All of our experiences at the Westhampton Beach Animal Hopsital have been amazing. The doctors are thorough and patient. We always get a follow up call after an illness visit for which we are so grateful. Our dog also gets groomed there and they do a fantastic job,

So warm and caring as well as great vet care. Another vet practice scared me that my dog had melanoma. They looked at growth and immediately explained it was unlikely given its texture etc and biopsy proved they were right!

Such an amazing crew all the ladies in there are amazing doctor Hellard is an amazing vet I took my dog Capone in there recently to get neutered everything went great his recovery went great and he’s not back to running around acting like his goofy self. so thank you for taking care of my dog

Our experiences over the past years with WHB Animal Hospital have been nothing short of amazing, loving staff, wonderful doctors and the greatest dog grooming! Mason my service dog actually wags his tail and heads right in the dog like a kid waiting for the ice cream truck...he loves the tender loving care he receives all around.

My Golden Retriever is a big wiggly , high energy nut when at the vet. He has had some issues lately that have required multiple visits to Dr Pacer. Each visit Dr Pacer and each person we have seen has treated Hampton like a cherished pet and not the 100lb hyper active mess he is. In the past he was anxious to be there now he is excited to see his friends. We have had some complicated health issues to deal with and I cannot say enough about how thorough Dr Pacer is when finding and communicating the diagnosis along with the care needed. So glad to have Dr Pacer as our vet .

Dr. Heller and the staff helped both my older cat and younger cat recover from significant health issues. We had little hope that either would improve but the treatments proved very effective!

All my visits to the animal hospital have been top notch. Caring doctors and staff have been great.

Highly recommend the doctors and staff at WHB Animal Hospital. My dogs have been patients for many years and always received compassionate quality care and attention to their needs. In addition, my concerns were always addressed with patience and understanding.

My cat has not been feeling well for over a week. On and off high fever and all of a sudden she wasn’t able to stand or walk well, thankfully they’re open on Sundays and I called they got me in and Dr Hopek was amazing! He gave a thorough exam and the treatment he chose has already made a big difference in how she’s feeling. I highly recommend if you’re in need of a vet to go here! The office staff is so sweet. In such a stressful time they were all so helpful and comforting.

Dr Heller and staff were wonderful, our King Charles Spaniel was examined throughly , we were very pleased with the care given him , we plan to use Dr.Heller as Flynn’s vet from now on !

I have been taking my 4 year old PomChi to Dr. Heller since he was a puppy. They are great with him (and he is a bit of a divo!) He loves going there so much that I take him there to be groomed by Megan. I would highly recommend them!

The most compassionate and thoughtful animal hospital. They made our beautiful cat’s last hours as comfortable as possible!

My cat was dying and in pain and dr heller knew it. They milked me for 1300 dollars and in the end I had to put her down. He has no people skills or bedside manner. Dr bucalla would never have put me through that. I will never bring another animal there n until him I’ve been going there for 20 years. He sucks!!!!!

Every time we have brought one of our pets to Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital we have been impressed with the quality of care from the front room staff to the technicians to the veterinarians. Each vet we saw spent the time needed to thoroughly assess the problem and come up with a solid plan whether it was for storm phobia, stiff hips, heart murmur, or declining health in old age. I highly recommend them.

Just took Max, my almost 15 year old Havanese to them for the first time as he was constantly biting at his paws and scratching his ears. I just moved out to Quogue for the next 8 months and didnt want to drive 80 miles back to his usual vet. Well, they were terrific. Friendly service, comfortable and clean waiting area. The doctor gave Max an allergy injection and an ear gel that solved the problem for Max and educated me about the source of the problem. Was just an overall terrific experience and I plan to bring my other dog, Maddie, an 8 month old doberman/shepard mix for her flu shot.Thanks Again WBAH!David Solomons

I took my dog in for a wellness check as a new patient and was extremely pleased with my experience. The moment I walked in I noticed and loved the cleanliness they maintained in the waiting area as well as the exam room. They dont even have an odor as other facilities do ! Dr. Heller and staff were incredibly pleasant and gentle and took the time to answer and explain all details regarding the visit. I am so happy I found this facility and look forward to continuing the care for my dog with Dr. Heller. A million Thank Yous WBAH !

Boarded my Jack there and he usually stressed really bad. When I picked him up two of the staff brought him out and he was all happy. Rates for boarding were great. Everyone there are caring people.

The vets and staff are so nice. The place is sparkling clean. The groomer gives my doggie such a cute cut.

We were visiting the area and needed to find a vet immediately when we noticed our puppy had rolled on a tick nest and was infested. The entire staff was so sweet, gentle and understanding of the situation. Our pup was treated immediately. They followed up to make sure he was okay days later as well as any follow-ups we may need at our local vet. We appreciate Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital and will be back if ever needed!

Dr. Heller and the staff at Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital have taken good care of each of my dogs for nearly twenty years. Dr. Pacer is a wonderful addition to the team. She and technician Guillermo are kind and thoughtful in keeping my “best friend” healthy.

Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital is an excellent facility. We had an emergency while visiting Cupsogue. Our Staffy mix somehow got over 39 tucks removed from her ears; It was awful!!!! Dr. Jack and the office personnel were professional and kind. They accommodated us even though it was close to closing time on Memorial Day weekend. The residents of Westhamptom are very fortunate to have this excellent facility.

My wife Sharon and I were so happy with the service that your staff and veterinarian gave us in a situation where we had to put our pet (Dallas) down. Cancer of all things .. We love and miss our Buddy so much .. So thank you to your staff for the support and even sent out a sympathy card which we are very grateful.. 5 stars and more if I could for your team .. My dog, Spencer has been a patient at WB Animal Hospital since she was 12 weeks old. Staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. The docs are dedicated to the well-being of the animals they serve. I’d trust no other vet with my precious chihuahua.

Dr. Heller and his staff give prompt, outstanding care for our cats. On very short notice he and his Tech, Michelle have come to our home for sick kitties or well visits. He is very kind and caring and has a wonderful rapport with our furry friends. At this point, we wouldnt think of going anywhere else. There have been times when he traveled all the way from his home base in Westhampton Beach to our home in Wading River when our cats needed a visit, since they dont travel well. We are thankful to have found his service.

Had to bring my very protective German Shepard in for a lump on his head. The Doctor was VERY understanding of him. The Doctor was patient and thoroughly explained the diagnosis. The following week I brought in my Newfie with a lump as well on her chest/tummy area. Again, explained all of my options. Great Veterinarian and staff. And friendly priced.

I am a new dog owner. I came to Westhampton Beach Vet and animal hospital extremely nervous and with many questions. They were kind, patient and knowledgeable. They gave me a lot of guidance and information. The doctor, nurses and administrators are amazing! They treat every dog with love and affection. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of using them. They cut SAMY’s nails for free at her first visit. They are wonderful!

I am writing this because I think about my dog and his passing all the time.My childhood dog would be taken to this place as a kennel drop off, and my father would bring him whenever he had to leave the town for a while.I was awoken early in the morning in December 2018 to be told that my dog had passed. A 10 year old healthy boy who went on daily morning runs, and for his age, had no major health concerns.Duff passed in the care of these guys, and we were told, his stomach flipped, or inflated, but what would that mean? Doesnt that quite literally mean that he, while under the care of these guys, was either fed something strange or too much food in one sitting? Regardless, how does that happen under your care with nobody knowing anything is happening until someone finally finds him and its too late, hes gone?Im pained that he couldnt be in the comfort of his home where he was always loved and cared for, just to have left him in the trust of people who didnt care to watch him, or just think one size fits all, for how he should be fed.The most unfortunate part is that this is labeled as a hospital. A veterinarian hospital. Not a kennel, so one would absolutley hope that the amount of care going into watching your family member would have been much, much more. There should have been someone watching ALL NIGHT. The fact he died from poor feeding... This is what astounds me.I dont really know what else to say. Ive been told you guys were sweet about his passing, but it doesnt change the fact there was a lack of care for him when he was entrusted to you for safety.Thats all.

The staff is always super friendly, give my pup the care he needs and the time he needs, and the location is great. Been taking my dog since he was 6 weeks old and now hes 8 months old. Would absolutely give a 5 star if the prices werent a little high. Understandable for the location though!

I really like the new vet they have. He isnt unsure with my lab and GSD, who can both be a lot to handle. The clinic is clean and doesnt have that signature wet dog smell. The front desk staff is always friendly. Ive only been here twice (for a boarding and vaccinations) and they have exceeded my expectations.

Highly recommend taking your pet here. They take great care of Ziggy and fit me in for emergencies. They have great hours and are very responsive. They have taken care of all his whoodle needs since a baby. Dropped him off for boarding and he didn’t even notice I left. He loves it there.

A professional, knowledgeable staff provides excellent care for my two cherished cats. In case of an urgent situation, they go out of their way to accommodate you. Support staff is always cheerful and friendly.

First let me say i do not usually write reviews. I felt that i had too because Dr. Dowd was so wonderful!!! She gave my little Sophie(maltese) such a Thorough exam. Dr. Dowd really took the time with her when i brought her in after going to three other vets including a 24 hr emergency animal hospital in just under 10 days. My little dog has finally fully recovered. The front Desk Gal and Support staff were also wonderful. Love this place. Thank you

Excellent, professional, compassionate, dedicated. The Dr was willing to use a injection needle to draw a urin sample from the floor after my dog had an accident, amazing. He wanted to make sure to get everything to test to confirm what could be wrong. Called the next day with results, spent time on the phone answering all of my questions. Wants to test again to be sure about the results in 30 days.I felt cared about as the owner of my special little girl that might need ongoing care. Highly recommended, and thrilled about this practice.

All the doctors, especially Dr Heller, are very caring, compassionate & aware of expense issues for patients. They always provide options for any issues & explain all in detail. This is the best vet I have taken my pets to and would recommend them to everyone who does not feel they are using the best. Office staff really nice & helpful too!

Ive only been there twice and both times were emergencies. They had availability when other vets didnt. Overall their opening hours are great. Because of COVID I couldnt go inside and therefore cant rate the facility or staff members inside but everyone was nice to deal with. Unfortunately we had to put down one cat and they were very professional and let us do it outside below the big tree, which was very peaceful. Thanks for your help during those difficult times!

I had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Heller & staff into my home a couple of weeks ago. I have a 15 year old grumpy cat that refuses to go to the vet. He had lost a tooth and I was panicked he may have gum disease, or get a bad infection. I was desperate to get him to a Doctor, but really needed someone to come to us. A lot of recommendations from family and friends however no one would come to the East End. Thats when I found Dr. Hellers website accompanied with tons of 5 star reviews. Pet parents do not mess around! Dr. Heller was absolutely awesome, he even got down on my dining room floor trying to exam my wild boy. Luckily Dr. Heller and his assistant made it out with all their fingers! He gave my boy a shot to prevent infection and did the best he could in the situation. We are extremely grateful for him coming to our home. We would not hesitate to call him again or reccomend him!

The staff at Westhampton Beach Veterinary Hospital are friendly and caring. They are enthusiastic the minute we walk in the door. The medical staff take their time and listen to what we say. It is comforting to know they truest care.

The team at the Westhampton Beach Animal hospital is great. My pooch was stung by a bee and had a pretty severe reaction. As a new pet owner, they were caring, compassionate and listened to and answered all of my questions. I will be using this facility again and highly recommend them.

I called on July 4th , I’m from out of town. The receptionist was friendly and got my dog in right away. The Dr. was great. He listened to all of my dogs issues , gave me all my options and treated my dog with great care. Wish they were local to me.

Dr Heller and his team are the best. They care for my 3 elderly dogs. They remind us when we need vaccines. They have us on a tick routine that has eliminated ticks. They care. Reception and techs are great too.

Dr. Spyder is the most caring and gentle Doctor iv ever taken my pets too.She truly cares about all her pets she sees . She takes her time witheach animal and doesn’t hurry , She takes time to explain everything going on, I would never see any other Dr for my pets .

Dr. Heller helped my cat with asthma control her attacks instead of just treating the systems. She has not had an asthma attack since January 11, 2018. With her prior Vet, he would just treat her attack and wait for another one before treating her again. This is much better for her and me!

Living outside the US, I received erroneous emails regarding a client of Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital, including financial transactions and pet health history. I attempted to contact the clinic 3 times: twice by email and once through the contact us portal on the website. I received NO response and continued receiving emails. I finally made an international call, at my own cost, and received poor customer service, extremely little sympathy and very little appreciation for my attempts to let the clinic know they were sending out confidential information to the wrong email address. If you value you and your pets privacy, and responsive customer service, choose another clinic.

It has been very convenient seeing the doctor in Riverhead. We had an illness and were seen timely in Westhampton. When advice is needed we speak to the doctor immediately or receive a call back promptly. The entire staff is courteous and helpful.

Being an animal owner for 40-50 years. I have never found a vet that was as efficient and amazing as Dr. Spyder And Dr. Heller. They never give up on any pet.They give every animal a fighting chance inspite of what the diagnosis looks like. My one cat is alive today because of Dr. Spyder and my little dog has made a 90% turn around. God bless these 2 miracke workers!❤

WBAH is not my usual veterinary office, but they were open on a Sunday (which is great!) and I had an emergency with my cat. The staff members were so kind and welcomed us as if we had always been there. I highly recommend WBAH!

We travel 40 mins to this vet. It has been the only place that we found that had experience with our breed. The front desk girls are always super nice and helpful & I love that every time we go there is barely any wait time, the best for my lil crazy fur baby.

We got our new puppy, and went to Peconic Bay Animal Hospital for her fist check up. Dr. Heller and his assistant were wonderful explaining and everything and so loving to our new puppy.

Staff and doctors are always friendly and welcoming. Storm has a lleasant and calm visit every time. They truly care for their patients and humans.

3 minutes agoI live in Westhampton Beach.. On Tuesday, May 18th, 2021 my 6 year old beautiful Pomeranian (Hachi) died. My husband and I went for a short walk in our neighborhood. Walking up my driveway, Hachi fell on his left side. He couldnt walk.We immediately placed him in our car, 5 minutes away was the Westhampton beach Animal hospital. Hachi was barely breathing. An assistant was outside the front entrance. We advised her of the events and we needed to see a doctor. She went in and 5 minutes later said, the doctor couldnt see him and to take him 20 minutes away to the Emergency hospital in Riverhead. He was DEAD On Arrival. It pains me to feel the lack of compassion and sympathy for an animal in obvious distress from this clinic. I dont want to give this hospital even 1 star.

They were very nice but I would not recommend for boarding for a few reasons, especially for a dog with anxiety and/or challenges:- was very clear the people that work in the back have little to no dog experience, no confidence in taking my dog into the back- they leave the dogs for 14 hours on weekdays, 16 hours on weekends, without access to use the bathroom- my dog came back with a broken tooth - they didn’t do a post-exam so it took me a few days to notice and now I’m stuck with a few thousand dollars worth of a vet bill to fix it

Always polite and you can tell they care about all of the animals that walk through the door. The vets are the best and really take the time with the animals. Five stars

I have been a client of the Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital for almost twenty years. Since the staff is friendly, caring and accommodating I am happy to drive there even though other veterinary clinics are closer to my home.

This office has always been practical and also compassionate when I’ve needed them for my pet care. On top of the best treatments too. Highly recommended.

I will never take another pet to Dr. Heller. He overdosed my dog on a medicine she did NOT EVEN NEED!! He medicated her before any blood work or other test results were back and my dog was dead within 24 hours of our visit to the vet from hell. Turns out the test results were all negative and no medication was necessary.

Dr. Heller and Dr. Spyder are the best. They saved my Sammy. I took him in the office verySick. Dr. Heller diagnosed him wi th a urinaryy blockage. Sammy stayed in the hospital a came home and now he he is better.Thank you so much

Great pkace to take your pet no matter what the situation. Great Doctors and tge staff are quick on their feet to help. Clean environment and pets seem to love boarding there.

I no longer live in NY but I am frequently here visiting family. Dr. Heller was kind, knowledgeable, and figured out almost instantly why my senior baby Ralphie was having pain. Here we are 24 hours later and Ralph is back to normal. Dr. Heller will now be my go-to when I’m on the island.

The vet was very thorough and reassuring. The staff was helpful. They treated my dog like he was their own.

In this difficult time I have to say they handle your pets visit very well. Everyone was very pleasant. Dr Heller very nice and informative.

Went in to see Dr. Heller with my dog late on a Saturday. Most of the places around were closed. He graciously took us last minute and took excellent care of my dog. Highly recommend this hospital.

I recently switched vets and am beyond happy I did so. Westhampton vet saved my fur baby. The Dr.’s are professional and explain everything every step of the way.

I was afraid of picking a hospital for my Coco where I didnt get honest answers or kind staff. The Vet, tech and secretary were all very nice and supportive and were willing to answer all of my questions. I recommend them!

We brought our beloved Jake to WBAH in extremis. Although never a patient and in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis, the entire staff did their best to aid Jake. The love, sympathy and support expressed by the entire professional staff eased the pain of our loss. We will always be grateful.

Westhampton beach animal hospital is the very BEST DR.S I would not take my dogs anywhere else..

We had a wonderful experience with drHeller. Purchased an adorable but what turned out a very sick puppy from a store and when brought him to the clinic, the doctor diagnosed pneumonia and referred promptly for admission to a hospital -even called himself to ensure the puppy will have a spot. Ultimately the puppy was cured and we are so happy that the doctor caught it in time and the puppy is well now.

The doctors and staff at the Westhampton Animal Hospital are absolutely terrific. The clinic provides first rate care for our furry feline members of our family. No matter how busy they are, they work hard to get you an appt at your preferred time. We heartily recommend this place of excellent veterinary care!

WHB Animal Hospital was professional and kind in the care of my senior pup, Muffin. She passed at 16 yrs old. I received a sympathy card from them hand signed by each member of the staff. When I am ready to bring home a new furbaby, I will definitely be taking her here.

Highly suggest not using this vet. They are not thorough. I have an overall healthy toy poodle. But lately she has been itching. Every single time I went (which was many times!) searching for an answer, they turned me away, telling me my dog was fine. They never gave her a thorough exam. My dog was also in the ER for eating too much sand a couple weeks ago, which I made clear to the vet. They did not even follow up about it. Come to find out she had really serious stomach issues as a result. They did not suggest changing her food, insisting she was fine. And for the itching, they gave her an antibody shot which actually made her stomach worse (I went to a much better vet afterwards who provided so much relief and calmed me down by providing a thorough exam and professional information). Also come to find out, typically young puppies dont even develop allergies! This lack of professionalism is really horrible. Do not go here.

I brought my Carin Terrier age 15 with diarrhea for almost 2 mounts. I saw Dr Heller and he gave me some prescription diet Muti-Benefit w/d, along with some antibiotics, with in three days he is a normal dog again. I also brought my Newfoundland who had allergies comen with Westhampton. He gave him a antibiotic shot which last for two weeks an his inching has stop. He had a growth on his lip. In stead of operating he gave me medicine cream. I was supposed to come back in two weeks. But it finely started to shrink so I have not gone back yet. Hopefully there is no operation. And all is well.

Great bedside manner from the doctor. Did not wait long. Good prices. Will be coming back.
