PetSmart Grooming

I have been a client at Petsmart in Pelham for years. I usually go to Hayley and she called me after I picked up my mini poodle today telling me that she no longer will take me as a client because I pushed her schedule behind and that I was not sure of what I wanted to do. My fur baby gives me a hard time about brushing her and she was matted. I was asking her some questions because I was concerned about getting her shaved down. She said I always do this and that is absolutely not true! I didn’t know customers couldn’t ask questions when they’re concerned about their pets. I am very disgusted and will never go back. I plan to put in a complaint with corporate. Totally inappropriate behavior from someone I thought was a good groomer. Advice for management - teach your staff some manners!!

I gave this location a 2nd chance after another groomer needed a time change of which was inconvenient for me. Alex and Cynthias team did such a good job on the bath and brush despite low staffing and delivered such good service including comp toys and coupons which came in handy. All knots and tangles were removed and he smelled amazing

My baby looks great. Service is good And they treat the dogs with alot of care.

I quickly remembered why I haven’t been to Petco in over a year . It’s always a mess. The cashier was having a social conversation with what I thought was a customer. I stood there waiting to check out. Cashier didn’t acknowledge me and continued to chat with someone. Needless to say I left.

From the pet hospital to the grooming department (I yet to try the pet hotel), I always have a great experience. The staff members throughout the facility are friendly and professional and always eager to help. I know my pup is in great hands every he has an appointment. I’ve recommended this PetSmart to my friends, families and neighbors and they also have great experiences.

Paige is a soon to be 2 years old Shih Tzu and has been vista this groomer located since she was only few months old. Today my Pup was seen by Nicole. She had excellent customer service and handled my baby with such care. I truly enjoy bringing her to this location and look forward to continuing to book with Nicole. Thank you

They always hook my pup up ! Much better then the one in the mall with Costco around 116th st.

I highly recommend the Petshotel in Pelham. The staff is so wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. My 9 year old puppy had a great time. She was very well taken care of and had a great time at day camp! I live about 30 minutes away in Astoria and it is absolutely worth the drive.

I left my dog and cat at the Pelham pets hotel and they wouldn’t give me a report on how my animals did because corona virus prohibited them from doing so. They explained to me that this is a policy from corporate.... I paid 300 dollars and didn’t even get a report on how my dog did .. whether he peed pooped ate? I paid extra for doggy activities and they briefly told me he was scared ... so they charged me 3 nights for doggy activities he didn’t even need. Owners like to know how their pets are doing while they are away. My dog kept making weird noises ... I took him to the park and he had diarrhea....I am now at the vet trying to figure out what happened...I don’t even know what type if food was given to him...or since when he’s been like this . No report no nothing

I wouldn’t go to that place again there are always big lines usually 1 cashier while employees are walking around talking among themselves, very unfriendly,I had to go today before going to work and I checked in the website the hours, it says they open at 7am, I got there at 8am went in the store nobody greets you very unfriendly staff if they are not happy there they should quit they are not giving stuff for free, I went to a register I was there for about 10 minutes there were employees around me, finally I asked if someone was working the register and I was told we opened at 9am the 7am is for grooming.If I would be the owner of that place I will fire everyone there are a lot of people who need a job and will much better than any of them

Lori is amazing. She made my baby boy Cody look amazing. He liked her from the moment he saw her. I left him in her care with no worries. Thank you Lori.

Really clean and friendly.. Staff are really chatty amongst themselves and hide in non visble corners of the store but once you get their attention theyre nice people..
