Bones Bath & Beyond Massapequa Park

I cannot say enough about the job they did on my 5 yo GSD rescue. I was very hesitant about bringing her because I wasnt sure how she would react. This was her first bath since I owned her. First, Sarah at the front desk was so kind and gentle and assured me that everything would be fine. She even sent me pictures. To make a long story short, they did a great job and I will go back again. Thank you all so much, she looked great.👍

I took both of my dogs to get groomed here and I am so happy with the results. They look so cute and are so clean! They came home very happy as well! I can not believe how well the deshedding they did worked, I can pet my golden and almost no fur comes off. Can’t wait to come back 😊

I’m always happy with my pups grooming here. He looks great and smells amazing. Everyone here is so caring and I’m happy I chose this facility to groom my pup. I also come here to give my pup baths by myself. I find it so easy as the tubs are high and the blow dryer is so powerful and fast.

Staff is wonderful, you can tell they love your pet. Ive used their baths and washed Khloe there myself and the tubs are always clean and well maintained. I sprained my wrist and decided to let them bathe my sweet old lady this time. When I went to pick her up she was sporting diamonds and a new scarf!!

We have been taking our pups to their Massapequa and Merrick locations for several years now and each time the experience is a perfect A+🐶having the peace of mind that your pup will be in professional hands and taken care of is priceless! Its a nice facility, big walk up tubs, and everything is included shampoo, tooth brushes and doggy paste, stack of clean towels. And so friendly I spoke with Kelly, she was wonderful, and very attentive. Just 2 negatives, the water valves foe the pup bath, you have to constantly stay on it, as it fluctuates from cold to a little warm no biggie, Also its so loud, with the dogs in the back room being groomed barking, as well. Suggestion is to put a few noise muffleing panels on the walls would help alot. But still a 5 star

The worst experience! They butchered my 5 month old aussiedoddle! Not only did they completely disregard what we asked for but even the cut they gave her was nothing to be proud of. We asked for a facial trim , paws and private areas and nothing else. What we got was a complete buzz all around and when we asked why this was we got different excuses. One was that she was slightly matted in a small spot and they didnt wanna traumatize her, another was that the groomer didnt speak English and the final one was that we had apparently asked for a summer cut. When we complained the groomer stated that she was sorry but it is what it is and hair grows back was the response we received. Unfortunately my dog looks the way she does and I am stuck dealing with it but I do not recommend anyone go to this groomer.

They took such nice care of my Sadie. Her haircut is adorable. She even came home with a cute bow collar. The front desk girl was really nice and informative and let you know ahead of time what to expect. Great experience overall!

I brought my dog to Bones Bath & Beyond for the first time for a dog wash. Melanie was amazing took care of everything and even took pictures my baby Layla a one-year-old yellow lab she loved everything except when I tried to brush her teeth but they Supply you with absolutely everything all you need to do is bring your dog. Top-notch establishment excellent service we will be back thank you.

Great place. I have a very nervous dog. She goes in with very little resistance and comes out Prancing about. She looks so beautiful . They really take such good care of her . All of the staff is kind and caring. I highly recommend them! My favorite is her bandana and she wears it proudly until it falls off . Thank you!

Above and beyond treatment of pets and owners. They listen to requests and made sure my puppy Luna was comfortable and taken care of for her first haircut. From the front desk to the groomers and facilities, all excellent. Highly recommend this location.

UPDATE:My pup had a grooming today and he came home looking so good. He is always in such a good mood after visiting BB&B. All my thanks to the staff for taking good care of my boy! 😃-------Ive been taking my golden retriever to BB&B for over a year. They provide excellent grooming services and my pup always comes home looking and smelling amazing. The owners and staff are all very kind, and I feel safe leaving my pup with them.

They were great! I have 2 xxL dogs. Their prices are amazing compared to what’s out there. Plus the place is huge with a big staff So they can always fit u in Last min Sometimes the same day!

Was my first time this morning. Did a Self Wash. I was very impressed with the place. Very clean. It was like my fur baby GSD and I were in a 5 star dog resort/spa 😊. Most of all, Melanie is very professional, accommodating and friendly. I would recommend this place highly.

Very helpful clean. Would be great if there was a place to dry your pup instead of a wet tub. Should be able to take out of tub and bring to a stall to dry and brush your pup. Hope this is helpful. Not negative. Just an idea. All the stalls were empty when I was there. Would be great to move over to a stall to do the drying and brushing.

Viviana is amazing! My dog had not been groomed in months. He had matted hair which I am ashamed of but she showed no judgment and took very good care of him. Not only is he dematted but he is so happy and not a bruise or cut in site!! I’m so grateful for the care she gave my dog. He will be back!

I am a first time dog owner! my yorkie is 5 months old and he had never had a spa before. He looks great and seems so happy! we will be using them for over night stays and doggie play time!

Absolutely pawfect!! ;) I was looking for a new groomer in the neighborhood and so glad I came across them! They had wonderful reviews and had to try. Booking an appointment was super easy and the place it’s self is very cute, clean and the front desk women was so sweet! They keep the dogs in a playpen separate from each other and not in cages which is important to me. When I went to pick up my dog, check out was a breeze and it was probably one of the best cuts my dogs ever had! I’m so happy I found this place and I will most certainly be back! Thank you for such a wonderful experience and for taking such great care of my pup! :)

Absolutely loved the new addition to the Bones Bath & Beyond Family, their Massapequa Park location.. I have been to the Merrick one and always loved it. This one in Massapequa Park is squeaky clean and beautiful! Great job again by these fur baby loving and talent groomers.

I brought my goldendoodle here for the first time and I will most definitely be coming back! I’ve been to a few different groomers and this is by far the best one by far! I even recommended my sister and other friends and family members to bring their dogs here as well.

I was impressed by all the good reviews, but this place seems poorly managed. The groom itself was fine, but the front desk couldnt locate my appointment even though I had gotten a confirmation text. They did take him anyway which is good. When I came to pick up my dog they advised the total was $100 even, but charged my card $112 without telling me about any different in price before swiping my card. I just expected some better communication skills.

Melanie is an outstanding individual, her customer service skills and client engagement should be a guide for many companies and businesses to go by, I simply love her personality and it’s a joy to come in with such a smiling face greeting you at the desk and being so patient with you as you do your private dog wash. I will stress that you never want to get rid of her, a breath of fresh air and customer service, and very knowledgeable and pleasant at the same time.

Call BBB on Friday for my Shiz Shu and they were nice enough to call me back on Saturday and give me an appointment on Saturday afternoon. They are pretty nice there and listens clearly to their customers and how they want they pets groomed…fabulous team

Great customer service! I was given an appointment within a week, received a confirmation text and had zero wait when I dropped my dog off. Considering how busy they are I was impressed. The groomer had to make a couple of changes to the style I had originally asked for (My fault lol my dog had some matting ) and I was called a head of time and explained there could possibly be a change to the cost. (Which there wasn’t any additional charges 😃)I appreciate that they called and gave me a heads up ether way.They told me it will be within 3 hours and it was! The place was immaculate, the receptionist was very nice and my dog looks adorable!! 🐶

We took my daughter’s dog Mochi (Toy Golden Doodle) visiting us from LA and I brought him for grooming. They took great care of him and did an amazing job with the grooming. The way they treated him and shaped his hair was really cool.Congratulations and best of luck for the great great work.

Everyone there was so nice and helpful. They really did a great job with my dog who is a Great Dane / lab mix around 120lb. Bella loved it and she looked great. Definitely will recommend them.Just wanted her nails a tad shorter but they overall did a great job.

Great experience overall. It took us awhile to find a good grooming location and we finally did. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, the haircut and nails are done just the way we asked and the dogs wait in their own little area once they’re finished (unlike other places that cage them). They also finish the haircut/bath in a very reasonable amount of time. I highly recommend this place!

Warning! they charge storage fee for keeping your pet if you don’t come in on time to pickup without giving you a heads up that there’s additional fee. meanwhile, pet was just on leash in a nook so what’s the fee for?!

The lady there spent time explaining the process and different packages to me for my golden doodle. She was nothing but informative, patient and you could tell she loved animals. My dog was having some allergies and when I saw him again - he looked like a million bucks!!! So happy to have a place nearby with such happy people that welcome you and your puppy aka child. They have everything you need to wash your dog yourself. Great water and dryer pressure, leaving you fur baby nice and fluffy. They even provide doggie sprits Perfume. They clean up after your done (but we still tried to clean up ourself out of respect for the girls there). Will definitely come back again! 👍🏽

Really a great place that surpassed my expectation. Been using them in Merrick for couple years. They are wonderful with grooming and also overnight boarding when I’ve been on vacation. True dog lovers, professional and just a fun place that my dog likes to come to get groomed. I also like the self wash to bring my dog and rinse him off after the beach or the dog park. It’s a great option in a pinch.

We brought our Cockapoo Daisey here for the first time today, and we loved everything about this groomer! Our dog is 11 1/2 and we’re nervous for her to go to a new groomer our previous one left NY. This place is immaculate, brand new, beautiful, and most of all she literally got the best haircut she ever had! She came home very happy, which she never did in the past with other groomers. All our neighbors noticed how great she looks with her fancy bow too! This is by far the best grooming experience we ever had with our Daisey, and we will definitely be back 😊

My Maltese puppy had her first professional grooming today. I was very happy with our experience at Bones Bath & Beyond.We were greeted with a warm smile and reassured that Sasha would be well cared for today. I was asked how I wanted her hair styled.I was called at precisely the time they told me she would be ready. She looks and smells beautiful! And i just love her little bow and scarf.Her hair was cut just as I hoped.I will definitely bring her back to BB&B

We brought our Bernese mountain dog, Sherman, in to try out the self serve dog wash. It was such a fun experience! The owner gave us tips on how to bathe and dry our dog. He’s very knowledgable and you can tell he loves dogs! The whole facility is extremely clean and everyone is very nice. We felt so comfortable with them that we left Sherman with them for a week while we were out of town. They sent us videos of him having fun and playing with other dogs. We also had them bathe him before we picked him up. He looked so handsome and squeaky clean! When we picked him up you could see how happy he was and how well everyone took care of him!

Id recommend this place to any one with furry dogs lol, I have a golden doodle and she always comes out so cute, clean and evenly groomed. It takes a lot of trust when someone is grooming your dog especially with so much hair but even when shes matted I have no doubts because they are gentle and shes comes out looking amazing!

It was my first time there I brought in my mini dachshund and my mini Australian Shepherd who had just had ACL surgery 2 months ago they were very very careful with her they took their time I was very pleased I highly recommend them I will definitely be bringing them both back here glad I finally found a groomer who listens and does my dogs exactly how I want them again I highly recommend. Staff was so nice and asked all the right questions.

I now live out east and travel all the way to Massapequa park because they are truly a Gem. And Ive tried the ones by me, NO WAY...ALL BAD!!! Thank you for making my babies perfect.

I was looking for so long to find a good groomer for my mini golden doodle and I’m so thrilled that I found the perfect place to bring my baby. They’re so nice and very professional, I really love bring my Cali there. Highly recommend, I promise you won’t be disappointed and Melanie is so nice.

We went here exclusively for the self wash station. It was much easier than washing our puppy in the tub. I would advise for you to bring your own shampoo as there is is extremely watery and doesn’t really suds up. I’m not sure what the brand is. Their blow dryers are pretty strong so if you are dog is afraid of dryers they do have towels. It was only $15 and so much easier to not have to clean up

Ive taken my dog to the location in Woodbury twice. I have nothing but amazing things to say. I saw they opened up a location in Massapequa and got excited because its only 5 minutes from my home. Not only is the Massapequa location gorgeous, the staff was incredibly kind. From i believe Rose at the front desk and i think Camilla who groomed my dog. Between all the barking from the dogs and my anxious pup , they were kind, gracious and did a beautiful job on my dog. Greeted with smiles and kindness from start to finish. Will highly recommend this place to all my dog parent friends! 10/10

I will not recommend this place!I am new customer and their website says it has $10 OFF for new customers but the owner charged me in full price at the end.Moreover, I was late to pickup my dog. They charged me for “Pet Day Care” for half day additional $30 for being late for 2 hours.I told the owner, that no one informed in advance that there is a late charge or additional fee if you come late in picking up pet. No courtesy for new clients!Left unhappy and disappointed.. shocked for the additional surprise surcharge!I will not come back again and recommend this place.

I am very impressed. Also Camilla could not have been more accommodating, kind, considerate - she actually said Molly fell asleep while being groomed - now thats good, calming energy! I have searched high and low for a groomer, and to have landed here has truly been a blessing. I left Bones, Bath, and Beyond so delighted and rescheduled for my next appointment. I cannot thank Camilla and her team enough for making this visit so pleasant and seamless. I appreciate all you do for our beloveds. THANK YOU!!

I have been there 3 times. I like doing the self wash for my dogs. The place is clean and the girl at the desk is very sweet.

First time customer using the self wash. Place is clean and the setup is nice. Shampoo was practically water - didn’t even lather. Woman wouldn’t take the online coupon at first, saying that it only works if it’s printed out. Nowhere online does it say that. She tried to charge me for a large breed dog - he’s a little under 50, which is a medium breed. We also had to endure a crazy woman screaming next to us the whole time - stressing out my dog and me.

This was our first time using the self-wash, and will surely not be our last! Very friendly staff, and clean premises. All the supplies you need for a complete dog bath are at your fingertips. I had a blast and hope to be back soon!

The best self serve dog wash in all of Long Island - they supply everything from shampoo, towels, blow dryer, lots of different brushes, ear cleaner, tooth paste and toothbrushes. And the staff is incredibly sweet!

I went to do a self wash with my 84lb Golden, CJ. The staff was great...CJ...the chicken was not. I did accomplish my task and that was to give him a NON back breaking wash. I love the fact that I didnt have to bend over and kill my back. CJ made a splash but the staff were great! Will definitely be back!!!!

I am an AKC owner/handler/ an professional groomer. I needed a place to bath a Bichon who is going to Groom Expo in Hershey, Pa to be used in a grooming demo. Bones, Bath and Beyond (love the name!) self--wash was just fantastic. Very clean, great equipment and wonderful personel. I am AKC certified in Salon Management, Hygiene and Infectious Disease control and I felt very safe there bathing my beloved Bichon.As a professional groomer I did not need their help/assistance but I definitely got the impression they would give you the right advice and support if you need to use their facility to bath your own dog. I will definitely bring more dogs there to bath.

We’ve loved BBB’s grooming services, especially their adorable, cozy layout so much that we would travel the 20-30 minutes to get to their Merrick location. And now they’ve opened up a new location 5 minutes away in Massapequa Park! I could not be more excited!

As soon as I walked in they loved up my pooch, I mean they got right on the floor with her to pet her. She came home happy, smelling great and looking amazing. Definitely bringing her back!!!!

The place was really nice and clean…(Massapequa branch)my pup was quite matted but they did a good job …haven’t tried the self wash but it looks good and user/back friendly 😊

I called over here ( to their Massapequa location) they took me next day.Angela, the groomer did a great job with Brodie, my 3 yr old Mini BernedoodleThe young lady at the desk,( sorry I don’t know her name) did a great job in get the grooming details from the Woodbury location in preparation for Brodie’s appointment.I’m very happy with the service, care and personalized treatment!

Today I was Boned Bath and Beyond and I really like the experience. Staff is friendly and very helpful. I did a self wash and will come back again.

I would avoid this place at all costs. My dog went in for a grooming and left injured and unable to walk without pain, without any explanation from the groomer. We’ve incurred numerous vet bills from this and the owner or manager hasn’t returned our calls. We’ve been going here since they opened, but the staff has changed as of late and they do not seem to know what they’re doing.

Used the self wash service! The entire shop is very clean! They provide everything you need and they are extremely helpful! I will return..
