This is the only place where Im happy to leave my cats. Rob and Melinda are completely focused on their needs, and I can keep an eye on my cats from the 24/7 cam. Its reassuring to know that they are in good hands. Im recommending them to every single cat owner I know!

Melinda & Rob always take the best care of my cats! Ive boarded multiple generations of cats many times with them now, and I can always trust that theyre well taken care of. Between my elderly cats who were chronically ill and needed special care and medication, to my new younger cats who can be a handful, these two are pros! The boarding space is great, either in kitty condos with jumping/hiding space or a little room all to themselves, absolutely no scary metal cages like other boarding places. They even have a camera so you can check in on your cats while theyre here! Its a little out of the way for me, but absolutely worth the drive to know my fuzzy babies are safe and happy while Im gone.

I have an old cat whos extremely hostile towards anybody whos not me, and I cant say enough about how patient and kind the entire staff was with her. I felt confident that she was safe, comfortable, and well-cared for the entire time I was away (after worrying for months about what to do with her and even debating cancelling my trip). They were very communicative once they realized they probably wouldnt be able to give her her thyroid meds and even came up with a creative solution to ensure she received meds the entire time I was away. I also appreciated being able to check in on my cat with the 24/7 cameras. I was beyond pleased with the service I (and my cranky old lady) received, and Id recommend Kitten Around to anyone boarding a cat! I wont hesitate to bring her back there the next time I travel. :)

Hands down the best kitty boarding experience weve ever had! The space for our 2 kitties was more than ample, the cameras really put you at ease and its delightful to be able to check in on our babies while were away. Cannot recommend highly enough!! 🥰

Kitten Around Cat Boarding is fantastic! The facility is clean with lots of sunlight. Melinda and Rob took great care of Swiper and Boots during their months-long stay. They take the time to really get to know the cats in their care and give them lots of attention. An added bonus was the camera that allowed me to see what the cats were up to, which helped me miss them a little less. We highly recommend Kitten Around. It is a beautiful clean environment for your kittiesWe have taken our cats there since they opened. We live in Henrietta and its only a 30 minute drive. Well worth the trip to know your kittie will be loved while you are away.If your cat needs special medications, no worries, as Melinda started out as a cat only vet tech. Our first cat had medical issues and needed injections. It was not a problem as Melinda gave them to our Coco.Did I mention they play soothing music and have lovely calming aromas for our kitties. Its like a spa,Take your kitty there, you will not be disappointed.

They are building a new facility to accommodate more kitties. They frequently are full so we make reservations well in advance. Expert care as she is a vet tech.

Our cat has “vacationed” here while we were away several times. They are the absolute best and take great care of him—even though he can be rather difficult. My wife uses the app to check in on him via cameras during the day and loves it. The owners/caregivers are wonderful and obviously love what they do.

Kitten Around provided excellent care for our two cats while we went on vacation for 2 weeks. Melinda and Rob clearly love cats and we had no qualms about boarding with them. We loved the little personal touches - having a few photos emailed to us during our trip, and being able to view our pets via a webcam etc, and we had complete peace of mind. The cost was very reasonable for such a great service and we will definitely be repeat customers.

All of the above! Melinda and Rob will care for your kitty like they would their own! Each cat gets loving attention and a careful plan for any medical issues they might have. They even play calm music for the kitties and it is a warm and peaceful environment for every cat they have with them. An excellent place to keep your feline companions safe when you are away!

The facilities are amazing, like a kitty hotel.The prep and attention to detail are second to none.If Rob and Melinda can survive our two weirdo kittehs then yours will be super catered for as well!!

Wonderful place for your kitty. Its quiet and Melinda and Rob are diligent in keeping the kitties happy. Large glassed in individual areas for each kitty and areas for family cats to be together as well. Highly recommend!

Melinda and Rob are terrific and will treat your cat like royalty! Recently the needs of our senior cat had left us homebound and we wouldnt have been able to take a much needed trip without their service. We would (and will!) gladly make use of them again.

A small business with husband and wife, but very professional, clean, and pleasant environment. They have cameras set up so you can see your fur babies, and see how they play with them. STRONGLY recommend!

Best place in the Finger Lakes Region to board your cat for a day or a month. Rates are very reasonable and Melinda and Rob truly love cats. Melinda and Rob will go out of their way to make sure that your cat feels as comfortable as if it was at your own home. Medicines will be administered as needed and you must provide your own food, but every other creature comfort that is wanted by your cat will be provided. This includes daily walks outside of the pen and an extra loving hand for a much-needed pet or ear scratch.

I recently had to board my two cats while I was in the process of moving. Lola and Michael Kors ended up staying with Rob and Melinda for two months. I was able to go and visit my cats whenever I wanted to. Plus, there was a camera so I could watch them anytime. The facility was spotless and my cats were very well cared for. If anybody came into the room while I was visiting the cats, they would run right to them for attention. That did it for me! Especially, my Lola tends to be skittish around strangers. Animals are the best judge of character. I would use them again and again. I couldn’t recommend them more.
