My experience with Musbro has been nothing short of extraordinary. Maverick my 11-month Shepky has been going there since July 8th. Musbro is the place I was looking for and finally found. The staff at Musbro has put up with my crazy dog mom questions before he started and made me feel at ease brining Maverick and transitioning him to a new place after a nasty experience at a previous place resulting in a vet visit and diagnosis with stress colitis. Nicole, and Brittany are the most welcoming every morning, I can recall day 2 they knew Maverick and greeted him. I said I don’t even care if they knew my name, but it meant the world they remembered his name by day two. Musbro is the place where I feel comfortable sending Maverick, because they treat the dogs as their own. Maverick is a bit spoiled; I mention that Maverick likes to eat around people, they accommodated that, Maverick has eaten with Gregg. The services and care Maverick has received has made this transition and socialization experience so easy and I even stopped calling every day! (That’s HUGE for me). Clearly Maverick cannot tell me he loves it but there are signs that show me such as, He literally greets Brittany or Nicole and jobs up on the counter, He gets a “Good Morning Maverick”,They are seriously wonderful with Maverick and his energy. I am so pleased and can’t thank them enough for taking Maverick and caring for him as I would when I am at work.

Our dog is very comfortable with the staff. I use the grooming services and have been very pleased. Emily does a great job. Appointments are very flexible. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Its worth the half hour drive. I highly recommend Musbro. I havent used the boarding services or day care yet, so I cant comment on that.

Love Musbro. Teddy is here for daycare 2-3 days every week. He cant wait to get there and is surely getting a ton of playtime everyday. Even when the weather is bad, hes still tired when I pick him up. Ive also had him groomed here. He looked great with his new haircut. The owners and their staff are so nice, professional and friendly and I know the staff gives my dog the attention he needs throughout the day. Its nice to do business with businesses like this.

We LOVE this place. The staff is amazing. Greg and his girls and the remainder of the staff are amazing. My dog LOVES this place. She runs in and jumps up to get her cookie and comes home exhausted. I feel comfortable boarding my Barkley with them and I have never had any concerns or attitude from anyone who works there. Not sure what this other lady is talking about - everyone is super friendly. Highly recommend this place.

Family owned and operated, full service center! They offer grooming, doggie day care and boarding! They care for your pet as you would and my dogs have always been happy to spend time there.

This place is awesome ! Rocky, our Aussie literally breaks the door to get in when we bring him there and he’s always super happy tired when we pick him up . See the photo below for proof 😅

They are the best. They have cared for and still care for my childhood dogs and now my own dog. They have a groomer and the cut is always perfect and the dogs come home smelling so clean. They are the only people I would use to watch my pups for anything.Not saying you should do this, please give the fine folks at Musbro nice notice, but they have never said no, nor have they ever turned us away, eve the day of. Superb and the most reliable.

Love this place. But not as much as my dog does.For those who have posted recently looking for perfect timing and everything to your liking, I wonder if you’re also the type that complains when the lines are too long in retail stores? My response to that is always ‘I’m sure they’re hiring’. If one needs a bougie grooming place with valet service on a silver platter, there are other locations (probably also the same places who board dogs yet leave them alone in a building from 7p to 6a).This family run business loves the animals that they keep, runs a great business, and silly ranting, inconsequential reviews hurt them. I can’t think of a better place to leave our dog for a day, weekend, or a long time away.

I love this place! My dog RUNS in every time we get there. The staff is loving to the dogs and are great at what they do. We love the doggy daycare, the boarding services and the grooming. They are so careful with my sweet lab.

Great doggy daycare spot. My puppy loves every day he gets to spend at Musbro, and the whole staff is incredibly friendly and kind. I can tell my pup is being well taken care of, and getting all sorts of playtime and love. Clean, no-frills establishment. Well priced. Have also had good grooming and boarding experiences, but mostly visit them for daycare.

Amazing experience using Musbro Kennels Ranch House for my puppies haircut! They did a phenomenal job both times Ive bought my pup there. I was searching for a new place to bring my puppy for his grooming for months, when I came upon Musbro I was extremely happy with how well they cut his hair & decided they were going to be my puppies new groomer indefinitely going forward. Their pricing is exceptional, compared to what Ive seen & paid in the past to groom my puppy & what made it even better, is that they did such a wonderful job for the low cost too. Great place!We have been going there for years with our dog Jax who tends to be hyper-excited and in the past gave us so much consternation because he seemed to always bite the groomer (our fault, not the groomer), but he is so calm with the team there. Very attentive staff who you know takes care of the dogs!Highly recommend and we plan to board him this Summer when we are on vacation.Thanks to the team there for taking care of Jax.

The team at musbro have been amazing the few times we have been there! Our puppy has been taken care of so well! Grooming! You can pick up your pup clean with clipped nails! Highly recommend them and plan to be a loyal customer.

The people who work here are great and all the dogs love them. The owner is a really cool guy and is very passionate about the animals and the services they provide. Best kennel in Rockland and Ive tried them all, only place I take my husky Omni and she loves it there and the staff. They also do an amazing job grooming and Omni is always happy afterwards. Only place I trust with my dog when I go away on vacation.

I bring my dog here to get groomed and they do a great job!

We have used Musbro Kennels to care for our dogs and cats since 2003. We have always been pleased with the excellent care our animals have received. The staff cares about our pets and their particular needs which I have always appreciated. Our pets have been in the care of Musbro for short and long stays over the course of many years and we have consistently felt that their treatment was kind and of a high standard.

I cannot speak more highly of Musbro Kennels or the employees....everyone is super nice. Our dog has been coming here since she was 14 weeks old, and loves the place. When we tell her we are taking her to Puppy Camp she starts wagging her tail a mile a minute and stands by the door and barks as if to say, come on lets go! They keep the kennels clean and they are VERY roomy. Your pet is not in a cage- but a room with a private run. Thank god for Greg and the staff at Musbro. Its nice to know when we go away, that Peace is well taken care of!

Our husky had an appointment to get a hair cut, and it was texted that they cut her hair short. when we went to pick her up we paid $178 and she came out completely shaven except her head, i’ve never seen a husky completely shaven. it’s known you shouldn’t shave husky’s entire coat as its crucial to regulate their body temperature. the owners were rude and blamed lack of communication when THEY were clearly told to CUT not shave. They also said lack of communication because my parents are deaf but it was communicated through text if there was a problem they could’ve called someone in the household that could hear. as a groomer you should double check before shaving this specific breed of a dog.

Great family run business and feel like my dogs become part of that family! Use for daycare and my dogs are so happy when they realize they are there-they drag me in! Flexible and affordable.

Weve taken our dog to Musbro for the last four years or so. We drop her off for doggy daycare at least one day a week, weve boarded her while were on vacations, and occasionally had her groomed....everytime, Musbro returns a happy and very tired puppy to us. Greg and his employees are very responsive. On one occassion, Greg extracted a very hard to get-at attached tick. 100% recommended.

Our dogs have been coming here for almost a decade. I can wholeheartedly recommend them as taking care of even your most difficult dog well. If you have more than one dog, Musboro will let them stay together to reduce any social shock. They get ample supervised outside play time. They really are the best of all the places I tried. Once I found Musboro, I stopped looking and just go there now.

The team at Musbro are all very kind, patient and personable. We have a 17 year old Lhasa Alpso who gets groomed here, they are gentle and do an amazing job. Lucy comes home so happy after her spa day. It is so nice to find a place we can trust! Thank you Musbro Kennels!

Great opportunity to socialize your dog. We send our 2 yr old pointer lab pit mix rescue 3 days a week. She can run and play outdoors with other dogs in a large fenced area with supervision and my husband and I get to go out for lunch.

Good place, terrible customer service! Having been a loyal customer and always recommending them over the years. An inquiry for boarding over teachers convention was met with very hostile and beyond disrespectful reaction over their family needing a vacation. After a very innocuous comment to that reaction I was hung up on. I was stunned! When I tried to call back, feeling there was obviously a misunderstanding, the phone was picked up and hung up. Message received, will no longer call…..

My dog is always happy to arrive at Musbro which is a great sign! He goes in wagging his tail and jumps up at the counter to say hi to the staff and he comes home tired, mushy, and ready to cuddle. My family has been boarding here for over 12 years with nothing but good things to say.

I wish I could give this place less than one star, but our dog was at least kept alive so theres that. Our dog stayed with Musbro for 2 weeks and when we picked her up she was seriously injured (they didnt even notice!), neglected, emaciated (we could feel every bone), shell shocked and terrified. It took 3 weeks for her injury to heal, a month before she gained weight back, and about a week before she started acting like herself again. We thought that with all the great reviews (my own family pets have come here for 20+ years) that shed be well taken care of, but this was the exact opposite of what happened.This was our dogs first (and only) time staying with Musbro, and we told them shes great with other dogs, well behaved, attends doggie daycare and has been boarded many times before without issue. They told us she would get lots of outdoor playtime with the other pups, and when we called to check in on her, they told us she was doing great and playing outside with the other dogs. Shes usually more shy and sticks closer to the humans, asking for belly rubs, so we thought this was a little odd but we didnt question them. When my boyfriend went to pick her up after we returned, he immediately noticed how skinny she looked and also that she was badly limping. The staff said nothing about an injury, claimed they never noticed anything, and when he examined her paw it was red, raw and missing patches of skin. They said it couldve been from the gravel, but this literally looked like she stepped in chemicals, and it was all on one paw so this theory made no sense. They also suggested that maybe she did it to herself (out of depression??) but there was no way she physically could have from that angle, plus shes never self-mutilated before- EVER. They paid for her to see the vet next door (as they should have) and she was given antibiotics, steroids and bandaged up in a cast. She couldnt walk on this paw for 3 weeks.During her pick up, my boyfriend received some other conflicting information from the staff, so I called to speak with the owner the next day to figure out what happened. He was extremely rude, defensive, condescending and spoke over me the ENTIRE conversation...I could barely speak or ask a question. I was not yelling or acting belligerent in any way (as I mentioned, my family has a longstanding relationship with them), I just wanted to calmly find out the facts. He told me that our dog was kept SEGREGATED from all of the other dogs the ENTIRE 2 WEEKS she was there because she was new and they didnt know how she would react to other dogs even though we explicitly told them she goes to daycare and boarding. He said everyone thinks they know their dog but dogs behave differently when the owners arent around and chewed my ear off about dogs who dont come in when called (and his people cant waste HOURS of their time trying to get them inside) and tear the place up... we would have been happy to provide references if we were told this was a concern!! Also wouldnt it make sense to try her for a few days and see how she behaves first hand, instead of subjecting her to jail for 2 WEEKS?? He said this is HIS business and HIS policy and HE can run it HOWEVER HE WANTS TO and that people think they can just GO AWAY and LEAVE their dogs and they want ALL of these things....I was shocked because A) this is what your business does!! and B) we asked for NO special treatment of any kind! Typical food, typical time outside with the rest of the dogs, no medications, no nothing. When I asked if any of the staff visited with her at all for belly rubs (since she was SEGREGATED FROM ALL OTHER CONTACT), he said this was a very busy time for them with SO MANY other dogs and his people dont have time for that. WHY would you take on more dogs than you can handle appropriately??? It makes total sense as to why they didnt notice her injury, because THEY NEVER SPENT TIME WITH HER OR LET HER OUT OF HER JAIL CELL. PS they still charged us the full $800 for her stay.

Really tacky of them to call out clients full legal name out here on reviews if they aren’t happy with the critique you have of them. Not a good luck. Everyone is entitled to an opinion whether it’s appreciated or not. Very unprofessional and a disgrace in my opinion how they conduct themselves. It’s a breach of client confidentiality to do that and could be subject to a lawsuit.

I have brought my dogs there every year for the past 5 years or so each summer. I have NEVER had any sort of problem with them. Ive even gone in the back because Im a paranoid mommy and the rooms they give to each dog are spacious and clean.

Great service with a caring staff. They really do an excellent job thinking about the animals they watch. Theyre thoughtful about which dogs interact with each other. They dont just let the dogs out in the backyard and hope for the best.

LOVE them. Family Run and really care about your pets. Greg and staff constantly working and keep kennels and grounds in top shape.

I love this place. They are wonderful to my toy poodle, have a great grooming service (unlike most they dont insist on shaving when my poodle gets matted) and have a great area for the dogs to run. Highly recommrnd.

Musbro is a second home to my furbaby, Bella. I swear by this place. They take great care of her and it always feels like family.. Greg, the owner, is papa Greg to Bella girl..forever grateful.

My first experience here and you can tell that the owner really loves his job and cares about the animals. That’s what 40+ years doing it looks like. We had a family issue and he was kind enough to come in at a time the facility was closed to meet our needs. I’ll be going back

Our dog goes to daycare at Musbro at least 2 times a week and he loves it. Greg and the staff are fantastic and go above and beyond all the time.

The owner is a complete hot head. If he treats humans this way, Im afraid of what he would do to our dogs. I walked right out and will kennel them with the vet. At least I can trust the vet wont fly off the handle. Such a shame.

Booked a weeks stay based on feedback. Went to check the place out and was treated horribly. The owner snapped at me and said I hate when you people dont call before you come! I apologized and walked out as he continued to mumble in anger. (Never to return) I would steer clear.

My dogs love it here! They dont look back when going in and dont want to get in the car when leaving. They get good exercise because they are tired boys when they get home!

I have used Musbro twice now to leave my dog overnight. The staff is friendly and professional. She gets excited when we go and came home very tired.

This place is stealing my deposit! I had to cancel a trip and this place will not refund a deposit I left for my dog in Aug. It is sad that a neighborhood place cannot refund a deposit for services not rendered. Beware of this place if your plans change they are not flexible and rude about it.
