Carly is a wonderful trainer! She is very pleasant to work with, and is kind and patient with our crazy dog. She arrives to sessions very punctual and prepared.We were at a loss for how to get our dog to listen, and after just one session with Carly, there was a huge improvement. We look forward to the skills our dog gains with each session.I would highly recommend Carly if you are in need of help to train your dog. The training my dog has done with Carly at The Polite Pooch has been extraordinary. Carly is a caring and compassionate trainer. She takes her time getting to know our dog and any anxieties he has. She points out the reason he reacts a certain way is because of a past anxiety, which has been very helpful in getting to know our rescue dog. We have had the opportunity to learn so much about him and so much about what what he can do and what we can do to ease his worries. Carly has brought an entirely new level of love and respect into our home from both me and my husband and our dog. We are extremely grateful for Carly in our lives. We would choose The Polite Pooch as our trainer ten times over.

Carly is amazing! Shes kind, reliable, funny, empathetic and an animal lover (our kitties -- especially our tortie! -- likes Carly too). We adopted a scared, unsocialized 6-month-old miniature poodle from a puppy mill situation who – thanks to Carly – is now blossoming. Through one-on-one training, puppy playgroups, and smaller puppy playdates, Remy has become a more confident, happy dog. Carly has provided us with invaluable information and significantly lessened our stress since adopting Remy, and we plan to continue to work with her as Remy ages!

If I could give Carly 1,000,000 stars, I would in a heartbeat. To tell you Carly is THE best would be an understatement! My puppy, Mia, LOVES Carly and so do I! Carly is wonderful in every way. Along with being very talented in her craft, she is extremely kind, fun, loving and compassionate. Puppy playdates have also been incredibly beneficial to Mia. I couldnt recommend Carly in a higher regard. I am so grateful to and for her. Carly is amazing! Shes a dog whisperer. My pup loved her from the minute he met her, he tried to follow her when she left! I was amazed that after just ONE session he learned so much and was responding to leave it and a few other commands so easily!! Looking forward to continuing his training with Carly! I interviewed 3 dog training professionals prior to selecting Carly. Carly was my selection as a trainer because of her proven/personal compassion for animals and her commitment to not using negative training techniques such as shock collars, negative rewards etc. as well as her certifications and work experiences. After 3 sessions I now have a much better understanding of how to manage/interact with my dog Cookie and what I need to do to continue the progress. Carly not only trained Cookie but also trained me. Leash training has made walks more enjoyable for Cookie and me. Basic commands are working well. I also have more reasonable expectations of what is possible thanks to Carlys honest feedback. I highly recommend considering Carly for help with your pet.

Carly is amazing, sweet and super caring about dogs! My pup Rowan absolutely loves her and she has been the biggest support since we brought him home. I can reach out to her at any time of the day with my questions and concerns and she is always happy to help, and to ease some of the anxiety that comes with being a dog mom! Carly has been walking our dog Max for the past several months. Max absolutely loves her, and Carly has been very patient and accommodating to all of Maxs quirks.
