So far so good! They are very good with my baby Luna. I’m a new mom kitten and they have walked me through fleas and everything I need to make sure my baby is safe and healthy

They were good two years ago when I first visited but now they are so scattered, its concerning. I had to call several times to make the appointment for my three cats because the reception kept putting me on hold and never got back to me. When I arrived they forgot I was there so I had to wait more than 30 minutes. When they finally saw me, they kept confusing my cats and even thought I had 4 even though I corrected them it was 3. That staff was pricing me about products before confirming my cat needed them. Too many red flags so I left midway during the appointment. The doctor lectured me I wasted his staff time and didnt understand why I was concerned neither he or his staff was paying attention to the cats.

Dr. Ben is great. My cat Biggie has been going to him for the past 4 yrs for his megacolon condition and gets his continuous treatment. His staff are also very polite and friendly.

I took my dog there on the 23rd of July 2024 because she was in a bad way. Granted she was an older dog, she was screaming in pain, breathing very fast and she wasnt eating or drinking times 1 day. I called the clinic and was told to bring her in immediately. I brought her in, she was put on oxygen, evaluated and the doctor determined she had an inoperable tumor in her abdomen and euthanasia might be the only viable option. I wanted her to get pain meds to go home with and I would have preferred for her to go peacefully at home. My sons overrided my decision and she was euthanized that day. I was informed she would be ready for pickup the following week. No one called me, so I called. They apologized and stated she would be ready the following week and they would call me. Last week no one called again. I called and spoke to the office manager, Jocelyn, or so she said and she informed me my dog would be ready tomorrow and she would call. That was three days ago! I asked for the number of the crematorium to speak to the people myself and they talked over me like I didnt exist. This place is nice enough until after your check clears! Im ready to report them to the Better Business Bureau. Theyll call me, one way or the other.

I am making his review from a new account, as the clinic is clearly searching up customer accounts. Here is our story: I would NEVER recommend anyone take their pet to this clinic, as the experience left our family deeply traumatized. This business is a perfect example of you get what you pay for. The younger vet techs there are kind, and are the ONLY reason for 1 star. In our experience, St. Mina is providing substandard care at a low cost to folks who need it most, a deeply troubling business model you can see clearly across the reviews (and responses) here and elsewhere. The clinic is dirty, understaffed, often crowded, the exam rooms are poorly lit and in need of update, and appointments with Drs are constantly interrupted by vet techs coming in and out to access equipment (this should not be the customer’s problem), creating a environment of instability from the minute you enter.Our experience is as follows——> When our pet needed dental care, we called over 20 clinics in the city and St. Mina was half of the cost of others- *this* should of been the first indication that something was wrong. At nearly every visit the clinic was scattered, late with appointments, mixing up pet names/saying incorrect information/reasons for visiting. When we picked our pet up from the dental care, our pet and the carrier was soiled and there was no mention or attempt to clean our pet up, and this lack of care and awareness continues through to our experiences with the Drs at this location. We received no consultation as to what to do next to ensure our pets teeth remained in good health.---- Our primary experiences are with Dr. Benyamin, who is clearly is knowledgable, but his bedside manner is nonexistant, both with his vet techs (consistently rude / cold) and with us as customers. Regardless of the issue severity, he would rush to determine with diagnosis, steamroll over our descriptions/explanations, not provide clear why for each step that was being taken, and would not outline what to expect going forward, possible outcomes or complications to come. Even when asked, the answers were rushed and uninformative, feeling like the Dr was annoyed I asked.Reading reviews here you can see this is a frequently mentioned trait, and it was deeply unsettling after each visit to look back and realize we had very little clarity as to what was coming next, or what we just paid for. No amount of savings is worth being in the dark about your loved ones. This culminated in discovering my pet had severe cancer, the delivery of which was given to us by Dr. Benyamin with a simple sigh and “your pet has one month to live” and no subsequent information. Dr. Benyamin showed empathy, yes, but no more than a furrowed expression and a moment of apology. At *no time* were we offered information on how to make ensure our pet’s end-of-life care was adeuqate, what signs to look for to make the decision to put the pet down, or any follow up calls to check on our pet’s condition. This is a basic level of consideration I have experienced at other vets for my entire life, but was wholly absent here. The *WORST* part of this entire story is when we returned to put our pet down. We arrived for our appointment to put down our animal, and we sat in the waiting room for *AN HOUR* later than our scheduled appointment, with a frail and dying animal on our lap, in a waiting room of other animals. We were not given any updates on timing or lateness until a few moments prior to being seen, when the vet tech, not Dr, anxiously apologized while running between exam rooms. The final offense; as Dr. Benyamin entered the exam room, he was unaware of our visit reason and upon seeing our animal commented “oh the one with the tumors” - !!?? - the sheer lack of awareness, sensitivity, and bedside manner in the most awful moment a pet owner can experience? This sealed the deal that we would never return again. Please, get pet insurance and a Care Card if cost is a burden, and visit a place that can deliver consistent and loving care for your animals.

Horrible service. I brought in a street cat and the weekend vet didnt do anything unless I asked, no dewormer, no checking for fleas (and she did have more and needed to be given more flea meds!), didnt look at her face...not a thing until I asked for it.It was so stressful. He seemed to want to get out of the room as soon as possible. He didnt notice that she was dehydrated and needs serious dental work. Im certain they weighed her incorrectly as well, and Im not even sure how thats possible.It was a last resort sort of situation, so I guess it could have been worse. Our girl is doing okay now, but a competent vet has given us a list of issues the first vet couldnt be bothered to notice.

On google maps they say the open at 8: 30 am, but I ended up waiting outside until 9 for them to open, my cat passed away waiting outside and I’m so devastated. The girl at the front was super nice but she said that the doctor doesn’t come in until 10am. Please be aware of this if you’re planning to go for an emergency

Dr. Benjamin is a great vet. He listens to all the concerns and provided good care to my cat with a bite wound. Her wound is healing well with the medicine he recommended. His office staff is friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I highly recommend bringing your pet to this office.

Stopped by St. Mina after finding a stray kitty in our neighborhood. The staff was so kind and helped me check for a chip and search the lost and found pages online. When it looked like nobody had posted about her, Cheyenne helped teach us everything we needed to know about caring for her until we helped to find her forever home. Best animal clinic in Queens. 💕🐈

St. Mina is a wonderful vet / animal clinic. They are kind, helpful and full of great advice. They have helped us on more than one occasion with strays, highly recommended.

The vets at St Mina said we needed a special prescription diet for our dog. We had her on the diet for two months but when we made the third months order on Chewy the vet said they would not fill the script without a fee. They gave us no notice or mention of the fee prior to the last refill and now our dog is now out of food. St Mina is very shady. They will nickel and dime you and your animals health will suffer.

Dr.Benyamin is an excellent, no nonsense, knowledgeable veterinarian. I brought one of my cats for the first time recently and was very happy with the excellent treatment he received. Incredibly fair prices is an added plus. Highly recommend!

First time visiting was referred by my daughter who absolutely loves her babies doctor there. Wellness checkup for my two boys. Staff was friendly, office was super busy to the point I felt I was rushed out wasnt able to ask all the questions. Shame on me but it was a bit overwhelming. If a next time will ask for my daughters babies doctor. FYI: apprently face mask optional. Everyone did not have one on staff included.

10/10 Experience, I was assisted by Tia she handed my dog Usopp like the professional she is! Usopp got all of his shots. Will come again!

Best Vet! Honest and caring staff. Dr. Benjamin truly cares for his patients and takes the time to thoroughly explain everything in detail. He will not try and sell any extra diagnostic testing and/or treatment. Have trusted him and his staff with my furry babies for years now. Moved out of town and still travel to see them for the best care.

If I could give this place a ZERO star I would. Everyone if you love you pet DONT bring them here. This place and Dr. BENYAMEN only care about money. We brought our pet here and they told us she has pyometra and a tumor on her mamma. We had scheduled the surgery but needed to change the date they were telling us we needed to do the surgery that day if not our dog could die at home over the weekend. Surgery took place on a Friday and she was supposed to stay for 3 days. The NEXT day they were calling with the same urgency for us to pick her. They probably didnt want her passing under their care.When my sister picked her up she couldnt even sit without falling over. She asked if shes ok to bring home because she wasnt even sitting. They said shes fine. Brought her home and less then 24 hrs later she passed at home. Dr. Benyamen said shell be back to her normal self. I called the office to get his license number for legal purposes and he didnt want to give me his license number. He claimed I had to pay back the discount he gave us in order to give me his license. All they see is $$$ here. Please I repeat dont bring your pets here.

So Dr Benjamin was not available and a different doctor came out she prescribed and dewormer did not recognize bloat and did not give a meds for diarrhea so I am still dealing with this little guys pain also no antibiotics when I get kittens from the street I like first to rule out infection with antibiotics so the ratings went down I will monitor and if I have to go to blue pearl then I will they are expensive but they do get to the source as emergencies sdj the next two days Dr Benjamin took care by giving the shot now monitoring for 3 days it takes the uti to respond then he should pee on his own today is day 2 will go back tomorrow to see the Dr again and he is now peeing like a race horse lolololo they did it again ❤️

Great Vet, Great prices! Doesnt try to push you to do more than needed, very open minded to your choices! We take our Puppy & Kitten here and couldnt be happier!

I am 35 and I have been going to them since I was about 16/17 years old. I live in The Bronx BUT I take my Lola all the way to Queens because I want to stick to a clinic that I know and trust. Her recent visit was around 2 or 3 weeks ago for a shave and the Groomer did a wonderful job. The pics are below💜💜Update April 2021I have been going to this Clinic for years but last week Friday was my last time taking my Lola there. The Receptionist I have been dealing with for quite sometime was rude as hell and yes I gave attitude back because she knew what she said made no sense at all. On top of that, the Groomer sent my Lola back with her face still dirty and didnt even cut the hair from around her eyes. I dont know how to add the picture on this post but yall can see it in the photo tab. I dont know whats going on with the Employees and/or company but they need to go back how they were before.

Extremely disappointed with this office. I’ve been coming here since 2019. Never had an issue getting prescription food or having any visits taken care of. Today they declined to fill my cats prescription food because she hadn’t been there for “over a year”. Fully aware that she is due for a checkup next month, as she went at the end of February.The pale lady at front desk tends to be rude, like she was today on the phone. I asked to speak with Dr. Benjamin and he said he can only approved one box, because my cat needs to be brought it asap for testing because it’s now their requirement. I’m sorry but, this was never a requirement to do it over a month before the anniversary date of their checkup. My cat has been on Royal Canin for over 5 years per their recommendation to prevent any UTI’s.This has turned into a money-grab, as the urine and full blood panel, checkup is a little over $500. It’s now bring your cat when we say or she doesn’t get her food.Last year after rescuing a stray, they charged over $2K for her to get spayed with the checkup. I’ve always recommended this place for their excellence service. But after todays interaction and moneygrab business their running, I’ll be switching vets for my cats.Edit: their response shows the poor professionalism. Now they’re asking for bloodwork every 6 months for a pet that does not have a chronic illness. Just to get prescription food to prevent UTI’s as the pet ages.

Wonderful staff very considerate and the affordable prices are just a few reasons why this is now the only place Ill take my animals for continuing medical care!

Took my 2 older dogs, Haley who is 13, Harley who is 16. Everyone was helpful, considerate, and caring. The vet took some samples from Haley and called the next day with results, I appreciate that. One other positive - they have a groomer. I made a separate appointment for Harley and she got a cute summer cut.

Dr. Benyamen is awesome. Caring and very patient. He is wonderful with our cats! The staff is nice too.

I just had an emergency and the staff here was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. They took care of us and made sure everything was okay. I highly recommend them, and they were affordable and reasonably priced. Thank you so much.

PLEASE GO TO THIS VET. Ive been to about three different vets in my life. This vet is hands down the best one Ive been too. Theyre straight forward, nice and affordable. This will now be my permanent vet.

Great staff that truly cares about your concerns and wonderful Veterinarians. Dr. Benjamin, the primary vet, is the best!In 2017 my cat, Bizzy, who is no longer with me, was well taken care of when it was her time to pass on. The staff and Dr. Benjamin helped me greatly through the process. When it was time to get her cremated, they allowed me to stay in a room and greave until I decided to leave. (I still miss her.)Dr. Benjamin is very considerate and understanding to all of your needs. Talk to him about any concerns you may have. Hell do his best to assist you. There are 1-2 other experienced vets there, too. However, I make it my effort to have appointments when Dr. Benjamin is there. (I dont discredit any of the other veterinarians work. Im just spoiled. 😊)They have a groomer only on Fridays from 9a-5p by appointment only. I know thats kind of difficult to manage for some. But you can leave your pet over night for a minimal fee and pick them up the next. My dog came out beautiful; a job well done. As usual, prices vary depending on dog size, but thats general for most groomers.Im sure you and your pet will have a great experience!

Incredibly friendly staff! Made a few regular visits here during my first year with my Dog. He took to the staff and they gave him a lot of love right back. They didnt mind doing complementary nail trims after the visit. Dr. Benyamin was a great caretaker for my puppy.

Dr Benjamin is a very kind, polite, caring and a professional veterinarian. He has helped hundreds of rescue cats. Dr. Benjamin genuinely cares for his patients. I def recommend pet owners to get pet insurance because the Dr. and staff cant help if you cant cover the very reasonable fees for visits and shots etc. If you go elsewhere they charge an arm and a leg. St. Minas staff is very helpful and courteous.

Great all was awesome staff and Dr everyone was great! But 2 days in we found a problem with our dog who has not gone out since we took him in and found a tick. Scare the scap out of me. But we got it out thank God. I brush him every two day. And the morning of I did the same thing .

Nice staff and great doctors. Sometimes is a little busy but just make time for your furry babies in case you have to wait a little.

Care is good. Follow up is great. A little dusty in appearance. Satisfied with care and pricing. They have a groomer on the premises on Fridays. Changing my vet and going here as it is easier for me to get to and the care is good.

This is one of the most affordable places in our boroughs and not a money Hungary Vet AT ALL! The doctor is amazing and really cares for his patients. I totally recommend this place to all.

Theyre ok, the people working there are super nice and super friendly. They were also great at handling my little old man of a dog, which is a thumbs up...However! I asked if they do monthly plan payments because Im not very hefty with money and all of our bills are paid simultaneously every beginning of each month with the very little we get, which they apparently dont do. Instead, they offer a credit-type thing, which I dont qualify due to little to note credit history. So now I cant get x-rays or blood work done on my dog because they want to charge 400 bucks in one shot!And dont get me wrong, 400 isnt too bad, but I cant pay a sum like that in one shot, only monthly plans work best for me and is a bit more on the affordable side. Now my dog has to suffer because no one takes monthly plan payments and it has to be through credit. If it wasnt for this, I wouldve given 5 stars...

Front desk staff are very attentive, friendly, welcoming and respond in a professional manner, the veterinarian is AMAZING, hes patient and answered all of my questions in regards to what can happen after my puppy received her vaccines and what measures should be taken. As well as the Vet assistants theyre just as involved. I am a first time dog mom, and this clinic has made my experience wonderful. I will continue bringing Koko to St. Mina Animal Clinic :-)

I wish i can give ZERO STARS! 1st issue i had was when my dog was acting weird and he told me the dog had a toothache, i took him somewhere else because he wasn’t getting better and was told it was pancreatitis and nothing was wrong with his teeth. A year later in a panic i took my dog back during the pandemic because no where else had availabilities. The vet told me he had heart and liver issues provided me with meds and $800 later my dog was worse than before! I kept going back to the vet because my dog wasn’t eating , sleeping all day and was drinking too much water. Dr Ben told me it was normal. In no way Is that normal for my food loving energetic shihtzu ! I decided to go to a specialist for testing which was 1k after everything and was told there wasn’t anything wrong with my dogs heart or liver and he didn’t need the medication. The meds were in fact the reason my poor dog wasn’t eating and was feeling so bad. Final issue, I take my dog to get groomed every 3 months . The groomer is great I’ve never had an issue with Sara, Recently i picked my dog up to see he had eye irritation and could barely open his eye and what appeared to be a cut by his eye and he was acting skiddish! (He’s had prior issues with his eye but since our last visit he’s been fine) I called immediately and was told to bring him in the following morning at 10:30 am which I did. Upon arrival my dog pooped everywhere including on me and all over my front seat. Obviously something is wrong with my dog !! He has never done that before. The groomer was so nice she bathed him for me but i sat there covered in feces. I was told i would have to wait because the dr was running late. Okay no problem. The Dr began seeing his other patients instead of my dog. I waited until 12pm before speaking up . Frustrated but still being nice i asked the Receptionist aka the “manager” when would i be seen i was told in a moment. So i asked again , this time i was rudely told you’re next is that better? When i replied i was told “you can leave” !! Um excuse me? Of course i told her off. How rude and unprofessional!! My dog can barely open his eye due to this establishment!! I will not leave Dr Benyamin needs to provide answers!! Fast forward the dr didn’t do anything useful for my dog after the visit . My dog can still barely open his eye. Had it not been for the nice groomer I would’ve never went back to St Minas . The other staff members are great though. The Dr & Manager are trash !!!!After all of these years you’re still calling my male dog “her” Off to a new vet we go. I would not recommend this vet to anyone! If you love your pet please go elsewhere !!

Dr Benyamen and his staff are AWESOME! They are friendly, courteous and very professional. Dr Benyamen shows he cares for your pets and you as well. When my babies needed him he was always there . They are in great hands!

Dr. Benyamen is honestly the best vet you can find! He is honest and will not do unnecessary testing if your pet does not need it like other places I been too. He has been seeing my sassie since she was a puppy and always taken good care of her. I trust him with her because he is kind and just very professional. I drive from a different borough because the care his office gives to my pet is just amazing.The parking is decent depending the time, you can most likely find something by the meters. His prices are reasonable he gives you options on what to do for your pets. I would highly recommend him to anyone he will not disappoint you or your pet.

They bought the business from the last Vet that was there, Dr Fish. I have to admit I do like the new Dr better. Hes always pleasant, will tell you when tests or services arent really necessary and takes the time to answer all your questions. I havent had a vet who seemed to care more about the animal then the fees (not the last Vet, but another one). BRAVO!

Absolutely phenomenal veterinary clinic. Twice they helped me with injured semi feral cats. Both times they offered quality, caring service at very affordable prices.

Great vets and very caring. Doctor Bengamin has been so good to us. Two years ago my dog had passed away from a form of cancer and it broke my heart. He not only cared for my dog he was great and comforting to us. Thanks again Dr. B

Dr. Benyamen is the best vet Ive ever been to and I have been to many. He takes his time explaining everything you need to know. Everyone I recommend Dr. Benyamen to are very satisfied, and plan on coming back. Theyve also recommended him to others that have pets. They are also very satisfied with their service and staff.Hes always glad to see you and your pets. Which he treats as if they were his. Hes absolutely the best vet Ive ever been to.

Paid my bill..needed flea meds 4 my cats didn’t have another $100. so returned when I had $$ .refused 2 sell on the orders of dr.Vet”/Karen”@ desk, I was in shock I couldn’t believe .will never__return 2 St Mina animal clinic. no respect for their clients or their pets.. how much $$ can they get from u. that’s their motto…STAY AWAY. From here…..Only assistance with tattoos was so sweet -caring…they should take lessons from her…nasty front desk’’KAREN”..as well dr.VET shop owner .. don’t come here… find another vet. front desk ‘Karen needs 101lessons in customer service.. this was right after I paid my bill in full.. $300.but yet they won’t sell me flea medication…didn’t have extra $$$ , DR.ordered not to sell me the meds….

The place is a total ripoff. The Dr. cannot distinguish between a male & a female kitten. The dont keep the right schedule. I had to wait in the car for about 45 minutes (in order to pickup my kitten). I certainly wouldnt recommend the place.As a response to the Dr.s Office Review, I also have the papers showing that the Dr.s wrote that my pet is a male.I said that is a male, because a specialist said that is a male. I didnt knew that the Dr. didnt knew to make a distinction between a male & a female.I wont remove my Review. People should have the right to know who theyre dealing with...Im not even discussing the prices here...

My son brought this baby kitten home right away we feel in love with puddles. We were concerned and wanted to get all his shots and get him neutered and when we came Animal Clinic we were treated with the utmost respect and I highly recommend St. Mina animal clinic ...P.S. They even trimed his very sharp nails.

Our 8 year old cat suffered an agonizing and painful death due to the negligence of Dr. Benjamin and his staff. The after surgery care he received was incompetent and caused him to die 5 days after surgery. He entered the facility with a good appetite and acting normally. He was released 4 days after the surgery weak, incoherent, not eating and in stress. He died 48 hours later in our arms as we tried to keep him alive. We are heartbroken and will forever regret going to St. Minas. The lack of sympathy was evident and we had to pay for a cremation.

Recently used St Mina Animal Clinic for routine vaccinations and boarding service.Very friendly staff, wasnt overly priced and wait time was reasonable.Definitely recommend St. Mina Animal Clinic.

During Covid I brought a puppy and he had parvo , I waited some time not knowing how much this could affect him but Dr . Benyamin SAVED my puppy’s life and tried to work with my price range . Amazing doctor !

A little less than a year and a half ago, I brought my dog to this vet. She was not doing too well and I needed to know the specifics of her pain/suffering. I was informed with everything I already knew. She is old, has cataracts, but other than that, she is fine. Her white blood count is just a little high. It will be hard for her to walk simply because of her age. I did NOT need to go to the vet for what I already knew. I sought out a second opinion and the news devastated me. Not only was my old puppy getting old (which I knew), her white blood count was 10 times over what it should be, which meant her body was fighting something much worse than old age and she would not win that fight against infection. The second opinion I sought out frightened me, but gave me the information I needed to know so that I knew what my dog was going through and what she would soon be facing. It would become harder for her to walk, because of the infection in her cervix. She would drink an unprecedented amount of water, because her thirst could not be quenched and her kidneys were failing. Her back legs would not be able to hold her tiny stature, again, because of her kidneys. She would urinate frequently, and evidently would begin to suffer greatly. Had I not sought out a second opinion, I would not have faced the reality of my pooches suffering or her condition. I would only recommend this veterinarians office to have nails clipped. Nothing more.

I love this this place , I come all the way from the Bronx to see benyamen he’s been the best . He’s compassionate And caring towards my pets . He take time to explain and answer all your concerns . My boy was sick I was at the Manhattan hospital they wanted me to put my dog down right there I called benyamen . And he told me her take you pet out he’s not ready . I did I got to spend 2 more month with my pet till it was time . Thank you benyamen your the best ♥️

Weve been taking our pets here at least since I was born. Dr. Fish may come off as nasty or stoic, but hes a great doctor. Hes not for everyone, as hes not very comforting, but he knows what hes doing, and personally I think thats the most important thing.

Been there for something basics, nothing bad, until my cat needs some treatment for his skin, doctor prescribed some medicine caused my cat to have diarrhea, which is ok because I totally understand doctors need to try out medicine sometimes to see how animal responds to certain type of medicines. BUT when i brought my cat back and told the doctor about the diarrhea, INSTEAD OF saying Stop this medicine and see if diarrhea stop, then we can try to figure something else to work, he directly prescribed some more other medicines. I asked what are these for, he told me Its to stop the diarrhea. So what he mean is keep using the medicine causing the diarrhea and in the same time treating the diarrhea...??? How ridiculous? I said No, diarrhea is caused by the medicine, the diarrhea would stop if i stop giving him that medicine, I dont need anything else. and the doctor say Ok, fine. without explaining why he suggested that? or any other way of working this out? nothing... but acting as just a salesman failed a sale... strongly disappointed me, feel like the doctor is not treating my cat, but to find reasons to prescribe medicines for me to buy... I never went back again.

Dont come here if you value your money. They performed an X-ray when they already knew my cat swallowed something. The doctor already felt for it when examining her. This is just a trick to get $230. Then the meds were another $200. There are better vets you can go to in order to save money.

The doctor is great with animals . However I think they are likely more expensive

I bought my fur baby Lord Disick in for a possible ear infection. I walked into a nice greeting from the young lady sitting at the front desk. I was checked in and seen promptly. I will most definitely make this my dog home vet! Thank you!

They are all very kind to her ❤. I travel from Brooklyn just to get her nails clipped. So worth the ride. I have been going to this location many years starting with Dr Fish. And will continue to go there for all my dogs.

I used to take my 3 pets there when Dr. Fish was the doctor. We went there by default when our cat Lucky was sick. The new doctor told us that our cat needed all tests and x-rays. $600. later he prescribed meds , including supplements we didnt ask for. bottom line my cat died 3 weeks later, and the vet is a rip off. I had to itemize my bill before leaving to make sure that I was not buying anything I didnt want.

All the staff are very friendly, my dog was in the hospital for three days but unfortunately she had kidney failure and just passed away last night, they took care of her while she was there. Very compassionate. 😢😢😢😢😢😢

Horrible place to take your pet for care. If your love your pet stay away from this place. I took my dog to have its ears crop. One ear was cut smaller than the other and one ear started bleeding really bad, so I call them to express my concern and their response was, bring him tomorrow we are closing now, needless to say I took my pet to another vet around me that same day, who re-stitch the ear that was bleeding, and kept my dog overnight. They could not believe how bad of a procedure this vet had done.This should have cost me 450 ended up costing me 700. Lesson learned. Do a better research and read reviews like this. Unlike the other reviewer that took his pet back to them to correct the chop ears, I did not do it, I did not want to cause my dog more pain than what they had cause. Lucky for the other guy they fix it without no further damage.

St. Mina Animal Clinic and Dr. Benyamen saved my cats life! After three days of vomiting and discomfort, I didnt think Chester was going to survive. We brought him to St. Mina where they found an obstruction in his small intestine and he needed surgery (not an easy surgery). Dr. Benyamen operated on him and within an hour, I got the call that they found the obstruction, removed it, and kept him there on fluids for 3 days to help him recover. One week later, Chester has made a full recovery (and this is after a vet in NYC said he would never be the same). I rarely leave reviews, but I highly recommend St. Mina to any owner. Dr. Benyamen is great at what he does, and he cares! 5-star place!

Expect to wait over 1 hour to be seen (yes even if you have an appointment doesnt matter). My appt was at 11am and wasnt seen until 1230pm. Going forward will save time and money by going to Petco for vaccinations.

They were very professional and pleasant they saw my shtizu as a walk in after I had been trying to find a very nice one would do a walk in .They also do grooming their processes are reasonable Im going to deal with them for now on

The dr didnt seem to be much of a pet lover and didnt comfort us on the operation , so we pick my do up with no aftercare instruction , my dog became aggressive after the surgery .We took him to a different vet and found out that the doctor left some sutures inside my dog!! Worst vet ever stay away from this place!!!!

My cat was neutered here and was not provided with a cone after surgery. I was told it wouldn’t lick itself and a cone wasn’t needed. Turns out it needed the cone for 7-10 DAYS. if it doesn’t get the cone it would get an infection and die

My Ariel was attended here. The doctor answered all my questions and doubts. When I left her I felt comfortable and that she is in a safe place.

Vets are competent. Testing is expedient but as usual prices are high. Insurance is expensive. Id rather have a service plan with a vet directly than pay an insurance company. Vets care for the animals.

My dog has been sick for five days after taking shots and getting haircut at this clinic contact them and they told me they’re not responsible for my dog if my dog dies what am I supposed to do this clinic changed when Dr. Fisher was there it was better this doctor is garbage he is a nasty man be careful your dog might end up dying or they care about is money

This is a great vet: affordable, efficient and caring. I brought our cat here, a feral whod lived in our yard for years, with a seriously infected wound that ran from his mouth to his ear. The vet sedated him, cleaned the wound, stitched him up (it was a big job that required a lot of stitches) and gave him an antibiotic shot. A few days later I brought him back to get a drainage tube removed. During that second visit the vet neutered our cat and gave him all his shots. Three months later hes a happy and healthy indoor cat, and only goes outside for entertainment. The wound took two months to heal, but heal it did.

A few days ago I got a 3 month puppy she is a Maltese Shi Tzhu. Its my first time since I was a child that I had a pet. So everything was so new to me. So I started searching for a Vet right away. I saw the reviews and I have to say they are so true this place is amazing. The first thing when I booked my appointment I spoke to Leslie very sweet and kind, she answered all my questions and concerns. I booked my appointment the same day thank God they had an opening. Dr. Benjamin is so generous and caring, he explained all that I had to do to take good care of Luna. The nurse was also so caring. I highly recommend this location. I also found out they do boarding which is like babysitting for pets and they have a phone line after hours. I am a happy camper with my lovely Luna and happy with your services. I can thank you enough.

I dont usually write reviews but I felt I had to do something good for this office after the great experience I had. Took my dog here because his vet was not able to fit him in for an emergency. He was vomiting and wasnt himself,i was soo worried. From the moment I walked in the people at the front desk make me feel so welcome and the doctors and nurses are soo amazing and caring! They treated my dog like he was their own! Prices are very reasonable and they only run tests your pet actually needs. I will be making them my dogs primary vet! I highly recommend.

Very caring local vet. We brought in a stray cat we found and they were great with him.

I have taken several dogs yo this clinic and they always did all they could to heal and/or save the animals. I read some of the bad reviews and many of them come from people who have a hard time understanding that pets eventualy will be of a certain age and then pass to a better life. As far as I know this clinic, including Dr. Fish who has retired, has always been professional and helpful. Also I find it convenient for other clinics to speak badly of their competition. This clinic has saved two eyes from two different dogs, when other place said in one of these cases that one of the dogs would lose the eye. They perform teeth scaling at a much affordable price than many other places with great results. I will keep bringing my pets here.

This place is the worse . First off I took my American bully there to get his ears crop. Dr fish did a horrible hack job . I notice after cleaning and taking scabs off my dogs ears that one ear was cut different from the other . I called the clinic and soon after took my dog back to him to correct his wrong doing . He told me nothing was wrong that my dogs ear is natrully like that. I said no way. He did the sergery again to correct his mistake . But then has the nerve after me spending $ 420 dollars to charge me a $90 dollar extra fee for anesthesia to my dog to sleep. Yea ok ! Very unprofessional and might I add rude.... If you care for your pets dont take them there piriod .

Ive visited this animal clinci and i was very impressed with the staff on how careing they are about doing whats right for animals and ensureing ever pet parent that whatever decision are made, It was the right one for the animal. ive been working in the pet industry for many years and trusted my affiliated vet clinic with my pet but when my dog got sick really bad i had to take him to get a second opinion with someone who wasnt affiliated with me or my company that i work for. sadly what i thought was wrong with my baby boy was correct i know there was little hope then for my pet. many thanks to doctor fish and his staff for trying to fix something that couldnt be fix. anyways i would recommend this place to anyone and if you ever have to get labs or xray done its done on the spot and you get the result in mins. THANKS DR.FISH , your a good animal lover and vet.........
