I have a little 5lb fragile yorkie with patella issues. Joannie the owner is the kindest person youd ever meet. She loves all animals and truly will do whats best for your dog. Maria is Teddys groomer and she has him looking handsome everytime. We have been going here now for 3 years and we havent ever had any issues with our pup being hurt. When we first started his nails were too long (bc he is so sensitive about it being cut) so Joannie advised that we bring him in every 2 weeks to get him used to it and for it to hurt him less as shed cut a little bit at a time. She wasnt going to charge for going that extra mile bc Joannie understood our puppys discomfort and she wasnt going to push him. Our only ask of any groomer is he stays safe and this place ensures that 1000000%

Joanie is the best, she been taking care of my Cleo for years! and I couldnt be more pleased with the experience! My dog is always calm and happy throughout the entire process. The grooming itself is always top-notch—my dog came out looking fresh, clean, and beautifully groomed. They paid great attention to detail, and it was clear they genuinely care about the well-being of the pets they work with. The facility is clean and well-organized, and I appreciated the extra touches like the adorable bandana they gave our dog as a finishing touch. I love When My Baby Boy comes from this Grooming salon. He looks and Smells so delicious. The price is great. They show love to my pet as if it were their own. I truly Appreciate the service from This grooming salon.

Just be very careful when picking up your dog after grooming. Check for any cuts or bleeding specially on the chest area. You will not regret it by checking. My dog will never go back there. I feel so sad for my dog . Thats all what i have to say.

I bring my Toby there. The owner Joanie and her groomers are so wonderful and really care about your babys. They do an excellent job and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them.

Great place. After trying out so many different groomers, I’ve never found one that does my Pomeranians haircut quite as well this one. Whether I ask for a toy cut or a lion cut, my Pom always look fabulous. I really recommend this place to all pet owners they treat your dog great and their prices are very good too.

Joanie is the best....I have been going here for years. I would never take my dog Shea anywhere else. She treats every dog like their her own....my dog adores her and she adores him.......and we adore Joanie......love her to pieces.....she is the best in Queens.........if your dog needs a haircut, take her to Sophie & Teddys on Dry Harbor Road.......taking them anywhere else is just UNACCEPTABLE......

Kind of difficult to get an appointment sometimes, you need to give them advanced notice. But this place is awesome. My dog loves it here, as soon as we pull up to the store front his tail is wagging like crazy! They do an amazing job and the prices are super reasonable. Love you Joanie!

I have never been able to find a place that does my Willies hair anywhere close to this one. I live kind of far so Ive tried a few places closer to me to try and save travel time. Every single time I end up right back here. The groomers are amazing and truly care about my Willie. Joanie the owner is just as amazing. She loves the dogs and is also super nice. They book up quickly, but that just goes to show how amazing they are at what they do. Thanks for making sure Willie always looks good!!

I take my min schnauzer, Rosie, here every couple months and Im never disappointed. Professional, friendly and loving toward the pooches. Any of the rare times the groomers sees the dog has anxiety or trouble cutting the hair in a certain way, they call me before anything to make sure its OK to continue the way I want it and never want the dog to feel uncomfortable. Highly recommend this wonderful place. 😃

I have a 10 month old puppy (Aust Shep / Lab mix). He is a very nervous dog and went to Sophie & Teddys for his first time at a professional groomer. They explained that the blowers scared him so they took turns drying him by hand - not an easy process Im sure but Joanie, still smiled and pat him and even gave him a treat to try to make him feel more at ease. I will surely be going back. Not only did Nash smell amazing - he looked more adorable than usual. I havent gone to anyone else to compare prices but they seemed very reasonable to me and the feeling I got from them was a very good one. Trusted my gut and they proved me right. They had many spots booked but I was able to get an appt for the following day. Great local spot.

Joanie and Hector are caring and so accommodating to my work schedule. I only trust them with Caramels nails, my lil old Chihuahua, so I keep going back. I would recommend this salon to other pet lovers. Thank you for all you do! 😀

Professional. The place is clean and smells nice. Located near the park. If you need to wait and dont want to leave your dog in the shop, you can take a walk in the park, which i feel is great!Did a good job at grooming my baby. Charged (comparing the work and other places) decent. The owner lady is great! Very nice, professional, loves dogs. Dogs can hang out in the waiting area (it depends on the dogs behavior), which is amazing, especially that my baby was never intodused to the cage ...You need to give the detailes about the geooming though. Can miss a few things here and there (didnt clean the ears), but i hope they will next tine :)

Very small space in front! Did not like my dogs cuts plus one had a few niks on her from the shears I think. Very nice owner though, the cuts were choppy.
