Paws on Fifth is the only place we trust to care for our Charley! Not only do they do a great job of grooming but they love on her and treat her with the same care and love she receives at home. My dog is always happy and seems proud with her hairdo after a day at “Paws on Fifth”. We will not take her anywhere else! Our vet recommended this Groomer highly and I always recommend to others— highly! They do an amazing job and I feel that she is in great hands. I have been taking my dog( my baby) Nico here once a month for 5 years. They are very accommodating, always take excellent care of him and the price is definitely reasonable. He always comes out of there looking and smelling amazing! I am so happy I found them. They are stuck with us❤️

Erica and her staff at paws on fifth are the best! My two dogs get groomed here regularly and love her. The hair cuts are excellent and not only do my pups look so cute, they smell amazing!! We have had bad experiences at other places in the past, where my dogs would come home and they were scared and not quite themselves but NEVER when I pick them up from paws on fifth. Highly recommend!

I have been bringing my son and daughter-in-law’s yorkie, Mimi, to Paws on Fifth for many years now and the entire experience for Mimi (who has separation issues) is extremely positive. The staff is always very loving and friendly and Mimi is always excited to be there. The grooming is always perfect just as I want and they treat Mimi in a loving and gentle way. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my fur-babies. You can tell as soon as you walk in by the volume of work that they have and the care they take with each and everyone! They listen to what I like and if the rare occasion can’t achieve it because they are matted, they let me know immediately what to expect. I recently moved an hour away and still make the trip down to have Paws on Fifth take care of my babies! They are the best and my babies deserve nothing short of that!!

We had the BEST experience at Paws on Fifth! This was our little Daphne’s first time ever getting groomed! Erica was so kind and gentle with her! Our Daphne immediately felt comfortable with Erica the moment I handed her over. They were so quick and our puppy was in and out in a flash! She looked so beautiful when I went to pick her up I barely recognized her! We will definitely be regular customers!

Its a lengthy process, but worth a while. Friendly dog groomers. The dog groomer that took care of Fluffy absolutely did a wonderful job grooming my Fluffy. The prices are great compared to other places.

We have a very “challenging” dog when it comes to getting groomed. The staff here always does a great job handing him and are super friendly to humans too!

Wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else. They are the very best. Very accommodating. My dog never comes home nervous and is groomed impeccably. They also let you know if they see anything on your dog you should know about. My daughter takes her 3 lib maltese dog there as well and loves them. I was so nervous about getting my pup Kona groomed for the first time, but Paws on Fifth did such a tremendous job and she’s been going there ever since! I’m always very vague when describing how I want her cut and she still comes out perfect every time. The staff also always makes sure to ask me if I like the cut before we leave, which to me means they really do care about you and your pup. Highly recommend Paws on Fifth!!

Took my Labradoodle that was over due for a cut, at Paws on 5th last week, and they transformed her into little dog model. Very nice and friendly staff, took very good care of my dog. Did not give me a hard time at all, like previous places about waiting to long.She had such a good time there that she didnt want to leave. But right before leaving she made her rounds to all the groomers. We were very pleased.Reliable and reasonably priced,Highly recommend them without reservation. My poodles have been coming to Paws on Fifth for over 4 years! The owner and staff are kind, patient, and accommodating.I remember driving by a few years ago and I saw the owner hugging a doggo on her grooming table. That is the kind of place I want my pups at and its why Ive continued to bring them there and referred others.

My first time with this grooming salon. I wanted to give my longhair cat a lion cut for last 3 years but I was worried that it might stress her out too much. My boss highly recommended them so I decided to go there, after my cat suffered a heatstroke due to the hot weather. The appointment was flawless and it took so much less time than I anticipated. I could see that she was enjoying her new haircut - She is more confident when she walks around, eats more, plays more, and overall more comfortable. Thank you for giving my cat such an amazing lion cut, I will be returning again and again. 💕💕💕💕(3 year update - I have been going to Paws on Fifth every summer for a lion cut. Petco had my puppy for 5 hours and was unable to do his face because they said he was difficult (it was his first grooming). I tried making an appointment at Petsmart, but the appointment wasn’t until next month. I was looking up pet grooming near me and found Paws on Fifth and they had good reviews. Called in, had an appointment that day. I came in with my puppy and the groomer did my Toto face, nails and she went above and give him a nice shape up. All within 10 minutes. Thank you so much. I will definitely becoming back.

A pet that come in a bit scruffy comes out looking like a runner up for the Westminster Kennel Club.

I’ve been bringing my 90 lbs Berndoodle to Paws On 5th for the last three years. Most places don’t take standard size dogs and can cost a fortune for a haircut or just a shower. Paws On 5th not only has best price around but the staff are professionals and compassionate. We travel from the Bronx to Paws On 5th, because we always have a great experience. I highly recommend this dog groomer.

I bring my cat there all the time for his nails cut and they make me wait 45 minutes for something that takes literally a minute and a half every single time I’ve been in there for two years. The staff is not friendly maybe they just don’t want to deal with cats I don’t know, every time you walk in they tell you oh sorry you have to wait and the girl that does the nails has the personality of a wet mop and I always throw her a tip. I guess I’ll be looking for another place.

Im new at using a dog groomer. Weve got a year and a half old labradoodle and weve not been happy with our various groomers - till now. From the start, when I called for an appointment, the staff has been professional and supportive. When I brought our 65 pound puppy in, it was apparent that she was comfortable there. The results were superior - they followed my instructions and the dog looked fabulous. The price was competitive with others weve used, but the service was better. More grooming was done for the same $. Well be regulars going forward. Erica and her team earned their five star review.

My dog went for the first time today and he looks so amazing! The staff is great and are very sweet towards the animals. My dog is a Shih tzu mixed with a poodle so he is very prone to matting. As a first time dog mom, I can’t tell you what a relief this place was. Their service and attention to detail was top notch. I loved the cut initially, however with the recent heat wave, I realized her hair should’ve been a bit shorter.. Erica insisted we come back for adjustments and now my lil Honey looks like a show dog. I can’t rave about this place enough.

Terrible. The customer service is HORRIBLE, the shop is disgusting and dirty… I would never even drop off my trash here, let alone leave my dog here. Photos attached.Would stay far away from this place.

They always do an incredible job with our Mini-Goldendoode — even when she gets matted from snow or swimming! I have been bringing my maltipoo to Paws on 5th for the last 6 years. Even though we moved 40 minutes north 4 years ago, I make the drive down to Paws because of the great job that they do. I am very particular about my pups cuts, and Paws actually listens to what I want! They are pleasant with the dogs, and very reliable and efficient. Im always in a rush and they always do their best to work with my schedule. Theyve also gone out of their way to let me know if they notice any skin irritations or issues with my dog that I hadnt noticed because it was covered with hair, which is much appreciated. I highly recommend Paws on 5th! Book in advance though- they are always busy because they are wonderful!

Erica and her team are the best! She has been grooming my dogs for 12 years. We have had 5 dogs groomed at POF, and the newest prince and princess are there every few weeks. The team took extra care with one of our girls as she battled cancer and also with our puppy who had a bad leg. The pups come home adorable, sweet-smelling, and ready to snuggle.

When we decided to get a puppy I had no idea of all the decisions that needed to be made.The 2 most important decisions you need to make 1 pick a vet. Then pick a groomer.My pups are so important to me. I wanted a groomer to care for them. Be kind and skilled. Erica at Paws on 5th is just that. She gives me advice. She cares. Her staff is wonderful. My Molly is a handful, she is so scared. Erica says don’t worry we will do everything we can to make Molly comfortable. She does just that.Erica and her staff do all the grooming that should be done. There were so many things that Erica does in grooming that I had no idea she did. If she noticed that something was just not right with my pups, she advised. We realized that even more so when we go to Florida, I couldn’t find a groomer to care for my puppies like Erica does. I wish I could take Erica with me when I travel again. I’m sure my pups do too.Erica will be our friend for a long time. You will not be sorry. Your puppies will be happy.

We have gone to Paws on Fifth for over a decade. They take such good care of my dogs while they are there and of course my guys look so great when they come home!!! My youngest dog matts easily!!! Erika never has to shave her down the way other groomers do!!! They take their time and get the dogs combed out and de-matted without shaving to the skin! They take their time with each dog and do a wonderful job!!!!

Love this groomers! They run a tight ship and are busy but do a great job at managing it all with aplomb and have been super great with my anxious dog for years. My dog always comes back with a fabulous seasonal neck scarf and smells like a bed of roses! Highly recommended.

Paws on Fifth in Pelham did a phenomenal job grooming my babies. My Aussie is a bit timid and scared to death of the blow dryer so I was nervous but he did great, the groomers did great and I can actually pet the two of them and not have a handful of fur when doing so. This is BIG for double coated dogs. As someone who was having heart palpitations when leaving them, paws on fifth did so great making me feel comfortable, took a little extra time to warm my Aussie up to them and were not annoyed that I called a couple times to check up on them. Definitely a happy customer and highly recommend them.

I’ve been taking my pup since he was 8 months old and every time they give him really stylish and cute haircuts that are perfect for the kind of dog breed; I really appreciate this because I never know what to ask when it comes to dog hairstyles. Customer service is always excellent and highly professional; the owner knows us and often has made accommodations for emergencies. Really can’t say enough!!!!

Erica is amazing! The groomer whom I’ve been using for years told me he could not do my dog anymore because his groomer who has been doing difficult dogs left. I called around and no one wanted to see my dog until I called Paws on Fifth. Erica said bring him in and we’ll see how he does. She took him and I watched and he was good to my surprise. I left and felt a everything was going to be fine. When I picked him up she said he was fine. I am so happy with this place they are clean friendly and excellent.

I have 2 bichons & she’s been grooming them for years , always gives them that puppy cut I love & keeps them fluffy & full , they love her & so do I ! Erica and her team go above and beyond to not only accommodate appointment times but to accommodate your special situations! I have a very elderly dog as well as a dog with an auto immune issue which means she can easily get sick from just being around another dog. Erica takes them at the start or end of the day to makes sure they are in and out safely. Not to mention her groomings are spot on. I sometimes want a puppy cut, full shave or just a bath and all are amazing. I am so glad I found you a few years back for my fur babies 15, 12 and 3. Thank you Paws on Fifth!!!

The grooming is amazing but customer service is horrible. I have taken a few dogs there and even with an appointment they take a few hours. I took a labrador several times and the owner didnt like that they took 5 hours to get a call that he was ready same with the other dogs.

I have been bringing my maltese Mia to Erica and staff for a few years a. I am totally satisfied with the way she respects me and my little dog, she always is prompt and her work is impeccable. Every time I pick Mia up she looks like a show dog out of West Minster dog show. The shop is always CLEAN AND MY DOG IS always safe. I give Erica and staff 100 stars. I HIGHLY recommend anyone to bring their pets (cats/dogs) there.

A amazing place to get your pet a grooming. The staff is very skilled and keeps the pets happy. A appointment is needed to get a cut. They give you a call when your pooch is ready for pick up. Parking is on the street which can be a pain during the day but not a big deal. Just be careful getting your pet out onto 5th ave. I highly recommend you check these girls out for your pets grooming needs. They also give them a cute bandana when done.

We really like this place. My pup Mason feels comfortable coming here. Comparing to other grooming places I have taken him to he’s usually terrified.They always do a great job and are always very accommodating to scheduling and making everyone happy. Erica and staff are awesome.

I got a a rescue dog from a kill shelter in Atlanta Georgia. He was a tough dog and a little dog and very hard to handle. When I bought him to pause on 5th they were able to cut his hair trim his nails and they did a fantastic job. 👏 I have been bring my other dogs there since 2003.I am very happy with the results and love and kindness that they gave my Lil Grover ❤️ I highly recommend this to any dog owner this is the best place in Westchester County.

We have been taking our dogs to Paws on Fifth for over 25 years. Erica, Evilit and the entire staff are wonderful. They are gentle and take wonderful care of the pets being serviced.

This is the first groomer that I have been to that I have been 100% impressed! The facility is set up in a way that all grooming is visible. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Most importantly my Sadie was perfect after her appointment. I have found my permanent groomer!

Perfect cut every time! The groomers are so good to our large laberdoodle and always do an amazing job - ears to tail & eyes to nails! We’ve been scarred by bad groomers in the past. Since we started at Paws 2 years ago, we have never gone anywhere else.

Whenever and I mean whenever I need to take Biscuit in for a grooming they will always try their best to accommodate. Also, Biscuit is 15 so they truly help with making her feel safe. She gets very anxious. And I only started bringing Biscuit to Paws on Fifth a few years ago. I wish I discovered them much sooner. They give the best cuts and grooming.

I cant say enough about Erica and her staff. My pug loves the pampering he gets with every visit. They are always willing to accommodate and take time to answer any questions or concerns.Highly recommend

I’ve been going to paws on fifth in pelham for many years. They are always accommodating and love what they do. They’re not overly priced and I’ve never had a single bad experience. I have two different types of dogs and they do great with both.

My dog comes out beautiful and looking show-quality every time. The staff there are very nice, know him and treat him very well. Wish they had online booking, as its tough shouting into the phone over the dryers to set up an appointment.

I absolutely love it there! Always welcoming, make sure to book in advance as it can get busy! I Love that it’s mostly all women.. but beyond that I can tell they love animals… I feel secure and happy whenever I leave my Simba with them!

Paw in Fifth was recommended to me by my neighbor. She spoke highly of them, so I was excited to take my 7 month shih poo to her first grooming session. My first encounter was not great and the second time was even worse. Several weeks back I went to POF to inquire about their service. I walked in and stood at the counter for about 3 to 4 minutes without anyone greeting me. Being that the place was busy, I gave them a pass. I finally said something and one of the ladies came to greet me and answered my questions. I told her that I would make a phone call to schedule an appointment. I scheduled the appointment two weeks ago. Fast forward to yesterday, I took my dog for her first grooming. I was pretty excited. I entered the place and again, no one greeted me for about 4 minutes. I was pretty annoyed and I finally asked them if they plan to acknowledge that I was here. One of the women in the back snapped, we told you well get to you soon. I was shock by her overall attitude. I told her perhaps it was the barking dogs that may have hindered my hearing. I know no one greeted me but I let it go, nonetheless. A other worker walked towards the counter and took my information. She reviewed the calendar and told me that my appointment was yesterday. I looked at my calendar and it clearly showed that my appointment was yesterday. The women apologized and proceeded with her previous activity, without remediating the confusion. As a former manager, a customer should NEVER leave your business dissatisfied, NEVER. In addition to apologizing, that young lady should of offered to reschedule the appointment at a different time. Im not one to write reviews, but given the overall experience, perhaps the owner will take the time to train his or her staff how to treat a potential customer. Based on what I saw, their grooming work looks amazing, but their customer service is extremely lacking. I will not subject myself to be treated like that again. Its a NO for me.

Honestly, this place always groomed my puppy well but I’m beginning to suspect that they discriminate against people of color. Yesterday (Tuesday) I decided to bring my puppy to get groomed and they declined their services to me. Their excuse was, “we’re booked until Friday.” Normally I call to make an appointment first before showing up and I only get my dog groomed every couple of months by them. When I call over the phone I always get same day service but, the one time I decide to schedule in person all of a sudden they’re “booked.” I didn’t make it a big deal at first but when I got home I realized that I wasn’t greeted with any enthusiasm and I started to question if they were really booked or if they just didn’t want to groom my puppy. To test my theory I had my mom call from her phone and pretend to schedule an appointment for a different dog. Turns out I was right, they have appointments available today and tomorrow but they didn’t tell me that. I am a 19 year old black girl and I occasionally walk into Pelham (a predominantly white neighborhood) to get my dog trimmed. I never expected to be treated the way I was as a paying customer. I am so disappointed in this establishment. They also like to change prices, one time it will be $60 and the next time it will be $70.

My Ginger has been a customer of POF for close to 5 years. They are responsive to Gingers anxiety and let her go in early so that she is in and out within an hour to 1.5 hours (which means the world to us). They text me pictures of Ginger and sometimes even let her roam around until pick up because they know she hates cages. Very personalized treatment, very fair pricing, and they follow up each visit with a check in text. The absolute best!

I have trust issues and I would never leave my dog with anyone. Expect for Paws on Fifth, they are the most friendliest dogs groomers that I ever met. They are like the only ones that I can trust my dog with.

Had a bad experience with my basenji dog where he was aggressive and bit one of the workers arm. Called back to see if I could come again after telling them I got prescribed pills from vet to calm down my dog so he would not be aggressive, they refused to try again. Won’t give my dog a second chance. How unprofessional?! This is what you guys do for a living! It is a known fact that basenjis are aggressive. Put a mussel on him! How can you deal with pits and not know how to deal with a 22 pound dog! Not recommending this place ever again!

This is the best groom shop in our area. I have used the shop for 10+ years. The quality of the work is unsurpassed. Their knowledge of the individual breeds always makes your pet look the best.

Cat owners! Although they claim to groom cats and dogs, they unfortunately aren’t able to accommodate cats on a regular basis given the high volume of dogs they handle. Even if you book an appointment they cancel on you week after week leaving you in the lurch even with cats that require grooming for medical reasons.

They are great with our very anxious doodle!

Erica has been grooming my dogs for the last 20 years (first Maxie and now Ricky and Roxy). My dogs love her and the staff at Paws on Fifth. I have been taking my dog Max to Paws on Fifth ever since he finished his last vaccination shot and was able to go outside. He loves going to Paws on Fifth. It sounds strange but usually dogs get intimidated when they go to the groomers. Not Max he actually scratches at the door and wants to go in. He has grown his own special bond with Erica and the staff there. I’m sure all the dogs there do. I appreciate Erica and her Staff at Paws on Fifth, for treating Max like their own dog. The love and treatment is what I am so grateful for and to be honest I don’t see me bringing my dog Max anywhere else. Erica and her staff at Paws on Fifth do an amazing job grooming our dog, Finn. He’s 80 lbs with fluffy hair but they make him look like a million bucks every time. The groomers are talented, dedicated, loving, and attentive. They take excellent care of Finn and clearly love what they do. The store is clean and the service is top notch - i wouldn’t take my dog to anyone else.

Staff are super accommodating with bathing our pups last minute. They do a fantastic job and remember our pups by name. They always leave fresh and with an adorable lil bandana that theyre happy to prance around in showing off their newly washed coats. Were lucky to have such a great groomer in the area. Your pups will be in good hands!

They did a wonderful job. We brought in our Samoyed who needed a lot of work. He came out later in the day the softest and cleanest Ive seen him. Pricing is very reasonable too, especiallyfor the tough job we gave them. A full groom ran 130 after tax.
