Honeysuckle Labradors

Our Honeysuckle Lab, Sandy, is a puppy from the Lucy x Saint pairing born in Sept 2024. She is our third dog and first from this breeder. We cant say enough good things about her beauty, her temperament, and her intelligence. She fit into our family the minute we brought her home. The process to get her was easy and our vet was impressed with her health at her first visit. We have recommended Honesuckle Labs to several people and keep talking about getting a second puppy because she has been such a good girl.

Honeysuckle labs are the BEST labs! I am most definietly biased, but with great reason of course. I grew up with labs and finally got one of my own 3 years ago (as of Feb 2025). I got a sweet chocolate female that we named Bailey. While I knew I wanted a puppy that would hunt, blood track and find shed antlers - I was curious to see what training she would take to best. Bailey has taken to duck/goose hunting, blood tracking/game recovery, assisting in the attempt to find lost dogs and searching for shed antlers on a level I could have never imagined. I have seen working dogs before in the terms of german shepherds or malanois, but to see a lab so well bred and doing what is in their blood made my love for this breed even greater. Kelly is such a great breeder and I still keep in touch with her after 3 years. She puts her heart and soul into her dogs and truly cares about every single one she has. Bailey has had a gentle touch with children since she was even 5 months old. I mean, a kid was waving a donut in front of her nose and she didnt even try to sniff it. That temperment was due to her bloodline, it most definitely was not taught by me at that point. I have a second lab as well (as of Feb 2024) whos father is Magnar (owned by Kelly) and she is following suit of Bailey very well. She has an insane hunting drive and willingness to learn. Very kind hearted, playful but a snugglebug at the same time. Both dogs are focused and driven in the field and double as super calm/sweet greeters to my small business on a daily basis. If you are looking for a lab that is well bred, has good blood lines and a breeder that truly cares about her puppies - look no further. I can not say enough positive and wonderful things about Honeysuckle Labradors and Kelly. We lost our lab or 16 years and Kelly was so patient and kind while we asked our many questions about her dogs and program. We brought our new puppy home this week and he is absolutely the cutest!!! We were able to meet both of his parents as well as some of his litter mates. We also got to see where he spent his time while waiting for his new family (aka us) to arrive. Kelly was an absolute pleasure through the whole process. She is quite knowledgeable and very willing to share her experience and expertise. You can also tell that she does this for all the right reasons and genuinely cares about each and every puppy and family. We feel truly lucky.

We brought home our sweet puppy last Friday. She is a beautiful, smart little lady, with a wonderful personality. I can’t say enough positive things about Kelly and Honeysuckle Labs. We lost our 14 year old lab in January and were devastated. Kelly was patient as she answered my many questions. We met our pup’s parents and litter mates. Simply the Best! Kelly (Honeysuckle Labs)is knowledgeable and takes the time to make sure she adheres to all guidelines in her breeding program.
