Amazing place for cats lovers with hot drinks, we can stay forever playing with cat sweeties, lot of cats, children and adults get great time and fun, many rescued cats, when our time is off its difficult to say goodbye. We are going often there, it s so popular, it s better to book in advance on their site. Cant wait to visit New Paltz location cat 😻

I went with my boyfriend 10/3/24 and it was awesome! Unfortunately we came when all the cats were sleepy but it was still a great experience getting to pet the cats and say hi. Before we left we got to say hi to Todd, Moose, Theodore, and I believe Tigresso. They were all so sweet and chill. Definitely recommend this place if you love cats and tea/coffee!!

30 min at the cafe for $10! we showed up 10 minutes late but we still got ample times with the cats. a few were sleepy but we got to play and pet a lot of cute kitties. I didn’t get the coffee but the menu looked like it had a big variety. definitely recommend!

An amazing experience!! I bought myself a Lychee Lemonade which is very good!! I also bought a 30 minute Session to spend time with the cats. All the cats were so adorablee. The staff were very sweet and kind too!! Amazing vibe and définitely recommend this place to whoever stops by Beacon, NY!!

The cats were great, and it is true, the ones with a collar can be a bit more feisty. knocking a star down because we were way past capacity (listed at 8 by the door) in that room, which did not seem like a great idea for the space and amount of cats, even if that means immediate entry

I loved this. I paid for an entire hour with the kitties. I felt so special because we had all the kitties to ourselves. This was my birthday in 2019. It was one of the best birthdays. We also got a drink and it was so yummy. Thank you and I felt so good because I know the money went to taking care of the kitties. I want to return sometime !

The idea of this cat cafe is great, staff is very nice and the intention of helping these little cats find a home is so sweet, but it was not as clean as can be, that’s why I gave it a 3 star. The place smells a lot like pee even though they have air filters going but could improve on cleanliness of the place. Most cats are very friendly, loving, and playful. Some are not but it’s understandable, some are a bit more feisty and like their space but we loved their different personalities and enjoyed seeing how resilient these cats can be after everything they’ve been through. It’s affordable, $7.50 per 30 min session per person and there’s other options available for 1 hr slots and even group sessions. An email is sent after booking a session with very helpful rules to interact with the cats to enjoy and have a good time with them. Wishing all the best to this location, the owners and that the cats find their forever home. 🐾🐈🐈‍⬛

We only had drinks, but they were good. Good options for a small place. Cute novelty items for sale that help support the Cat Cafe. Reservations are REQUIRED. There are a few seats, but the main objective is to get these cats adopted. There are strict rules, so go to their website for details. Street parking is available, but limited. We had to park around the corner.

We recently visited Beans Cat Cafe and had a good experience. There were so many cats to interact with, and while some were quite friendly, others seemed uninterested. The staff was pleasant but not overly attentive. I ordered a tea, which was average in taste. Overall, our visit was enjoyable. For cat lovers, this cafe is worth a visit.

Paid for 30 min but could hardly stay 10 min because the smell of cat poop was so strong. I understand there are many cats living in a small space, but I’ve been in other cat cafes, and I own multiple cats myself, and this was really overpowering and clearly due to not scooping their boxes frequently enough. I could not fathom purchasing food/drinks here. I am happy my money went towards a good cause but I wish I could have enjoyed the full 30 minutes I paid for. I did notice air filters/purifiers, but even with that, the smell was very strong.

This was an adorable little place to visit! I’ll give a quick rundown of some pros and mainly only one con.The Good:Almost everything! The staff were super friendly to start off with. They have a counter at the front with adorable cat stickers and I love that proceeds are used to help the cats. The rules for the cat room are fairly simple. Respect the cats, don’t pick the cats up, and they even had collars to mark which cats were a bit more fiesty. All of them, of course, were equally as adorable. When I went, most of the cuties were asleep but that of course is just cats nature and isn’t a problem at all. They were just as cuddly and loved pets! I really enjoyed my time here. The prices for the sessions were really reasonable. It’s about 8$ per person for a half hour, and 12$ per person for a full hour, which is a really good deal especially since the money helps out the cats as well. I would absolutely recommend anyone who wants to try out a cat cafe or anyone who loves cats to come here, as these guys need loving homes and loving company!The Cons:As a barista, I tend to be a bit of a coffee snob so take my review with a grain of salt 😉. The coffee was okay. I got a hot chocolate which was alright. I think what would really help this place be just a little more enjoyable is good coffee. It seemed as it they had all the right equipment for good coffee, so maybe perfecting the recipes to ensure all the drinks are good quality and repeatable by employees. It honestly wasn’t that big of a dealbreaker, and it wasn’t horrible, but I think it could have been a lot better.In all, I had a wonderful time with the adorable cats and I hope I can come back! Definitely check this place out if you can.

Saw this place while wandering the area on vacation from Massachusetts. Booked a reservation for the next morning and there was good availability. The drink options were all delicious! We got a Cupids Arrow and Red Velvet Hot Chocolate! The cats are super adorable and all were friendly while we were there, despite some wearing the collars that signal they may be more likely to scratch. We were introduced to all the cats and rules/expectations were clear and easy to follow. Such a great accidental find!

Great location. My wife had a black coffee and she loved it. I had a blue raspberry lemonade and it was great! Only about $7 per person for half an hour with a bunch of wonderful cats. It was a lovely, affordable experience with great people working there. I definitely plan to go there next time I come to Beacon.

This is one of the smaller cat cafes Ive been to, but pretty decent all around. Ive visited twice, and would highly recommend visiting at a time when there are very few (or zero) other people visiting the cats, mostly due to spacing/number of cats that are active at a time. I havent gotten any drinks or food from here, but my partner has remarked that the drinks are pretty good. While the place seems to need some TLC, the space is relatively clean with the number of cats it hosts.If I were to go off the above alone, I would say this is a solid 4 star place. However, I have to dock off a star purely because of the smell. I have a cat at home, and am very familiar with the odors that come from a litter box, but I genuinely struggled to stay for the full 30 minutes during my last visit because the litter/pee smell was so strong (this was even on the complete other side of the room, 2.5 hrs after opening). Looking at other recent reviews, it seems Im not alone with this issue. I hope the owners can take steps to remediate this, as its not really worth it for me to return because of this issue.

Very small but cozy Space. My children were ecstatic to see the cats but you were not allowed to pick up any of them. Luckily you are able to adopt these fur friends. The Staff were kind and drinks were delicious.

Amazing experience ❤️ they truly love animals and care for them. I fell in love with one of the cats and we decided to adopt! So excited. Also they have a cute shop with stickers and many other things. Coffee was really good. I didn’t take pics because I enjoyed every minute petting all the cats.

Super cute experience. My daughter loved every second. Got a coffee and a meowcaron 😊😂 😸 both were delicious. The prices were a bit high though, 7 bucks a person for 30 minutes with the cats. My daughter is only 22 months and we had to pay the full amount for her too. We stayed for about 15 minutes. Place was clean and tidy. Wish they would offer a 15 minute for 3 bucks or a discount to go in with the cats if you were buying coffee and food. Love that they have rescue cats you can adopt. ❤️

We showed up for an appointment and the place reeked of feces… the poor kitties were so fat they were just sleeping and didn’t move or acknowledge any one who was there. It was very apparent that they aren’t being taken care of. barista counter looked dirty and unkept. overall a very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. i really wanted to see cats and hangout and get to know the staff but it was overly stressful and uncomfortable.

I love this place so much.. its my Roman Empire I love it here. In all seriousness though its great here! The staff is amazing theyre so nice and the baked goods are delicious too!! But anyway, the cats are adorable too. I miss you Mr. Stubbs I dont know if youll still be there when I go back but you were my bff. He was supposed to be the one that would scratch and bite but he sat on my lap the whole time.. I dont know if it was because I gave him his limit of two treats or he genuinely just liked me but I miss him. 😢 Anyway, I totally recommended this place for anyone who needs a stress reliever or just is a cat lover, its great! 5/5

Excellent loCATion & great idea to encourage cat adoptions!We visited on late July. The booking system was easy & convenient with reminders. Staff was friendly. The cats were the sweetest! Playful.This place is a treat whether you need to wind down with feline therapy or seek to adopt a cat.The macaroons were purrfect!Meowuchas gracias!

Such a great way to foster the cats while finding a forever home. The cats got lots of socialization from all the visitors. A dream come true for the kitties with lots of toys, shelves to climb & boxes to hide in. Really enjoyed spending time there.

My boyfriend and I went to Beans Cat Café in Beacon a couple of days ago, and we had so much fun! It was my first time ever at a cat café. The staff was so friendly, the whole place was so clean - immaculate really - and I loved interacting with so many of the kitties. We had an amazing experience! I highly recommend coming here and helping to support the kitties, but be sure to respect all of the rules and make a reservation ahead of time in order to have a guaranteed slot! Making reservations on the cafés website was really easy and its affordable. Plus, the merch in the café is incredibly adorable and high quality! I cant wait to go back again, and next time, Ill try some of their desserts/drinks.

I went here in November and I was talking to my bf about coming back soon and I realized I never left a proper review and you guys deserve one because this place is AMAZING!! The staff are very friendly and the coffee is so unbelievably good. I got the tuxedo latte iced with oatmilk and I still talk about it to friends lol. I love the rules about not picking up the cats because it ensures that they are never uncomfortable or man handled. You can tell they actually care for the cats and that they are comfortable. When me and my bf went there all three of the kittens sat and slept on him the entire time. He was never a big cat person and when we left he said he wanted us to get a cat one day. I really loved the cat Norman and I wish I could’ve taken him home. I will be coming back soon for sure! 1000/10 place! ❤️

Fantastic place. Delicious drinks (ask for a cat on your latte!) and sweets (try the giant chocolate chip cookies!). The cats are so cute and friendly. And the owner and her crew are the best. Six stars.

If you are visiting beacon (or live nearby) you are missing out if you don’t visit this cafe.The cafe has a lot of incredible cute and friendly cats. The staff are also super nice and patient. I was only there for 30 minutes and regret not staying longer.

Great cat cafe that puts the wellbeing of their fosters first! There are strict rules and appointment times, such as not picking up the kitties or their food and 30 minute or 1 hour intervals. The space is clean and well maintained, with a wash station for all visitors. Drinks are amazing (they have a sugar free syrup option!) and the merch is also super cute. If I didnt have two cat babies already, Id have trusted the Bean Cat Cafe to adopt from!

Loved meeting all of the kitties! Clean, bright space. Had a delicious tiramisu flavored coffee. Wish they had some more vegan goodies.

I love visiting Beans Cat Cafe in Beacon! I come all the way up from NJ about once a month to visit. Its a very clean and cheery place and they always have a lot of nice adoptable cats to play with or cuddle. My husband really enjoys the coffee and tea drinks and they usually have some snacks available for purchase. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the cats. We always enjoy our time there!

Great place if you need a quick cheering up. Cats are lovely and playful. Staff was very friendly. Awesome value of $7 for 30min of time.

Good coffee and friendly cats.When you go inside be mindful that youre not allowed to pick up the cats.I went there around 4pm most of them seemed tired but overall willing to have interaction with visitors.Try your best to read their body language. Youll can most likely tell when an animal is tired and just wants to be left alone in the meantime.Its best to have patience and let the cats come to you.Dont be discouraged if you didnt get to play the first time you should try coming another time. After all they have good coffee and sweets.

Service was friendly and the drinks were enjoyable. I went for the cats of course...and I respect that you arent allowed to pick the cats up, but I wish there were comfy armchairs where you could sit next to the cats and let them crawl on your lap. This place has 1 wooden bench and 2 high wooden stools. On the plus side it feels clean and sanitary, but not really a place where a cat would curl up beside you. The cats stay on wall mounts or scratching stands and you can stand there and pet them. That being said...I was happy to see some cats but didnt quite get a good cuddle fix but maybe the cats werent feeling it today.

Such a great price 7$ for 30 minutes and such a unique experience we had very friendly cats and it was clean and the staff was super helpful. I suggest make your appointment ahead of time to secure a spot and so its easier for the staff.

I loved it here! The cats are adorable and the iced latte I got was really good. I think it’s so cool how the cats are able to be adopted too. Definitely would recommend going if you’re a cat lover and I’ll be back for sure!

The staff were friendly, the cats are very well taken care of, room rates are very reasonable, and time flew on by at a lovely speed! Definitely a cute place for a date. And if youre looking to adopt, getting to meet the kitties is such a great way to determine compatibility!

First time visiting and my fiance had a cat instantly come over and pretty much be attached our entire visit to here. Adorable little cats and fantastic little relaxing visit. Highly recommend

This was my first experience in a cat Cafe but the staff was super friendly and kind to both me and my friend! 🥰 The cats were so friendly and playful, my heart was full for the whole hour I was there. The treats were delicious too, will definitely come back!

After ordering a pretty terrible overly sweet coffee that did not taste like advertised and remade even sweeter- and being told to come back in half an hour and purchasing two tickets - we went to go get our toddler dinner and unfortunately came back late. The woman managing this cafe was pretty rude - she told us that we had missed our slot and there was no way to let our daughter go in even for a minute. When we asked if we could go in of someone left early she also said no- apparently just out of malice. When we asked if there was a way to get a coupon to come back again she told us that wasn’t possible. This is a classic example of seeing the trees for the forest and having terrible customer service. Not only will we will never ever come back we were motivated to warn you about this too. The best businesses under promise and over deliver and this place is the opposite.

Amazing amazing AMAZING place! My boyfriend and I went on a whim and we had THE BEST TIME! The owners were super friendly and informative, and we got the most delicious lattes while we waited to go into the cafe. We had so much fun playing with the cats, and a couple of kittens even sat in our laps! We seriously considered filling out an adoption form, and we’ll definitely be back soon to check out the cats again. Cannot recommend enough, best place to spend a weekend. Love!

Have stress, anxiety, depression? Im no doctor, dont even play one on TV but I can tell you these furry little ones will do their best to help alleviate what ails you. Wonderful staff makes your visit all the more welcoming. Support your community including the little furry friends that call it their (foster) home.

The treats are for the humans at Beans Cat Cafe! The food and beverages are great but the kitties take the cake! Well socialized, friendly and loving cats are available to fall in love with and adopt! While there is a fee to intact with them, it goes to their care and well-being. Amazing place!

Was a fun way to spend a rainy afternoon. Place is small but clean and while youll see many sleeping cats they are always up for a pat or scratch. Reservations are required. Staff very pleasant and coffee is a bonus.

Visited the Beacon location and had a wonderful time with the kitties! Its a small, cozy, toy-filled and clean space -- and theres lots of love and snuggles to go around. They have a chalk board with the cats names so you know whos who -- and tasty snacks and drinks. Owners/staff are terrific -- and I cant wait to go to the New Paltz cafe! Adopt, dont shop!

Had such a great time at this adorable cat cafe! You do need to make an appointment to go into the room but you can also watch through the window (just pay and go in). The cats are super cute and because there are only about 8 people per appointment it keeps the cozy vibe. They have toys out for the cats and some will play with you others will obviously just be cats and have no interest at all (very charming imo). While youre not allowed to pick up any of them, some will sit in your lap. The cats are up for adoption which is amazing and also means new faces from time to time. The two people working there were super nice and Id definitely recommend a visit. I actually also came back later in the day for a latte and it was delish. They also sell some pastry/sweet treats, coffees/lattes, stickers and some cute merch. Book your cat time asap.

This is such a nice spot to come and unwind, and to adopt a cat if you find yourself in such a position! They get cats from all over and make sure they are clean, fed, and well socialized while they wait to get adopted. The facility is incredibly clean and the staff are all very friendly. There are drinks you can get and bring with you while you sit with the cats. There are cat toys you can use and plenty of places to sit, and sometimes the cats will come sit on your lap and fall asleep. Two cats were removed during our visit because they were adopted! It’s such a great thing that this place does, and it’s nice that the money goes towards helping these cats find their new homes.

My boyfriend and I made a reservation for a 60 min slot. We had the best time!!! The staff was very nice, always cleaning the place. The cats were so sweet and I enjoyed watching them also just do their thing. I got their hot chocolate and my boyfriend got a double shot. Both drinks were good! We would’ve spent the day here if we could. Definitely recommend this place! We are definitely going to be back soon! :)

Such a cute place, with all kitties adoptable. I had a white chocolate crab every mocha which was wonderful. Cat visitation was booked but still got to sit and watch the fun.

Not so much of a cafe, although, there were some desserts and tea, but it wasnt like a restaurant vibe with cats running around. It was a cat shelter where u were allowed to drink tea. Great time though if u like cats.

First cat cafe and Im a fan! This place was so cute! Pastries and drinks were so good too! The owner is very sweet and made me feel at home! Im sad I dont live closer, cause Id visit this place all the time, if I did! You can tell she really cares about the cats and their well being. Fantastic. I had an adorable chocolate macaroon that had a cat face on it, which was absolutly incredible (Seriously it was the best macaroon Ive ever had) . Playing with a bunch of adorable cats was a fantastic way to spend the afternoon. All of the cats seem very well taken care of and the staff seems really committed to their well being. I will definitly be returning.

The coffee and drinks are great, love during the summer the made to order lemonade.Whats great is that there are cats of different ages, sizes and personality, something for everyone! Its awesome how knowledgeable the staff are temperament, diseases and ways to care each cats individual needs

My daughter and I love Beans Cat Cafe! We can’t have cats at home due to family allergies, so this is the next best thing! Highly recommend the Paris Fog tea as well!

I had a great time at the Cat Cafe. I was able to pet the Cats gently, especially the kittens. They were very playful. Not too bad overall. One bad experience that I had with the owner when I left the Cafe was that when I told her that I learned a lot from the Cafe, she asked What do you mean? This assumes that I made a pretty dumb remark, thinking that its not about learning, its about relaxing with the Cats. Thats it.

Beautiful Place, Friendly environment, great ppl.Amazing what they do with the cats. Love it.Just a tiny thing. This is my third day with my 3yo with pink eye after visiting. I think that when they have cats that are sick, they should be kept apart for everyone’s sake ppl and cats.There was one cat with clear signs of being sick and my kids were petting it. They wash hands and chill around, but I didn’t notice my daughter taking her hands to her eyes anytime.It was Lovely but I recommend to keep up with everyone’s health safety.Love cats and animals in general, love the idea and the help the shelter is given 🥳

Love it! Im a newish cat person but a long time supporter of pet adoption and rescue. The cats in residence all seem happy and well cared for. I love that they educate people on FIV and adopt out the cats. Totally happy to pay $7/30 min to support the cause.

I am so not a cat person but this place definitely makes me feel like one LOL. staff are absolutely sweet and the cats were the best. the prices are so GOOD!! in the city it was almost 30$ per person with the same experience, but here ur saving money and u get an even better experience!!!

This is the actual best thing to happen to the Hudson Valley in 2020. First, let’s talk about the cafe portion: the drinks are delicious!! My wife had the white macchiato, and I had a white hot chocolate, and they were both excellent. Definitely a step or two above Starbucks. This should be a regular stop for you if you live or work in Beacon. They’re very quick! The baked goods come from a local bakery, and they’re kept cleanly away from the cats and are restocked as purchased. They also were awesome! Now to the obvious best part: CATS!! Before touching anything or playing with cats, all patrons MUST was their hands thoroughly. Masks MUST be worn. Only 6 people are allowed in at a time, so social distancing is super easy. There are many toys to play with with the cats, and some of them are super playful! The cats are healthy and happy, and you’ll definitely enjoy snuggling some sleepy kitty friends while you’re there. The owner is such a nice person, and the whole place is clean, inviting and cat friendly. For a moment, I felt like I was part of the display as people on the sidewalk peered in to see the adoptable cats. I may or may not have picked some up for their viewing pleasure. While there, we booked an appointment to come back next Saturday to do it all again and try more from the cafe. Definitely try to book in advance especially if you have a bigger group. Spots fill quickly on weekends, and you won’t want to be disappointed. After speaking with the owner, I learned that weekdays are a bit slower, so drop ins are more accessible then. Again, this place is fantastic. 10/10 see you next week!

My Daughter and I had a great time here!. I am severely allergic to cats! I have to say I did not have a allergy attack here!.. the cafe was so clean the staff was on top of sanitizing everything and encouraged Washing hands. The staff was so sweet and so welcoming!. We are coming back soon!

Workers there are courteous and friendly but firm. Respect them and the cats and its an absolutely delightful environment. U share the cats with other people and u can enjoy drinks and snacks as well. And of course, cats. I believe half an hour is 7$ and an hour is 15$.

So much fun. Daughter had a blast. Jessica was very nice and helpful. We cant wait to adopt a kitten from them. Very clean and organized. Great what they are doing for the furry cuties.

Capuchino & Chai were terrible. They had only 3 cats, and the waiting time to be with the cats was 40mins. Its a really small place.

Had a very nice time playing with Minnie and Millie , two 4 month old kitten! Such sweeties! They have a rule that you are not allowed to pick up the cats but other than that you are free to roam the small enclosure with about 10 cats/kittens! The employees were very kind and friendly! We even purchased some pins to support the cafe. It was a very cute place to spend 30mins to an hour. My only qualm was that my coffee was terrible. T_T Extremely sweet and filled with ice so that maybe 5 sips in , my coffee was finished and I desperately wanted water. Def would come again and support, just maybe skip the drinks.

I’ve come here a few times and always had a pleasant experience, however today the employee was extremely rude. When she showed us in the roomwith the cats, she spoke extremely fast and we could hardly understand what she said. Well, my sister in law gently picked one of the cats up and the employee barged into the room and belittled and yelled at her in a condescending and extremely rude manner. It was shocking and very unprofessional! The situation could have, and should have been handled with a more mature and professional approach. We didn’t hear her say to not pick up the cats, as she had spoken to us incredibly fast like she was trying to auction a car off! I wish she had emphasized the rule of no picking up cats when she led us to the room if it were such a vital rule for visitors to follow, or post a large sign where people can clearly read it. She honestly made it seem like she had picked the cat up by it’s tail and was spinning it around! Honestly, it ruined our experience at the cafe and made us feel very unwelcome for the remainder of our visit. Do not pick the cats up if you visit this location, or you will be belittled and spoken to as if you were a child in a boarding school.

Had such a wonderful experience today with my mom. I’m so happy we were finally able to check out Beans cat cafe. Highly recommend. I loved all the kitties and such friendly staff too. The coffee was delish and such a relaxing fun experience. We will be back soon :-)

Love places like this, more are needed. You can either buy a coffee like beverage and leave or stay for a 30 minutes chill with cats.The cats are fostered by the cafe and available for adoption. $7 fee to play with the cats, staff are educational.Wash hands upon entering cat room. Love this.

Not the cat cafe I expected. Ive been to others where you sit in a true cafe while cats are roaming about. Instead, this was an animal-shelter type room with all the smells too. Spent about $8 each for 30 min. have to pay xtra for even friskies to feed the cats. Not worth it.

What a cute town and fun Cafe. My daughter and I loved the experience. They allow only a certain number people at once so everyone gets opportunities to interact with the cats and kittens. We did hog a kitten the entire time as it did fall asleep on my daughters lap! Worth the trip up from Westchester 🐈‍⬛🐈🥰

So excited to come see this place and its cats that we drove an hour to get there. We got a little lost and called to let the guy we booked with know, and he was kind enough to say we can have our full time. HOWEVER, the female in the front was so unwelcoming! She immediately told us we had 10 minutes left, and basically “scolded” us rules that we had an awful time. She was so condescending and rude that we had no interest in getting anything there. We just wanted to leave.The place was too small to sit and enjoy any beverages for a “cafe” especially with a growling beast in the front, that perhaps it should be renamed.Bad idea for the owners to have such a bully to represent their business. No doubt there may be a defensive comment regarding this review since thats all we’ve read in all the bad reviews. She really should apologize or just shut up and not respond.And the bad reviews all say something similar about this employee, you’d think they would get a clue.

Adorable cats with a bunch of younger/kittens as well as other ages! Could not believe how friendly some of them were compared to other cat cafes cats. Very friendly service & yummy drinks too.

This is a great cafe for cat lovers. If you love cats and cafes, then you have to come here. We had so much fun interacting with the cats and petting them.

I had a great time going to this cat cafe. My family and I rented the room and loved it. I really like that they have that option. Their cats are super cute and friendly and the drinks are tasty. Highly recommend!

I like what they are doing for the cats but I was disappointed that after I already paid to go in the cat room, they said we weren’t allowed to pick up the cats. I was so excited to finally have a cat cafe closer to home than the city and I thought for sure I’d be a regular (even though nothing they offered to munch was gluten free), maybe even adopt another cat if I found the right one, but Iwas really sad that I couldn’t pick any up. That for me is a huge factor in weather or not I’ll adopt a cat, if they let me gently pick them up. I paid for 30 minutes but stayed maybe 5. After driving 30 minutes to get there. The cats were sweet but it honestly made me sad that I couldn’t put any on my lap so I left. Lady upfront likely could tell I wasn’t jazzed about my visit but didn’t attempt to make it better. I’m disappointed and won’t be back. I’ll stick to traditional adoption centers that permit more of a bonding opportunity with the cats by permitting them to be picked up.

I highly recommend this place. I had a pleasant experience here today. The cats are adorable, drinks are great, excellent customer service... what more could you ask for? Jess was so warm and welcoming. She really cares about the animals and her customers. I will be visiting again. 🤗

Omg what an awful experience! Jess served me a almond flat white for close to $6 - then denied me access to the restroom because there was too many people in the cat area! I was busting and begged and was told to come back in 10mins! I’m sorry but that’s awful! I’m a paying customer I should be allowed access to your restroom! It was not my fault you put the cat area near the toilet! So Jess continued to deny me- so I stormed in and used the toilet so I would not wet myself or their floor! On the way out I needed a sugar because the coffee was AWFUL! Cheapest nut milk used probably silk brand! They don’t even make their own nut milk but will charge you more for helping the environment! Jess said no! I couldn’t believe it! It’s been a while since I’ve had people be so rude to me! I demanded my sugar getting angry and she said she would give it to me as long as it would get rid of me! Such a gross experience! Oh and they charge like $7 to see the cats -the vegan in me was very angry - cats aren’t our play toys! Where are their homes? Anyways awful experience just know if you go- you’ll be denied the toilet or told to book in! She’s lucky I didn’t throw the coffee on the ground for her to clean!

I was so disappointed at this cafe. We drove a long way to see this place but were highly disappointed at the way we were greeted! & please keep my niece out of this. We are not talking about how brave my niece was or hard scared she was. She is 3 years old! The moral of this review is the lady in the from desk mrs strika was very rude and unwelcoming. We also felt micro managed by the minute we walked telling us to wash our hands which had no problem doing but my niece was afraid at first so we did not wash her hands just yet because she wasnt going to touch them or go near the cats but of course if she was to touch the cats or go near them we would wash her hands! We were WATCHED the entire time. It was very uncomfortable. Also we were misled by mr.strika who said we will have our full time at the cafe when we called to say we were late because we got lost. Then when we get there immediately we were barked at that we have 10 mins left. The whole experience was just disappointing! And the owner said we should have and addressed this in person!? how can I when they are so rude?! We were also there with a young child. I would not want a young child to see such behavior. The OWNERS are giving DEFENSIVE feedback instead of trying to resolve the issue for a first time customer who would have wanted to be a potential long term customer.

This cat cafe is probably my favorite spot in beacon but also dangerous because I want all of the kitties to come home with me by the time my sessions up. The staff has always been friendly and kind. They do their job well and let us know the rules etc. Ive been there 2-3 times and each time was a great experience. The drinks are good but I mainly go for the cats.As for the 1 star reviews, I wouldnt pay them any mind as they kinda seem like they have a couple screws loose if you know what I mean.Anyway, Beans Cat Cafe is amazing and are doing such a great service for the kitties in helping find forever homes. They also have a location in Newburgh. ADOPT DONT SHOP!!!!!!!!!!

Adopted one of our cats here - we love visiting this cafe and hanging out with the cats. You can tell the cats are taken care of and treated with kindness too.

Coffee is bad. Iced coffee was coffee-flavored iced water, warm coffee was also watered down. You have to Pay and reserve time slot to pet the cats ($7 for 30min), it’s not included in your overpriced coffee purchase. Hard pass.

What an adorable place! The lavender Chai was delicious! The cats are adorable! The staff is beyond friendly. Cats are from HVARS. There is a fee to chill with the cats. They accept donations for HVARS. Tons of coffee and tea options. Milk options include oat and almond milk. A small but tasty choice of bakery items. Located on Beacons eclectic Main Street which has a variety of interesting shops.

This is what all cat cafes should model. The coffee area was quaint, tidy and had an amazing selection of coffee and caffeine free drinks. The kitty zone was clean, odor free and the cats are simply wonderful. Next time I will spring for the private option as it would have been nicer to have all the kitties to myself. It was a little more crowded then I would have liked during our appt. Six people total but it was a decent enough sized area that we could stay spaced out. If I could have another cat I would have taken one home with me. So many sweeties. Many older and calmer that would do well for a first time cat owner.

Chocolate macaron is super good. It has a orange zest note. Dragon fruit lemonade is delicious.

I will definitely come back, the drinks are amazing, and the cats are adorable. I cant wait for my next visit!

This is a great place, great concept on finding cats their forever home. I was vacationing in the area and missed my cats. Staff is very friendly. Be sure to read all the rules. Kids can go but cannot upset the cats. Be sure to book correct location. I didnt and they accommodated us, but we got lucky. Who knew there was multiple locations 🙂

Such a wonderful place that was much needed in the area! The drinks were great and they also have a good selection of pastries and merchandise to buy. The staff is amazingly friendly and welcoming and the space is very clean and comfortable. The cats were wonderful and you can tell that they are so loved and cared about here while they wait for their new forever homes. If you are looking for a new family member or just looking to chill with really great cats this is the place. Please support them in helping these cats get a second chance!

Have to visit again, earlier. When I visited the cats were anxious and tired - their first day in the new place. I think its a nice idea but it seems like people should sit and let the cats come to them.
