Backyard bones was a game changer for my house! Michele helped me work with my two dogs on practical training in my home. My dog also attended daycare at the Backyard Bones facility in Carmel and had a blast. She came home a happy and tired puppy. I am so happy I found Backyard Bones!

Backyard Bones is an amazing facility with equally amazing staff. The facility provides a safe and clean environment for dogs of all breeds and sizes to come play (or swim!) The owner, Michele, has an impressive dog training background and is very friendly. Bandit had an amazing time and left a very tired puppy. I would definitely recommend!

Backyard bones is amazing! Especially their grooming services! Desteni their groomer, is extremely friendly and amazing at what she does. I’ve been taking my goldendoodle to see her since he was a baby. My dog adores her and gets so excited to see her. Highly recommend backyard bones and Desteni if you need an amazing groomer!

My dog has been going for years and loves it. More importantly as the owner i feel safe leaving my dog with them. Clean, organized and the employees are all awesome.

Backyard bones is amazing! I’ve been bringing my dog Nala for almost a year and they are truly the best. I’ve seen a huge improvement with nala’s behavior since bringing her and she literally can’t contain her excitement when we pull up to the door. Michelle and her staff are always doing a fun activity with all the dogs. Besides the daycare they also offer grooming with Desteni who is the best! I have another dog Louie who is more difficult and she always does the best job on him! So happy I found backyard bones 🩷

There are not enough words to describe how great Backyard Bones is. Michele, the owner, is the best out there and her love of dogs is shown throughout the entire facility. From the happy hour passes, to the awesome groomers, and all the daycare activities, our lab is always nothing but happy to stay & play with her friends. The staff here are trained, attentive & caring. Kayla always comes out of Backyard Bones wagging her tail and smiling after a day of playing. I whole-heartedly trust and recommend this awesome facility.

Destiny has been my last and new dogs groomer for the past few years now. Shes the absolute best and really cares for her clients. The professionalism she shows carries in her work and my puppy always leaves there looking clean and beautiful. Shes the best when it comes to grooming. I would recommend anyone to go to backyard bones to get your pet taking care of. All the staff are very friendly and professional.

Backyard Bones is hands down the best doggy day care in the area! Our two year old Bernese Mountain Dog who is FULL of energy always comes home exhausted and so happy. He’s had issues at other day cares where he comes home so thirsty but the team at Backyard Bones always make sure he’s hydrated due to their personal attention given. Special shout out to the owner Michele who is great to work with and treats our dog as one of her own! Highly recommend sending your dogs to Backyard Bones for the best experience possible!

Backyard bones is there absolute best! Not only is Michelle the owner a complete dog whisperer, the entire staff is amazing. The facility is wonderful and filled with fun for the dogs—they even have a pool and you can sign your dog for a supervised lesson. They have holiday parties for the dogs as well! . My puppy gets a ride in the pup van twice a week from Michele and true story, he sits and waits by the door for her every other day. This place is a can’t miss for all dogs who love a good time and need some stimulation!

Horrible! I adopted a 7 month old lab and I scheduled an appt for doggy day care. They called me and asked that I emailVaccine paperwork and I did. I got there on the appt date and they informed me that they didn’t see the email and at that time they saw the email. My dog was so excited and then they said she was missing the bordertella shot and couldn’t start. I took her to the vet next week and scheduled another appt. At the next appt. to start day care, they said that they start her off by socializing her with one dog at a time until she gets used to it. After 3 minutes, they asked me to come back in a few months because she was scared of the dog. Mind you, we have a dog at home and she socializes with other dogs with no issues. Then they gave me info on training her with a group of dogs but they just told me that she was scared of other dogs, which makes no sense. I felt that they just did not want the dog there. She is not an aggressive dog at all.I was trying to reply to your comment but couldn’t. On your Instagram message, you stated that Xena showed her teeth and teeth is perceived as aggression, which you didn’t tell me in person but mentioned it in your reply to my message on Instagram.I was not disputing the need for vaccine but the fact that I emailed you all of her paperwork and you didn’t bother to go through your emails. You waited until I was there with the dog to say that she needed the vaccine. Had you told me when I sent the email 5 days ago, I would had it done by the appt.

The best dog day care around!! Ive been bringing my dog since they opened and he loves it here! the staff is amazing and very friendly, It makes me so happy knowing my pup is in such good hands every day!

Backyard Bones is the BEST! The entire staff shares the owners love of dogs, which is evident from how happy our dog is to see them! He is normally shy, but he loves them so much! The opportunity to add swimming to their day is HUGE. And the BEST grooming we have ever gotten. Our doodle gives them four paws up!

Backyard Bones is more than anything I could ever ask for. My dog River was only 2 months old when I started bringing her here and I couldnt be happier. As a new dog mom I wanted to be sure I leave my baby somewhere that feels like a second home. The employees are so kind and genuinely love spending time with her. We are always greeted with smiles and affection. The massive play areas are enclosed with glass windows so us dog parents can watch our pups play with their friends, both dog and human. Each room is filled with so many enrichment toys and activities. I can tell my pup loves coming here because she never wants to leave. I drive 35 minutes whenever I can to bring her, even if its just for a couple of hours so she can get some quality playtime in. We are so excited for the weather to warm up so River can play outside in their huge backyard. One of the best things about this facility is the focus on relationships. The employees really bond with the dogs and the parents and with that theyve created a beautiful sense of family. What theyve built here is truly so special. Destiny is an absolutely wonderful Groomer. My dogs both run to her when they see her. Its good to know that they trust her and are comfortable while they are in her care.

Don’t think about it and just do it!!!? My family and I recused our puppy molly back in June. Molly has been a GREAT addition to our family but we were struggling on keeping up with the sweet girl. I herd about backyard bones and it was no question to us that we had to give it a try… needless to say after her first day at doggy day care we already saw such a difference in molly!! The staff was so sweet and welcoming when molly and I arrived. They all assured me that she’s in great hands and not to get nervous when I see her playing with the other dogs. Well I felt like a proud mommy when it only took a few minutes for molly to adjust and I saw the joy in her eyes!!! I’m so happy we gave this a go!!! Michele and all the staff were so helpful in getting our golden doodle, Lily, acclimated to Backyard Bones!! As an only dog who was previously attacked by a neighbors dog, we were concerned that Lily might become fearful of all dogs. Michele worked with Lily, and within 2 visits, shes happy as can be going on her play dates at Backyard Bones!!! Many thanks to Michele and her staff!!!

I’ve sent my dog to several places previously but backyard bones is by far the best. I’m so glad I found them. Major bonus - my dog actually loves to be there and hates to leave. The staff are professional and knowledgeable and I don’t worry about my dogs safety or well being (can’t say that for all places!). Not to mention, the facility is impeccably clean. A business run right!

I met Michelle while working and i had my crew of pups with me. She let me know that she would be opening up any day. I switched my pups to her at Backyard Bones and could not be happier. She’s constantly posting/sending pics and giving me tips to help with the pups at home. They come home happy and tired whenever they have been there. I couldn’t be happier with this place!

I visited a backyard bones a couple months ago. The facility is clean and the staff is wonderful- you can tell they enjoy working there. I can’t wait to take my future dog there to have fun and go swimming and socialize with other dogs. The pick up service is great too- makes life so much easier!!

This place is AMAZING! Every time we go there they greet us by our name & actually care about the well-being and happiness of the dogs. My yorkie Lola goes there to play and comes back absolutely exhausted! She suffers from hip issues ever since tearing her ACL’s so the pool is such a great activity for her as well. Highly recommend!!!!

Finally the first daycare Barley has succeeded not only with play but grooming and training as well. Backyard Bones is different from others being they know the dogs and Who they play well with making each day Barley goes a successful fun time Michele, Kayle and all the staff are awesome and clearly love what they do!!!

Best staff and care for your dog!! Lots of awesome things for the dogs to do. Super easy to get to from anywhere in northern Westchester.

Absolutely gorgeous place. Michelle is an amazing owner. Took the time to give me a full tour and explain everything she does and it was easy to see how happy the dogs are and how attentive the employees are. Will definitely be bringing my pup there!

The staff here is absolutely wonderful. Michelle Goes above and beyond and loves these dogs like they are her own. I wouldn’t trust my babies with any one else!!! The establishment is very clean and they even have a pool. Highly recommend.

Kody LOVES visiting backyard bones. He has lots of fun and gets to play with his old and new friends. The staff is trained and very attentive and responsive to Kody. Their rooms are brand new and very clean. He is always willing and happy to stay.

Our puppy has been going to Backyard Bones for a little over a year. Just the fact that we drive 35 minutes out of our way to get her there should speak volumes of the facility, staff and ownership. On top of playing and socializing, there are also options for training, swimming and grooming. Our groomer Desteni is absolutely amazing, and takes such good care of our baby. Every time we pick our pup up from Desteni she looks and smells amazing!!

As an “older” dog Dora doesn’t run and play as much but enjoys her weekly play dates. Comes home exhausted

Friendly personnel, my dog has alot of fun there and comes home tired. Plus they have training and my dog now sits and stays and learns to stay calm. GREAT PLACE for your dog

My dog Orion is always excited to go to Backyard Bones! He gets groomed by Alexa and always comes out looking amazing! He doesn’t swim but he does LOVE to play so he gets tons of energy out there and I know he is in good hands. Ive sent many friends there and we all love it. Nice to see a placed that is woman owned & not corporate owned!!

Love the facility & staff. My dog not only loves it there, but he loves the owner Michele. Shes extremely professional, highly knowledgeable and trustworthy. Ive had Michele privately train my dog and could not be happier with the results. Affordable & fantastic value given the quality of the facility.
