I have been taking my dogs to For Pets Only for over 4 years now. Molly and her team are just the best. People stop me to ask where do I go for grooming because they always look so good! Highly recommend!

I highly recommend For Pets Only! The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They take great care of all dogs. I recently just brought my dog to them and they did an amazing job! They asked me how I wanted my dog to be cut and it came out perfect. I will definitely be bringing my dog back for his next hair cut and grooming appointment.

I have been taking my dog here for grooming ever since I moved to Oyster Bay, about 4 years now. My dog isn’t the most friendly but since day one they’ve worked with her and have somehow come to love her. 😂 I’ve had 3 kids since and have often forgot an appointment for the dog, and they have been very kind to work with me. I had to ask Molly and Val a favor not to long ago with an incident having to do with my dog and they did not hesitate to help when they didn’t have to. Thank you, ladies!

For Pets Only has transformed our dog from the most anxious dog to one that loves being groomed. The ladies are so nice and do their best to make sure the pups are well taken care of and comfortable. Theyve gotten us in same day on multiple occasions and are so friendly and reasonably priced. I so highly recommend them.

Molly is an artist. Each time she grooms our standard poodle he looks better and better. Passersby ask, Is he a show dog? and comment What a beautiful dog! The facility is very welcoming. I would not go anywhere else.

Yesterday 23Nov24 was our first trip to For Pets Only and Molly. Everything was perfect-our labradoodle needed the works and she came out the front door looking terrific. Molly is truly MDGA-making dogs great-AGAIN.🇺🇸🐾🐾

All the negative reviews are lies! These two groomers are amazing! They love your dog like their own I see it everyday I walk passed and bring my pup to visit! They do a phenomenal job!! So thankful for Molly and Val! 🩵🩵🩵🩵

Highly recommend! We had THE BEST experience here. Our Daisy girl was in desperate need of being groomed. They made her look fabulous, and reasonably priced. I loved the fact that she was running around when picked her up and not stuck in a cage. You could feel the love for dogs! Go check them out! ✨🐾🩵

We have been going to Molly at For Pets Only for many years. She’s taken care of all of our pets. She always does a great job and is very responsive.

Essentially, all of the reviews here are 100% accurate in terms of the temperament of the staff at this establishment. I have been a long time customer and took a break for a couple of years when my previous dog passed away. I brought my dog here a few times recently and it was fine. The employee that everyone is talking about with the pink/purple hair raved about my dog over and over and actually offered to watch him if I ever needed that. However, today was drastically different, I dropped my dog off and a couple of hours later had not heard from them so I called and left a message asking very politely if my dog was ready.I had been out doing errands all afternoon and was very close to the store so I swung by after I left the message. I tapped gently on the door and both Molly and the staff member who yells at everyone were gesturing at me to go away. I assumed that they did not recognize me with my sunglasses on, so I just stood there, waiting for them to realize that I am the owner of the dog sitting on the other side of the door staring at me. I noticed that my dog hadn’t been groomed yet and so waited for them to register that it was me and I expected them to just crack the door open and say “so sorry we are running behind” or “It has been super busy today and we are back logged” ,Instead they waited and waited and waited. The purple haired girl finally came to the door she was irate. She cracked the door open not even an inch (like I was there to do a home invasion or something) and told me to leave. “He’s not ready. He’s not ready. Why do you keep calling?!” (YELLING) (i only called once)I am a very mellow person and so I just shrugged it off and said to myself I guess someone’s having a bad day. I left to do one more errand and got the call that my dog was now ready. I said “great”, hung up the phone and drove right over. I knocked on the door and waited and waited. Of course, I was not going to attempt to even turn the door knob because they got so crazy the first time. I did not want to further annoy her so I just waited for her to open the door. when she finally did, I stepped in without saying a word. I knew this would be the last time I would go there and I would just leave quietly .I took my debit card out and she barked at me “cash or check only!!” So I reached into my wallet and took out money. I always tip, even though the owner is doing the work, but this time I was obviously not going to do that. I waited for my change and when she gave it to me, I turn to leave. She followed me to the door and started screaming at me that “this whole thing was my fault and I have a terrible attitude” (all the while she is eating food and spitting it out as she is yelling.)Not only disturbing but repulsive to see and hear.So long, Molly.It’s too bad because I really like to support a Small, local female – owned business.

We recently moved from Buffalo and are very lucky to live a short 5 minute drive from For Pets Only. Val and Molly are both so nice and accommodating. Prices are competitive and their grooming work is amazing. We have an 85lb Bernedoodle and he’s loves has monthly stop in’s. My mother with 3 dogs has recently started to use For Pets Only because of their amazing service!

Molly is one of the best in the industry! Always leaving our pup with the best cut and knows how to treat him and us like family. We appreciate and value your business in the area!!

Never in my life have I had an experience like this. I pulled up to park (to shop at a different store) and saw a municipal sign which outlined the parking rules. As I was getting my 3 small children out of the car, on a busy road, I hear a woman SCREAMING from this Pet establishment. What I could not see from my car was the fact that there was a smaller sign explaining the the front spots were for this pet store. This woman was having an manic outburst cursing at me and calling me an idiot for parking where I did not belong. I did not even have a chance to view the parking sign before she started to harass me. As soon as I saw the mentioned sign, I would have moved my car. Nonetheless, she screamed and cursed for 5 minutes, terrifying my children, before returning to her store and LOCKING the door. I cannot imagine what this woman was thinking.Even though this review is NOT a reflection of services, its a reflection of how someone does business. DISGUSTING. I will never bring my dog to this establishment. I will tell every single dog own I know (and meet on the street) about this place. A woman who clearly DOES NOT have children screaming and yelling at a mom trying to keep 3 kids (ages 1-6) SAFE on a busy road. Absolutely unacceptable and this woman should be ashamed of herself. But I fear, she feels nothing at all!

Would never take my dogs here on principle no matter how good this place is with pets. I am 8 months pregnant and parked in front of the store to take my toddler into his art class next door, genuinely not knowing I am not supposed to park there (bc they don’t own the street) and an irate woman with pink hair marched into the art class and yelled at me to move my car. She accused me of knowing that I shouldn’t be parking there when I had no idea. She totally over reacted and was extremely rude despite the fact that I was moving my car without question. Would never leave my pet in her care if that’s how she treats people.

For Pets Only is great! They truly showcase the love and warmth to the animals that visit this shop. Molly is an excellent groomer, leaving my dog with the most beautiful haircut. They have a big supply of pet products such as food, toys, treats, clothing and if you dont see the brand of food you want, they will special order it for you! Definitely worth the visit.

1st time there. They did such a wonderful job on my 3 dogs. Have not had good experiences other places, one of our dogs other places couldnt do. No problems here, very surprising. A good environment and great staff make the difference. Highly recommend!

Our Dog Yoda started going to For Pets Only last year for grooming and Molly & her assistant are wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about the care & excellent treatment they give to our pooch!

AVOID THIS PLACE! If I could give 0 stars I would. The disgustingly rude women that works there should not be able to work with dogs. They got upset with me because I asked them to make sure my dog is dry since one time they gave him back to me soaking wet. Then they tried to tell me how bad my dog is and I should know how bad he acts. He is the sweetest lab who doesn’t like the dryer. Why can’t you just use a towel. This is your job to work with dogs. If you don’t know how to handle them then you have no business working with dogs. If she is this rude to me and this mean to my dog I’m not even sure how they treat him in the back. My dog is my baby and I would never trust them with him again. If you care at all about your dog don’t let this women touch them.

Our pug was in need of an over due nail trim. Our vet is wonderful but could not fit us in. Booked solid. Called For Pets Only and Molly was a pleasure to deal with. She booked us for the following day! Nail trim took not more than 10 mins and we were out the door. We will be returning once a month for upkeep.

Just left For Pets Only and already scheduled our next apt! I have a 7 year old male Samoyed and not everyone is capable of grooming the breed but Molly did a fabulous job! Highly recommend!! They were welcoming, pleasant, quick and efficient!! 5 stars!!!
