Its clear they enjoy working with the animals.The doctor gave us confidence that the course of treatment for our cat would be the best we could do to make her comfortable, increase her appetite and ease her symptomsUnfortunately, the prognosis is not good, but the details of that news were delivered with empathy and a clear explanation of what we can expect going forwardThank you to the doctors and staff. Overall very good first impression. We took our nervous rescue dog for her first visit. The reception team were very supportive. We then met with the veterinary assistant and she was very sweet and gentle with our dog. Dr. Gilbert joined us and he was very patient and thorough with our dog.

The front desk staff are amazing, but Im terrible with names and asking makes me anxious. I have recommended and will should from the roof if I have to - MVH is AWESOME!!! Its great care for my pet and they know how to handle the fretting human (AKA - Me!).*update* Dr. Kremmerman is phenomenal! Dr.Gilbert should continue to be proud of MVH!

Arrived to Mamaroneck Summer of 2024 from Canada. Two months ago I took my Portuguese Waterdog for an Ear infection. Being new customer, I asked many questions... At the end I was charged $475.23 (I was never told in advance I was going to be billed for all the extras I was only trying to learn about - be ready for it!).Second time (Today)... Eye infection. I didnt have a good feeling about going back, but I did. Arrived on time for my appointment... I was asked to wait. After 15min someone came in asking for forgiveness due to being late and went in right away (not an urgency which I wouldve understood). 5min later I am told there are no rooms available and thanked me for my patience, which I decided to let go and keep being patient. 30 min after a room was finally available, someone arrived and was given to them instead.I left.I just wished New Customers were being taken care of too.My dog sure needs beter attentionGood luck!

I brought my dog for the International Travel Documentation. We usually do it here but this is our first time since the new owner.The charges for Dr. Maria $111.00. International Health Cert. $212.00 USDA Certificate Endorsement Fee $47.00. VEHCS Electronic Submission Fee $59.00. Those fees do not match with the USDA official fees. It is expensive for the service you receive. The appointment was quick. It took 5 minutes to copy the form from our prior frequent traveler info. The dog did not have a full physical check up. Dr did not take the dog’s temperature neither checked its mouth or its abdomen/body. Also, I was surprised to see the same bully receptionist still on the front of this office.I am looking for another vet/international travel DVM. We do not deserve this uncompetitive bullying service.

After moving from LA to Westchester two years ago, I was so fortunate to find Mamaroneck Vet. Dr. Kremerman is wonderful as is Dr. Gilbert. The staff are all amazing and have been so helpful to me and my little rescue dog. Day Care has also helped tremendously and I recommend all of them very highly

I’ve taken my adopted stray cat to the Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital for several years. We’ve seen both of the vets there and have been very happy with the way they handle my pet. You can tell they genuinely care about the patients. My daughter switched her cats from a veterinary practice that wasn’t providing the care level she wanted. My grandson adopted a puppy and the puppy is brought to Mamaroneck veterinary. So the entire family are bringing pets here. I highly recommend the practice for the professional and gentle way they handle the animals. The techs and assistants are all very good as well.

Uny has been going to DayCare at Mamaroneck Vet Hospital for a couple months. While she was there she was stung by a bee and had a allergic reaction. Due to the Vet Peoples quick response they took care of her. They injected drugs to reverse the reaction. They are the best.

My 6 month old puppy Dublin has been going here since he was 8 weeks. He loves it here. He trusts and feels so comfortable with the Vets and especially the female vet techs! Lovvvvves their hugs and treats!

Our beloved Rufus who was 14.5 suddenly became sick and my wife and I knew it was time for him to leave us. Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital went above and beyond to make sure he was treaty with dignity and empathy during his final moments. Rufus always loved Dr. Gilbert and we are so thankful for him and all of the staff. It is so hard to lose a pet but the whole experience was so peaceful and loving. The best vet hands down. Every visit my dogs have had has been excellent, thorough, and helpful. Every visit we are attended right away and have to wait very little. When in with the vet you are not rushed and are provided thorough information depending on your visit.

I made an appointment for my cat and they took her in on time , and they were very patient . They explained everything and details about the vaccines that the cat needed and at the end they gave her some free toys to take home to play with . I definitely recommend this place ! They are very easy and take very good care with your pets !

We have been using Dr Gilbert for our dogs for more than 12 years. We have always found him to be kind, caring, knowledgeable and responsive. He also has practical common sense in his recommendations. That is always greatly appreciated. Highly recommend.

I recently brought my 3 year old lab in for a nail issue. He somehow banged his paw and the nail was bleeding and hanging off. 2 very nice vet techs were able to take care of it and remove the hanging nail. I am very happy with the service and the staff at Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital!

We have brought all of our dogs here for the last 20 years! I always have a great experience. The office is always spotless, and the waiting time is short. I find a great ease when trying to fit appointments into our busy schedule. The receptionists are friendly, vet techs really love animals and ALL THE DOCTORS are knowledgeable. They actually saved my English Bulldogs life when she ate a Fire Start 11 years ago. I know they love and care about your pet!

Wonderful outstanding experience! The receptionist Mariana was beyond helpful, caring, kind and compassionate! She went above and beyond to comfort my concerns and accommodate us! She was one of the nicest receptionists I’ve ever spoken to! Dr Gilbert was so amazing as well and kept us so informed during the visit and somehow made a virtual visit so wonderful. He has such a warm tone and was very comforting, I feel my new puppy is in such great hands! The technician Jackie I only met briefly but she was such a doll and made me feel so comfortable with her as my lil babies companion for the visit. She really was so so sweet! Thanks for a great 1st visit! They are already stressful and even more so not being able to come in with him. 10/10!We just saw Dr. Kremerman for my older dog’s visit. She was so beyond amazing! So kind, sweet and friendly! My dog has anxiety and they said she was so happy in there. She calmed my anxiety as well, since I couldnt go in with her to comfort her. My dog was so happy after her visit too! She usually is lethargic and shaking uncontrollably after vet visits. She came back out so happy and she even was amazing on the car ride home! The technician Nadya was amazing and my dog just loved her! I have never had an experience like this at my previous vet! The doctors, technicians, and the receptionists are all incredible! The whole staff is just so warm, comforting and loving and it really shows! I highly recommend this practice!Jackie & Nadya are the kindest technicians I have met. Being as tho we cant go in, it is so calming to know these girls are in there with them making them feel comfort, loved and happy.

** FYI to the owner of a dark tan/medium brown boxer/pit looking dog who is currently boarding here. ** Your dog got out yesterday (nov 6) around 6 pm he ran across Boston post road four times, in the dark. Almost got hit by a car twice, i somehow managed to stop the cars from hitting him, most stressful thing ever. I called the cops and managed to get him back to the vets gated space and stayed with him until I could find someone who worked there, very difficult cause it was after hours. Please consider boarding him else where.

I’ve been taking my dog here for many years. We always have nothing but great experiences with Dr. Gilbert. His staff is attentive, patient, and compassionate. Nadya was an exceptional tech. My dog recently got put on insulin and we went to the animal hospital so we could be shown how to administer it and she was super kind and helpful at showing us how to do it and answered any questions we had.

When my last vet (shall remain nameless) refused to see my dog on an emergency basis, -- even though I was a client for more than 13 years, I called Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital at the suggestion of my son who had been using them for a while.Well, the staff was sympathetic to my cause and so accommodating and understanding! We had a next day, first-thing appointment since it was late on Friday. They diagnosed her and put her on the road to recovery in no time! It was then and there that I called my previous vet and asked them to fax my records over to Mamaroneck Vet & Pet!!!This time around, my dog hurt her paw and would let out a yelp from time-to-time. I called the ladies at the desk and they said to come in. Dr. Gilbert and Christian worked their magic and not only is she better, shes acting like a pup even though shes 12-1/2 yrs. old! Theyve put the pep back into her step.Ive had a wonderful experience at Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital and will continue to use them. I constantly recommend them when I speak with other pet owners. Dr Gilbert and his staff are, without a doubt, real animal people! My wife bought our dog here for surgery. They did heart worm test and give her heartworm meds. Few months later I bought him back for something else. Asked me if he takes heartworm or was test I said I dont know. So ended up being charged for a test and meds came home and my wife said this was already done. Either their record keeping is bad or non-existent or just a cash grab. They should have been able to tell me what they have done so far.

We were referred here by another family whos been with them for many years. They were very easy to work with, super easy to make appointments for, and the staff are all very friendly and professional. Furthermore, our new puppy had a shaky start to life and they provided exceptional care. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend!

DR Gilbert and his staff are caring and very skilled in treating my 90lb rescue Linus for the past 8 years. Besides the excellent vet treatment, Linus boards here when we go away where he cant go with us. Also spends daycare time here while we are working. He comes home tired but always happy. The staff treats him like their best friend. Its so nice not to have to worry about him when hes there.

I cant speak English well.The doctors and nurses were very kindly and easy to understand, and they even used a translation app when I needed it. My dog ​​hated the hospital, but the vaccination and checkup went smoothly. It was a really nice hospital. thank you.

We were clients of Dr. Gilbert for seven years prior to moving away 5 years ago. We needed a travel document to return home after visiting family and friends in Westchester. Dr. Gilbert graciously agreed to examine his old friend Skye. I received a very thorough evaluation and Dr. Gilbert made sure I understood everything.Dr. Gilbert and staff are professional and very animal friendly. The excellent relationship we had years ago remains. I recommend this team to one all animal lovers without hesitation.

Dr. Gilbert and his staff are wonderful! We travel all the way back from CT where we moved to so Dr. Gilbert can take care of Ozzy, our Labrador Retriever. He’s three and a handful. But Dr. Gilbert’s Office handles him like the pros they are. I have complete confidence in them. I highly recommend them.

Whenever there is a medical issue the veterinarians follow up until it is resolved -- the commitment to their animal patients and their families is very impressive. The staff is equally qualified and friendly. I love receiving reminder emails about upcoming required vaccines or exams. The office is very accommodating when we need an urgent appointment. Plus Robbie cant wait to step his paws into the building when we arrive :).

Dr Gilbert is the best! We had a bad experience at another vet in the area and transferred here based on our dog walker’s recommendation. When I called for my cat Dang I was taken as soon as there was an opening which I appreciated. Everyone that works there were very nice and my fur baby was handled beautifully. It was a good first experience and Im glad I was able to meet Dr Gilbert and the staff!

Experience was great Dr. Gilbert is always amazing with Cosmo. Very thorough and compassionate. I came in on Monday, 10/8, with no appointment and he was able to squeeze me in on a busy morning. Did not rush through things, despite having a busy schedule. Could not be happier, I will never go anywhere else for Cosmos care.

They will have your dog sleeping on concrete most of there employees in the back aren’t even certified and if it’s freezing cold they will spray your dog with water and leave him there until it’s time to bring them back inside some workers just completely neglect a dog you will never know…poor dogs they deserve better sadly this place just cares about the money and not the animals my advice only hospital visits DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOG HERE!

Dr. Gilbert & his staff are amazing. He has been caring for my Newfoundland Harley since he was 4 mons, now 4 yrs. Harley is also a daily regular at the Pet Resort. Dr. Gilbert possess tremendous patience, knowledge, thoroughness & understanding when responding to my concerns - even at 8 p.m. at night when I am picking up Harley from daycare & he is trying to get home after a 12 hours day. I came to Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital 2 and a half years ago when I got my hedgehog, Peanut. I called every veterinary hospital in Westchester asking if they would see hedgehog’s and Dr. Gilbert was the only one who said he would see her as his patient. A couple months later when Peanut was 5 months old she got sick and was cared for by Dr. Gilbert. The exotic vets elsewhere did not care about her health, but wanted to run multiple costly tests on her and charge an astronomical amount for any kind of surgery done to her. It was a place that catered towards exotics and they had no hospitality and was not interested in helping animals. Dr. Gilbert was very honest with me when it came to treating Peanut as he had never done this type of surgery on a hedgehog. The operation was a complete success because he dedicated much of his time doing all the necessary research. After the surgery he made sure to check up on her and make sure she was feeling better, and she was. If it was not for Dr. Gilbert Peanut would not have made it much longer, I would have lost my little girl. He saved her and allowed me to spend many happy years with her and I will forever be grateful. As hedgehogs are prone to medical problems I brought Peanut back to Dr. Gilbert many times whenever I suspected a problem and each time he helped her and made her better again. He was with Peanut when she passed and just like me, he was heartbroken. I’ve never seen a veterinarian care about animals like he does. If he ever moves I will have to as well because I know that in his hands my pets will always receive the best treatment possible. I have complete trust and confidence in Dr. Gilbert and I couldn’t imagine taking my pets anywhere else. The staff is very welcoming and comforting and always came to see Peanut whenever she was there. She was a very friendly hedgehog, so the staff always wanted to see her, hold her and see how she was. They are all truly wonderful people and the doctors there are gifted.

Dr. Gilbert and his staff were extremely responsive when we called with a concern for Cedar. We brought her in and they handled her lovingly and professionally. This is our first pet, and we couldn’t have picked a more caring, excellent practice.

They took their time with him and explained everything so that when i left all my questions were answered. They even called the next day to check up on him. Brought our new puppy there 5 years ago when she was ill and our current vet in the area wanted us to wait a week before they could see her. Called Mamaroneck veterinary hospital and they told us to bring her right in. We switched to Mamaroneck vet and never looked back.Lexi goes for veterinary care, daycare, boarding and grooming. We also took training class at the resort5 years later and Lexi still gets excited when we pull in each morning for daycareI never have any concerns leaving Lexi with Mamaroneck veterinary and pet resort. The staff is amazing. Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital has provided great care for our puppy. The front office staff are particularly helpful and responsive. Some of the vets are friendlier than others but the care is always excellent.

I came in for an emergency appointment because my little Chihuahua had a bad case of diarrhea and ended up with a terrible infection on his bottom which was leaking it seemed. Dr. Gilbert always takes care of my little guy and today was no exception. Within hours of us leaving Kasie was showing signs of his normal self. We are both so thankful. Although the bill was steep I thought, Id try to do whatever I could to help my sweetie. Maybe offer payment plans for higher bills.

Best animal hôpital Ive been to. So thankful for how they have cared for my dogs.Everyone here is so nice and goes above and beyond. My dog is a rescue with anxiety, and he is always happy to go here. This is strange bc he is very skittish and normally afraid outside the home. He always comes out relaxed and happy, even after blood work. Thank you for all you do!

Dr Gilbert is fantastic. Calm, rationale and great with Bailey. You can tell he and the entire staff have genuine concern for the animals they care for. I appreciate their accessibility off hours and the follow up from Dr Gilbert and his staff on Baileys recovery.

Everyone that works here is so kind and caring. We feel that our dog is in very good hands with the veterinarians that work at the Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital. He has suffered a few illnesses over the years and his diagnosis and treatments have been spot on! The groomer is excellent too!

These reviews must be fake. This place is God awful. They almost killed my dog. I left her there for a week while I went on vacation locally. I called everyday. They said she was doing great every time I called. If they would of told me she was sick I would have came and picked her up. When I finally went to pick her up after a week she had a fever and a horrible cough. They said it started 2 hours before I picked her up. Their vet said it was allergies and the fever was excitement. My dog takes meds for incontinence. If she doesn’t take her meds for more than two days she pees herself. Not only was she peeing herself when I picked her up but she had a spot in her fur that was from laying in her urine. My dog also lost weight in her 1 week stay there. Which leads me to believe she was not eating. I spent $650 on vet bills after her stay there. When I presented the vet bills to Mamaroneck pet resort the vet there said I refused meds from him. Which was a bold faced lie. He offered allergy meds. They gave me less than half my money back and actually told me not to come back. As if I would have. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE. My dog was very sick for 2 weeks after her stay there. If the vet had offered me the correct antibiotics and cough meds I would have taken it. He risked my dog dying so that the place wouldn’t have to shut down because of the dog flu. They are lucky I didn’t sue them…

Just had my dog Koda (large German Shepherd) in due to chronic painful ear infections. My previous vet said it was just wax build up. To my dismay it was a serious infection. Due to the misdiagnosis my dog has been in pain for two years now and it resulted in a punctured ear drum. Thank god I decided to take him to Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital for another opinion. Dr. Shepherd and her staff were professional, dedicated and compassionate. Dr. Shepherd refused to give up on her quest to find the underlying cause. Her wealth of veterinary knowledge has given me back my playful gentle giant. The entire staff starting with the front desk are amazing people who demonstrate a true love for the well being of animals. I cannot say enough about my positive experience there. Thank you Dr. Shepherd and your entire staff!!!!

Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital has cared for my three dogs over the past 15 years. They have always done so with caring and expertise and the proper advise. Doggy Day Care is new for us and our current dog , Lalo, jumps out of the car to go! I can always count on them, and this gives me great comfort.

Dr. Maria and her caring Assistants, ingeniously calmed my emotionally cautious canine, feeding her baby food while drawing blood, etc. I was dazzled by their intuitive care and informative follow-up calls. What a relief to finally find the best care for Lola!

Our pets have been patients of Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital & Pet Resort for nearly a decade. We really love the entire staff there. They are kind and caring with our pets and we found them to be even more attentive and sympathetic when we learned our cat had developed an advance stage of cancer and were faced with deciding on a course of treatment to try to extend his life. Most recently, we brought our new puppy in and learned a lot about what we should and shouldnt be doing. Plus, weve also boarded our pets at the Pet Resort and were given continuous updates about how they were doing. All in all, if you are looking for first rate service for your pet, then look no further than the Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital and Pet Resort!

I have been taking our now geriatric dog to MVH for her medical needs. The organization is run professionally and congenially. There are always appointments available with little wait time, and the veterinarians explain everything clearly and patiently. Most recently, we have worked with Dr. Nance, who has been generous with her time both at MVH and on the phone. Additionally, the desk staff are friendly to both human and beast. I feel that our dog receives very fine care at Mamaroneck Veterinary Hospital.

They are the best. They saw Sumo the same day when his prior vet of 8 years couldnt care less and gave me an appointment 10 days later. They are extremely professional, knowledgeable an compassionate. I am changing to you for both my Dog and Cat.

Great doggy day care and boarding facility but operating with a Skeleton staff. Seems many employees were laid off during Covid. Long wait times on phone and to drop off . I hope they can work out the kinks soon. Nice staff but woefully inadequate parking . Nice pool for dogs

Great Vet Hospital also has daycare which is extremely helpful. Buster gets excited every time ý staff is amazing. A vet tech named Alycia (i think thats her name)was extremely helpful & very pretty. Always greets me & buster with a smile. Doctors are excellent as well

I needed a second opinion on my cat Max.Mamaroneck veterinary & Pet Resort responded right away and took my Max in as a new patient and treated Max with wonderful caring kind care. The Doctor called after exam and provided his opinion and prescribed a supplement to help improve my cat’s condition!!! I certainly recommend thiis animal hospital to all fur baby parents 👍👍👍

Took my dog here for the first time on Saturday having not been 100% satisfied With my other veterinary place I decided to look else where and that is how I ended up here I can not tell you how happy I was here even from my first phone call making the appointment was so pleasant they were able to give me an appointment being a new patient right away Dr Gilbert was great he took his time with us while I explained everything I didn’t feel rushed and my dog rocko was at ease being there also everyone is so friendly at the front desk such a great staff ! we will definitely be using Mamaroneck Veterinary Hosptial for our future needs thanks again !

As a naturalist and wildlife rehabilitator, I have worked with hundreds of exotic and wild animals. Of the many vets I have used personally and professional, Dr. Gilbert is by far the best! He is very knowledgable, thorough and personable with a diverse background of experience. The staff is friendly and the facilities are spotless, I would say this is the best veterinary clinic in lower Westchester!

Not worth leaving your dog for daycare.Left my dog on back to back days. After the first day i noticed that his elbows has some lost hair and my dog was acting gingerly towards the area. The next day when i dropped him off I asked them to pay attention as I would not like to see the area grow... In the end when picking him up ALL of the hair on his elbow was gone and the skin was red/raw.When I asked what went on, the two people at the front desk had no answers. The young boy (no more than 18 probably) said he didnt see anything, never noticed that the dog entire elbow was rubbed raw. My dog is whining in pain currently and isnt acting right....There was no manager, vet.... anyone with any sort of knowledge of your dogs health on staff when i picked my dog up. No one had answers... just everyone looking with a blank stare I dont know...Something is wrong here.Few thoughts:They dont pay attention to the dogs.Based on the condition of his harness and collar, I feel that he may have been contained somewhere... hoping for nothing bad.Its just not worth it. My dog has spent the first two years of his life attending doggie daycares through manhattan and has NEVER had an isse. Two days in westchester....Be safe, westchester addresses do not bring good businesses. Stay away.

Dr. K was so friendly and nice with my kitty. She took her time and explained in detail what she was doing. I would definitely recommend her to everyone.

Dr Gilbert is caring and has gone out of his way. Our baby isn’t doing well, he has called multiple times to support us.

I took my little Lucy for her first time.! Everything was such a breeze, from making the appointment by phone to checking out. Everyone there is caring, professional and willing to answer any and all questions!

I came in with my son to have the vet check the injured leg and wing of a nestling we rescued and had successfully kept alive over 24 hours with a warming light, cotton nesting material, and feeding with a syringe.I was told we needed to hurry because the bird specialist was leaving soon. When we arrived they whisked the bird away-I assumed to check the leg and wing. The tech returned and handed me our empty aquarium and said the prognosis wasnt good-- which surprised me because he had been fine in the car chirping away.I pressed her to see the bird so my son could say goodbye. She took us to a room where I was shocked to see that the nestling had put into a lidded cardboard box with no air holes and no warming lamp. I had been told the vet would assess and then the wildlife rehabilitator might take charge of the bird until his wing and leg were healed. Its not good the techs said and then said the vet planned to let the bird die. Can we see the vet and understand why? I got the impression that was not something they did either. The vet said the bird had labored breathing and the intestines were full, indicated internal damage we couldnt see quickly showing us the intestines saying they were about to burst out. I said to her that the bird was pooping regularly over the past 24 hours, was chirping often, had slept without labored breathing through the night and had labored breathing only after feedings. Was euthanization really necessary? I asked if intestinal bulge could be from over feeding and she shrugged said it was hard to tell, and that he probably wouldnt survive that letting the bird go was the best thing. She seemed rushed--it was Friday afternoon, Im sure she had other (paying) clients and wanted to leave. Wed like to be with him. Seeming to not want to spend any more time she said I CAN ONLY DO IT RIGHT NOW. Feeling pressure (exhausted from checking on the bird & feeding every few hours over night) I acquiesced, trusting her recommendation. She came back in with a needle large enough for a horse (larger than the one a different vet used for our dog when she was euthanized 10 years ago), my son started to cry & said oh no its such a big needle! -in a split second before we had time to say STOP the extra large needle was pushed into the bird & he went limp-- the life sucked out of him. I felt immediately that we had been rushed & pushed into a bad decision. I wondered if the team had planned to just let the bird die in the closed box in that back room if we had not pressed them to see him. I later went online to see the doctors LinkedIn resume. She had been at this office for only 3 months and riddled throughout her resume were statistics on being profitable/productive, shorter client/time ratio, consistently improved the bottom line. Nothing about birds being a specialty--only small animals.I also looked up & learned that I grossly over fed the nestling & felt horrible! If only the doctor (Lotus) had asked--how much were you feeding the bird? how often? She might have come to a different conclusion--but without consulting us or listening to what I said she gave the bird a death sentence. That bird might have survived-- he might have only needed to fast for another 8 hours to clear out the rest of the food. They took the bird, acting as though as soon as I came to the front desk with the nestling they owned it & were the experts, without listening or collaborating when forming the care plan. BE VERY CAREFUL if this office and this vet sees your pet--make sure you ask questions and DO NOT LET THEM RUSH YOU INTO DECISIONS. Especially if you have to make any big decisions.I am now feeling even worse about feeling pressured into making a rushed decision, it felt at the time as though she was the only vet in the world who could euthanize- that it had to be done that very second. Forgetting completely that if we felt he was declining (which we had not until he was in a dark cold box in a cold room) we could always bring him to a 24 hour animal hospital.

Great full-service pet care. Great vets, great grooming service and theres daycare and boarding if you want it. Love that its five minutes from my house. Highly recommend.

Dr. Gilbert is a wonderful vet. His staff are lovely and take such good care of my dog.

I dont have a pet but Im an animal lover at heart. Found a beautiful black lab that had gotten lost and couldnt find his way home. The vet was kind enough to take him in and is a splendid man. Shows you some people really do care about their profession.

The doctors are the best staff is wonderful. Dr. Gilberto came to my home when it was time for my dear Sadie to go, making it a drop less stressful. I will always be grateful for that!

Access or delivering of pet to premises should be explained in detail and in advanced by staff. Otherwise, this place is great. They truly care about your pet. Overall, the staff is great and patient with pet owners.

Very nice staff, they definitely know what they are doing as well. However I have found that anytime I step foot in here I will be paying a lot more than other vet clinics I have been to.

Id give 10000 stars if I could, Dr. Gilbert was really great and as I am so saddened to have had my kitty put to sleep, the team at MVH were so wonderful to us.

Our dog Kingston was well loved and cared for there for years including a night where he was so ill that the doctor slept at the clinic to oversee him in case he took a turn for the worse. Worst experience with vets telling me one thing during visit and do completely opposite to attempt to get you for another visit.

We have been using this vet for our cat for the past few years. This staff is very professional and caring. The office is clean and bright. They have boarding also but we have never used it. They seem a smidge pricey but I find them worth the cost. We do have pet insurance which helps a bit. Only negative is the lack of parking but otherwise I highly recommend.

Really nice place. Ive been using Dr Gilbert since May of 2011. My regular veterinarian was away for the holiday weekend and my friend kindly referred me to Mamaroneck veterinary hospital. The first person to take my telephone call was Barbara. She was very personable and gave me an appointment for that day as a matter of fact. I have been using Dr Gilbert ever since. I also started recently using the pet resort for a new puppy and I have to say that he was taken care of very well. The care that my three dogs receive is wonderful from every angle.

We followed Dr. Lori Gil to this practice and it was truly one of the best things we ever did! We travel close to 45 minutes to an hour just for her! She goes above and beyond for her animal patients. We adore her and we couldnt imagine going anywhere else for care for our dogs Diesel & Rocky. We had an emergency situation one evening and they were just about to close and one of Dr. Gils associates Dr. Nance stayed open late for us to bring Diesel in because he swallowed some grapes. We couldnt be more grateful for having a forever veterinary home. Keep up the great work, its so evident that you all love what you do! Thank you for taking such great care of our fur babies.

My dog Spanky had not been himself for over a week. I called MVH at 4:00 on a Saturday and was told to bring him right in. His problem was immediately diagnosed. He was given medicine and within 12 hours he was back to himself! Excellent, experienced and loving doctors and staff!! Would not trust anyone else!!

Great friendly vets and fast service!

We have taken our pets here for many years. They were especially helpful with our dog Cody, who was quite difficult and unfriendly at the vets. Dr Gilbert in particular was always kind and tried to minimize Codys distress. He was very compassionate in June when we had to put Cody to sleep after 12.5 years with him. A few weeks later we adopted another dog and we will certainly continue to use this vet. The services seem a bit expensive at times, but I think this is because the vet we came from and used for decades ( until he passed away) was underpriced, and Cody was a more difficult case because of his attitude.

Feel very confident with this pet doctor. The doctor is in and the staff are attentive and professional.

Our dog maximus was attacked by cayote and was rushed to cornelle veterinary hospital. We were sent home saying he was just fine and he just got scared. As his symptoms and his severe shaking never stopped, he was taken to our local vet. He was examined 3 times in 3 days and after many xrays and many test, they could not find anything. After 1 week our dogs skin completely peeled off because of bacteria and 3 wounds was found on his body plus 2 large wound on his rectum. Our dog lived for 1 week with 5 large wounds on his body without any treatment but antibiotics. We ended up paying 20K hospital bills because of DR Gilberts malpractice and his limited capacity on treating animals. He never realized any wounds or thought about shaving our dog to see potential wounds. I do believe that DR Gilbert is very limited person and he does not take his job seriously. This place is just another money making vet that does not care your animals. Our case is now a matter of legal process. I highly recommend taking your dog to another place if your dog requires excessive or life threatening treatment. People in here is very limited, at least DR Gilbert is for sure.
