The best of the best! I recently utilized Amaroks 4-session training package for my Australian Cattle Dog to address leash reactivity and jumping on people. Tyler and Sarah were exceptional, and I noticed significant improvements very quickly. Their extensive knowledge and experience with various dog behaviors was immediately evident, and their customized training approach suited our needs perfectly. They helped simplify steps and commands, which greatly increased my confidence in managing different situations with high success. The training was very affordable and undoubtedly the one of best investments Ive made. Weve also used their boarding service in the past and will continue to do so in the future. 10/10 highly recommend Amarok Kennels for training and boarding.

Weve used this kennel a few times now over the last two years and I cant think of a bad thing to say about them. We needed a place to board our dog while we went camping, but she requires strict medication, shes missing a leg, and she prefers people over other animals, so naturally we were worried about how shed be cared for. After searching around, we found Amarok - a little out of our way, but it was totally worth it! The rates are fair, the location is nice, the pick up and drop off are easy, theyre flexible, and understanding. Oh...and they always take great care of our Sheba! 🐕‍🦺 Would definitely recommend and will be continuing to use in the future!

I was picking up my brothers dogs for him when I was going here. Even though we have places closer to us, the reviews arent the best. And knowing mybrother, hell drive to where he gets top care for his beloved fur babies!! I work close in the area, and it was very easy for me to pick them up. It was a pretty drive out there. The hills were very steep. I met with Tyler, who seemed very pleasant & he first walked out the big boy Bennie all 115 lbs. He handled him like a champ!! I wish I had more photos of his place, but my phone decided to act up on me. From what I could see, there was a huge fence in area where they had plenty of room to run around. His land was well kept. I was only able to get these photos when leaving his property!! I couldnt get any more as I had two anxious babies with me! 🐕🐕

Sarah and Tyler have a wealth of knowledge about any questions we might have regarding our dog. Even with his high energy, they always welcome him with enthusiasm. When we pick him up, its clear that he has had a great time! We are very happy to have found their services, as we no longer feel anxious when we travel, knowing that our dog is in great hands.

This place is top notch for boarding and training. Our 2 golden retrievers spent 10 nights with Sarah and Tyler and they came home happy and with no concerns. We completely trust them with our 2 boys and recommend them to anyone seeking boarding/training. We have tried several other kennels that only caused stress on us and our dogs. Not here! They are compassionate, knowledgeable and will care for you dogs like their own. When I asked for an update on my boys, this is the response I received! So comforting to be able to trust Amarok with our dogs when we are away.

If you’re looking for someone to help take care of your dog in any capacity I can’t recommend Amarok Kennels enough.We started working with Tyler when our 6 year old German Shepard had ran out the door and attacked a neighbors dog and had multiple instances of nipping at peoples hands, barking and in general acting aggressively.All I can say is WOW.After a few 1 on 1 in home sessions we had the tools to help him relax and become the calm sweet dog he was all along.So much so we really tested this and ended up adopting a kitten, Tyler came and supervised introductions and coached us on how to proceed, it’s been 2 weeks and he has no reaction to the kitten anymore.I feel like I get to love him so much more and enjoy my time with him now that I can understand and manage his behavior.Amarok gave me my boy back ❤️We are excited to have them board him in a few months for a vacation we’re taking.Now that I found them, I’ll never trust my boy with anyone else.

I highly recommend Sarah and Tylers board and train program. We had 2 six month old Pomskies that we had complete the 2 week board and train program. This was the first time that we ever needed to seek care for our puppies as we were new dog owners. Sarah and Tyler were extremely knowledgeable and professional. It was an incredible difference of behaviors with each puppy. We were at ease to know that our dogs were well cared for and integrated in their home while we were gone. It was great to see photos and videos of their progress while away as well. Wonderful program!

Beauford loves staying at Amarok! We are so thankful to have found them. Knowing our Dane is with them makes having to leave him so much easier. Thank you for all that you do to love our boy while we are apart! We drive over an hour out of our way to have him stay here. There are definitely closer boarding places but none like Amarok. They 100% treat your dog as their own in your absensence. Thank you Amarok for being so outstanding!

I brought my 2 year old female maltypoo to Amorak Kennels in December 2023 after several phone conversations with Tyler. He explained his plan of care for Ginger and I felt that this training and boarding facility was going to do their best to help me with Ginger. After meeting with them personally I knew they indeed were well qualified and willing to help. I was experiencing several anxiety issues and behavioural issues with her. It didn’t take long for Tyler to realize that her behaviour was due to us treating her like a baby not a dog she was spoiled and was constantly coddled and spoiled which caused her to feel timid etcTo make a long story short it turned out wonderfully she was a different happier dog when we picked her up after 3 weeksThey kept me informed and sent photos and videos of her progression. I can’t tell u enuf how wonderful it is to have her under control she is happier and so are we.Tyler and his wife and assistants were so pleasant and professional. Very knowledgeable and educated. He seems to love his job and working with dogs and it shows!Please don’t hesitate to consider this facility you will b happy you did. I am so impressed with this experience and will recommend them without reservation.

My puppy, Chip, is a golden retriever. We had several behaviors we wanted to work on for him. Jumping, nipping, leash pulling and overall just being better with our cats. They laid a great foundation for us to continue training him in the week board-and-train that we signed him up for! With knowing the right commands and specific words that they taught us, it has been so much easier for us on a day-to-day basis! They are so sweet and passionate about what they do! He is getting to be so much better around our cats and other people. I think it’s important to train your dog or get professional training! He is growing to be the best pup.

We love this place! Sarah and Tyler are fantastic! We have a rescue dog that had to go stay in first couple of weeks of owning him, and they took such good care of him. They sent us pictures and made us feel so good about leaving him. We are so grateful! Im sure Gunner is looking forward to coming back soon!

Im very confident with Amarok Kennels in training my husbands dog. Hes a very cute pup and hes close to me as well. Im happy that hell get the training he deserves here because they say that it also stimulates their mental condition. When we visited the place, we are very contented in seeing how they treat other dogs. Highly recommended!

We sent our 2 year old Belgian Malinois to Sarah and Tyler for a 2 week board and train and could not be happier! She is so much better behaved than when we dropped her off especially with her jumping, leash walking, recall and place commands. They were quick to respond to our questions and give frequent updates as to how she was doing. They also took the time with us to make sure we knew how to reinforce that training at home. 10/10 would recommend them for training and boarding!

I dropped off my rescued, 85 lb. mastiff mix, Pluto, for a 2 week board and train at Amarok Kennels hoping they could help with his pulling, jumping, chewing, and aggressive tendencies towards pedestrians/strangers. Sarah and Tyler worked with him diligently during his time at Amarok. I was taken off my feet by Pluto several times before they trained him.When he was at Amarok we received several updates on his progress, which helped put me at ease.We picked him up and immediately were put to the test because we had home maintenance being completed. Pluto went from a dog would bark and lunge towards strangers to one that was “Place”d without someone holding is leash in 2 weeks! It’s practically a night and day difference. I’m so grateful we found Amarok and am proud to say they are good at their craft and love your dog like their own. I’ll definitely be taking Pluto back to Amarok for any boarding needs and will continue his training with hourly sessions, too.

We brought our two golden retrievers to Amarok Kennels B&T program for help with resource guarding, food aggression, and general training. We’ve tried countless trainers in the past with no success... until we found Amarok Kennels. We couldn’t be happier with the work that Sarah and Tyler have done. They spent the time to get to know our situation and taught us ways to work with them at home and you can really tell that they are passionate about what they do and love animals. My husband and I can now have a piece of mind having our dogs around our toddler and guests. I’d recommend these guys to anyone. Thanks again Sarah and Tyler!

We have left our two golden doodles here twice. We have loved the easy communication with drop off and pick up. They usually will send you pictures or videos while the pups are enjoying their stay. Highly recommend it. We travel an hour to drop them off and pick them up.

To anyone thinking of bring there dog here please read the contract and understand it. I brought my dog Thor who is a good boy just needed help walking on a leash and jumping. Like most people I use Google and Facebook to look at reviews. I saw 5 stars and thought this was the place. My dog had a soresto collar on. When he arrived home he was acting different and not eating and only drinking. I asked Tyler what happened to his collar he said he could of lost it while training. I thought it could of been possible but why is Thor acting like this since he loves his food. I gave Thor 84 cups of food since we feed him 6 cups a day. His container had a little less than half which was strange so I asked him. He said they gave him 4 cups a day and lots of treats. Well today while Thor was pooping he made a loud yelp and I looked in his stool and found his buckle from his soresto collar. My fiance signed the contract while I was talking to Tyler which I never read. In the contract it states if anything including death in their care they are not responsible. I would of never signed the contract. I just want other to know what the outcome can be and yes I understand things happen but to me this is a big deal.

I always board my dog whinny here when I go out of town! She loves being there. And I feel so comfortable and confident that my dog is being taken care of and loved just like she is at home! If you’re looking to board your dog here 10/10 recommend.

We left our beagle at Amarok Kennels for boarding for a week…. We had never been away from her longer than two days. We knew she would be well cared for, they were recommended by friends. Communication prior to drop off, during her stay and at pick up was awesome. We even got a picture of her during a fall photo shoot! She seems happy to be home but seems like she had a good stay. Definitely will recommend and will return in the future. Thanks for taking care of our girl!!

I had the pleasure of meeting both Tyler and Sarah today. Our 7 month old Tiffany is in need of some obedience training and I immediately knew we were in great hands. They took the time to talk us through the process, observing Tiffany along the way. Within seconds Tiffy was focused on their guidance I was amazed! We are so excited about our sessions and highly recommend them. So down to earth and sweet! I’m grateful to have found them and know my fur baby is in great hands! ♥️🐶🐾

Our girl Birdie stayed over a week with Amarok and we are so glad we chose them! They kept us updated with the cutest pictures and made her feel right at home!

We dropped off our two dogs for an overnight boarding trial run recently and they both did great. We were apprehensive at first because neither dog has been boarded prior to this and we were not really sure what to expect of Amarok or the dogs. Sarah and Tyler provided us with great communication and a feeling of comfort that made us feel like the dogs were in good hands. We will be returning both dogs there for a week next month which will include some training for one of the dogs. We are looking forward to this and the results of the training as well. We know our dogs will be well cared for! Stay tuned for my next review!

Came highly recommended and I was really nervous leaving my boy there.They were amazing!! Great communication and the training was worth every cent! They even drove him home for training in our home!Plan on boarding in the future.Great value, service and training!

I have boarded our rescue, Daisy, twice with Sarah and Tyler, once for two nights and once for 7 nights. I provided home-cooked meals, kibble and treats, which makes feeding more time-consuming. They were more than happy to follow the special feeding instructions. Daisy was happy and returned home a tired pup. I would not hesitate to board her in the future and have recommended Amarok to several of my friends.

I have a 1.5 yr old golden doodle with lots of energy. I had to do something. He did 2 weeks with Amarok Kennels and what a difference !! He is still that playful lovable puppy but has a much calmer demeanor and listens! The staff was very informative and willing to assist with any concerns I had once he came home . During his stay it was nice to hear about his progress and a cute photo and videos . I strongly recommend!

We sent our dog for a one week board and train with Amarok Kennels. What an amazing transformation! Odin (our dog) was a very pushy, reactive, ball of energy. Now I can walk him on a leash. He knows place and didn’t jump on everyone when we got him home! I am so very grateful and plan to keep working with Amarok to further his training. They also trained me extensively so I know how to proceed with training him at home. Then they will come here for a follow up which is included in the board and train. I cant say enough great things about Amarok Kennels! We initially did a 2 week board and train for our dog, and have since done just boarding with them several times. Sarah and Tyler are kind and competent and Im always comfortable that our dog is in GREAT hands when she stays with them. They truly love what they do and it shows! Even our dog loves them!! Our Oliver is an Australian Labradoodle who is such a sweetheart but has a lot of anxiety and despite our hesitation to leave him for vacation Tyler and his crew felt confident that he would be fine in their care. Not only did our Oliver thrive in their care but he seemed bummed when we came to pick him up. We have used Amarok more than once and Oliver gets so excited as soon as we turn on to their road. We absolutely love Amarok Kennel and so does our pup, Lexi. We were worried about boarding her for 2 weeks, but Sarah and Tyler alleviated all of our worries and we felt immediately comfortable knowing Lexi was in good hands. They are knowledgeable, reliable, professional and friendly and took great care of her updating us regularly with messages and pictures. They even bathed her. She came home happy, healthy and clean! Weve used them twice already and are so thankful we found them.

The training I’ve done with Amarok Kennels has been such an awesome experience all around. Sarah is an excellent trainer who is great at breaking down steps to get you to understand how to teach your dog the behavior you’re looking for. I have taken classes at other local facilities and the value of the lessons that I’ve taken at Amarok is unsurpassed. Their professionalism and genuine desire for you and your dog to succeed are just two of the many reasons to choose them for training you and your dog.

We have a almost 4 year old German shepherd who thought could never be trained…boy were we wrong. When we found Tyler & Sarah & their staff we were amazed by the results after just a few sessions! They are so good at what they do & explain what they are doing…really a true blessing we found them!

Amarok Kennels are the best thing since slice bread, literally. We were having trouble with my Rowdy Rottweiler pup and they helped us maintain the beast!! I love their Day and Trains, they took our boy for the day and worked with him on behaviors I needed to crub as well as reinforce obedience. They also took the time to educate us and show us what they did and gave us the tools we needed to keep his focus. I recommend them to everyone I know that either has a growing puppy or a dog with behavior issues. We are so grateful to have found them, they are truly great people and appreciate everything they have done for us and our boy thus far!

We are the most overprotective dog parents ever and have a hard time leaving our dog Buddy with anyone. We felt comfortable leaving him and he came home happy!

Amazing experience! Did a short one night board and we will never go anywhere else! Kept us informed of how our pup was doing which made me feel so much better as it was her first time being boarded. Communicated before drop off of the entire process. Just such an easy and painless process!! Already have another stay booked for the summer!

I did the one week board and stay for my dog Otis. Otis had cat aggression to the point he could not be around cats at all without the fear he might kill them. Otis is now comfortable back home living with two cats. We are keeping up at home on his training and staying consistent with what we were taught. We were given great direction and instructions on how to continue Otis’s training at home. They updated us while he way away often & have checked in with us several times since Otis has been back home. We are eternally grateful for Otis’s time spent at Amarok training LLC. Some of the nicest people and so great at what they do!

After having some issues with walking my 80 lb German Shepherd on a leash and distractibility tendencies, Sarah reached out to me on Instagram and graciously offered to help. Sarah and Tyler are both very patient, calm, and collected while training. I love their positive reinforcement and client-centered approach to training. They make sure to always ask the client what they would like them to work on and always offer comprehensive feedback after sessions. They possess the knowledge and tools to effectively work with all different breeds, with special knowledge in German Shepherds. Both Sarah and Tyler are very personable and always willing to work with you and your pup without breaking the bank. I would recommend Amarok Kennels 100%!

We boarded our IrishSetter at Amarok for two weeks. We were a little apprehensive since she is 7 and we had never left her for that long before. Tyler and Sarah were very good with her. Emilia was well taken care off and was happy and healthy when we picked her up. We will definitely board her there again.

My two doggos stayed the weekend and they absolutely loved it! Can’t wait to bring them back in a few Weeks!

Loki is a 3 year old German Shepherd that I rescued when he was 9 months old. I basically spoiled him since I got him & let him do his own thing. Then, I knew the time had come where Loki needed to listen and know I am the leader and that’s when I turned to Amarok Kennels. I did my research first and after reading about Amarok Kennels I knew this is what I needed. These people are passionate and professional about what they do! They care that your dog is sound and you are happy with the results. Loki was signed for a two week train & board. After Loki adjusted after a day or so, he did his best to understand & please his trainers. Loki best reward is affection & not food/treat motivated; he likes mostly variety which I think is terrific! As the days went by pictures & movies of Loki were sent to me so I could see his progress. I surely missed him but seeing the movies I knew I had made the right decision! Then, the two weeks were up. I drove to pick him up (about an hour away), he was excited but reserved to see me as his trainer still had control. This was amazing! No matter how excited Loki was, he obeyed their commands! I’m so proud of my boy! I cannot thank Trish, Sarah & Tyler enough! I’m certain we will keep in touch as they were fond of Loki & truly want to make certain Loki stays on track! I’m so fortunate! Thank you!❤️

Id give them 10 stars if I could! My dog Sheldon spent the weekend with Sarah and Tyler. Came home exhausted and happy from playing so much!

Our 5 year old Rottweiler spent two weeks with Sarah & Tyler at Amarok Kennels in their Board & Train program (August 2022). We couldnt be more pleased with them and the fantastic work they did with our pup. Her ability to sit/lay and stay when company is over (and not jump), walk without pulling, and her recall skills are the best weve ever seen.Since she been home, Sarah & Tyler have checked in several times to see how shes doing. Brought my boy in for some training, he loves to pull and is easily distracted, they had him sitting in place and walking without pulling within 1 session, I had to put his training on hold for settling down in new house, but he will be going back for sure!

I took my puppy Layla there the past two days and she has learned so much Sarah and Tyler do such a great job and I highly recommend them to everybody looking to get there puppy trained!!

We brought our 7 month old yellow lab Thorin to Amarok Kennels for a two week Board and Train. He needed some guidance in his manners~ counter surfing, jumping on people, recall ( we have a large back yard and he wouldn’t come when called), not ripping our arms out when walking him. I could go on and on. These behaviors are no longer an issue. He goes right into his crate when he’s tired at bedtime as well. I can’t say enough about Amorak Kennels. They reviewed with my husband the different things they did when he picked him up. And commands. Very easy to communicate with and very, very patient!! I tell everyone about our experience!!!
