Remi & Winnie just love The Barkery Grooming Salon and couldn’t be happier. Hollis is incredibly friendly and make them feel comfortable from the moment they walk-in. The grooming was top-notch—their coat looks fabulous and both are so happy! The salon was clean and welcoming, and the whole process was smooth and professional. We have been taking our dog Cass to get groomed here once a month for about a year now ! Our dog is extremely nervous around people and hates going in the car, but Hollis made her feel comfortable and safe each and every appointment. 10/10 highly recommend her as a groomer and wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pet !

Posting on behalf of my mother - Christine R. Her dog Toby was seen by Hollis 2 weeks ago, and it was a literal disaster.1st pic is of the groom that was requested. 2nd picture is of Toby before3rd Picture is Toby after his scalping.My mother dropped him off for a full groom and all that was done was a poor buzz job that my mother could have done herself for FREE. She asked for a puppy cut for her 8lbs terrier mix. A picture was shown and Hollis said, Ya I can do that. 45 minutes after drop off Hollis advised Toby was ready for pick up. My mother was absolutely shocked that not only was her request NOT honored but he wasnt even bathed!Im sorry but if someone is giving you business and youre too busy to do as asked, then DO NOT schedule them or tell them you arent taking on new clients. These dogs are your walking billboard and your reputation.Needless to say, Toby will never be back and hoping Hollis herself sees this and corrects her work ethic before her business goes belly up.

Disappointed. I brought my medium sized (50 pound) 7-year-old straight haired dog for a bath, blow dry, and nails, which they said would be $70. She called me 10 minutes after I dropped my dog off to tell me that while my dog had done well with nails and bath, she was too anxious for the blow dryer and would have to go home wet. I asked if there were any alternatives, and she said no because the dog was afraid of the blow dryer and the nail grinder. I came right back as instructed and picked her up. I was given a five dollar discount to get a soaking wet dog whose nails had been clipped, but not much. So in total, I paid $65 for 10 minutes of work, and had to put a soaking wet dog in my car and house. She shook like crazy as soon as she got in the car, and again once at home. On an hourly basis that works out to $390 an hour for terrible service. I won’t be back.

Hollis has been taking great care of our golden retriever for 2+ years. We are always very happy with the results.
