I found out about this practice through work, as they are on our recommended exotic vet list, and I had a great experience! My bird and bunny both needed to be checked out and have some diagnostics done. Dr. Storch was incredibly thorough and communicative throughout the entire exam, making sure I understood everything.. her assistant was also very kind! I felt reassured that my pets were in excellent hands. The woman at the front desk was also very kind and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone with exotic pets!

I cant be grateful enough to the staff and Dr. Marion especially . Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and all around amazing! Dr. Marion walked us through the euthanasia procedure, and I couldt keep myself together - I was given tissues and space, while they performed the procedure. Its scary to put a beloved pet through it, but not with the Dr. Marion. Thank you incredibly much!!!!

I have never done a review for a veterinarian before or a Veterinary Center, but we just had to do one for Dr. Gabriela Zonenshine and the amazing staff at the center. In July, our 26 year old conure, Mimi, was in extreme trouble from chewing her leg raw. From the first moment we met Dr. Gabby, she put us at ease with her warm and friendly demeanor. Her expertise and professionalism was evident when we came to the office every Friday. Dr. Gabby, and the technicians assisting her, provided exceptional care for our sweet Mimi Girl. She showed genuine affection for Mimi which just warmed our hearts. Dr. Gabbys empathy and support meant the world to us, and we cannot express how much it helped us to get through a tough situation.

I wish I had found this place sooner. Clean, modern facilities with extremely well-trained and compassionate doctors and staff. Unlike the local vet I had been going to, the doctors and nurses recognized that even an exotic pet can feel like a member of the family. While there was unfortunately nothing that could be done to save our guinea pig, after consulting with Dr. Huffaker I at least had the confidence that we had done everything we could, and that our pet would not suffer any longer. I got real compassion from everyone there, and it made the difficult time much easier. I genuinely did not know vets of this level of quality existed for pets like guinea pigs, and we will definitely be taking our other guinea pig and any future exotic pets there going forward.

Thank you Dr. Zonenshine and thank you Victoria and Kenia for helping during my visits. At the beginning of August my Indian Ringneck passed suddenly and I was very upset. I recently moved to Westchester county and hadn’t found a vet yet and they were able to have me come in the same day to order a necropsy. I found out he passed from clamydiosis and they explained how contagious it was and my other bird most likely had it. They were very empathetic and kind during this hard time. They were able to make me an appointment to start treatments for my parrotlet, Lucy, asap. We were there once a week for six weeks and they were all so great with her, between handling, giving shots, taking blood, and doing X-rays they were amazing with her and made sure she was ok. I am always nervous with vet visits because of how small she is but the staff here is skilled and knowledgeable . Thank you for saving my baby!

Short story - they saved our budgies leg and were exceptionally kind during the entire process. Emergency pet care is never cheap, but I felt that they were fair. I am so happy we have a reliable place to take our birds now when needed.Longer story - I was traveling and my husband called to say that our budgies leg band had slipped above her joint and her leg was very swollen. After 24 hours it was much much worse, I spent hours calling vets in the area, but no one would see her and I felt that a lot of them were dismissive because budgies are not exactly expensive pets. I finally got referred to this clinic and they were so empathetic and understood my worry. My husband was able to take her in that morning. Dr. Huffaker called me and explained everything in great detail and took me through a bunch of what-if scenarios. They her anesthetized and band removed within a few hours and she was on her way to recovery. They explained everything clearly to my husband who is no the primary caregiver to our budgies. I honestly believe she would have lost a leg or worse if they had not been able to see her that day. Were almost 2 weeks out and she is back to her feisty self. I am so grateful.

Dr. Marion and the staff were so helpful and compassionate and even though it was/is a heartbreaking experience for us, they made it a bit easier in a way to say goodbye to our 10 year old beardie. Unfortunately in our area, there is a shortage of emergency 24 hour exotic vets, so we ended up driving from Owego, NY to get our beardie seen as this was the only hospital who would accept us. Unfortunately our bearded dragon Gypsy didnt make the trip, but they had already prepared for her beforehand and did all they could which I appreciate so much! Dr. Marion was very knowledgeable about what had happened and told us everything to bring us some comfort, which again, I appreciate. I recommend them and if we lived closer, theyd be my go to vet!

Ive been bringing my pet rats here for at least seven years -- multiple mammary tumor surgeries went without a hitch due to the care and attentiveness of the staff; and, though due to covid restrictions pet parents cant enter anymore, I remember how much the staff would take the time to comfort my rats before an evaluation before the curb-side rule went into place. As well, when my rat was declining in health and needed to be put to sleep, the vets allowed me to come inside the building so I could hold her and I appreciated it more than anything. More recently, Dr. Dewey performed surgery on my rat Hermes and explained aftercare for my rats surgery in detail and was very clear and understanding (and, she was able to get my wormy rat into a protective wrap, which takes skill). She noticed I was nervous about Hermes escaping her wraps and the wound opening and assured me that she would be on call if there were any problems. I couldnt recommend this clinic anymore -- I trust them with my pets, no problems.

Dr. Huffaker is a very caring person and Im so thankful we made the appt to go in. Exotic veterinarians are hard to find, and a good one is even harder. I brought my chinchilla in as I was concerned for her teeth and why she stopped eating, and Dr. Huffaker took his time with her to make sure she was comfortable every step of the way. Made sure to discuss everything in detail and never pushed a service that I wasnt comfortable with. The biggest thank you and appreciation I have came after our appt. After the weekend my chinchilla got worse due to an underlying condition we found that progressed rapidly. That morning I called to try and squeeze her in as an emergency visit and I had a chance to talk on the phone. He was able to help me find a time to squeeze her in and never tried to rush me off the phone. Sadly my girl passed away in my arms shortly after. After my girl passed I canceled my appt through text.Dr. Huffaker called me later on that evening and he went back over her xrays and her case and wanted to discuss it with me. I am so incredibly thankful for that as he helped me know it wasnt my fault, and stressed that I did all I could for her. Its hard to come up with the words but I appreciate it more than I can say. If I am ever able to have another chinchilla, I would not hesitate to bring her back there.

The Veterinary Center for Birds and Exotics saved my birds life. My pet turkey was experiencing shortness of breath, lethargy, and lack of appetite. I had been taking her to another avian vet, who couldnt determine what was wrong, and referred me to Dr. Hess at the Vet Center for Birds and Exotics. In my opinion, Dr. Hess is the best avian vet in the northeastern USA. Not only did Dr. Hess correctly diagnose the problem that same day, but she administered life-saving treatments that saved her life. Dr. Hess also helped develop a care plan that continues to help my bird have a good quality of life, despite my pets diagnosis of a mass in her abdomen that is leading to ongoing inflammation. I feel confident that everything possible has been done for my pet up to this point to make her comfortable and happy. When I had questions about her treatment, Dr. Hess patiently answered all of my concerns over the phone. Her level of expertise is apparent within moments of talking with her. I also would like to add that the Vet Center never questioned my unusual choice of a pet turkey, and treated my case with the same urgency as anyone elses more common animal companion. If you are serious about getting the best possible care for your exotic animal, then I recommend this place wholeheartedly. Are they the cheapest? No. But, they are the best, and its hard to put a price on that.

I had to bring my rabbit to another veterinarian to help her.UPDATE:. This place does nothing but provide false information. Michael is my middle name. I never sued two veterinarians before. The case was dismissed in Court only because I did not have an expert witness that was willing to testify against this veterinarian. The veterinary practice is a tight knit community. Veterinarians dont testify against other veterinarians because they dont want to be blackballed and lose referrals. Furthermore, if my rabbit was doing better as this veterinarian alleges, why would I have brought my rabbit to another veterinarian the following day? This veterinarian almost killed my rabbit by not providing the care that she needed.

My family and I have been coming here for more than 10 years. When I was young, we came here with my leopard geckos, and they got the best care they ever could have, even having a few issues diagnosed that I doubt would have been caught elsewhere. Dr. Hess is a kind and caring veterinarian, and is probably the most well known vet here, but every single vet weve been to who works here has been excellent. They even offer out of hours emergency consultations, which I have been able to use twice- once during a recent power outage when Dr. Hess told me how best to take care of my lizard and my rabbits in the hot summer heat, and once when she was able to squeeze one of my rabbits in the very next day after she got caught chewing on a phone cord (the area was rabbit proofed, but shes a very crafty creature and got into stuff when our backs were turned) to help not only with what I knew could be a problem (burns which she thankfully didnt have, intestinal blockage/stasis which well find out if she has today) but also with things I wouldnt have thought about (Zinc poisoning). For as long as our family lives less than an hour away (which will be at least for the rest of our current exotics lifespan), this vet center will be our absolute go-to, and weve recommended it to all our friends. Never have we felt worse off after going here than we would have otherwise. I dont even usually leave google reviews, but I saw some absolutely bonkers ones while I was sending the directions to my mother, so I wanted to set the record straight: yes, this place is more expensive than the others, but youre getting world-renowned care of the highest quality for your pets. Its especially risky to go to a vet who isnt as experienced if you have a rabbit, and Im sure as hell not taking that chance when I know we have exemplary care right here.Thank you to every vet here for your quality service!

I drove 2 1/2 hours down to Bedford Hills with my 21 year old rescue Senegal parrot because he had a stroke on a Saturday and our regular avian vets were not open locally. They were thorough knew just what to look for and explained everything in great detail to me. One of the gripes I have with our local vets is that they tend to talk down to me like I don’t know what I’m talking about. I feel like the vet I spoke to quickly picked up on the fact that I understand a lot about avian biology and medical terminology and spoke to me on a more scientific level which I really appreciated. Only to return home to my regular vet to not get that treatment. Considering another 2 1/2 hour drive to continue his treatment. I’m happy to say I know exactly where to go next time I have an emergency on a Saturday.

The front desk ladies are extremely nice and handled my rabbit with care. The lady was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Besides that, the vet is only in seek of money, he does not care about your pet. I came in with my rabbit, he had many problems and eventually passed away two days after his visit, which is not the fault of the vet. But the vet does prey on your sadness, all he wants is money. The vet was pushing all of this intense testing to “figure out” what was wrong with my rabbit. He told me a thousand different things it could be but would not give a straight answer. He constanly contradicted himself and frankly did not seem to know what he was talking about. In the same sentence he would suggest euthanization after talking about this testing. He wanted to put my rabbit through all this testing but he knew my rabbit was going to pass anyways. He really did not want me to take my rabbit home to let him die in peace. If he could even suggest euthanization, he clearly knew my rabbit was going to die, so why push thousands of dollars of testing and treatment. He either wanted the money from the testing or the money from the euthanization. I called another vet for an opinion and they gave us the straight answer to just keep my rabbit comfortable and the truth is all i wanted. This veterinary center preys on you in a time of pain. The fact that you can not go inside and it is “curbside” is also outrageous. You have no idea if they are actually performing these tests on your pet and you do not know how they are handling your pet either. I did get a blood test and i eventually emailed them because i wanted the results and they did not answer. It is so easy to do curbside care for animals that can not tell you what the vet did to them. Overpriced and are only in it for the money. I again do not blame the death of my rabbit on them, but I recommend you go to a veterinarian who truly cares about your pet.

Not happy with my first visit at all! I took my rabbit for a check up and to discuss getting her spayed. They went on and on about how they specialize in rabbits so they are more expensive than other vets which wouldn’t be a problem if they handled my baby with better care. I have been cutting my rabbits nails since I got her without any incident. She’s a good girl and stays still. The trim was included in the check up price so I decided to let them do it and they cut the quick twice!! My baby was bleeding everywhere. I was watching very closely and my baby didn’t move at all. Not letting them preform a surgery when they made my baby bleed all over the table with nail clippers.

I would NOT recommend this place at all if you have a bird you care about. I took my African Grey Parrot there for a simple wing, beak and claw trim since it is a hospital specializing in birds. I was charged a hefty bill for bringing him in for this service and a check-up, which I paid without a care. My bird was thereafter delivered to me in the parking lot (they still do not let “pet parents” in the hospital because of covid, which is annoying because you have to keep calling on the phone until there is no busy signal). As we were getting ready to leave, I noticed part of his overgrown beak was not drilled down. I called, they retrieved him again and put him through more stress for a second drilling. He was again brought out to the parking lot and as we were again getting ready to leave, I also noticed his claws WEREN’T EVEN CLIPPED! It looked like just one back claw was clipped. AGAIN I had to get someone to come out and showed the tech the claws weren’t clipped. He saw what I meant and said, “Oh yeah, I will ask the vet about this,” and took him in AGAIN. It was now taking very long and he wasn’t coming back out so I went up and knocked on their door and said “what’s going on with my bird?” The vet came hurrying down the hall and came out to tell me his claw now looks like something is wrong with one of his claws as he didn’t have it before when he examined him, and he would give me a free x-ray (which requires sedation) to check for injury. At this point, I no longer trusted this place and said “Just give me back my bird!!” He was returned to me and I was told to watch that his claw was alright. More stress. This whole thing took 2 hours out of our morning and we drove away telling the owner of the hospital (who now came out to intervene between us and the vet) that the “claws were NOT clipped and she has wasted enough of our time.” AGAIN….terrible treatment…DON’T USE THIS PLACE. My bird was put through too much unnecessary distress.

This is the #1 place to go to get the best care for your Exotic pets. I have been going there since 2011 and would definitely say the care and compassion I and my Birds receive is overwhelming. Sure you will see negative reviews but what you are reading is from pet owners who do not take their pets in at the first sign of a problem so small problem low bills big problem high bills. The best way to know for sure is to go for yourself and find out first hand how much they care for you and your pets .And don,t let people who write those Negative reviews try to tell you that the Vets and staff are incompetent at the Vet Center Dr Laurie Hess credentials could fill one of her Exam Rooms . When you go to the VCB&E you are going to take your pet to a Exotic Pet Specialist where you will have the best chance of finding out what the problem is because of the knowledge and experience Dr Hess and staff have with exotic pets. I have had my birds Micro-Chipped and they sedated the birds to make it less stressful for the birds I have read horror stories where don,t know what kind of vet but no sedation was used and the bird died because of loss of blood from being stressed out. To find out what the problem is with your pet is gonna take tests, blood work, ex-rays I think some people think Dr Laurie Hess and staff can click their heels or rub a magic lantern or wave a magic wand and everything will be okay that,s not gonna happen . So please understand some of those negative reviews are from pet owners who are incompetent , Negligent , Inexperience people blame the Vets for something they are responsible for

My parrot, Gryffin, is a challenging case, and Dr. Marino has gone above and beyond in coming up with new ideas to help him! It is completely to her credit that Gryffin is still with me. I cannot fully express the appreciation I have for all the help and care that Gryffin has been given. Dr. Marino and the rest of the staff at the Veterinary Center for Birds and Exotics are truly the best!

This is the BEST place to go when looking for a vet for your parrot! They knew what they were talking about and gave me supplements to help my parrot become healthier and stronger. I learned a lot from them and they took great care of my white bellied caique! I HIGHLY recommend them.

5 stars isn’t enough to rate this place. It’s rare for me to give reviews but this place was too good to not review. I brought my duck with an infected foot in and they were amazing! I was expecting a high bill for the services but it wasn’t at all! I cannot believe how affordable the amazing services were. They were so nice and respectful, it was perfect. I’m never going anywhere else for my ducks, this is it. Stop looking for an exotic vet, go here!

I really loved it. My pet Guinea pig wasnt acting normal so I took her there and they said that she had a small breast tumor. The doctor showed it to me and said I could feel it, I was scared and they said to make her better they could do a small surgery that could make her live a full life. Anyway I was very impressed with all of the knowledge and I really trust them to make my Guinea pig all better

EXTREMELY OVER PRICED .while some of the staff were very kind , the people who Handled my precious pets ( my beloved chicken ) (then again later with a very sweet guinea pigs )in my opinion were very rough and inexperienced. grabbing and pulling them with seemingly no care for the panic or pain they were adding to the stress of the visit or the reasons why we were there because of illness or injury . The surgeries they put my animals through only turned into infection abscesses that they would not even examine or give any treatment for of any kind if I couldn’t pay up front more ridiculous Amounts of money ranging in the thousands. The so called expert was NEVER around . I was charged over 7 thousand dollars and with their insane and extremely inhumane Covid restriction rules Such as having to wait outside while they do whatever to your precious companion Including euthanasia or surgery!!!! They OBVIOUSLY DONT care about their clients needs or animals . ONLY MONEY . THERE IS NO going back for me . Why did they EVER Enter this Field in the first place??? THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT THE PLACE OF THE CARING PROFESSIONALS THEY PROCLAIM TO BE. I will have to travel further away for better respect, treatment and quality of care for the animals that I love and I suggest everyone else does too!!!

I brought my rabbit Future here for an abscess. It was drained by them and the doctor wanted to me to pay over $5000 for a procedure that may not work. I gave them X-rays that I had done somewhere else that showed that Future had severe malocclusion but the insisted that they also needed CT scans as well as other unnecessary tests. All they saw was $$$ when I came in. They wouldn’t even help identify if another rabbit of mine was female or male but somehow they had time to do a very time consuming and expensive procedure. In the end I got a second opinion from caring animal vet who told me that draining the abscess doesn’t stop it from coming back it actually opens it up for more infection!!!! So the drained poor Future’s face Making him look like a zombie bunny. On top of that once the wound closed it became reinfected and abscess started to push his eye out. The doctor who went to for the second opinion removed the entire abscess with the sac intact. The filler it with antibiotic beads and then gave me a special cream to keep the wound clean. This minor surgery greatly improved Future’s appearance and happinesses . I would urge you to not use this vet and seek out a second opinion . This place cares only about money & don’t believe they are experts like they claim they are.

I take all three of my ferrets here! Ive seen both Dr. Thielen and Dr. Britton; both extremely knowledgable and friendly. The entire staff, the receptionists, assistants, and doctors are super friendly and helpful. They make sure the cost of the exam and any tests are okay for you before they run them- which I love because Ive gone to vets where they say they need to run all these tests, dont mention a price, and then hit you with the bill after theyve already done them. Dr. Thielen and Dr. Britton offer great tips and answer all of my questions no matter how long the appointment takes. I travel 45 minutes from Rockland and it is definitely worth it. I highly recommend taking your exotic pet here!

Ive been bringing my guinea pigs to Dr. Hess for over 11 years. Recently, my nearly seven-year old guinea pig became ill, and was diagnosed with four concurrent health conditions, any single one of which could have been potentially fatal if left untreated. With the help of Dr. Hess and the phenomenal staff at the Exotics center, my guinea pig is now fully recovered. Her heart disease is being monitored and controlled with medication, and the other three issues have all gone away completely. Much of the credit for this has to go to vet tech Peggy Nardone, who spent several hours feeding and caring for my sick guinea pig over the span of an entire week. Id take care of the pig each night, and Id drop her off during the day so I could go to work. Without the fantastic care provided by everyone at the Exotics center, my guinea pig surely would have died. This was just one of the many positive experiences Ive had as a client.Dr. Hess has a great philosophy regarding medication, and is always cautious not to overprescribe treatments that arent necessary and could cause more harm than good. The facility is state of the art, and the x-ray machine is designed specifically for small animals, so the resolution of the images produced is much greater than youd get if took your small animal to a regular dog & cat vet for x-rays. Theres an in-house lab for analyzing samples, and scheduled ultrasound is available, although only on certain days of the week. Unscheduled sonograms may be available for emergencies, but Ive never had the need for this. However, the equipment is on-site. Anything that cant be analyzed or prescribed in-house can be sent out to an affiliate lab, pharmacy, or hospital.I live in close proximity to the Exotics center, but many other people travel great distances to obtain the best care available for their furry and feathered friends. Its definitely worth it.

My daughters snake was treated at this Vet office for a rectal prolapse. The bill was for over $400. In my opinion, this is exorbitant for taking two stitches to a snake. It seems to me that upsell is the name of the game here. Finally, the snake had to be euthanized(NO SURPRISE!). Again, the tab was over $400. Of course this included a Private Cremation for a whopping $172. A PRIVATE CREMATION! CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS? I suppose you can if you dont mind preying on a young college girl who is upset that her pet has to be put down. SHAME ON YOU! SLEEP WELL.

If I can give them a negative 5 star rating I would. They killed 2 of my Sugargliders because to them they were just another client. Not to mention they are way overpriced! $100 bucks just to walk into the door. Outrageous! I found a vet in Newburgh that takes them with much better care and price wise is nothing compared to them.

The Veterinary Center for Birds & Exotics is the best Veterinary I ever went too! I wish I found it sooner, I been there for almost 3 years! The reception Angela and the Staff are very loving people and are very caring! The waiting room is relaxing when you walk in with all the beautiful statues, their are exotic parrots in the waiting room Eclectus Parrot and a African Grey keeping us company when we wait. The exam rooms are spotless when you walk in, knowing the rooms are sterilize to prevent the spread of infection to one animal to another and knowing our Birds & Exotics are safe from any of the microorganisms in or on the environment to prevent the spread of infection gives me relieve!Dr. Hess... what can I say I love her the first day I met her! Dr. Hess lets me know before the exam what she is going to do and why! Dr. Hess does the exam and the blood work right in front of you and my birds are always calm when I am in the room with them! I love it when Dr. Hess and the Vet Techs pays close attention to my parrots if they have any signs of stress, Dr. Hess will give my birds a break to rest... she is very gentle with the Birds and Exotics! Dr. Hess and the Staff also uses a Bovie Pen to do the nails less stressful and its much quieter on the birds and exotics then using a grinder!Dr. Hess and Dr. Ravich literally treated my DYH Amazon Parrot in 5 days required treatment twice a day of medications for Lead Poison, my Amazon stayed at the Center 5 days, I dropped my Amazon Parrot off in the mornings and picked up my Amazon Parrot at nights to take him home! In 5 days of treatment my Amazon is lead free thanks to Dr. Hess and Dr. Ravich I cant thank them enough!I highly Recommend The Veterinary Center for Birds & Exotics! They have updated equipment and the most important thing you will leave there is the best Medical Care for your Birds & Exotics and a lot of Information about the care of your animal!

If I could give no rating I would but I’ll just say this 1 star rating is for the kind staff and assistants only. Was told by the vet not to worry and I was like so he’s isn’t going to die and she says no not yet this happened to my bird and it’s 6 years later and he/she is fine. So I figured okay he needs recovery time. The vet says she wasn’t worried AT ALL. and he’s gone 5 days later. I’ve been so depressed for months now. Now I’ve lost plenty of pets in my life and I’ve always made the hard decision to let them go during there time. They are out of pain. I got to help them get out of there pain. But I was given false hope for the first time in my life regarding my pet and he was the one who suffered. HE SUFFERED! And it kills me inside every single day that he went the way he did. He suffered because of the vet here. I’ll never forget this pain. This is the worst pain I’ve ever had he was my baby and his passing was not peaceful at all! I will never return here ever again!

Imagine going to the ER and as part of the visit the doctor tries to sell you supplements and some other health improvement device. Wait, whuuuut? Oh, and the price of these add-ons is baked into the final estimate for the entire emergency visit. Slick, real slick. Surely ethical business practices would have you quote the medical procedures separately from the optional well being add-ons.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY IN MY OPINION. They charged me almost $600 for my Guinea pig but literally did nothing to help her. All they want to talk about are fees. Don’t let the good reviews fool you like they fooled me. They care about your pockets NOT your pet in my opinion. EDIT: I was contacted by the owner of this vet asking me to take down my review because its negative. ABSOLUTELY NOT. This is my OPINION based on my own experience. In my opinion this place allegedly only cares about money. I will be taking legal action. The point of reviews is to express your experience and thats what Ill continue to do. Their protocol and service has changed since the Covid outbreak. Prices are way much higher and apathetic attitude from a majority of staff. No one at the front desk can price necessary services over the phone or even connect you to someone that can. These are hard times for everyone but it seems like they are out to make a extra buck or two at your pets expense. All my pet needed was a few extra services that was discussed prior and I’m being overcharged. If they are coming in for the same exact treatment as an prior visit, shouldn’t the price for those services be the same? Practice is going downhill... almost as bad as some doctors that “treat” people... disappoint in my current experiences with this practice

Im upset about my experience here especially in comparison to the vet I went to immediately after this. I went here the other day for my pet rat who has a confusing but immediate issue that needed immediate attention. I was given an extremely high priced estimate that seemed unreasonable so I decided to look elsewhere. I cancelled my appointment the day after I made it and explained that I found a better suited vet for my rat. A few days after I made my cancellation and made it clear I no longer needed their service, I received a phone call from dr hess and she basically questioned my cancellation alluding to the fact that I was picking price over my pets well being and asked where I went instead of them, which is none of their business. In my opinion, this is so completely unprofessional and rude to call someone who has made it clear that they will not be needing your service and allude to this harsh and inaccurate claim. If it was out of actual concern for my pet that wouldve been different.

I called about a month ago. My bird ashley was bleeding from a mass on her wing. The vet called me back with 5 min and walked me thru stopping the bleeding. They had me bring her in when they opened. It was the day the manager was getting married. Ashley ended up getting some antibiotics and muscle relaxants. I returned 2 days later for a follow up. Then a few weeks later I brought her back to have a biopsy on the mass. While waiting I got her a shot of antibiotics. The day the biopsy came back they called me. We remained in contact throughout the whole process. If I ever got another bird I would definitely recommend them and see them from the start. Unfortunately ashley passed away this past Sunday. She lived a long life of about 20 years. I am very happy with the level of care I received at the hospital.
