Petco Grooming

Yesterday was POOH SHIESTYS 1st experience getting groomed outside of his home. We were indecisive if we should cut his long hair or not. Poohs groomer was Conner.W.. he explained everything from texture to change in hair colors once Poohs hair is cut. From the moment Connor took Pooh into his arms, I felt ok with the situation. Connor made Pooh feel so comfortable.. he rubbed Pooh while he went through the rest of the service with me ( he didnt just scoop my baby up and leave).Connor let me know it should take and 2/2.5 hrs and if Pooh was in any distress, hed call me. 2.5 hrs later.. he got Pooh together for the holidays.. hair cut and smelling like a GINGERBREAD COOKIE! I felt somewhat satisfied with my visit. After I left I found 4 pumps/bites on my dog that wasn’t found during the exam. I also asked for them to do blood work since he has been feeling under the weather but it also wasn’t done. The people are extremely nice and welcoming. I was just not satisfied with the visit.

The groomer is the best and friendly person with my dog and his service is great and professional and I know her from two years taking care of my dog and I prefer her when I book the appointment for my dog grooming. She is the best

It was my first time having a pet groomed. Everything went super well. The groomers were so understanding and helpful. The customer care on the store side was wonderful as well.

The groomers are very rude and unprofessional. My dog is a very calm and happy pup. She is described by them as aggressive and thats far from truth. I feel they use this language to justify how terrible her cut came out. They also did not brush her teeth (which I paid for) and did not pluck her ears which is standard care for a doodle. I will not be bringing my dog back to Petco in Mount Vernon They do a terrible job with dogs with actual hair. Catherine was the groomer and was created a very negative experience for us and our dog.

Easy drop off and pickup fast grooming love the fact that we didnt have to wait 4 or 5 hours, my dog was groomed really nice and smelled wonderful the groomer did and amazing job

Nipsey is always well groomed and taken care of reflecting that in his behavior when he comes home. The staff is friendly and attentive.

Terrible experience from this grooming location. I was denied service because they thought my dog was injured but my dog was fine. As she returned my dog to me, my dog was running around without any issue.

As always, Conner is very kind to my dog Bella and he does a great job cutting her nails

The groomer Denise doesn’t have very good customer service skills, but was very good with my dog which I appreciate. She was very informative as it was my first time bringing my pet there and didnt know the way it worked. Definitely would have been five stars if I didn’t have to wait until someone noticed me to check my pet in and pick them up. Also if Denise would’ve said something as simple as HI! Instead of not acknowledging me until she was ready to ask for the pets name. Dog is groomed nicely, so three stars.

It was all about my pets stylist Jasmine. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable and had a genuine love of animals. I honestly had recently become a dog mom and intended to try several groomers before deciding on one. Last month I took our Lychee to pet Smart. But after working with our stylist I will stick with Petco as long as she is there.

Connor is such a great friendly groomer. He knows my dog and call her by her name. Their service is outstanding!!!!

I would never take my puppy back or recommend this to anyone. They barely did anything and my puppy’s ears were still super dirty. Worst experience ever

Wally is the best groomer I have ever had for my dog. He gives a great cut and is very gentle with the dogs. You can see he enjoys his job. He is the most pleasant groomer.

This is the best Petco location in Westchester. They are top notch.

Groomer was very corteous and patient. Buddy looked great and clean. Grooming was fast and neat. She provided me with a quick appointment since he is attending a birthday party.

The grooming staff are phenomenal.Darlin goes out her way to make sure my dog is well taken care of.I like how she follows up with me about my pup.
