Kat is terrific!!! She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, accessible, and kind. Kat explains everything and has a wealth of information. She has many tricks up her sleeve for unique situations as well. Kat is very passionate about her job. Our dog Bailey loves working with her and has learned so much already. If I could give more stars I would! We had a bit of a unique situation. We found out we were expecting twins 2 days after bringing home our black lab puppy. Now that the babies are home, we needed some assistance with Murphy’s behavioral issues. I reached out to Kat and learned quickly it was the best thing I could have done! My husband and I were in awe at how she commanded the room with Murphy. She showed us exactly what to do to fix his main behavioral issues and the difference was astounding! We love Kat and are so grateful for what she did for our family!

Britta is a German Shepard/ Belgian Malinois pup who has a high-drive and was a rescue. Kat was patient, kind, and able to earn her trust. She has very personalized training regimen and gave us notes and sheets related to the training and behaviors we were targeting each session. Kat has been working with our rescue dog who needed leash and command training and who has trust issues. She has been doing a fantastic job. Our little muffin boy Beau is a different dog since training with her (both human and dog, haha). Her direction and our follow through and love has been noticed by neighbors who say he is a different dog from when we first got him and we have only had him a few months. I new I needed to hire a trainer for my Bichon Frise (Shayna) so we could have a better relationship. Kat is very knowledgeable when it comes to dog behaviors. Our pups are very spoiled and super anxious about strangers in the house. But that was not an issue with Kat cos she just knew how to handle them. This was my first time having a trainer for my pups and sessions with her are more like educating and showing the owners of what to do rather than working with the dog directly. She shared a lot of useful resources that’ll help me understand the dog beside the training as well.

We just used MadKat Dog Training for our HIGHLY energetic and smart hound mix named Bear. He was about 11 months old when he started his first session with Kat. Bear had some basic training when he was younger, but he still needed to improve on his manners. We also had some concerns about his behavior with our newborn. Kat helped us take our training to the next level. She is an extremely knowledgeable trainer and competitively priced. She not only helped us with our 11 month old puppy, but our more mature 8 year old pup as well. Kat give you the tools to train your dog properly ( all positive reinforcement). I heard about MadKat Dog Training through a social media post and immediately reached out. Kat came and evaluated my rescue beagle who is 3 years old. My beagle had training she had done prior to being adopted a year ago by me and I had done training with her as well, but she recently got into a habit of peeing on my couch and peed on my bed twice this summer. I didn’t want that behavior to continue as I was pregnant with my second child at the time and had a 2 year old at home as well. I felt very overwhelmed that my pup who was pretty well behaved was now ruining my new couch almost daily. Admittedly, taking her on walks was becoming difficult due to my pregnancy so we had been letting her out in the yard instead. Kat was extremely honest when she came to evaluate my beagle and suggested daily dog walking as a solution to get her energy out. Well it worked!! We haven’t had any accidents. She is much calmer and listens more. She looks forward to those daily walks with the dog walker and I feel less guilty about not being able to give her a brisk walk. I am appreciative for Kat’s honesty and evaluation.

When we met Kat my 8 month old Sharpei was out of control. She taught us how to properly train him and give him structure. She means business and loves her job and shows it in her training. Now our dog listens and knows all the commands she taught us in just 3 sessions. She is definitely a dog whisperer!!. We scheduled a half hour consultation session with Kat. She asked questions and observed our rescue dog named Dory. We had concerns with some unwanted behaviors. Kat was a savior for our pup, Jenny - a classic, very high-energy husky. Before each session, Kat listened to the concerns that we had and customized Jennys training for the day around them. We would review the previous training session, Jennys progress, and introduce something new with each session. I found MadKat Dog Training in a Facebook group. My dog Zafira although cute, was insanely destructive. So we called Kat. She is very friendly, but most importantly, Zafira loved and LISTENED to her immediately. I was amazed at how a naughty dog could behave so quickly. We have been working with Kat for a few weeks now and Zafira has made a 180. She listens better and is way less destructive. Every training session she is eager to learn and is tired for the rest of the day (bonus!). Kat gives you homework as well (we humans need training too haha) so we can follow along and progress our pup. Kat has great hours of availability, works with you and is VERY reasonably priced. I highly recommend MadKat training and tell all my naughty dog friends about her. She is great, and so is Zafira now too!!! No better way to start off the New year, a better behaved dog!

We are SO happy with MadKat Dog Training. She taught our whole family how to train our 3 month old GoldenDoodle puppy and all of her techniques worked so well! We had three training sessions and each one was robust and well worth the money. We practiced the methods that she demonstrated with our pup for 15-20 minutes every day and he caught on so quickly.
