We got a red toy poodle here when she was 3 months old. Absolutely adorable, price was to be expected for the breed. We were able to make payments until we picked her up. Diana and Nuri were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because upon the first week of having her she had kennel cough which we found out afterwards she may have contracted from her brother. She had an ear infection, parasites and pink eye. So be mindful at that age they aren’t fully vaccinated and this place is a dog day care and grooming so they come in contact with a multitude of dogs. We learned this the hard way. Fast forwards to a month + later. Our Hunny has a clean bill of health and Vanity has a contract with the local vet after purchase where the dog is covered for their first physical and any medications required, which was a blessing straight away for us. We will be back once she is fully vaccinated for grooming purposes.

My dog Bailey went in for grooming yesterday afternoon. It was her first time at Vanity Pups and we were quoted $135 (discounted with a referral) for her to get a wash and haircut. When making this appointment I asked if they were completely comfortable with a dog her size (She is a 75lb Bernedoodle) and I was told it was fine. I specifically told the girl on the phone that she needed a summer haircut but to leave a 1-1.5 inches of fur. When my dog was brought home from her appointment I immediately noticed she was very sad so I took a look at her. These people shaved all my dog’s fur off completely down to the skin and CUT HER!!! Her snout was bleeding and hurt her all night. I’m infuriated. This was unnecessarily cruel. Her usual groomers at Whitestone Doghouse have NEVER done this to Bailey, she gets groomed with them regularly. They have never ever hurt my dog, cut her, or took off all her hair. They take their time with her and do a beautiful job. This was a lazy, mindless grooming. Shame on me for trying to support a more local business in my neighborhood. They also charged my father’s credit card $30 more than they quoted me, not including tip?? I feel so horrible for sending my dog here and not taking a closer look at these reviews. I’m attaching photos of Bailey’s cut snout and completely shaved fur, as well as her before this appointment. These people do not large size doodles don’t send yours here

Having my Cavapoo 2 years ago at Vanity Pup. I’m so happy that he is a very healthy boy. They told me he will be the size of 15-20 lbs, however now he is 30lbs but I love it. He is so sweet boy, full of energy, and happy.

I got my male cockapoo in July of 2021 and he is the most amazing dog! Very intelligent and calm. Betsy, Lulu, and Diana are fantastic and have a true passion for pets and finding the right homes for them. I continue to use their services (grooming, day care). I know that my dog is in good hands with them! An added bonus is if you purchased a dog from them, your pet is a “VIP” member and always gets a discount in any service 😀I highly recommend coming here if you are considering getting a pet

Among Vanity Pups, they have cut my dog for the first time in his life, it looks really spectacular we will return every month to their favorite place for them to cut out my Shithzu. Thanks to Groomer Esteban, we are very happy, good job!

I loved the staff! They are so friendly and detailed. They took care of my 3 babies like it was their own! It’s so hard to find people who deal with bigger breeds and they welcomes my giants with open arms! Alex groomed my baby boy Chubbs and left him smelling and looking amazing! Same for my boxer and pitbull ! 10/10 recommend this place. I don’t want to go anywhere else.

Vanity Pups has a great selection of dogs. But, I really love their grooming services. Im always last minute and a monthly client. They always make it work and do a great job. Super thankful to find this spot in the bayside area.

I don’t think that words can do my experience with vanity pups any justice, but here’s my best shot.Each part of my process with Diana and Naasar at Vanity Pups was absolutely lovely. Before I even chose my sweet Maltipoo, Momo, I was so kindly greeted and helped by an amazing staff at VP. I loved that they are so attentive of when a customer is trying to form an initial bond during a visit. They let me spend as much time as I needed with my little Momo, and when I let them know that I needed some time to make my decision, I felt no pressure at all.Once I called the next day and confirmed that I would be taking my pup home, they were extremely supportive and notably kind with all of the steps that followed. I was provided with all of the necessary paperwork, given extremely thorough instructions on how to care for and train my little pup, and not to mention, they have a great relationship with a local vet, the pet doctor (I take Momo there for all of his needs).The most memorable part of this experience was the way in which Diana was so caring when I’d call and follow up to ask any questions about momo within his first two months at home. They provided me with endless, comforting advice that made my first few months as a dog mom so special.I am forever grateful for Vanity pups’ amazing customer service, but even more importantly, their genuine passion for making sure their pups are placed in happy homes.

After a long and disheartening journey from shelters and other boutiques, we had decided to see if the place where we got our family pug from 13 years ago was around. To our much pleasant surprise, it was and under new and better management! From our first phone call to visit, vanity pups made us feel comfortable and welcomed. Nassar and Nuri were both knowledgeable, patient, and kind as we played with their available puppies! They understood our needs and we were happily able to adopt our Frenchie, Nori! (Formally Tuxedo of Vanity pups!) You can tell they really care about their pups, in every way possible and that really meant a world of difference to us. Thank you again for helping us welcome our newest family member into our home! 5/5 stars to Nassar and Nuri!

I got my dog Dante here years ago as a puppy. Friendly and helpful staff every time I visit. He gets groomed only here and they always do a great job. The owners really put their heart into this place and what they do, they are wonderful people who I appreciate.

I was told about vanity by some family members who got a dog from here a couple years ago when they were under different ownership. I was just looking around at puppies because I had just lost my 13 year old yorkie poo about a month before. Upon coming into the shop, Nassar was welcoming and not pushy at all. He was patient with me and allowed me to take my time to fall in love again. After meeting Jagger during my first visit, Nassar would let me come and visit him, giving me time to make sure I was ready for a new pup and solidify a new bond with one. I’ve had Jagger for 2 months now, and he’ll be 8 months in July. I’m so happy and recommend everyone come to Vanity in hopes of finding their furry match!

PSA: I cannot speak highly enough of this place. I had been waiting to get a fur baby for over 3 years, more specifically a dog that would eventually become my ESA. While I am in 1000% in support of rescuing and adopting, my own personal situation was one that it just made more sense to buy. I did lots of research on places all over NY - breeders, stores, etc. I was really losing hope at one point, as so many of the places I looked at were scams. And then I found Vanity...:)I messaged them on Instagram DM, as this was right when the COVID-19 pandemic began. I got a response within 10 minutes of messaging, while the other places I had inquired at days before had still not gotten back to me. I conversed with Diana (one of the owners) at length about what I was looking for and she answered all of my 101 questions. She also let me know any time a puppy that was similar to what I was looking for came in. I waited for about a month or so after first speaking with her before I ended up finding the right one and starting the process. I got to visit the puppy I was interested in, and it was a perfect match!Everything went perfectly when I came back a week later to pick her up, and Nassar (owner) made transactions, scheduling super convenient, as I live about an hour and a half from the store All the while, Diana was in consistent contact with me anytime I had a question. Shelsey and Lina were amazing each time I was in the store about helping me and answering questions as well! And Diana and I are still in contact, as she likes to check-in and see how Maisy (my angel) is doing!If this is not AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE, I dont know what is. They are only taking appointments right now to see puppies because of COVID, so please keep that in mind and be respectful of their policy! But if youre looking for that perfect addition to the family, this is THE place to go! Everyone on the team is incredible. Lots of love to everyone at Vanity and when Im ready for another baby, I know where Ill be going :)

My boyfriend purchased two dogs from vanity pups. Both happy and healthy just as they were when we first went to go see them. They are a great business and made sure we felt comfortable with the puppies, letting us spend time with them before making any decisions. They were very patient and made sure we had everything we needed for the puppies before taking them home.Nassar , his wife and Betsy are great people and make sure the dogs are always happy, whenever me and my boyfriend visit vanity pups the puppies are always full of energy and happy. And that’s how it should be!

We love the summer haircut our puppy received from Vanity Pups. They took such great care of her and she looks amazing. Wonderful place and Michael is great!

May 16, 2020 I purchased a female Maltese from Vanity Pups that I named Redi. Approximately a year later Redi got very sick and almost died. She was born with a congenital condition called portosystemic shunt. I had insurance for Redi but it wouldnt cover anything since it was congenital. I wanted to save my puppy and spent approximately $17,000.00 doing so. Redi was saved after having the operation she needed. I went to Vanity Pups to tell them my story. Both Betsy, the store manager, and Nassar Ahmed, the owner couldnt have been more compassionate. Not only did they give me a full refund but my Redi has free grooming and boarding for life. It wasnt their fault my baby was born with this condition nor did they even know she had it but they stand behind their puppies and did the right thing. I so appreciate them! I highly recommend this place. If I purchase another puppy I will go to Vanity Pups.

Cafe, now known as Noah has found a home! He’s a spunky little Yorkie with lots of energy, personality and equally loves to cuddle. He’s an amazing addition to the family and settled into his new home seamlessly. We couldn’t ask for a better pup or a better experience working with Vanity Pups! My Fiancé and I are extremely happy with our beautiful little Shih-Poo Dante. He instantly stole our hearts from the moment that Diana brought him out. Nassar and Diana have so much patience, are extremely helpful and knowledgeable on the breeds of the dogs. We always recommend family, friends, and even strangers to go to Vanity Pups to purchase a furry friend. They take very good care of their dogs and treat them as if they were their own. My poor baby was booked for a trim and they completely shaved him without my knowledge or consent. As you can see from the first photo his hair was perfectly healthy. They had NO REASON to shave him. I called to complain and they said it wasn’t their problem. After putting my dog in the car he started limping and shaking. They abuse their customers dogs and could care less. DONT GO HERE.

So been coming to this place for awhile and honestly they have great grooming and store is very clean and they do great job just 1 thing when u set a price for grooming leave at that 5 stars

A great place to go if youre looking to get a healthy pup! They care for their dogs unlike some of the other places in the area. Prices are a bit high (but no higher than the other places we looked at) Overall, we were very pleased with our experience here and love our new cavapoo bear (formerly sven lol)

This is an update concerning boarding while on vacation. Lorraine and I decided to leave Angelica with Nassar and Diana for 5 days while we were in Cancun. We decided to take the option of leaving her at there home(which was a little more expensive), so our puppy could mingle with there dogs. We received daily photos and videos. We came home to a very healthy and happy Puppy. The photo of Angelica sleeping on my wife chest was after we picked her up , notice how calm she is. Thank you Nassar and Diana she will be boarding with you years to come . We are so pleased with vanity pups. Our third time getting Angelica groom the receptionist is delightful and professional. The groomer is A+. His daughter was there today and I was told kept Angelica happy while she was waiting. Lorraine and I love this place

Found my precious Mr. Pickle here. They have great customer service. Store is really clean and they have lots cute clothes for pets. This shop has lots of fun and happy energy especially when you see the pups hanging out and playing. I will definitely be a returning customer

If you have a dog and want an A+ grooming, Vanity Pups is the best place in Queens. They have always treated our dog and us so great. Prices are excellent, especially given all they do at a grooming. Friendly staff always makes us feel at ease. Please try them and you wont go anywhere else.

Visited with my Chow Chow who has a double coat. When I specifically said only to bathe and bath him they went ahead with giving him a “ light” trim. They ended up shaving move of his back and part of his tail. My pup is going to have a lifetime of problems over it now due to their ignorance.

I got my fur baby almost a year ago, and Dianna and Nas (the owners) and Alex (the groomer) and Sienna (who helped me pick out my baby) have been nothing less than immaculate. Alex is an amazing dog groomer I trust no one else besides her. Sienna is so knowledgeable and is so kind to my dog everytime I bring her in for day care. Dianna and Nas are great owners and go above and beyond for their dogs and their customers. They also give their customers amazing life long deals for their puppy’s for day care pricing and grooming as well. Vanity pups is so attentive and you can tell really love the business they are all in. Don’t hesitate to choose vanity pups for your fur baby!

I just got my toy poodle from here. He is happy, healthy, and full of joy. The girls working in here are very professional. They answered any questions or concerns. The place is very clean. I love the set up. The puppies are interacting with one another in their play pens and not put in a crate all day. I really would highly reccomend this place to anyone buying a new pup.

My boyfriend and I were looking for a puppy to keep us company during quarantine, as many have done , but wanted to do our research first. We wanted to make sure that we were getting a puppy from a good place since there are so many places that do not care about the animals beyond the sale. This was not the case with Vanity Pups. We stopped in to the store one day and the owner was extremely helpful and provided answers to the millions of questions that we had for him. Each and every puppy that he showed us was so lively and excited to play, run and interact with us! Although we did not buy a dog that exact day , we couldn’t stop thinking about one particular little Yorkie that we played with. We went back less than a week later and purchased her. The owners , knowing we were first time dog owners , helped us so much to buy the things we need and to learn how to take care of such a precious, little puppy. Since then , we’ve taken her back to Vanity pups for her grooms and have continued to enjoy and appreciate the amazing service that vanity pups offers!

After visiting many pet stores, we found Vanity Pups by chance. Thats were I found my puppy.The puppies are all absolutely adorable. The staff is very pleasant. My husband and I went the next day and purchased our poodle. Michael the owner was very patient and knowledgeable with all of my questions and concerns. He explained how to care for our new puppy and even recommended a vet which we absolutely love.We are so happy with our new pup.We will be trying the grooming from Vanity Pups Boutique today. I recently got a toy poodle from Vanity Pups Boutique after visiting so many other pet shops and websites for months. It was love at first sight.💕He was exactly what I had been looking for.Im glad to have reached this shop at the end. While the price was on the high side, they provide friendly, professional, compassionate and high quality service that made me feel comfortable.I called them twice within a week after my puppy came home for several questions. They took time to give knowledgeable advise that was very helpful.I highly recommend Vanity Pups if you are looking for a new furry family member.

I took my fur baby to Vanity Pups today and I was completely satisfied with the service! I showed up earlier than my scheduled appointment and totally understood that I had to wait but they called me in a little bit early anyway. Then Lena or the other pretty lady gave me her undivided attention as I explained what I wanted... Anyhow, the whole service took just a little more than 1 hour. My fur baby came out looking “brand spanking new” . Oh and he was relaxed when he went in and relaxed when he came out! The price was wonderful and they cleaned up his face and removed a wad of matted hair from behind his ears. He does not allow me to touch his ears. Please, I say all of this because, I was taking him to PetSmart in Valley Stream and the service was nowhere as good as Vanity Pup. Who knew!

So my husband and I were very hesitant in getting a puppy. We reached out to vanity pups just out of curiosity, just more to see puppies as therapy than to buy one lol. We met Mocha, a ShiPom. She was SOOOOO small and so not shy with us. The store was very honest about her and told us that she was having problems eating . So, we left for the day and considered the idea of buying a “sick” puppy. After two weeks, no one had come in to ask about Mocha so we came back. She was still tiny but eating better and energetic and super friendly as the first day we met her. My husband and I just knew Mocha was to come home with us, there was no way we were leaving her again . So we made the decision right then and there to buy Mocha and take her home with us that same day. She was a bit expensive especially for us at that time since we had just moved and with many other new bills. BUT, we couldn’t say no.AND...Let me tell you.... MOCHA IS THE MOST INTELLIGENT , ENERGETIC , FEISTY , SPOILED AND FUNNY little four-legged fur ball I have ever seen !She is picky with her food , I’ll give you that but she loves LOOKING for her food. Once we hide it in a plastic bone toy she loves fighting to get it out ! LolShe is a true joy , we are extremely OBSESSED with her and can’t imagine life without her .💕Thank you Vanity Pups, for your service, your trust, your grooming service, your help on and off work hours , your constant support on Instagram , we couldn’t be more happy having the pleasure to have met the staff and owners,we are truly in love with our puppy. !

My family got a new puppy from this awesome store about two weeks ago. They were extremely helpful and patient with us. We came back to see her a few times before we decided to take her home since all the members of the family had to see her. They are extremely understanding and cooperative. We are so happy with her and so happy with the experience we had to bring her home.

I am a first time dog owner so didnt know what to expect from a groomer. I tried 2 others and they never left my pup the way I wanted. Thank Goodness for Vanity Pups they gave me a same day appointment and left my little Honey looking like a princess. I absolutely fell in love with this place and the staff was so kind and knowledgeable. They showed me pics of different cuts for my breed of dog. True professionals!!!! I highly recommend this place to anyone. They also gave me a discount without me asking or knowing about it which was even better. Love Love Love them.

I went to vanity pups as they came highly recommended by my friends. I was not disappointed. The staff was very helpful, kind and did not rush us. They groomed our puppy and took their time to explain everything to us as we are first time puppy owners. We went back 2 weeks later to buy more food and they all greeted us and even asked about our puppy. 😊

Take this as a warning. The moment I walked into this grooming facility I thought it would be a great place to take my dog for a regular clean up. I have a labradoodle and his fur is very curly. I asked for just a trim, but ended up coming back to see him shaved to the skin. Their work was splotchy cutting it down to the bare skin leaving my dog with razor burns all down his throat. I was not informed of any information until I arrived, then just blamed it on my dog moving too much. DO NOT COME HERE

Visited other puppy stores and our last stop was Vanity Pups. They made it all worth the time and drive from NJ to NY. As soon as you walk in the store you are welcome by the friendly staff. The store is very neat and clean. Michael was very helpful and went over everything we needed to know about the puppy. Michael gave us an awesome deal and it was ½ the price of the other stores we went that day. They gave us a care package for the puppy. The puppies from the other stores weren’t exactly the happiest ,neat and well taken care of as our Juliet (aka Lady 0675). Thank you Vanity Pup! We all love her. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking for a new addition to their family.

My Niece’s dog was brought here & asked for a short trim ONLY, when picked up & ONLY 5 MINUTES after specifically telling them “I do NOT give permission for a full hair trim” over the phone she received her dog FULLY TRIMMED. When we called this “ Vanity Pups Boutique” to report & ask why this happened we received not only rude answers back but also lies & disrespect. Our issue was then solved but they should have hired properly trained groomers. this is still on them.

After the unfortunate loss of our families 9 year old Dachshund. We were searching the for a new member. We happen to come across this great very family oriented pet store. Michael was by far the best person I have ever interacted with regarding an animal. His professionalism and energy made the new acquisition very simple. The knowledge and time he took into helping get the right pup was unmatched. Highly recommend. Will hopefully see him for any new pet purchases my family may make in the future.

This place is absolutely amazing. The best of many that we have been to so far! Michael was very great with my family and I and helped us find our new baby and we gave him a new home. Its not like those other places that scam you and dont even care about the puppies Michael the owner cares both about the puppy and the customers and treats both right. Yes buying a puppy is a business but he made the whole experience phenomenal.. Will definitely recommend this place, and oh yeah the price was also very decent for our 3 month puppy Bolt

I went in a few days ago looking for a Shih tzu puppy. The staff are super friendly and the puppies were adorable. They looked healthy and well cared for. Prices are also reasonable. I havent adopted a puppy yet because my husband decided he really prefers a cat😢 We still dont have a pet yet so if I manage to convince him I will definitely go back to get one from them.

I cant reccomend this place enough. They deal only with quality breeders and their puppies are beautiful and in good health. My last pup from there lasted until a ripe old age of 14.5 years old. After he passed, I was devastated. I contacted Vanity pups and they worked with me and had the patience with me to match me with a new puppy that worked for me. When I went there to meet the pup, I fell in love with a second pup there. I wound up with TWO!!! BOTH Leia and Obi are doing great!! Vanity pups even went through the time to give me a tutorial on puppy care. We now go there for supplies and grooming! I highly recommend!!!!

Amazing experience. From the moment I reached out to them to when I brought home my puppy (4 month old Shihpoo). They were so helpful and worked with me all Summer to help me find the perfect pup that fit my lifestyle. They answered every question I had and made sure I felt secure in my decision. Would 100% recommend to all my friends or anyone looking for a special friend.

I bought my Llaso-poo mix puppy here back in January. When purchasing the puppy, one of the employees ran through caring for the puppy and what is included in the purchase. He was very thorough and made me feel comfortable. The staff is friendly and really cares for the animals. I continue to get my dog groomed here. They do a great job every time.

I visited the store with my wife and saw a dog we liked but being that we had just lost a dog after 15 years we were a bit hesitant to make an immediate purchase. The young lady by the name of Diane stated that we should leave a deposit just in case and that if we didnt want the dog we would get our deposit back. Saturday came and went and we decided we werent ready for another dog so I called to get my deposit back as stated by the store representative. I have been trying to get a refund for the deposit and they are now saying that its non-refundable. No where on the receipt does it say a hold is non refundable. The store rep told me it was refundable. Dont trust this store. They not only misrepresent themselves but the store rep I spoke to about the refund was rude and abrupt during the conversation. There are better more reputable puppy stores out there. Do your research and make sure you know who you are dealing with. Dont leave deposits unless youre sure. Businesses will play with your emotions to take advantage.

We got our terrin carrier in Vanity Puppy. The baby is so playful and healthy. We love it. The service was good too. The store give us very clear instruction for what we should do when we take the puppy home. I feel comfortable and safe getting puppy here. Also a great advantage is vet is very near. Vet has all history with my puppy. Love the store and plan get another puppy later.

My niece wanted a puppy so bad (for months) Ive been to every shelter looking for one and couldnt find any. I was a little wary about purchasing a dog because of all the Google searches I read about. I took a chance and saw the cutest puppies ever on site. I saw one in particular (Ray a silky terrier) and he was 5 months old. I went to go and see him 2 days later. The owner was nice and pleasant and let me spend some time with Ray. He was so happy and content. Licking, running and wailing his tail and that melted my heart. I decided then that he would be coming home. The owner gave me information on how to take care of Ray (Since he was my first puppy). I purchased him and brought him home. I took him to the vet a few days later and hes in good health. The Dr. told me that buying pets that are over 4 or 5 months are usually in good health. I have Loki (Ray) for little over a month now and hes the joy of our lives. Im so happy.

Wouldn’t trust another place with my furry babies. Staff is very welcoming, helpful, understanding and caring. They really take their time.

Vanity pups really lives up to fulfilling your puppy having dream! We have four children and we contemplated long and hard before becoming parents to a dog. We questioned many things. Thank you to vanity pups they guided us through the entire process! We went in with a vision of what we wanted and ended up with a puppy who wanted us! He chose us and we don’t regret him at all’ I am so thankful that our puppy comes from a special place and that they allow us to still visit for his ongoing up keep of grooming and day are services ! I have nothing but great things to say about the owners and my experience. Honestly , I went in for a golden doodle but can’t put with a male Yorkshire terrier as I fell in love with him. The owners have been nothing but patient and willing to guide me as a first time fur baby parent. They’ve become like a family to me . If you want to find your fur baby definitley recommend this puppy place.Ps: the owners love love love their puppies and they have their own dogs which is amazing. We purchased a wonderful, little, three month old pup last month. The staff let us take our time with the puppies to decide which one would be a good fit for our family. They answered all questions, even questions from our four & seven year old :)The staff educated us on the pup we choose, his needs, how to feed him, bathing him etc.Overall our experience was great! Myself and my husband are very pleased.The McClendon Family.

My sis and I purchased an early mothers day present for our mom...a beautiful Shihpoo puppy who is 2 1/2 months old. I found out about Vanity pups from searching the web and reading great reviews about them. I called Micheal first before I went in and I told him the budget that I had and he was very nice and said he had puppies that were in my budget. So my sis and I decided to go in store and see...Upon arriving we were welcomed by the great staff that worked there and then we met with Micheal himself. He was amazing and very helpful he showed us the puppies he had and we fell in love with one and took him home that day. Micheal did a great job explaining everything to us step by step and making sure all our questions were answered. I will certainly be recommending Vanity Pups to my friends, Family and co-workers. Most importantly our puppy is happy and healthy !

I picked up my beautiful toy poodle puppy, Rosie, from Vanity Pups a month ago and I loved the whole experience! :) The workers were very helpful and I appreciate all their time and care for my babie! I purchased a puppy from here almost two months and I couldnt be more happier. The staff were very nice and helpful to me when I came in. One staff member even reserved the puppy for me for a couple hours until I came back. This place is well kept and the puppies are very cute. Overall Vanity Pups was wonderful.

We loved our experience at Vanity Pups! My fiancé and I had to postpone our wedding due to covid so we decided to get a puppy and we could not be happier with the services at Vanity Pups! The owners are great and go out of their way to get you a puppy of your dreams! They were always available for questions (especially for new puppy parents) and give great recommendations for vets, food, supplies, etc.

The variety of puppies and the prices are amazing, way better than the other puppy stores I went to in the area. I did have a issue with my puppy(NOT VANITY PUPS FAULT) and Michael was nothing short of caring and professional. He replaced our puppy and my kids couldnt be happier. I have already recommended Vanity Pups to my friends and family!!!!!

They have cute puppies for sure ( all puppies always cute), but they from puppy mills…I got my Coco he is about to be 5 years old now, we’re dealing now with a lot of health issues, genetic problems because of bad breeding…it break my heart (and wallet) to see my young dog like that. Heart problems, getting blind, diabetes, hypothyroidism…so new puppy can look cute and healthy , but all problems will come after while…my poor Coco still so young . He was healthy for 4 years, and suddenly all bad gens taking over. Eye surgery will cost me around4k…monthly medication 150$, blood testing, plus extra for vet visits…..my vet said definitely all conditions are because of bad breeder. Don’t trust them-puppy mills !

Very happy customer which is why I keep coming back. 4th puppy with them and I couldnt be happier. Michael is awesome!! He is patient helpful and makes sure you leave happy. Dont waste your time going to other places. Vanity pups is the perfect place to start a doggy family!!

My Family and I were eating out in Bayside when we came across “Vanity Pups Boutique”. We went in just for fun and fell in love with all the puppies they had. They all looked very healthy and happy. The best part is that they are all kept in cute little baby cradles, so cute looked like a baby nursery, absolutely ADORABLE! Once I laid eyes on My cream Toy Poodle, Penny, I fell in love! What was just a for “fun stop” turned into a New addition to our family. Michael Was so very professional, and very helpful. All vet visits and most vaccines so far have been covered. I would definitely buy from them again and recommend anyone who asks me for a referral to a great experience in taking home a furry friend.

I purchased a puppy from here and could not be happier. I was extremely worried about getting a puppy from a pet store vice a breeder directly. But when I explained my worries to the lady she explained there policies and put me to ease. After I got my puppy we had a 6 hour drive and once I got home she seemed very liturgic when I called the pet store to see what the issue may be they where extremely concerned and I even received a phone call from the owner while he was out of town to see how she was, and give me a few tip on how to make her feel better. Upon taking her to the vet I found out she was hypoglycemic and had a small respiratory infection which the vet told me was very common for puppies within a few days she was jumping around and chewing on my shoes!

I bought my doxie puppy from here 3 years ago. When I got home I researched where he came from and it was a puppy mill. When first examined by my vet they said he had an extreme overbite. Last year the dog started with seizures and now I am sitting at the emergency room vet and now he may have back problems as well. Ask what the breeders name is and do a quick search before buying!!!!

Great service. They do a great job with grooming. Staff is really friendly. They seem to really love and care about animals. My dog always has a good time. My dog also loves their dog treats...they look like regular cookies lol!

I was there sunday the 25 of Nov with my husband around 1PM. The girl there made it seem like all you do is dogs. But I saw a review where a lady had her cat groomed. Then we were looking at the pups and she kept asking if we wanted to purchase a dog. Made us feel uncomfortable. Not good customer service at all. Not even friendly either like on top of us. Wasnt a nice experience there at all. I should have gotten her name but Im sure you know who it is.

Nassar and his wife Diana are the most kindest and helpful people out there. They helped me own my first puppy and they made the experience unforgettable. Nassar was very informative and answered any question I had! I am a first time dog owner and I was clueless. Diana is always in touch with me to see how I am doing with my new puppy through their Instagram page. We practically became best friends because I always message her for help and she never rejects or ignores me. I would give Vanity pups a 12/10 in service and quality. She even helped me arrange after hours daycare for my puppy to bring to her own home because I work late sometimes and have no one to watch my puppy!

When I first walked into the store, I was surprised to see that the puppies werent all stores in small cages and crates against the wall like all the other pet stores around the area. All the puppies were energetic, and the staff was super friendly and guided me through the whole way as I purchased my toy poodle. Its been a month since I brought Ollie home, and I am completely in love with my healthy poodle.

Shaved my dog without consent. I asked for just a bath and for his nails to be clipped and they said that the water couldn’t reach his fur and they shaved him. Then they expected me to pay for the shave. My dog is a very expensive poodle her hair is brushed out every night and she was shaved. I am very upset.

I always have an amazing experience when I go to this shop. The owner is fantastic.. so helpful and friendly. My pup came out looking incredible after his grooming session. We have been searching all over Manhattan for a French Bulldog (cream, female, calm personality and perky) and finally came upon the yelp reviews with such positive feedback. SO, we trekked on the LIRR to come to see this wonderful puppy boutique.Immediately walking in, you have a completely different experience from other places. The video does pure justice. There are puppy cribs, with happy pups! One of them being our own dear pup that we had to take home. Fiona, our cream Frenchie.Michael (hes the awesome guy in the video) has such a great approach to customers. He let us play with our pup, which he lovingly calls his puppies - babies, but wasnt pushy at all. Each time he came by us to chat, hed provide us with information when we asked - what breeder did she come from, whats her lineage, how should we care for a pup since we were new pup owners, and so on.i could go on and on about how happy we are with Fiona and our experience here. It was worth the trip, and we love stopping by when were around.

Michael is a wonderful person to deal with. I live in Boston but I decided to adopt a French Bulldog from Vanity Pups because Michael is an honest puppy dealer. He found me a beautiful Frenchie, send me the daily video updates of the puppy via email. I am satisfy with my choice of picking vanity pups and I highly recommend this store.

Got a Pomeranian puppy who was terminally sick from a breeding malfunction ! Died a few days after I got him. Very traumatizing experience. They knew he was seriously ill and were not remorseful.Please do not say this was from the previous owner. This happened at the end of 2020. I already knew about the new ownership and I bought my puppy from you with the new ownership.

I am absolutely disgusted with this place and will never ever ever return !!! i purchase a mix breed which it should be a pure breed and the dog was sick the day i pick him up and owner told me its normal to all puppy just give it a few days and hes gonna be fine, thank god i bring him to vet the next day or else he would be gone forever. Owner told me grooming for the first time would be free so i though how bad could a grooming go ? so i bring him back which is so stupid of me ! because when i pick up him i end up at the vet once again! this time its for stitches from razor burn and cuts ! how is this business still open !!! ??

Don’t even live here and I highly don’t recommend this place. They know NOTHING about double coated dogs and that youre NOT supposed to shave them. Not only did you shave someone’s dog but it looked like a child did it.So with that being said, highly don’t recommend taking your previous babies here because they don’t care about dogs. :)

We got our cavachon last year from Vanity Pups. we absolutely love him. The store owner contacted us twice after we went home with our puppy to find out how we were doing with the puppy. I also contacted him once on how to feed the puppy medicine. The owner was very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Brought my pup here for grooming. I picked it based on location, but what a nightmare. They cut a chunk off my poor babys tongue. I know accidents happen, but this doesnt take away the pain my pup went through. Now lets get to the rude front desk employee#1 the front desk still tried to charge #2 she had the nerves to say its like biting your tongue. Really???? This girl needs to get fired. Shes out of her mind.The owner was more compassionate. He offered to cover the vet visit across the street, but Im still angry.

This is a great place to purchase the pefect pup for your family. The store is kept clean and is beautiful. Even the restroom has doggie decor! The staff was so helpful and friendly. My daughters sweet 16 was approaching, they gave me an excellent discount! It helped me tremendously and now my daughter couldnt be more happy with her puppy. We already have a cacapoo at home, they gave us free treats for her just so she wouldnt feel left out.Theyve even reached out to us after to see how everything is going. While looking for a shih tzu puppy I came across Vanity Pups. On our first visit we fell in love with a 3 month old gold shih tzu. Michael was great through the process, spending a half hour with us teaching how to take care of the new member of our family, which as first time dog owners was extremely helpful! Michael also assured us that we could call them as many times as we needed to with questions or concerns about the dog, which Ive taken him up on! Vanity Pups also provided 3 free visits to a great vet and a coupon for free grooming with the purchase of our puppy. Overall I have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Vanity Pups.

Horrible customer service. I went in with my dog who has a double coat, and they called me saying they have to shave it all off. Im begging them not to, only to see that theyve done it anyways. Not a reputable place, and overall they could care less about your fur babies. If youre looking dor a dog groomer, try checking out somewhere else nearby! 😉

Terrible my daughter bought my puppy Rocky last Sunday to get groomed and brushed. She bought him home and he is completely hairless. He is a sheepadoodle and the groomer should have called and informed me. I am shocked will never go back.Melina G

I did business with mike on a Aussie Sheppard/golden retriever I got her for 400. Cause I assume the puppy was getting to big and small dogs bring in more money.After my divorce I contacted mike to buy another puppy since my ex kept the dog. And as a returning customer my price limit was 2-4 hundred again I thought he could accommodate me since we did business before but he told me he couldn’t cause he was selling the business and the new owner said no. Could be true could be bs.Overall mike was nice to me first time around 2nd time just felt he was lying to me.I’m happy now I got a new puppy from pa a lab /Sheppard/Dane mix.If your not happy with there grooming try pampered pets in ozone park cheap dog bath and nail trim 40 dollars husband and wife run the business nice ppl.

So I contemplated taking my pups here but after the tiktok I just saw about how you groomed a dog who #1 is not supposed to be shaved just trimmed and #2 ignored your customers request to not shave the dog is insane to me. Will never ever be taking my pups here and you shouldn’t either!

Vanity pups was very helpful in finding my morkie, but I‘m not too satisfied. I was told to pick her up on Jan 4th at 6pm . It was a very busy Friday as I wasnt the only one picking up a puppy. Not a problem. By the time it was my turn it was about 9:30 pm. It was ok as it gave me and my kids time to play and bond with puppy! Jose was very helpful as far as giving me all the info and instructions needed. I purchased the crate and starter kit full of food, supplies, toys and treats for $190.00. I never had a puppy so I figured they are the experts, they know what I need! That part was very rushed as it was now 10:15 pm! The kit was filled fast and they had run out if certain standard supplies so some extras here and there were thrown in. I was also supposed to get an ID tag but the engraving machine was broken. When I got home I realized some treats had expired, some treats were for very large dogs and other items like the hairbrush which was huge were not appropriate for a barely 2lb puppy! I went back a week later and they were happy to exchange for other items although their stock was still lacking. My puppy got kennel cough which was covered by vet. When I called vanity pups to inform them (which they say please call if any problems or concerns) I spoke to, or tried to speak to Michael, but I was put on hold several times for over 15 mins. This happened all 3 calls I tried to make! All incoming calls were handled before mine! I could hear him talking to the other calls and it was just info about puppies on their website. I guess my sick puppy and I weren’t important, they already got my money. Its all about the sales perhaps. Three weeks later my puppy is still sick…. I still haven’t gotten my ID tag. They’ve been telling me for three weeks, just a few more days. We need to clean machine. How long does it take to clean a machine. But honestly, the ID tag is the least of my problems!I decided to research the info on the pedigree papers that came with my adorable puppy. I googled the breeder even got phone # -- IM SHOCKED -- to learn that my puppy came from A PUPPY MILL! This breeder apparently has 280 adult dogs and 45 puppies. I also read articles that confirms she runs a puppy mill and the brokers that she used have been put out of business due to bad reports. Even the ASPCA was involved. Regardless of their USDA certification that is a puppy mill . Vanity pups you know exactly who you are purchasing from. If I can find out this information, so can you. The Internet is a wonderful tool. Enough said........

Purchased a Cavachon 3 years ago. Puppy was very healthy and michael was very helpful. i lost the papers a few months later and michael was able to send them to me quickly. my family and i are very happy with the dog to this day. highly recommend.

My experience here was totally ridiculous, whoever was handling my dog did an AWFUL job. I have a shih tzu and asked for a trim for her fringe because her hair had be bothering her. When I came to pick her up I was FURIOUS my poor baby had cuts all over her face, whoever did this did a TERRIBLE job.

Having just lost my 19 year and 3 month old Shih Tzu Marlowe, it was with a heavy heart that I found my way to Michael Bergers Vanity Pups. Michael spent about 2 hours with me so I could get a good sense of the available puppies. I ended up with a little black and white masked baby whom I have named Kemosahbee, Sahbee for short. He is an absolute joy and a comedian,. He never whines or cry, follows me wherever I go and romps like a little rabbit. He is strong, independent and an absolute riot. Hes such a wonderful and healthy little dog. I am now smiling again.I also need to mention that the service and in-depth information provided by Michael was beyond anything I had experienced before and Marlowe was the 5th dog I had purchased) and the prices were well below any of the other pet stores I had contacted. Vanity Pups is indeed as good as it gets.!!!

Horrible horrible place DO NOT GOi took in my dog which his fur is not supposed to be shaved off because it could grow back very oddly and hard i went in and asked for a small trim they proceeded to call me and tell me they were shaving him even tho it wasn’t they told me it was “matted” IT WAS NOT MATTED. i came to the store as fast as i could to find my dog shaved even tho i told them over the phone to not shave him.

They only get one star because I infact, do love my puppy. My husband and I drove from Brooklyn after searching the internet for a new puppy, when we got there we asked to see a specific puppy and they brought out her and the dog that was roomed with her. After holding the dog we initially asked for for about 2 hours, we knew something wasnt right, she was coughing, shaking, and mucus was coming out of her nose, we informed the girl helping us, and she kept denying that she was sick, saying all the while, its the medicine you see coming out of her nose. Really? weve been holding her for two hours all the while shes coughing and sneezing... regardless we ended up buying her roommate, the very next day we get home... she is coughing and hacking up everywhere. we take her to the vet that they supply, and say shes fine. wrong. so now that ive been taking her to this vet that covers her bills for a month and a half, my other dog is sick from kennel cough (the same one that they sold me)and has developed pneumonia. I called the pet shop to see theyd pay for his bills and basically got into an arguement with the owner?? Honestly, Im still going thru this and Im super stressed out. Please, please, please think twice about buying from these people. The vet they use are set up to side with them by the way... so good luck returning a dog that has any serious health problems.

My puppy had a health issue and co owner Michael gave me his cellphone number and answered all my calls even though he was on vacation in Florida and stood behind me and took care of the situation. Great service! At first, we werent so sure that we were gonna find the right dog from here, but we ended up coming out with a Shiba and hes beautiful! All the dogs in the store are all so playful and gentle, would really recommend this place to anyone that wants to get a dog!

I would just like to say ! I am amazed by how helpful and kind these people are. I went on Sunday afternoon looking for a red poodle, I found Simba (that was his advertised name which I chose to stick with), I went home saying I’d think about it. After a hour or two I called and left the deposit on him .. nobody rushed me to buy him and all my questions were answered I went in today to pick him up and Wow just wow. Everyone is so nice, I asked about a thousand questions and everyone answered them without looking annoyed at me or anything. This was the best decision I have ever made in my life, simba is an amazing dog and this pet shop and it’s employees are amazing people. I just wanna thank you guys because if it weren’t for you guys I wouldn’t have found my cute little simba. Thankyou for everything he was worth every penny! !!

We called WEEKS ago about Rafiki. We were told he was sold. We calledagain this past weekend and told the exact same thing. You also said youwere going to take him off immediately. This site is a total scam. I donot want to receive any more emails from you. I would also suggest youtake Rafiki off as a LURE to get people to call you. Told them not to shave my dog. I asked for blowout, and a small trim. ( I said they could bathe him if they needed/wanted) I came back, and now my dog is shaved, they said his fur was matted.

The best pet store youll ever see in queens. they are so sweet and treat the pups like kings in queens. they actually store the pups in a baby cribs and you can actually hold them. they wont sell a pup until its 2 months old with shows they take care of the pups. they also have the best accesories for pups

I had to bring my dog to the emergency vet right after because he looked lifeless. The vet told me he was suffering from heat exhaustion and even had burn marks on him. They said it was likely due to unsupervised blow drying. I’m devastated that they are not taking responsibility for this

Shaved an owners dog after having been given explicit permission not to do so, refused to listen, lied saying they had legal documentation saying they had consent, caused potentially detrimental damages to the dogs fur, risks the dog no longer being able to regulate heat, proceeded to tell boyfriend of owner that he couldn’t ask why they didn’t listen because they were the owner

Absolutely awful customer service and even worse shaving and stylist do not bring your animals here they will not listen to what you say and will most definitely mess up your dogs coat

I bought a maltese and when i got her home she kept shaking her head she was 10 weeks old and she was sneezing .I brought her right away to vet she had parvo and mites and bad cough Molly is now 41/2 shes a great dog but she has a hacking cough .When i went back with her right away when i bought her how there sweet tune changed .The owner treated me miserably like it was my faultI would never ever buy a puppy from these people again .They are liars and phonies .Please buy a puppy from a private breeder instead of these over priced crappy places that look good in store front but i can imagine whats down in there basement

99% off all dogs bought in Pet Stores come from Puppy Mill, including this store. Do some research. Google your pets id. If you dont know what puppy mills are, google it but be prepared because it is horrendous.

I purchased a dog without doing my research I was looking for a pure breed yorkie which is what my paperwork said I got until looking at my dog as it got older it’s a silky or Australian yorkie which I’m very upset about because they look totally different i wouldn’t recommend this place !!

Could not been happier dealing with Nassar at Vanity Pups. I live in Westchester County and went to several pet stores and was not happy the way I was treated. Prices were exorbitant and the pups were not up to par for what we wanted. I checked the reviews of other stores in Queens and Huntington, Long Island. Vanity Pups had, and another store in Huntington, Long Island, great reviews. I didn’t realize how close we were to Vanity Pups, 23 minutes away. We got the breed we were looking for and had a choice between 2 brothers (Cockapoo) and the apricot color we were looking for. He brought out one at a time to the play area and we made our comparison. The one we purchased, our Cody, is magnificent. Such a sweetheart and so smart. Since we live in a 40 story high/rise we trained him to go on command on a wee pad and eventually trained him to go outside to a dog park across the street. When we go out he is in his crate and does very well by himself.I highly recommend Vanity Pups and Nassar for his help and giving us an excellent wet and dry food for puppy, wee wee pads, leash and collar. All set and worked out well. Thank you Nassar.

I will definitely recommend this place to anybody who want to buy puppies.They are very knowledgeable,responsible,kind and can work with customer. Only this place that dont put the puppies inside the cage. The owner let the puppies run inside the play pen and play around. No pet store will do it. ONLy HERE....highly recommend...dont go other places....

If your team cannot comprehend other peoples wishes with their animals or are having a miscommunication then you need to retrain them. If they are going to be grooming animals make sure they know about the animals and how they should be properly taken care of and what the dos and do nots are. You really just let your staff ruin an animals furr because they dont know what they are doing or just simply do not listen to the customers. Hope this never happens again because now your business is just going to get bad reviews for a mistake that could have been prevented.

When they messed up my dogs haircut they refused to take any of the responsibility and couldnt even say sorry. i didnt ask for my dog to be shaved, i asked for a wash and shampoo. and he came back with.... a haircut??? they r so unbelievably rude and nasty. ive never met more unprofessional people who just dont even make sense.

Nice puppies. They are a little too over priced . 4 months and up over $3500. The financing didn’t sound benefiting for me . I think I did need an appointment to go but they was able to fit me in. I drove 35 min from my house to this location and it was worth it because I was able to get all my questions answered by the lady who helped me. I would love to go back but it was a little too over priced.
