Absolutely LOVED this sanctuary. Jason is amazing and beyond passionate for the animals. Went last second with my husband and had a blast learning about the rescues and their backgrounds. If I could rate this place 10 stars I would, definitely will be going back again. 100% recommend to everyone!

Visiting this farm was one of the most heartwarming experiences I’ve ever had. Despite almost losing his eyesight, Jason has built something truly special—a sanctuary filled with love and care for every animal there. The animals love Jason‘s presence and show it by following him around the farm.Interacting with the animals was an absolute joy. You could feel their comfort and trust, which speaks volumes about the way they’re cared for. This animal sanctuary is more like an animal heaven. It is an open space where all different types of animals live peacefully in an open space together. They are all kind, sweet and loving. I honestly can’t believe what we experienced. It was that cool. On top of that, we had the pleasure of Jason showing us the farm. He is truly an amazing human is who so dedicated to giving these animals the life they always deserved. I highly recommend going here for a once in a lifetime experience. But maybe not once in a lifetime because i would go again!

Bella Acres Farm and Animal Sanctuary is truly a gem in the heart of the countryside. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Jason, the owner, who welcomed us with open arms and gave us a tour of the property. You could tell the animals are loved and happy to be in this sanctuary. My girlfriend and I had an awesome time getting to know the bunnies, dogs, goats, and more. Jason was a great host as well and told us each animal’s backstory. Overall, it was an awesome time, and we’re glad we went!

The property is beautiful and serene. The animals are sweet, friendly and all roam freely on the property. The owner and caretaker of the sanctuary, Jason, is so kind, friendly and patient. I went with my 2 children ( 2 and 4 years old) for a private tour of the farm. Jason was so considerate of my kids and answered all of their 1000 questions with patience. They were able to see and pet horses, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, geese, alpacas, bunnies, pigs, and some cute dogs too. It was a rare and special experience. 10/10 would go there again.

I really enjoyed visiting Jason’s farm! There are a wide variety of animals living peacefully and happily in the sanctuary, and it was such an incredible experience to visit and interact with them. Jason takes really good care of the animals and the farm, and he guided us around, introduced us to different animals and shared with us his mission. The animals were all very friendly and loved greeting their guests. I learned so much from this meaningful and fun tour!

Jason is probably one of the most down to earth and earnest people that I’ve ever met. This farm is everything to him, and it really shows. Totally worth a trip - visit this lovely farm and you won’t regret! Animals welcome you and ask to get petted. Visit is very therapeutic and calming.Our toddler had a blast and didn’t want to leave!Jason lives on the farm so he is flexible with scheduling and happy to have visitors. He was willing to accommodate us on Christmas Day! And was very understanding when we had to reschedule.Winters are tough for farmers because animals can’t go eat grass. Please visit, enjoy and help this farm continuously thrive by generously donating what you can.

My family and me had a very special experience here. Jason was so attentive and was very kind. The farm and animals were amazing. It felt very peaceful and our son who is on the spectrum enjoyed it so much. All the animals were friendly and you can pet them. We will definitely come back to visit again!

My fiancé surprised me with a visit to Bella Acres for my birthday, and it was truly magical. The experience was unforgettable, and we cant wait to return. The animals are so well-loved and have the freedom to roam the beautiful grounds. The owner’s kindness and passion shine through in every detail. Took my family to Jason’s farm yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. He was very accommodating and the truly one on one experience we had with the animals was beyond amazing. I’ve never been to a farm where we were so up close and personal with the animals. Goats, chickens, ducks, horses, rabbits and dogs.My daughter truly enjoyed the experience as much as I did. He has a cute little pond off to the back of the farm that we were able to walk out too.He was informative and told us about all the rescued animals saved and able to live out their lives on this little farm.Couldn’t recommend enough and can’t wait to come back.

We are so grateful for Jason and his farm to accept our 10 ducks. His pond is going to be so enjoyable for the ducks since we couldn’t provide a pond. The farm is just amazing with the variety of animals and friendliness of the animals…a great place to visit.

This is a WONDERFUL place!!! Jason cares for about 500 animals - with extraordinary love and devotion. It really shows in the well-being of these animals, most of whom have been rescued from being slaughtered for meat, or situations where they were not well cared for.The animals appreciate Jasons care and follow him around the farm as he does the many daily chores required to keep everyone well fed, clean, and healthy.It is a delight to visit for both adults and kids. The animals are very comfortable around people and enjoy the attention.It is a great expense to maintain all these animals, so if you can offer feed or funds to help, it will be a great benefit to all these beings!

We had the most amazing experience with Jason on his farm and find the work he’s doing with these animals truly inspiring. We wanted to take our 2.5 year old somewhere to “see the animals” as she puts it and we loved that this was a working farm where she’d be able to interact with them as well. Having Jason give you the 1:1 personal time is invaluable, you really learn a lot about the animals on the farm and there’s zero rush when enjoying the experience.When we visited there were baby goats, ducklings, and the most delightful and playful litter of puppies along with all the other incredible rescue animals. Jason took time to answer all our questions and most of all, our incredibly shy and introverted toddler was able to experience the farm and animals at her own pace which helped her really interact with the animals, especially the baby goats and pigs.Thank you Jason for such a wonderful time and we can’t wait to visit again!

Such a great time on Jason’s farm. The amount of work he puts into providing comfort for these animals is amazing. My wife and I were looking for a place where we could interact with animals and this was just the fit. Jason let us hang out for as long as we wanted and pet and play with all of the animals From ducks, goats, horses, dogs and even baby pigs. Such a great experience I highly recommend!

Visiting Bella Acres today was probably the best farm experience we’ve ever had! We’re so fortunate to be close enough and with schools closed Jason accommodated us with no hesitation! Today the kids got to have their one on one with the dogs and I have to say we were very pleasantly surprised! These dogs are so amazingly friendly my kids could not get enough!! I went to Bella Acres Farm last weekend and I had the best time with my little sister. Jason ( the farm owner) was very kind and informative. He let us hang out and feed the animals. He gave us a tour of the property and told us a little bit about himself and the farm. It was a great experience and it’s a great place to go to with family and friends. I have recommendations for first timers: make sure you wear proper clothes and shoes. You will get a bit dirty. I brought an extra pair of shoes so I can swap them out while I was at the farm. I also brought an extra hoodie just in case. Bring wet /sanitizing wipes as well. I would recommend asking/ calling about the bathroom situation there as well. Lastly please give a generous donation if possible. Jason is a one man army tending to his farm and he really gives his time to the people visiting while maintaining everything. All in all this place is a little gem and I’m glad I found it by chance. Thanks for the memories 😊

Me and my 2 boys had a blast at Bells Acre Farm. Jason is so kind and like all the reviews say he truly loves his animals and treats them with love and respect. Instead of spending money at the zoo consider bringing your kids here where the animals are cared for and truly loved. Everything is donation based! Thank you Jason for a beautiful experience.

My family and I made the trip from PA to visit Jason and his farm. We had a wonderful experience adopting our new puppy from Jason and hearing all about his animals and the sanctuary he has created for them. Our puppy is not only extremely handsome he has a wonderful temperament. It’s obvious that Jason takes great pride in caring for all of his animals. If you’re looking for a fun hands on farm experience or looking to buy a new furry friend Bella Acres Farm & Sanctuary is a great choice. Jason is disabled a Military Veteran. He relies on volunteers and donations to provide the best care for all of his animals. If you have some time, old towels, sheets, blankets, clothing or can spare monetary donation, these items are always needed on the farm please stop by or contact Jason. We are so thankful to have our new family member “Archie” and also to have made a new friend in Jason. We really can’t say enough nice things. Thank you Jason!

Found this hidden gem of an experience while searching for things to do outside of WP. This farm is a beautiful encounter with a variety of farm animals. The owner and caretaker, Jason, goes above and beyond to ensure a fun, safe, and knowledgeable experience. From free roaming to close encounters with all the animals from chickens, goats, horses, sheep, and pigs, you’re bound to have a great time. Already looking forward to the next visit.

My partner and I went to Bella Acres Farm last week and it was a beautiful, no frills, authentic experience. I called up Jason to inquire when we could come visit, and he was very communicative and flexible. Jason takes care of over 300 animals (birds, goats, sheep, horses, pigs, dogs, cats+) and you can see how much he cares about them and works very hard to improve their lives and the space they live in.We got the opportunity to hang out with the goats, sheep, birds+, feed them, and walk around. It was great to talk to Jason and learn more about the story of his farm and how it came to be. A memorable, lovely experience and we hope to visit him and the animals again!Tips: Wear clothing that you dont mind getting dirty! Also I suggest bringing cash as cell service can be limited, though you can use Zelle if needed.

Visited the farm today and had the best time. This is not your traditional farm! These animals are loved, fed well, and most importantly free and happy. Jason the owner loves and cares for these animals. He was so nice to let us feed, hold, and interact with the them. I loved every second of this experience. I encourage other animal and nature lovers to come for a visit. I will be back soon!

We had a wonderful experience at the farm. Jason was very kind from the moment he responded my inquiry. It’s very relaxing to see the Animals roams the farm freely and being well taken care of. We didn’t get to see the alpacas because they were visiting an elderly man at that time, we will definitely go back to meet Alpacas :)

I visited Bella Acres Farm & Sanctuary on December 13, 2023 to drop off 2 goats to their new home. Prior to dropping the goats off I was concern about the care that they would receive. However, when I met Jason, the owner of Bella Acres Farm & Sanctuary, I knew that the goats would be well cared for. Jason was kind and caring person. All the animals ( for example -horses, goats, chickens, pigs and ducks) appeared to be well fed and cared for. Jason has a big heart and loves the animals.

I had an amazing time at the farm today!! Jason was super welcoming. He personally showed us around and shared stories of how he has transformed the property and his vision for the future. He let us feed, pet and hold a bunch of animals. You can tell be truly cares about his animals - they were all so well taken care of and happy. Super happy I got to spend the afternoon here and can’t wait to see how this place changes over time. Would recommend checking this place out

Visited Bella Acres yesterday with a friend of mine. We called Jason and he set up a private appointment for us to walk around the farm the day of our visit. What an incredibly special place. Hundreds of rescue animals living in harmony. From the chickens, to the goats, to the dogs and even a walk around the pond, we had SO much fun meeting the animals, learning about them, and chatting with Jason. If you’re in the area, give him a call or text to set up time to visit—was the best part of our time upstate!

I took my kids there and the owner Jason was incredible! We had such a nice experience cute farm to take little ones to see all the animals! My 16 month old took a cute little ride on the horse also. Overall lots of animals and both kids had a great time!!

I went to Bella Acres Farm & Sanctuary today and met farmer Jason who is very dedicated in caring for all the lovely animals in his farm. He has a wonderful land that allows these animals to be cared for in an environment that allows them to grow, but most importantly to be nurture.It is an amazing atmosphere feeling right at home, while connecting with the animals in a therapeutic way allowing one to feel calm,, peaceful, positive, and leave with higher energy levels.Jason has created an environment that will help others connect emotionally and most importantly understand the importance of nurturing while being in his farm. We visited Jason’s farm a few weeks back and it was pure magic. I have been to other, larger, rescue farms/sanctuaries and while they’re all amazing, this one provided closer interaction with the animals and an opportunity to really experience firsthand how amazing pigs and goats and horses are. Being able to give the pigs belly rubs makes you understand how pigs are really just dogs with a lot more mud :)Jason has poured his heart into this property and the animals are lucky to have him. There’s a beautiful pond at the end of the property that is just a 2 minute walk. Jason is great, the farm is beautiful, and the animals are a delight. Give it a visit!

Sanctuary is not strong enough of a word to describe this beautiful slice of heaven on earth. Every single creature on Jasons land is treated with love and respect, holding full space for each one to be 100% themselves. Every living thing that sets foot here is enveloped with love and transformed/elevated to a holier version of themselves. This is what Jason does. ALL DAY LONG. I am in awe of how he selflessly works to provide life for all of Gods creatures. Yes, this is what he does to humans too, and what he did for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all that you do for us all.

Bella Acres Farm and Sanctuary is a wonderful place that is ran by Jason. We had a chicken that needed extra attention after she hurt her leg and Jason welcomed her with open heart and arms. All animals are very well taken care of and they look so happy and very friendly. I have no doubt that our chicken will be happy among new friends. Can’t wait to go back and visit. Two years ago, at Bella Acres Farm & Sanctuary, I adopted two beautiful chihuahua puppies. They are healthy and well behaved. The owner, is passionately dedicated to rescuing dogs and farm animals. He goes above and beyond call, always putting in long hours each day. It was a pleasure meeting him and I hope to visit there again soon.

This farm is very special and historic. The owner Jason is very accomodating, has a lot of patience and it made the experience visiting the farm with my family very welcoming. The farm itself is taken care of, was very clean and the animals are well taken care of, look healthy and you can tell they are well fed. Jason takes the time and dedication to care for the land and animals. The compassion and dedication he has makes me hopeful one day for the world a better place. I really enjoyed the pond, it was peaceful and it was beautiful colorful dragon flies. My son was able to hold a baby goat, duck and pig. I love the variety of animals that are on the farm and it’s child friendly My sons experience will last him a life time and it brought him a lot of joy. I knew I didn’t want to visit a traditional farm because of the treatment of animals and I was glad to find this place. I’m defiantly coming back and bringing friends with me.

We had an AMAZING time with Jason & his animals! He is so generous with his time and information. We were two families and It’s suggested as a donation of $60 minimum per family to help towards caring for the animals and for the time in showing us around. It’s totally worth it! We loved getting to hold some little piglets, chicks and ducks. Petting a Turkey was a new experience! But going in the pen to be with the goats was my favourite part. They are so tame and loved to have their ears scratched and are very affectionate. The kids and us adults loved it. You can see how much care and love Jason puts in to looking after the animals. We will definitely be back, thank you so much Jason!

Jason at Bella Farms and Sanctuary is an amazing human being!I had come across an injured pigeon in the city of Newburgh that was lying in the middle of a busy side street.I stopped to move it out of the road and tried calling around to various listings for animal help as I felt awful just leaving it there struggling and suffering.Jason was the only person to answer the phone and said he would do everything he could to help the pigeon recover.I immediately brought it to him and felt that I had left it in safe and caring hands.Jason not only accepted the responsibility of caring for this animal but also said he would provide me with updates.Jason also stated he is willing to take in and care for any injured animals!!!Truly an awesome and caring guy!

Bella Acres farm is such a beautiful and amazing place. When we went there in July, to meet Jason and the pups...little did we know that we would come home with our boy Django. After bringing our pup home, Jason has been in contact to know how he is doing and if we need any help.Jason, does an amazing job with all the animals, not just the dogs. A great place to visit and disconnect from the world for a bit. He is a great human being for creating a safe haven for dogs and all animals. We need more people like Jason in this world.If you are looking to adopt a dog, I would highly recommend Jason and Bella Acres Farm. Dogs are so friendly and house trained.

We found a farm accidentally on Google Maps and didnt regret it even for a second. To get to the farm, you have to make an appointment with the owner. So, we called. After a short talk, the owner agreed to welcome us at his farm!!! We set up time and were provided with instructions on how to get there.Jason was welcoming and showed us everything, which made us feel at his farm like at home. All animals look so happy to be there! You can hold and pet all animals, even baby pigs, baby chicks, and baby goats. We also were provided with food for animals and fed them as well. We had a lot of questions, and all the answers were honestly given to us. My sons eyes were sparkling with happiness the whole visit time.By owners permission, we had a chance to walk to the beautiful hand crafted pond at the end of the farm. Its a nice place to relax and observe pond habitats.It was amazing family experience! Jason, thank you so much!!!

Bella acres is truly what an animal sanctuary should be. The moment you enter, you are greeted by the whole gang. Horses, pigs, goats, sheep, ducks and more are all free roaming and friendly, and love the attention. This sanctuary is a labor of love for Jason, the owner. He is a one man army and cares for all the animals 24/7, including a dog rescue, with over 60 dogs atm. All on his own and with the help of donations.If you are looking to spend time with animals, there is no better place. They are not locked up behind gates like zoos, and you can see how happy and well cared for they are. Jason gives you a personal tour and is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I definitely plan on returning because for me it was such a peaceful and beautiful experience, and I need to give Joey the pig many more belly rubs.

This was such a memorable experience and Jason went above and beyond to make my family feel welcomed. The animals are so affectionate and wonderful to interact with, you can definitely tell they’re well taken care of and loved. I’d highly recommend this place for anyone with kids and if you love bonding with animals. Definitely coming back here in the future.

If you want a peaceful place to get away, relax, and hang out with animals up close and personal, this is the spot. I had such a great time visiting with all the animals, especially the ducks, which were my favorite. There is also a very sweet turkey lady who lays down next to you as you pet her.Jason was such a great host, and so informative about all the things relating to the farm. I only called like a day ahead and he was so accommodating. He even offered a camping site that he has started in the back area of the land with the lake (that he made himself!). Im really glad I decided to stay, instead of going to a state park. It was such a beautiful spot to camp for the evening. It felt very relaxing and safe; with the sounds of the lake to lull you to sleep.I will definitely have to come back to camp again and catch a visit with the alpacas who were at the horse stables when I came. Definitely a hidden gem.

Had an absolutely great experience today at Bella Acres Farm and Sanctuary. My daughter loved being able to interact with all of the animals including the horses, goats, chickens, ducks, pigs and even got to hold, and feed the bunnies. Jason was amazing, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be going back!

We loved Bella acres! Jason the owner was was wonderful from the moment we got there, his communication setting up the visit was great. Very intimate interactions between yourself and the animals.He takes you around showing you all the different animals, you can get up close and personal with them. They roam free on his property which is amazing. Over 300 plus animals he takes care of and recuses , hes doing gods work caring for all of them! My family loved it and will definitely be back again!

My boyfriend and I are frequent visitors of Bella Acres. It’s a beautiful farm and sanctuary for a large variety of animals who are endlessly loved by Jason, the owner! We recently adopted a 7 month old pitbull from him and she’s a gem! Gentle and playful with my other dog and cat. We love taking Daisy back to visit while we enjoy the other animals on the property. It’s a beautiful place to relax and recharge.

I took my sister to Bella Acres Sanctuary as a birthday gift. And such a gift it was. She loved it and was overcome with joy being with all the animals. Firstly, Jason was so nice, engaging, knowledgeable about all the animal groups and specific animal’s vulnérabilités and needs. He has such a big heart. He is so loving and caring with all the animals and the animals were so friendly and loving with us in turn. I work w horses and have never seen more friendly and affectionate horses. They came right up to us and cuddled against us. At one point, I was petting 4 goats who were so eager to connect w me. It was amazing and comes from Jason’s loving care. He works so hard and it shows. At the farm, all the animals roaming free with eachother in harmony was magical and I felt such childlike joy.It is such a special place and anyone who can get there and experience all the magic and love will never forget it! It is a must see. It is what the oneness and harmony of all creatures is supposed to be….Heaven on Earth. My family and I visited Jasons farm and had the most amazing time seeing and interacting with the animals. You can tell he truly cares about the animals and helping them thrive. The one-on-one visit was the best part because Jason was able to take us through the various areas of the farm and answer all of our questions. We werent rushed and our kids (8 and 6) LOVED getting to see so many types of animals just roaming the property. Our favorite parts were seeing the piglet, baby goats and beautiful horses. Jason is a great guy who has rescued so many animals. This is truly a labor of love for him. Its a great sanctuary where you can get right in with the animals. We were able to call Jason and he gave us a time to come by to see the animals on the property, such a cute one on one experience for us and our little ones! He has helped me with two cats who are truly lucky to have the care, attention and space to live there. We visited Jason and his farm for the day while camping nearby. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the interactions with all of the animals. Our daughter said she wished she would have brought her purse or had pockets to put baby Squirt (goat) into! Its a wonderful thing Jason is doing and there isnt really another experience quite like this. Everyone is taken care of and happy! Thanks again! Jason, the owner and host, was friendly kind and willing to share. He told my daughter and me all about the animals he had, and he answered all our questions. He told us which were of the animals would be the best to hold (bunnies not alpacas) and he showed us how to do it respectfully and gently. His suggested donation was reasonable and you left wanting to give more.

We had the pleasure of visiting Bella Acres for my son’s birthday. Jason was patient, kind, and very knowledgeable about all of the animals. We were able to visit the animals at our leisure, which allowed time for my son to warm up and really enjoy himself. He made a special connection with a 5 month old pig who Jason recently rescued! When my beloved Pit Bull Daisy passed, I was looking for a new companion. I came home with 2 lovely Staffordshire Terriers Bella and Trixie. The Hudson Valley is truly lucky to have Bella Acres Farm and Sanctuary as part of the community. Jason, a Veteran and the proprietor is extremely passionate about providing a safe and loving environment for all of his animals and takes great pride in what he does. Any animal in need of love, care and safety receive these essential needs when others have let them down. He has dedicated his life to rescuing animals about to be put down and works very hard to care for them as pets. Jason is amazing and the animals are very lucky to have him! He is a real hidden hero!

I went to Bella Acres Farm & Sanctuary and was welcomed by Jason the owner. The reason for my visit to the farm was to surrender a duck that needed more space and a place where he can have a better life. Jason was so welcoming and friendly. He reassured me that my duck was going to be fine. This farm is a safe heaven for this animals. Place was peaceful and suitable for these amazing animal. Jason shared with me how my duck was doing every time and it gave me a sense of tranquility. Thank you Jason for being so compassionate and kind. You are truly an angel. God bless you!

Great experience worth every penny ! Jason let us meet all the animals and feed a bunch of them for as long as we wanted. Gave us a tour of the whole farm and was just very nice overall. Very genuine guy who cares a lot for all the animals and takes amazing care of them. If you want a farm experience this is the place you want to go !

We had a great experience with Jason at Bella Acres Farm picking up a new member of the family. He was very helpful and informative and we still keep in touch. We werent able to get the whole tour because we had a long drive back but will be visiting with our boy again the first chance we get! 10/10 would recommend

We were just here and had a lot of fun. My lady got to hold some baby goats which was a dream come true for her. Jason was extremely nice to us and has a ton of love and pride in what he is doing here. It shows through. All of the animals were very friendly and werent shy to be approached or pet. You really get to be as hands on as you like and we would love to go back and visit next time were in the area.

Jason’s farm is well worth visiting for a variety of reasons. One, he is providing a true public service rescuing animals of all kinds. All the animals co-exist in such harmony, which tells you a lot about how it’s run, and Jason walks with you answering all curiosities you may have. Although you’re free to wander and pet the goats, pigs, horses and more, it’s not a petting zoo, it’s a true animal farm, so don’t expect it to be spic and span. You can even sit in the grassy field with the goats and just relax. Jason is all heart and has an authentic commitment to Bella Acres. My family and I enjoyed it very much. It is a donation system, so give what is within your means, but I factored $20 a person because of the tour he gave, the fact that it’s a one hour visit, and I really want to support this animal rescue farm.

Ten out of Ten for this farm and it’s owner Jason. He was such a delight he really cares about his farm and works hard. He works hard to make sure you feel confident and comfortable around the animals the entire time. My daughter is 21 months old now and she had a Amazing TIME.The animals were so sweet you can tell they are cared for with love. Definitely going to visit Jason and his farm family again this summer!!!

Jason (owner) truly cares about all of the animals under his care. Goats, ducks, chickens, pigs, horses. It’s a truly special place to see the animals getting along and in such good health. Even with how busy he is, he took the time to show me around and explain the backgrounds of some of the animals. Well worth a stop if you’re in the area and love animals.

You can tell Jason takes amazing care of all his animals and can feel the love he puts into his farm. We were able to feed the horses, goats and chickens - apples, bread and fruit loops. Also able to hold a baby piglet and goat. Animals were all super friendly. Had such a great time!

I visited the farm yesterday and it was beautiful. Jason is awesome and the animals are SO cute.You get the opportunity to interact with all the animals I personally enjoyed the dogs all the dogs are so beautiful and well behaved. If you are interested in getting a rescue you should stop by and see all the dogs they are all so amazing and loving and friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone the views and scenery are gorgeous too.

Such an amazing farm experience for the whole family. Jason is so kind and took the time to show us around. The animals were well cared for and very friendly. My toddler especially love chasing all the goats and chickens. There are goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and horses roaming freely and you walk among them. There is also a little house for the chicks and bunnies that you can go inside to interact with them.

Today was a bitter sweet day as it came to the point where the six ducks I took in for a friend could no longer stay with us. I searched for the perfect forever home for them and after coming across Bella Acres and talking with Jason I knew it would be the best choice for these sweet ducks. I drove an hour to drop them off and they instantly took to their new home and many new friends. I miss them already but I’m so grateful to Jason for what he’s doing for all the animals on his farm. I’ll be back to visit and help out soon!

Bella Acres Farm and Sanctuary is an amazingly peaceful and happy place. When looking for a home for our rooster I contacted Jason (the owner) who couldn’t have been nicer and more sympathetic to our situation. We wanted for him to have a forever home; a loving caring atmosphere and that is Bella Acres Farms. From the moment we got there Jason was open to us touring the farm, interacting with the animals and allowed us to stay as long as we liked. My kids and I can’t wait to go back and visit.

I loved this place. I will 100% be going back. If this place were open as a job I would work there. Its a wonderful environment. There are so many animals. Jason (The owner) was so beyond sweet and he was so welcoming. I went there to drop off a baby bird who was injured and while we were there he invited us in to play with the animals. Im a huge mental health ambassador and I know how much animals can help people mentally. I know i personally feel better after visiting here. I cant wait to go back. I feel better now that I know my bird is in a safe and happy environment.

It’s was so great to meet the owner of Bella Acres Farm . Jason has so much compassion for farm animals. He rescued a stray meat pig from me who most likely wd have been slaughtered soon and all the goats, pigs, ducks, chickens and dogs he has at his farm who can now live out their lives in peace. What an amazing day we had today! Students from SUNY New Paltz got to help Jason process some food for composting and animal feed and play with the puppies and goats at the sanctuary. Jason is one of the most caring guys I ever met, a guy dropped off a duck to my house. Where I am I can’t have ducks let alone so I know what to do with an injured one. I called up Jason and he has taken care of the little girl. He has rehabilitated her gives her fresh water and food and has given me so much hope and has so much knowledge and has helped me every step of the way with one of my piggies who I got from him. Beautiful quiet place to bring you family for an outing. Jason the owner is a very nice guy he makes you feel welcomed when you arrive. Many animals and baby animals that were friendly enough for my 10 month old son to let pet and interact with. You should call and reserve a day to experience it.

Such a great experience! Jason the sanctuary owner gave us a private tour that we will remember forever. The animals were all super sweet and friendly. My four year old had so much fun feeding the goats and being chased by the puppies lol Would definitely recommend for a fun family outing. We visited the farm a few weeks ago with our son and another couple friend of ours with their two children. Our children had the absolute best time and so did we! Jason was so friendly and made the entire experience very enjoyable for all of us. The kids loved meeting all the animals. There were baby goats who had just been born that morning and they had the opportunity to hold them and feed various other animals. Jason even let all 3 of our boys ride one of his horses. We spent a lot of time just walking around the property after spending time feeding the animals and riding the horses. The property itself is beautiful and we never felt hurried. The experience was well worth it and we’ll definitely be back!

One of the best places to bring a family. Not only did I get to interact with all of the different kind of farm animals, I got to feed them as well. The experience I had with my family there was awesome. Jason is such a wonderful and hard working individual. He cares deeply about his animals and you can tell with the way he interacts with them how much he loves them. I adopted my remmi girl from him. And it was the best decision I ever made. He worked with her a lot and she’s such a great dog. She was going to be going to a shelter until Jason offered to care for her and work with her and try to find a new home for her. The family that had her said she was good aggressive. Know the shelters can euthanize dogs for many reasons, Jason saw the light at the end of the tunnel for this little girl. Thankfully they linked up with Jason and because he has the love for animals and the time and property, he is able to work with my remmi girl and many other beautiful animals and find them forever homes. After 6 months of Jason working with remmi girl, she is no longer food aggressive: she is the biggest sweetheart. If it wasn’t for Jason, this beautiful dog would have been euthanized. This place is by far a great sanctuary, I love connecting with the animals. They are well cared for, they have enough land to adventure out and ensure that they are living their best life. The animals are very cared for because they love being touch and that means a lot. I love this place and can’t wait to come back and volunteer and help out.

Jason at Bella Acres was very nice from day 1 until now, we got 2 beautiful goats and 2 mini pigs and they are very healthy, is been 2 weeks and Jason still calls me up to check in the baby goats and the mini pigs.I strongly recommend this farm!!

Jason has dedicated himself to help and rescue animals from all over the area. He makes sure all animals have healthy and fresh food and clean water, he has made it a point to reconstruct the place and make safe for all animals the he receives.Jason has help me personally and have gave a place to leave to my very own potbelly pig, he has taking care of my Beacon like it was his until I can find a place to bring her back home,her and her brother are always together and eating all the healthy food they can het and walking around freely. Great experience! Very intimate, Jason spent a whole hour showing us the Horses, alpacas, dogs, goats, chicken and pig. Took our 1.5 year old and she had a blast getting up close to so many animals, getting to feed and pet the goats and horses and even hold a baby goat! Great time for the family!

HelloWe visited the farm and had a great experience.We found a lost hen outside our house and was looking for a better and safe place for her! She stayed with us for 2 weeks and family got so attach to her. We didn’t wanna give her away but I think she will have better life over here with other animals of same kind around her. Jason the owner and animal rescue person was great. This farm is solely for the care, rehabilitation, and love of animals. Jason gave my grandson and I a personal tour with the animals. It was raining so we couldnt get to see everything. He explained his plans for new construction and demolition of the old buildings. There was no charge. Donations are appreciated. A must do for animal lovers.

We had a blast at the farm. We called to see if we can visit last minute and Jason was super accommodating! All the animals were so friendly and loving - we could tell Jason takes very good care of them. Jason is very friendly and he takes only one group at a time which meant we got private time with the animals all for ourselves! My two year old fell in love with the baby goat 🐐 she was hanging out with and was in tears when we were heading home. We had such a great time and we are so touched by what Jason is doing - we will definitely come back!

Bella Acres Farm & Sanctuary was a great experience for my 3 year old son. He loved being around all the animals, running in the open grass and dancing around in the water puddles! I am a huge animal lover and my boyfriend surprised me with a trip to Bella Acres Farm And Sanctuary. To say that this place is amazing would be an understatement. Jason (the owner and caretaker) is beyond knowledgable, friendly, and most importantly, takes impeccable care of the animals. Instantly, I could tell how loved they were. We interacted with the animals and fed them a huge wheelbarrow full of food. To top it all off, the farm and sanctuary is self-funded which further demonstrates his passion for the animals. Some local businesses and some community members donate but PLEASE think about making a donation when going there (it is a huge undertaking and you will see exactly what I mean when you go). It takes a special person to take in and rescue animals and Jason is that person. We need more Jasons in this world.

My family and I had a wonderful time visiting Bella Acres! We came a little later in the day, but Jason still allowed us some time to enjoy ourselves before he closed up for the day. The animals are plenty and were all so friendly and well-behaved. My daughter had a ball and we will DEFINITELY be back soon. Had the pleasure of visiting Bella Acres the other day. Instead of a run of the mill petting zoo where you just hand feed animals from outside an enclosure, Jason the owner allows you into the animal pens to pet and even hold some of the small animals (baby goats, pigs etc.) Jason was very eager to share his wealth of knowledge about the animals on site and was very patient, never rushing our family to leave despite all the work he still had to do to keep the sanctuary running for the day. A soft spot for me in particular is that Jason is a fellow veteran and is working hard to improve his sanctuary so that fellow veterans have a calm, relaxing environment where they can just get away for awhile and enjoy the animals or the scenic property his sanctuary is situated on. Donations are accepted on site but he also has a go fund me page should you feel like contributing to such a worthy cause. He is doing awesome work and we will certainly be back!

My husband and I were at Bella Farms yesterday. The animals are so well taken care of. We met Jason who is absolutely fantastic . He is so dedicated to these animals . Bella Acres Farm is like going to see a friend or family rather than a business and Jason who is super knowledgeable, friendly, and warm will personally host you. Be sure to call ahead!

My boyfriend took me here as a birthday gift! This was the best birthday gift I have ever gotten. By far the kindest most honest man runs the farm, with a beautiful and humbling life story. So thankful for a veteran like him for serving our country and you can really tell how selfless he is for what he does for these animals. He saves these animals lives and takes care of them above himself. The animals are all so kind despite the things they have been through. It just goes to show how much better animals do when they are so well taken care of. Im so thankful for the owner allowing us to spend time with such beautiful friendly animals and letting us hear his humbling story. He doesnt judge these animals by their cover despite all of the hard things they have been through and saves them. Im so grateful there is someone who cares about animals enough to take them in the way he does.

Went the other day with my cousins and it was such a beautiful place. Jason, the owner, was busy but still managed to come and check up on us as we fed and interacted with some of the different animals he had. His animals were extremely sociable and looked so happy to be there! I cant wait to go back with my family!

I found a stray/dumped cat on my job site today during a snow and rain storm, so I couldn’t leave him. I called multiple shelters but nobody could take him so I drove around for hours until I found Bella Acres farm. I called and spoke with Jason who was very friendly and accommodating. He was able to meet up with me that same night within the hour to take the cat. I could instantly tell after talking with Jason in person I couldn’t have picked a better place to bring the cat.

Amazing experience. I adopted a puppy from jason, the owner today. My family and I had a very pleasant time playing and interacting with all of his animals. He was very kind and trustworthy. 5 star experience.

PLEASE READ ALL! I went here today with the toddler I babysit, and I was truly touched by my experience. One review said that those who come should prepare to be moved, uplifted, and enlightened. Having lived here all my life I figured that review was an exaggeration and this farm wouldn’t be unique from the others in the area. I was seriously mistaken! I can without a doubt say that this was the most wonderful experience Ive had going to any farm around here. Jason, the owner, was very kind and made sure that we had an engaging experience despite his being busy, which I really appreciated. Right away you can tell that every single animal is well taken care of. I learned that all his animals are hand-raised and none are harvested/killed, which for me shows the effort and care that Jason puts into his farm/rescue. I can certainly say that he goes above and beyond and I will 100% be back! Please, if you read this review, pay a visit to this place. You won’t regret it. I’m not one for long reviews but this place should receive all the accolades it deserves. On another note, I will also say that I am deeply disappointed with the recent negative review I read where someone very ignorantly wrote that Jason mistreats his animals. There was a video taken of Jason seemingly shaking his dog while it was passed out. I can understand how someone might be frightened and think what Jason was doing was harsh but let me tell you that as someone who has experience with dogs and animals, what he was doing was a clear attempt at bringing that dog back to the present and its really sad to see someone saying otherwise. The man is literally a saint! As for other claims of overcrowding, Jason is running a sanctuary where he takes in animals who need him. He is doing a beautiful thing and he runs one of the very few farms/rescues in this area that genuinely cares whether their animals live or die. So, I hope that this review can set things straight and help others see that one ignorant and uneducated commenter should not tarnish the name of a person doing a great thing. And if you’re still skeptical, please visit because I guarantee you’ll leave with the impressions I did.

Sorry if this is a bit sappy..... I had no idea what I was in store for. At one time I fostered dogs that were to be euthanized and saved a few horses from kill lots, I felt I had attained a good amount of knowledge, but I was about to meet my better.. The animals I met were so well taken care for and very well socialized... Jason has the deepest love and care, for all his animals. These animals that have been lucky enough to take that safe landing onto his sanctuary are very contented and well cared for. Saying I was impressed is a total understatement...He is so authentic. I wish there was a 10 star rating I could give. I am thankful that there are such wonderful people like him on earth.

Wow. If you’re looking for a special place to stop on a long drive, this is it. What a special experience for our family! We stopped by on the way back to the city and Jason welcomed us with open arms! Our kids had a blast feeding the goats, pigs and birds. We even got to hold a baby goat, just a few days old! We had the best time.

I live next door to this wonderful place. I first met Jason while he was chasing a neighbors pig. He was so gentle. Then when I saw a turkey come up and hug him I knew he was a gift to animals. Seeing how the goats respond to him I started calling him The Goat Whisperer . My husband and I have been rescuing for many years but now that we are older we only have 10 . Knowing if we need someone to take care of our fur babies , Jason is there, makes us feel so secure that he now has a key to our home. Ive never met anyone as dedicated to helping animls and having him as a neighbor is a true gift for us and all the animals he has given a good life.

I visited Jasons farm to deliver 2 cats he is taking in for a Poughkeepsie rescue. I was absolutely blown out of the water by what I saw & experienced! What a wonderful guy! Jason is a total sweetheart! The animals that greeted me, the goats, ducks & chickens all told me many stories about the happy life they are living on this beautiful farm. The animals all look so healthy & happy. The goats have shiny coats, moist, healthy mucus membranes, clear eyes, & are very sweet, lovable, well-behaved & mannerly. The chickens & ducks are beautifully feathered out, their feet are clean, pink & show no signs of bumblefoot. They all have beautiful voices, brilliant feathers, their combs & wattles are stunning hues of bright pink. They were ladies & gentlemen, & we had a lovely visit over bread & rolls(I cheated & had coffee).I cant wait to go back & meet the pigs!!!Im honored to have met Jason, as he truly seems to be an honest animal loving farmer.I look forward to helping him in any way I can.

Bella acres farm& sanctuary is one of the best farms around the animalsAre super cute and friendly.Jason is very welcoming and is always there to help with the animals when it comes to taking care of them. Our family enjoyed our time (about an hour) at Bella Acres Farm. Jason gives his all to improve the farm and care for the animals and rescue dogs. Our kids loved feeding the goats pigs, rabbits, ducks, and chickens. The stroll across the property led to a beautiful water oasis at the far end of the farm.

This farm was so fun. My family and dog had a blast! we will definitely come back again :)

My family and I went to visit this sanctuary and I have to say, it was awesome. All the animals are free ranged. The dogs were all playing and roaming in their own area. Very, very well behaved I must say. They have baby pigs, goats and ducks at the moment, plus older animals, which include chickens, roosters, ducks( different breeds and varieties), horses goats, pigs, and alpacas , and dogs of course. This sanctuary takes in any animal in need. I hope that more people visit this place and help with donations for the animals. Very informative and fun. Will be definitely visiting more often..

We took our kids to Bella Acres. We all had a blast. You can pet and be around some amazing animals. Jason Miller, the sanctuary owner, told us about his great story acquiring and maintaining the farm. He doesn’t harvest animals, so he basically takes care of all the animals until they pass away.

We just brought home our 2 month old American Staffordshire puppy from this farm sanctuary and had such an incredible experience here!Jason, the owner, is super kind and generous and has so much knowledge on all the animals here, which there are hundreds of. He has vast experience with the many staffies and chihuahuas on the farm as well as horses, alpacas, pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and many more.Whether or not you’re here to visit the animals and get away from urban landscapes or if you’re bringing home a new pet like us, I cannot emphasize enough just how welcoming Jason is and genuinely passionate he is about all the animals here. Truly a wonderful experience all round and will definitely plan a visit again!

I have been in communication this week with Jason at Bella Acres Farm and Sanctuary in regards to my 2 yr old English Springer Spaniel that has been having some behavioral issues and he has been extremely helpful. Easy to talk to and work with. He is doing great things on his farm helping and caring for the animals. He is great!!

Visited Bella Acres Farm today and Jason is so kind and genuine! He loves his animals and they love him back. Our daughter (3) had a blast. She fed goats, chickens, ducks and Mr. Turkey. We got to see baby piglets (2 weeks old) and pet bunnies. We truly had the best time. Love to support our local farms and this one will be on our to go to places often.

This place is amazing! I phoned to see if they could help me find a safe home for my neighbors dog. Unfortunately, she just learned she was no longer permitted to have in apartment. She was devastated and heartbroken. From the first hello Jason was remarkable! Helping us to secure a safe loving home for Bandit! I truly don’t know how he does it! But he is an angel for those animals. He is passionate about their care, and inviting to all to visit his farm. I cannot say enough about his amazing work, mission and compassion for all animals!

We were so happy to visit Bella Acres Farm & Sanctuary today! Searching for somewhere our daughter could see and pet animals close to home, this farm was recommended - and delivered much more than just that! The first thing we heard on arriving were the dogs - instantly catching our daughters attention and interest. She loves dogs... and ALL the other animals farmer Jason had us interact with at his sanctuary. Alpacas, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits... It was a delight to learn more about the care given to - and the bright future of - these animals, and fun for our little one to feed them, cuddle a few, and, why not, jump in the mud with the ducks?! We are so happy this is a part of our local community and look forward to the next time we can go!

Jason and Bella Acres are really worth visiting for a laid back, hands on experience just hanging out with all kinds of friendly animals. My wife and I had an extra motive: We were interested in an AmStaff puppy from a new litter. Instead, we ended up taking home a 6-month old pup from an earlier litter. This gave us the chance to really see his personality (which you can’t really tell at 8-12 weeks). Earl is now 8 mo’s old and such a winner. Smart, very trainable, lots of puppy energy but also able to entertain himself without chewing on the furniture. He’s also a great companion for our 9-year-old Pit-Boxer mix. Can’t thank Jason enough for providing such a loving healthy environment for Earl’s first 6 months!

This is a superb farm to take your family and the kids to. Amazing owner! Truly loves the animals. So much positive vibes. We had lovely time with the family. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommend!

Called the place picked up quickly , was very nice and professional didn’t have what I was asking for but called me back with a referral to a place and got me exactly what I wanted. Great customer service. Only thing they didn’t have was cows they have all sorts of animals you can think of.

Jason is a great guy who cares about all animals. Bella Acres is a sanctuary for many animals looking for forever homes. My family was fortunate to have met Jason and to have added Monty to our home. Jason was great to work with and is so knowledgeable about American Staffordshire Terriers. I would highly recommend Jason to anyone looking to add an Amstaff to their homes. Wow! Wow! Wow! That’s all I can say. We called Jason out of the blue to ask him if we could come to his farm. He was amazing. He was so gracious. He gave us so much of his personal time. We got to hold baby pigs, puppies, goats and interact with the animals. Jason is passionate about what he does. All the animals are rescue animals and they are being raised to live out their lives at his place. The animals are cared for so beautifully. He gives them as much free range as possible. He also created a beautiful pond area at the back of his property. This would be a lovely place for a wedding or birthday celebrations. Jason’s admission “ fee” is by donation only but by the time you leave you want to be a part of what he’s doing! Thank you so much Jason! We had a fantastic time!

I went to Bella Acres with my granddaughters. Ages 13,12,9 & 2. They all had a blast. The owner Jason took the time to explain and answer all the questions that the children had to ask. (And boy did they have a lot.) He was patient and kind. You can tell that he really cares about the animals and takes great care of them. The farm is very clean. Every time we go past now the kids want to stop and see him and the animals. I can see a lot more trips in our future to see the owner and the animals. Thanks Jason for a GREAT experience!!! We were looking to get an American Staffordshire puppy and seen a post with some available at Bella Acres Farm & Sanctuary. We read all the reviews on google about how great Jason is with all the animals and what he does for the community. Let me just say it is all very true! Jason does a fantastic job with all of his animals on the farm! He’s such a great guy and just wants the best for all of his animals, and for the ones available to find great homes! We were so lucky to find a puppy that matched and connected with us right away! And he’s doing so great at his new home! Thank you Jason for all the work you do for the animals and the community!

I was lucky enough to accompany my cousin (who has one of Jasons dogs) to meet Jason and all his animals. We spent over two hours at the farm. Jason is incredibly knowledgeable about his animals, farming and the history of the land. He was so accommodating and very patient with all of my questions. I just moved here from Louisiana and I didnt have space and time for my rabbit. So I called Jason and asked would he be able to take my rabbit and give her a good home. He showed me nothing but kindness and after seeing his farm I realized how wonderful her life would bethere! So glad I made a life long friend ! Loved them!!!!!

We had a great experience at Bella Acres Farm and Sanctuary this past weekend. The kiddos had a blast meeting all the goats, pigs, ducks, etc. Jason puts his heart and soul into this operation and it shows in the health of his beloved animals. We even acquired a new addition to our family. Jason raises American Staffordshire terriers and we adopted this beautiful angel who our daughter named Fiona.
