Millwood Animal Hospital

Fantastic first experience here recently. Why have I been going anywhere else! Logistics were quick and easy, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and my dog got a complimentary nail trim, to boot. Very pleased with this animal hospital and will return.

I’ve been bringing my cats here for a few years now, and every time I arrive, everyone is so sweet and helpful with anything that I need. They help me to take care of my elderly cat, as well as my newest family members and are always so accommodating and kind. I adopted my sweet girl, Luna, from here and have recommended this establishment to many friends and family. Thank you so much for everything!

Millwood animal hospital almost killed my family cat. My cat has diabetes and we went back to get insulin needles and they basically just said “no”. Something about how a head vet wasn’t in. Turns out she was in DKA and we now have to pay a 10,000 dollar medical bill at an actually capable animal hospital, and they themselves mentioned the sheer negligence. You do NOT withhold insulin from an animal. Dont bring your animals here.

Needed nails clipped before a family trip that of course included our 2nd son (17.5 yr old Jack Russell)The office provided same day 5 minute appointment. 2nd son, AKA Old Man Snowy was in & out before he had time to process anything! Nails clipped, family including Old Man Snowy all very happy.Thank you!

Attentive care and easy to work with. They took great care of nursing my senior pup through her illness. Friendly reception staff with a calm environment.

First I want to thank doctor Tubbs for taking us in last minute , I know you guys were about to close. I took my dachshund today as an emergency because he hurt his leg and wasn’t able to stand on it , Doctor Tubbs and his assistant were so nice , caring and gentle to my dog Riley , honestly doctor Tubb has magical hands I don’t know what went on inside the examination room but my dog was walking again within 15 min from leaving the hospital. Thank you so much !! You guys are the best!!!

Very nice staff. They made our dog feel very comfortable and that’s three quarters of the battle. The facility is very clean and welcoming to dog and owners.

I am a “doggie grandma” who wanted reassurance about our daughter’s newly adopted dog (a foster-to-adopt terrier mix who had just become part of the family.) Dr. Goldman quickly analyzed health concerns and gave helpful advice (and she didn’t mind repeating herself to the dog’s actual owners by phone during the appointment either.) Very warm and kind treatment!

She presented all the options and made me a part of the decision making process. I have zero knowledge with cats as this is my first time to have a pet. Her team made me feel comfortable and made sure my questions were addressed. They were very friendly, warm, kind and nice. The total bill was very reasonable, not overcharged. The hospital was well maintained, clean and spacious. I had a great experience and would highly recommend Millwood Animal Hospital to my friends. More power to you guys!

Time and time again, Millwood Animal Hospital has shown nothing but exceptional care. I grew up with 3 dogs and They have saved all of our dogs at some point in their life with emergency surgeries. 2 have passed away but even our new pup who recently had an accident was treated right away and after following Dr. Tubbs orders, he’s back to his normal self. They are reliable, and knowledgeable, and explain everything so easily. They take you in especially when it’s in emergency, and it’s so convenient they have their own pharmacy and don’t have to make any additional stops.

Very professional all the way around. Caring polite staff. Doctors are high level but down to earth.

I am extremely disappointed- to the point that we changed vets. We have been going there for 8 years and when we had an emergency with our cat they were1- not compassionate- and after deeming that our cat was fine (he isnt and is undergoing further testing at another vet) they gave him the rabies shot without consulting me2- extremely unprofessional- we had one follow up question and they told us we had to book another appt and bring the cat in (we had just spent 900$ at the appt and had one question)3-rude when we called to explain that we were disappointed in the service after years of going there - and no one even called us back to apologize (after we were told the vet would)Totally disappointed- we have since changed vets, and are so grateful we did. This place has completely gone downhill- would not recommend

Our family, furry and otherwise, love the Vets and staff of Millwood Animal Hospital. They are kind, compassionate, and very, very knowledgeable .

Always happy with Dr.Tubbs and his staff. Theyve taken care of 3 of my dogs in the past and some of my neighbors go there also. We all like them or we wouldnt go there. We love our pets and feel like they do too

We adopted a rescue dog from them to go along with the one we already had. The staff and both Vets are extremely warm and caring. We now are going to use them for both our dogs. The boarding there is great since the dogs have freedom to be outside to play. We dont live that close but it is worth the trip!

When you have very old and sick dog and they tell you “if he gets worse or anything happens- call us! We’ll see him, we are here for you”- in reality: “we can see you in 2 days! You can go somewhere else”They were ok before…

Millwood is wonderful. Their staff is always very friendly, the doctors are patient and pay full attention to your animal while theyre in the room, and they often have availability within a day of your call. I trust them with my animals and appreciate the care I see them give to all pets.

I was in a bit of an emergency and was able to get an appointment within the next hour. I called so many other vets and none of them were able to, but this one was a godsend. Everyone there was really sweet and the vet herself seemed very knowledgeable and caring. Kitty is back to his normal self now. :)

The animal hospital is very detail oriented and they are really kind with your pets, they can help you with any kind of problem you might have with your pet. Most important you can tell they really love their jobs! Animals can tell and that is why you see them coming in and out happily. If you go on a holiday they can take care of your pet which is very convenient.

We are so fortunate to have Millwood animal hospital as our dogs caretakers. Our 14 year old Golden, Emma The Dog has been struggling with kidney problems for a while. the doctors took her in to get her on IV fluids and they got her kidney numbers to normal range and she is a happy old girl. Bottom line, they are experts, treat us and our dogs right, explain things fully and partner to make care easy. In our minds its like having relatives in the animal hospital business. We love them!!

Just a wonderful practice. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and they can always fit you in if you need to come on short notice. For after-hours emergencies, their call service will patch you through to the on-call vet’s home/cell phone no matter what time it is. Highly recommended.

This post is in response to the administrations response to my original post.Giving me the hours that were staff was there does not change the fact that my dogs were not fed the food I provided.As I stated in my original post all of the food that I provided came back with the dogs. When I ask about that fact I was told by the staff that they fed my dogs the food I provided. I was told by the staff that they don’t provide food to their boarding dogs it must come from the owner. If that is the case, then you did not feed my dogs.I dropped them off on Friday at about 5:30 PM and picked them up Sunday at about the same time. They had been fed at home on Friday, they were not Fed at your business on Saturday nor were they fed on Sunday before we picked them up. You can tell me that you reviewed the security tape but you’re lying when you say they were fed according to protocol. Because protocol does not include feeding a dog invisible food!

I really like this vet office. They treat my elderly dog very well. I live in the city now and still drive up here because of how much better they are than the other vets in the area.

Such a nice and friendly practice. They squeezed me in for a last minute appointment, but took the time to listen to my concerns. Definitely recommend them to treat your beloved pet.

I took my 12 year old dog Maxx there today. I did not catch the Drs. Name but he was excellent, caring, and fair. Most vets in the area try to overcharge or sometimes push surgery or other expensive treatments. Millwood vet is the opposite. The dr was caring and very freidnly. I had thought that a growth had to be removed and bopsied. However, the vet told me to just get some of the counter spray for Maxx and not to worry. This was a relief and I am glad I have an honest reliable vet to goto.

Probably the best group of folks I have worked with regarding my dogs. Always thoughtful and responsive. They provide trustful suggestions and do their best to guide you through the long term health of your companion.

Dr. Tubbs has given our two dogs excellent care. One of our Shih Tsus was diagnosed with congestive heart failure last year and he put her on a medication regiment that has kept her remarkable active and spry. Dr. Tubbs is also very kind and responsive in the case of emergencies. We highly recommend him!

Although we had to out our pet down today, the vet and staff were exceptional and compassionate. I could not have asked for better people to help us with this tough decision.

I had a sick cat my regular vet could not see them but told me it was important that the cat get seen I called around and I came across Millwood animal hospital it was 2:35 Millwood hospital was understanding and told me to bring the cat down for 3:00 20 minutes later I was there great service and Ive now picked them to be my number one provider of veterinary care for my new kittens .

Just moved to the area and Millwood Animal Hospital made my transition very easy. They are always courteous, very knowledgeable and their prices are fair. I highly recommend.

I have to say my family and I are very sad for the fact that Millwood Animal Hospital never acknowledged any type of compassion for the loss of our dog no one express how sorry they were we didn’t even receive a card from the staff and we’ve been with them for years Very sad way to do business would not recommend to anyone

Was told to have a test done and then after, the results were never used for a treatment. Money thrown away for no help in the situation. After disputing the charge, I was fired as a client. Disgraceful!!!!!!!!

We continue to be impressed and comforted by Dr. Goldman, Dr. Tubbs, and the entire staff at Millwood Animal Hospital! They are kind, compassionate, helpful, and understanding. We have never had a problem getting our dogs in on a moment’s notice when something happened, and they’re so caring and always follow up with us, too. The techs and front desk staff are all wonderful, too. We are pretty experienced dog owners and completely trust this vet with anything and everything!
