I have a very fidgety toy schnauzer and I am so bless to have come across Beauty for mutts. Stephanie has the best hands to groom my dog. She is simply amazing and always kind to us. I have been coming to her for quite some time now and have NO complaints. Shes always welcoming us with a smile and good vibes. Brought my 75 lb lab here for the first time. 100% would come back. We did a deshed, his coat is so soft now and smells great. Wonderful service. Overall experience was great! Thank you!

On the phone they are very friendly and professional but in person it’s completely different.First off they (Stephanie)told me my fur baby has one more chance to come back. Right there off the bat I knew she wouldnt return on my behalf.The other lady grooming kept talking to me in slang and insinuating I dont comb or take care of my dog. ( Why talk to a BW in slang and nobody else? Im not your friend I’m a costumer, keep it professional, but she clearly doesn’t know anything about that) Mind you she didnt talk to the other costumers in slang. Which I didnt appreciate it. She kept making these dumb analogies of how we take care of our hair and our dogs. Just felt very unnecessary. Im here for a grooming not a lecture.I get home to find out my dogs ears werent groomed and not all nails were cut. I paid for nothing it felt like.Bottom line is never again. Go spend your money where it is wanted

I first would like to say the haircut Stephanie gave my dog was decent a bit shorter than I asked but acceptable! The customer service was less desirable than I would have liked I was charged 15 dollars more which totaled 85.00 for a 12 lb dog because she claimed he didnt like the brush to which I have no proof! He is a small and very sweet Aussie doodle who has never had any problems at his prior groomer in Nyack! I made a big mistake trying to support this local business as I usually pay 60.00 and give a generous tip! Also when I voiced my concerns her response was have a nice daynever lifting her head to look at me , just blew me off didnt seem to care! I never leave reviews but just know that whether or not you can prove your dog was not the perfect little pup you may get charged extra! Im so grateful other professionals such as my sons barber never thought to charge more if he was wiggling in his chair,after all thats where I always leave a generous tip! Update.. another nasty encounter with Stephanie today 9/23/21

I am so happy Stephanie is back. My dogs look so good when she grooms them. One of my dogs had a hind leg issue and had not been groomed for awhile. Stephanie made him look so handsome.

I brought my Yorkie who I just got from a shelter. He was a mess. She took her time and did an amazing job. I highly recommend her.

I was disappointed with this place they gave me 2 appointments the first was on a Saturday April 2 and that day they told me that it is for next Saturday 9 when next Saturday is coming I called to confirm they told me it wasnt next Saturday 9 because they are going on vacation almost a month later From my first call. Not responsability.

Stephanie is the best and my dogs love her.

I am absolutely pleased with the level of care. It becomes a friendly visit for my dog when getting groomed. She does an excellent job and is creative with the cuts (especially when my Gizmo shows up extra matted). She also works around my hectic schedule.
