Hounds Town - Commack Rd.

Oh my goodness! My Zain went there for the first time and he had so much fun. First, to get him acclimated, the amazing staff allowed him to sniff butts with another pup. It was like a match made in puppy heaven. My pup loved it and I decided to let him stay. Like any neurotic pup mom, I called to check on him. They said he was great. I was shocked! My energetic pup had found his community. Then to make matters best, he enjoyed a Pup-a-ciño since it was pupacino Fridays.Zain ended the day with an exit bath and he had a blast. I highly recommend Houndstown!!!

The evaluation process went well. Meeting the excellent staff gave me a good vibe. I, felt that I was bringing my dog to a safe environment. Viewing the other customers bringing in their dogs, just reinforced that good vibe.

Hounds Town Commack Rd is the BEST home away from home for my exuberant , large, goofy, playful dog! Ludwig LOVES going to HoundsTown and seeing and playing with all of his canine and human friends. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff especially. They are so sweet, helpful, friendly, conscientious, and know how to let dogs be dogs! The dogs are genuinely SO HAPPY there!! I don’t know what I would do without them. HoundsTown is truly a saving grace for Ludwig’s mental and physical health. And… I’m a veterinarian, and I would only let my dogs stay somewhere that I 110% trust. HoundsTown Commack and all the gals and guys who work there, are that place.

My year and half dog Atlas loves going here. He has the best time and he comes home tired. He is out for the rest of the night and most of the next day too. My favorite part is seeing pictures of Atlas on their Facebook page. He always has a goofy smile with his black tongue sticking out and my heart melts. Also love when they have events going on. Atlas loves going to daycare.

Henry had an amazing first day - friendly and welcoming staff! He got to meet the grinch and pick out a stuffed animal. Now he’s pooped!Super convenient services also - going to be great when I commute into the city consistently in the new year!

Nothing but amazing things to say about Hounds Town! They took such great care of my dog and made sure all my questions were answered when I dropped him off the first time. Everyone who works there is so friendly and they love every single dog!I can’t wait to bring my dog back here!

First time boarding our 7 month old pity & Hounds Town put any nerves I had to rest, they answered all questions I had on process + food + routine. They updated constantly with pictures and our pup looked beyond thrilled with her experience and love she was receiving. Would highly recommend!

This place is amazing. My dog, Willow, loves coming here. She gets so excited to see the staff and they seem genuinely excited to see her as well. They post pictures everyday that are always entertaining and every dog seems happy to be there. They host a pawty for every holiday and you get a picture of your dog in the proper attire. When I pick up Willow she is so tired from playing all day and gives you a relaxing night.I could not say enough good things about this place.Thank You So Much Hounds Town

I absolutely love Hounds Town! Teri and Thomas are so nice and explain everything you need to know. My two goldens got picked up by the pet taxi for their first day of daycare. I cant tell you how convenient it is to have someone pick them up before i go to work and drop them off after I return home for the day. I really feel like Im putting my kids on the bus for school and they just adore Thomas the owner who picks them up. I am a bit of a helicopter mom when it comes to my girls so knowing that their is a vet tech managing this location gave me such peace of mind. I also love that my girls always have someone to play with since the dogs being boarded play with the daycare dogs making this a fully interactive daycare. And, Teri the owner told me all about their 24 hour surveillance so if I ever chose to board my girls there I know theyd be safe. I cannot wait to get them groomed by their grooming department. The convenience of having them picked up from from my house for daycare, play all day, get a grooming then get dropped off exhausted and clean at the end of the day is a dream!

My brothers dog Mila LOVESSSSS whenever she gets to go to doggy day care at Hounds Town. My family cannot rave enough about this place- and the price is unbeatable as well!! If there is anywhere you want to put your pet for boarding or a day care - this is definitely the place !

There is no response needed or an ingenuous apology/ whatever absolves you your behavior. I met with a wonderful girl but she didn’t tell me much as to what to expect but I planned to go in for my dogs first session because she was nice. Strangely enough I was berated on the phone before I came in for my 1st session . Insinuating that I should know things that I was never informed of. It was so odd to be literally be berated for nothing other then lack of knowledge . She just kept asking “what dont you understand, in this tone ”. I won’t go into it any further. But what I do know, now, is you have lost a customer and by no fault of your own. by an incredibly disrespectful employee that seemed to be on the defensive the first sentence she uttered. Again if you (hounds town Commack ) reply you are only implicating yourself, instead call me. My dogs name is Rion. This is not a forum for the likes

I cannot begin to describe how thankful I am that Hounds Town exists. My dog loves it there and always returns home exhausted from a day of fun. The staff are so friendly and know each and every dog by name. They send daily photo updates like the one shown here too!If your dog suffers from anxiety from being left alone (like ours does)… Call Hounds Town, you won’t regret it.

Sunny has been going several times a week. The best review I can giv is how happy sheelling is when she arrives and how tired and relaxed she is on the return. A daily bath has her coming home in great condition.

Never had so many pictures of my dog smiling when she is there. She loves going there and gets so excited. The staff is great!

Our dog Bosco has been attending the Commack Road location for a few years now. Hounds Town is the only place we trust. They go above and beyond to ensure all the puppers are happy and well cared for. Holly, Justina and all of the staff are warm and welcoming. They are all very responsive and super knowledgeable. Bosco can’t wait to go again to spend time with his 4-legged buddies!

Love this place. The staff is always so nice and caring. I really trust leaving my dogs here and that doesn’t come easy for me. Love the pawtys, day camp and boarding.

They care for your pets in a way I would not recommend. My 7 1/2 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback was returned to me with bloodied cheeks and other cuts. The last time I picked him up he had a cut under his left eye. They never cleaned him up or wiped him down until I picked him up and said something. They do not have anyone in the rooms with your pets. The owner of this location dismissed it saying this is how they play. I also called the franchise owner and he stated the same. I now bring Nico to Pet Smart. They have someone in the room and if your pet happens to get cut they take him out of the room and bring to the Vet located in the store. Very disappointed with the level of care and concern for my puppy at Hounds Town. If you love your pet dont bring them to Hounds Town.

Temperament test was quick and easy. I knew the process because my dog got 1 at the Garden City and Hicksville locations

Im rather new to Hounds Town and have been evaluating several business for doggy day care. By far this location has had the best staff. They were able to answer questions, they helped us determine the best packages for our needs and did it with a smile. The facilities are very clean, there is a strong dog smell in the place but all locations have that, but other than that everything is really clean. It was also important for our dog to interact with other dogs, not just sit in a cage. But our dog is very timid, the staff worked it out so he was gradually introduced to other dogs and kept in smaller groups till he became comfortable. They take pictures and post them on a private facebook page which is nice touch. They also give report cards which list out the friends they made that day. They also offer all sorts of grooming services which is really convenient. If you cant tell by now I strongly recommend them.

My 6 month old pup is new to this daycare. It has been one issue after another almost every time I’ve picked him up. I understand dogs can get rough and mouthy but my dog gets anxious when he is left alone and as a result of that, he obsessively licks himself near his private area causing a bad rash. There were two times I picked him up and he had that rash all over his belly/groin meaning he was left alone or locked up in a crate for a long time. I’ve had times where he’s been so sick with diarrhea to the point he was just pooping out straight mucus. I’ve taken him to the vet more after he started going to Houndstown than from when I did when we first got him and had to take him to the vet for vaccines and checkups.He also gets incredibly dirty covered in dog urine, dirt, etc. We’ve picked him up being completely matted from the amount of dog pee crusted on him. Because he ends up getting that dirty, we ask for them to bathe him which we obviously pay for. The sign in the front of the daycare advertises baths as a shampoo, dry and brush. Today I picked up my pup after we had paid for him to be bathed and he was COVERED in urine. He smelt like a bum from Penn Station. His fur was completely matted, he was crusted, sticky and yellow. They claimed he was bathed but he obviously was not. I brought him back into the daycare after looking him over and told them he’s covered in urine and was definitely not bathed. The guy that worked in the front just looked at me like I had six heads and i even showed him the mildew on my fingers from when I touched my pup. He said he would bring him in the back and “rinse his paws off.” My dog’s entire body was covered in urine. I told them I wanted my money back and wanted to speak to the owner. I had to drive home with the windows down because of how bad my pup smelled and then gave him a bath myself. The water coming off of him in the tub was yellow. I had to shampoo him TWICE to get the urine completely out.I spoke with the owner and asked her how I can trust someone to watch and care for my puppy when they aren’t truthful about giving him a bath?! If they aren’t being truthful about giving him something as simple as a bath, then what else are they not being truthful about? The owner told me he doesn’t get dried or brushed and gets left in a crate to dry off on his own. That would explain why he is matted and stinks too. It annoys me that the baths are advertised as shampoo, dry and brush but they didn’t do any of the three!We will definitely not be going here anymore. We are VERY disappointed.(See pictures below to show a couple pictures of the crunchiness/urine in his fur).

Hounds town is by far the best daycare! My dog was a rescue and i was so scared of her not being socialized as a puppy. Ever since she’s been going there, she is SO good with dogs, kids, and overall a way more social dog. The staff here is absolutely unbelievable and even after a short amount of time, my dog Faye became a part of their family! The staff is so loving and caring! There is no better place to send your dog. This is a family here, not just a daycare ❤️

We adopted our dog Montana 3 months ago… we needed daycare for a week just about a month after adopting her. The staff at Hounds Town Commack could not have been more helpful, reassuring and caring on-our first visit. They went over protocols and answered all the questions we had. We are now taking her there every few weeks for some social time with the other day campers, As well as utilizing the “spa” grooming services they offer.

Maximus always has a great time at his home away from home. We are always happy knowing he will be having fun with his buddies when we are away and that he is well cared for. With his buddies and pooped when home.

Been bringing my rescue puppy Augie here for a few months now. She loves it. Always comes back exhausted from playing with the other dogs. The staff is amazing. They’ve been so wonderful with taking care of her. I would give Hounds Town and their staff 10 stars if I could.

Love Hounds Town in Deer Park, our pup seems so spirited and happy after staying here, and to boot, he naps like a baby afterward. Having fun is exhausting for dogs too apparently. Many thanks to Justina and the rest of the Hounds Town team for treating our Walt as if he were your own!

My great pyrenees puppy always has so much fun there. She is excited to go in the morning and tired at night from playing all day. Everyone there seem wonderful and caring and are always quick to return phone calls. They patiently answer all our questions. The exit bath which is available at an extra cost is great too. I highly recommend Hounds Town Commack Rd.

Love everyone at Hounds Town! They’re always doing something adorable for the dogs like back to school photoshoots and PAWties 😂. Love that they celebrate the dogs and their birthdays and get so many pictures.

Very happy with my experience at Hounds Town Commack Road. They were able to accommodate me on very short notice when I was unable to find anywhere else for a weekend boarding. They were very flexible with drop off/pick up times and had him bathed and ready to go. Seems like he had a great time too based on the pictures (and falling fast asleep when he got home). Would definitely recommend this facility for your daycare/boarding needs!

My dog Bradley has been going to hounds town since we moved into the area in 2019! Hounds town is very clean and maintained well. I really like that the daycare has indoor and outdoor play time for the pups. When I drop Bradley off, I know he is in excellent hands. Hounds town staff is very friendly and amazing with my taking care of my furbaby! We recently adopted his sister Maggie and she had her first day of doggy daycare today and loved it! Thank you so much for taking wonderful care of my babies!

Our wonderful neighbor told us about Hound town where she took her puppy a few times and he loved it. I took my puppy Theo there today they staff were amazing, very kind and professional they cared, I got lots of updates with pictures and was able to chat with the lovely employees. At the end of the day Theo came back a happy boy and we can not wait to take him back to hound town.

We just started taking my beautiful rottie girl to hounds town in deer park. She is a diva and loves attention. We love the fact they have a out door play area. She loves dog parks and meeting new friends so this place is perfect for her. This was her third visit and we tried their spa service which was perfect. She came home clean but most of all sleepy. We just moved into the area and decided to make hounds town or second home for our little fur baby! Thank you to the staff and everyone there for keeping our baby safe all day while we make money to buy her snacks!!!!

I was recommended this camp by a friend. Hounds Town offers a free first day which is so amazing! The staff was friendly and you could tell they love their job. The facility was clean and well run.My puppy had a great day of playing. I loved that they post photos to their private FB group!We will definitely be bringing him back to play!

Hounds Town is so convenient, I have been using their doggie daycare and boarding services for the past year. I love being able to drop my pup off in the morning for daycare without a reservation and they are open early so I can get to work with time to spare. They post pictures during the day so I can see all the fun he’s having and when I pick him up he is exhausted. The staff at Hounds Town are caring and helpful, and my pup happily runs in whenever we go.

Our dog absolutely loves boarding at Hounds Town! He is so happy that we let him go on his own vacation. At his latest stay he was not feeling himself and the staff and owners of Hound Town kept us informed and they took care of him even better than we could have ourselves. We are so happy to have a place that we can trust with our furry family member.

Well, it will be almost 2 years that Daisy started going to doggie day care at Hounds Town in Deer Park and she still loves it. When I drop her off, she never looks back at me with sad eyes looking to leave. Instead, its an excited dog I drop off. She is just so happy to go there. The staff are great and treat each dog like their own. The best part is when I pick her up, she will sleep for over 12 hours. She has some Hounds Town hangover after a day there playing with all her friends. I usually drop her off one or two days a week on my way to work and it is so worth it. Thank you, Hounds Town!!

Milo and I Love Hounds Town!! Staff is great and caring. Love all the events they have for the pets. It was nice to get Milo’s paw print for Mother’s Day. Also love that they take pictures of the dogs playing during the day. I highly recommend them!!

I love this place. Everyone knows my dog - including to watch her in the heat. She comes home exhausted from playing all day and clean from the bath. Biggest bonus is that she charges for the door and cant wait to go when I bring her back. Everyone who works there genuinely loves all dogs. They are a fantastic group.

My dog absolutely loves going to Houndstown. The dogs spend the day playing with other dogs of the same temperament and energy level. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. My dog comes home exhausted, which is great, because I cannot tire him out that way at home. I love knowing he is happy while I am at work, and I get to see pictures and video of him during the day on social media. I have no hesitation recommending this facility to my friends.

In full disclosure I have only one daycare experience to rate them on but what I can say is all of the staff I dealt with were extremely accommodating, professional, and friendly, starting with my first communication with Justina before my trip from Tennessee to NY. I brought my two four month old puppies for the first free daycare while I went to a medical appointment. This was very last minute and I could not have been treated better by Jamie and Holly as well as all of the girls working that day.Upon picking up my puppies they appeared relaxed and in good health. The attitude of the staff is why I gave this 5 stars and they instilled in me the confidence to bring my puppies back again and plan to do so in the near future.

Holly and Jaime were absolutely amazing!! I rarely submit reviews. We have been bringing our pup here for a few years, always professional, loving, truly I can’t say enough. This past visit we left our dog for 9 nights. My daughter missed our pup and they sent pictures. They treated our dog as their own!

We have been using Hounds Town for the last two years and we truly adore them! They take such great care of our pit/lab mix and he loves going. We have left him there for short and long visits and they are always consistent in their care and service! They are THE best!

My 1 year old dog was struggling with separation anxiety and being shy around other dogs. We started to bring him to Hounds Town when our work schedules changed and he is a new dog now! He opens up to other dogs, has no problem leaving me, and loves it. Everyone there truly loves the dogs, making sure they’re happy. Great experience!

The Hounds Town staff @ Commack are awesome!!! They’re all super friendly and reliable and most importantly they take great care of my big guy! They’re great at socializing the dogs and he always comes home smelling squeaky clean and exhausted. It’s great that I’m able to follow his day through social media too-makes you know he’s having fun and in good hands. They also are great for boarding - they made it super easy and convenient, even with last minute plans!

Hounds Town Commack Rd is the BEST! My dog is so well cared for there. The owners and the entire staff are so loving to my dog and I know she is safe while she is there. Hounds Town Commack Rd is my dog’s favorite place to go and she gets so excited when I tell her she is going. I love the interactive play the dogs have with each other. It’s the natural way for them to play and it’s a great way for them to spend their energy. I’ve also boarded her there multiple times while away on vacation and I have NEVER once worried about her there. I know she is so well taken care of!! It is like her second home and family when she is there. They also have a groomer which is so convenient. I recommend Hounds Town Commack Rd to everyone and will continue to bring my dog there indefinitely.

I wouldn’t leave my furbaby anywhere else except here! I found Hound’s Town about 2 years ago during a panic (was new to boarding at the time), and really needed a trustworthy place to watch my girl. Hound’s Town was recommended numerous times by various local vets, so I decided to give my location a ring. With a simple meet and greet, it was decided immediately that this was the place (fur) her. Now, my Great Pyrenees is friends with all the staff, they know her temperament really well, and I even get her high-maintenance coat groomed on a monthly schedule. Personable, accommodating and caring staff, clean and cozy lodgings, awesome in-house groomer (Thank you SO much Anne)…the list goes on. 1000/10 for us! 🐶❤️😊

I love Hounds Town, they are so nice and I love how they posts pictures of my Smokey throughout the day so I can see how he is doing. The pricing is affordable and Smokey has been having the time of his life there. It’s great exercise and perfect if you don’t want to leave your separation anxiety pup home alone.

This is our 4th time using hounds town for our Boston terrier and we couldn’t be happier! She comes back happy, clean and tired. Love that they share daily photos so we can see how she’s doing. Great place, highly recommend!

We brought our pup, Hunter, for his first day at Hounds Town this week, and he had such a great time! I loved that he was placed in a group with other large and playful dogs, and it was great to see that he was doing well throughout the day from the photos on the group Facebook page. He made lots of new friends, and cant wait to come back to Hounds Town Commack Rd again!

Hounds Town just simply goes above and beyond for the dogs. My dog Harley is a rescue & very much so attached to me, so I was nervous about bringing her, but throughout the day as Hounds Town posted updated pictures on their facebook group, there my girl was smiling ear to ear! The way they celebrate the dogs birthdays is incredibly sweet too. We are so happy to have found Hounds Town Commack and will definitely be back :)

I moved here from out of state and needed a daycare that would not only take care of my 2 year old dog but also be flexible with my hospital schedule. Holly, John, and the entire team at Hounds Town Commack Rd. have treated my dog and I so amazing since the day we started going there. My shifts are always random and Holly worked with me to accommodate my needs. I have never been so well taken care of by a daycare before and I truly couldnt be more grateful to them! They make life so much easier knowing my beautiful girl is well taken care of while I am at work and they always keep me updated with pictures and ask how my day has been. This place is truly a gem and all dogs should go here!

Hounds Town is hands down the best place. My dog is so happy to go every time. The amount of love from the employees is amazing they treat every animal like their own. My puppy a little over 1 year old stayed at Hounds town in Deer Park for 2 nights. I couldnt be more pleased. They showed me the live camera to make sure he was ok. He was shy but wagging his tail. I called a couple of times- they were so attentive.When we picked him up - he was bathed and happy! Even came home with a toy cat! I would definitely use them again and totally recommend!

We boarded both of our pups - one is a senior & other has crazy energy. They both had groups that met thier personality, and they got to spend the night together. Both pups seemed to have had a great time!

The staff and ownership at Hounds town commack is the best around. The entire facility is clean, well staffed and supervised. My pups always are eager to go back for daycare to play with their friends and they love having sleepovers too! 5 out of 5 for cleanliness, friendly, caring and above all else a safe environment for my pups.

We took our dog to Hounds Town for daycare on 7/9. She came happy, healthy, and tired. We were very pleased with the service we received, saw picture updates of her playing, and even joined an online group for play and boarding. We intend to return in August when we go on vacation. My puppy LOVES going to play at Hounds Town. She’s young and still learning her manners and her playtime here is helping a lot. She’s getting to socialize with other dogs and getting used to meeting new people. Plus she comes home nice and tired which is a real bonus for me since her energy is off the charts. Everyone there is so friendly and it’s clear they care about all of our dogs. My puppy gets terrific care for a great price. I couldn’t be happier.

My dog has stayed at Houndstown Deer Park a number of times. Honest review here.......Sadie seems to love it! The staff is great, the FB page shows photos every day of them playing, the outdoor area is nice and the pool and sprinklers are a great addition. I have nothing but great things to say. Sadie has been there around 5x now. I am very particular as well. Sadie is safe and happy when there.

First time for our new pup to go to daycare. We heard great things from two other people that send their dogs here. Very nice staff answered questions, explain things and honestly seem to all love the pups. It was a great way to give him some exercise especially since all this snow. But more so to interact with other dogs and he loved it, hes tuckered out.Very clean nice setting. He will be back and they offer grooming, boarding ect.

Everyone at the DeerPark/Commack road Hounds Town are amazing. When I first brought my dog there in April, his tail was between his legs and I was so nervous. 3 months later, by dog jumps out of the car, tail wagging and can’t get in the door fast enough. The confidence he has gained by socializing with the other dogs along with the handling by different staff members is unbelievable. They reassure us dog parents when we drop them off whether to play or board and always willing to answer any questions I may have. Highly recommend them for all their services

We boarded my dog here for a week and while my dog is insanely energetic and a very picky eater they noticed he wasnt eating and notified us they will use wet food and wanted to make sure he wasnt allergic to any types of food. They care for these dogs and always give you updates and photos if you miss your puppers!

Our “homebase” Houndstown is the Island Park location. We forgot to book a reservation for the Easter break. The Commack location put us on their waiting list (we were the first on the list, So we had some hope of a last minute cancellation!) we got the call 2 days before our trip. Our pups came home super tired and totally happy!! We also loved how each day we boarded them, there was at least one picture posted! Such an easy way to make a client feel comfortable that their pups are happy!! And for each location, all employees are very friendly and you can tell they absolutely their jobs well as every pup that walks through the door!

We use hounds town every single time we need boarding for our pup. They have nothing short of excellent everytime. From quick weekends to 2 week stays they are the best. Friendly service. They update you with pictures and everything. Recommend them 100%

Abby seemed to have a wonderful stay at Hounds Town Commack. She adjusted to the other dogs with the help of the staff for the 9 days she was there.The staff was friendly and compassionate with her and the others dogs. I appreciate the photos too.

My Amstaff has been attending Hounds Town/Commack doggie daycare for about a month now and absolutely loves it. When he comes home from daycare he’s exhausted from playing all day with his furry friends 💙The owners and staff are very professional and friendly with the dogs & owners. The location is also very clean. I would highly recommend Hounds Town.

We absolutley love this day care . The staff is friendly and accommodating and treat the pups as if they are family . If looking for a day care for your pup to socialize , board or groom . We cant reccomend hounds town enough.

My husband and I have been bringing our now 1 year old puppy, Sebastian to Hounds Town Commack Road since the summer of 2020 and it was the best decision we ever made. The staff is incredible; so kind and caring and really treat every dog like their own. They keep us updated throughout the day with photos of Sebastian playing with his friends; its nice to see and brings peace of mind knowing our furbaby is in the best hands. I highly, highly recommend this establishment to anyone who needs a clean, safe and loving place to bring your pup.

Picked up my dog a few days ago after boarding her for a week. The staff seemed great, however, at pick up I was told she injured her nail/paw. She was limping and it was very swollen. I took her to the vet and ended up needed X ray, sedation, and a wash out procedure. So tack on another $1500 to my boarding bill for one week = not happy. Will not return.

This was the first time I boarded Bird with anyone since rescuing him last year. I was a little apprehensive leaving him for such a long time (9 days) but after going there for an evaluation to see if he was a good fit, they offered him a free day at daycare to see how it would go. He loved it which put our minds at ease. They put him in the puppy room to get him acclimated and he did great (that was Monday). Friday we left him with his bed, toy, food and treats in tow for the start of his pupcation. He was so missed by us but loved that they posted pics daily on FB and were eager to speak to me when I called to check in. We picked him up upon our return and was pleasantly surprised at how happy he was. He has been home almost 24 hours now and so excited that nothing has changed (he didn’t pick up any bad habits or changed anything he has done within our home…except sleep a little longer). Thank you HoundsTown for keeping our Bird E. boy comfortable (in his own suite), well fed, and interacting with his new friends. We are looking forward to returning for more fun.

My dogs just spent another few days in boarding at Hounds Town in Commack! They get so excited on the car ride there! Staff are amazing and treat your pets like family! Highly recommend!

The Hounds Town Staff are caring professionals! Because of them our almost two year old Vizsla had an amazing 1st day at doggie daycare. It has given us much needed peace of mind for future daycare dates and boarding. I highly recommend Hounds Town!

We adopted a dog in early 2020 and she had so much energy that it was impossible to keep up with her during the work day. We were recommended to Houndstown Commack by several people and were so glad we decided to bring our dog there. She gets all of her energy out and makes a lot of dog friends along the way. We feel totally comfortable dropping her off and know shes in good hands throughout the day. They also have a private Facebook group where they post pictures throughout the day so you can see what your dog is up to. I also love how they do themed parties for holidays so your dogs can go to their own pawties and come home with such cute goodies. Its a really nice touch. We love Houndstown!

I love Hounds Town but more importantly so does my dog Sam! We ask if he wants to go to school and he lights up. He wags his tail so hard youd swear he could take off like a helicopter. Always been a great experience and staff is wonderful! He comes home ready for bed after a fun day!

We left our puppy Nora at Houndstown over Memorial Day weekend. We had previously had a bad experience with boarding her somewhere else and Houndstown made us feel good about being able to leave her! They posted pictures and took great care of our baby :) she was exhausted after her stay, so I think she had a good time. Thank you!

Hounds Town in Commack is absolutely amazing, i was so nervous about bringing my bandit around other dogs because he was so nervous and didn’t want to interact much. Well he just had his first day and after picking him up i swear he was smiling & Ive never seen his tail wag so fast. I was updated with pictures throughout the day watching him play with the other dogs and even received a report card with how his day went. The staff is so friendly and really cares for each dog that comes in. I can’t wait to bring Bandit back, would give this place a 12/10!!!!

Hounds Town has been such a gift to us since bringing home our sweet girl! Having a German Shepherd comes with high energy and a need to let it out! While we’re at work we never have to worry about that! A day at Hounds Town means a day well spent! Because of Hounds Town, we have a dog who LOVES people and LOVES other dogs!

This is my first time putting my 3 pups in doggie daycare. I was hesitant with how they would be treated and how my pups would behave around other dogs. Houndstown Commack Rd. alleviated all my concerns and fears. The staff (especially Jamie) are wonderful. I was updated on my pups during the day and the reports cards were an added bonus. I’ve already scheduled future boarding sessions. My pups are now fast asleep from their fun day.

I was so reluctant to send my dog to doggy day care. I got him during the pandemic and we have spent every waking second together since September. I knew he needed to gain some independence and socialize. I googled too many places to count and came upon Hounds Town Commack Road. I read the reviews and felt confident to give it a go. My nervous little boy has gone twice now and although he is still a bit nervous at drop off, I get pictures and messages from the staff throughout the day reassuring me I made the right decision. Marty has such a great day and I feel so good knowing I made the right decision for him. Thank you to the staff for treating my baby like your own and giving him such a wonderful experience.

Today was Abbies first day at Hounds Town. She had such a great time and even came home with a report card! 😅 Everyone has been friendly and professional. Today was the first day of doggy daycare for my German Shepherd Puppy Saint and I couldn’t be happier. I’m so glad I found this place! From the first evaluation on Saturday to pick up today everything was so smooth. Everyone’s so friendly and there’s absolutely ZERO trying to sell you. They even updated me with pics throughout the day ❤️ Saint slept the entire way home and even needed a nap after his dinner. This doggy daycare was one of the best things I could’ve done for him physically and mentally. I look forward to seeing him make new fur friends throughout the year 🐾

My experience with Hounds Town was exceptional. Hounds Town was the second place we went to look at. The first was so dark and gloomy, but walking into Hounds Town-it was bright, cheery, inviting-being part of the lgbtq community it was so welcoming to see that they had rainbows and signs up! We are all about a vibe and we just knew this was where our little Kobe belonged! We needed a last minute board for our 4 month old rescue and we couldn’t have picked a better place! So much so that we bought a daycare package when we picked up our pup today! Since being home he has been tuckered out! He can’t wait to go back and be completely spoiled by the staff! And make some more doggie friends!! Thanks Hounds Town!

This was our first time boarding Kylo & it was absolutely the best experience we have ever had boarding him. Seeing the pictures everyday of how happy & playful he has with the other dogs made us have such a better vacation knowing he was being taken care of. We will definitely be boarding him in the near future. We love Hounds Town Commack Rd and so does kylo!!

My puppy absolutely LOVES his time at Houndstown. The girls that take care of him capture the most wonderful pictures of him playing with his friends and socializing with other dogs. As soon as I say Luke do you want to go to Houndstown? He runs to the door to grab his leash and howls as we approach the building. I have left Luke here for every vacation and he goes for daycare 1-2x a week and I couldnt imagine going anywhere else! Make sure to check out one of their monthly Pawtys- but caution, its a addicting!! Your dog will be such a happier pup after spend time at Houndstown!!!

Ranger had a blast. The staff is amazing they kept me updated and sent pictures every day. He was nervous at first around other dogs. By the time he left he was a social butterfly. I have to say came home better behaved. Love you guys and thank you again for being so caring.

Weve been taking our Charlie to Hounds Town Commack Rd for over a year. Weve also boarded him there quite a few times. They are so loving and professional each and every time we drop him off. My 9 month old Labrador Retriever absolutely loves going to Hounds Town. He gets so excited when we pull up that he cant wait to get out of the car. He comes home exhausted every day after all the fun hes had.

Before I rescued my dog (Daisy) in April 2020, I looked for a doggie day care that could accommodate my work hours. I work in healthcare 2 to 3 days a week and am out of the house for over 12 hours on those days, sometimes longer. Hounds Town USA, Commack Road has been a life saver to me. I could not have rescued Daisy without them. I drop her off at 6AM and pick her up at 6:30 or 7PM. I originally felt guilty leaving her there for those long hours, but I have never seen such a happy dog when I return for her. There are times when I pick her up that she does not want to leave, she truly loves the place and staff. While at home if she sees me get her leash, she thinks we are going to the car and heading to day care. The tail wagging, jumping, and yapping for me to take her there is amazing. She drags me to the building when we get there as she cannot wait to play with her friends. Knowing that there is always a chance I cannot get out of work on time and that the staff at Hounds Town Commack Road will feed and board her for me is such a relief. It has now been 9 months that Daisy has been going to Hounds Town, Commack Road and I cannot thank them enough for making my life easier knowing my dog is happy and in great hands.

If I could give the men and women of houndstown more than 5 stars I would. My boy, Woodrow Wilson, loves going there and I was hesitant boarding him when I went away for a short weekend. Well, they were so accommodating and understanding that they sent me pictures and updates every day. They are so outstandingly funny, kind, and professional. My pup LOVES going and I LOVE how tired he is! #houndstownhangover is very real! I highly recommend this place to colleagues and friends in the deer park area!

My Callie Girl Loves going to Hounds Town Daycare.. The Staff there takes good care off all the fur babies. They are there to greet you at the door in the morning for drop off and afternoon/evening for pick up. They are hands on and plays with the puppies all day and closely watched on camera .. They post all the pictures and videos on their Facebook Hounds Town Group page.. Highly recommend.

I am boarding my Pup for the first time. We used the free doggy day care and 1/2 off grooming. Let me just say, I feel so much better about leaving him in their hands. The Facebook pictures were awesome!!!!

My dog dakota is a sweet huge pony. He loves hounds town and all the staff. He is able to be with any dog even though he’s huge and big. Great first impression! Walked in to get my dog a bath, no appointment. The professional staff greeted me, my dog, made us feel super welcome. Gave my dog a bath and even played with her while she waited to get picked up. The bath took an hour as projected. Not my last visit!

My dog Boe stayed at Comack facility for 3 days and when I picked him up he was lethargic and non respondent. I said is this my dog because he is always happy and energetic. Right away when I got home when I touched his front paws he expressed pain. I called and asked them to review their tapes. No response. Because he is a chocolate lab idid not notice the scabs on the back of his front legs. Eventually the scabs fell off and I could see the scars on the back of his legs. Boe is a powerful dog but has been trained to get along with all the dogs in the neighbor and never had to defend himself. These inexperienced people put him together with aggressive dogs. I will never go back to Hounds Town again

I love when Cali stays at Hounds Town. She has so much fun and is completely calm when she comes home. They post the cutest photos on their FB page. The dogs all seem to be smiling! Sometimes I look at the pix for fun, even when Cali isnt there!! 🐶

The staff is fantastic.The facility is perfectly set up for pups to play during their entire stay. Our pup loves going.The place takes every opportunity to celebrate events and make it a fun experience (birthday photos, holidays, etc)I cant recommend this place enough.

I usually board my baby girl Charlotte at the Hounds Town in Ronkonkoma they were full for the Fourth of July weekend. We were happy to have the Hounds Town in Deer Park able to take her. The quality of care is the same superior service we expect. Kudos to the franchise owners of Deer Park for training and hiring the high quality employees it takes to make us happy!

Our dog had the best time today at day care! He’s been sleeping for nearly 6 hours since we picked him up, which is incredible considering there are currently fireworks going off in the distance - normally sending him into a barking frenzy. Too tired to hear fireworks? He’s like a different dog!So happy with how relaxed he was when we picked him up too. Can’t wait to go back!

I have taken my dog to pet smart and pet I grooming and has always returned with cuts on her tummy, butt or paws. Hounds Town informed me that my dog is calm and doesn’t even move, they obviously treat dogs with love. They do a great job. Lassie looked fabulous.

Houndstown on Commack Rd has been a game changer for both our family and our giant puppy, Scout. The staff has been reliable, informative, and easily accessible to say the very least. Scout goes to daycare on a regular basis, receives exits baths and grooming services periodically, and has boarded at Houndstown. Our nerves whenever we leave him are calmed by their support and expertise with every service they provide. Although he is as loud as it gets, he is very social with other dogs and that is all due to his experiences at daycare. We cannot thank Houdstown enough for everything they do for our dog.

We left our 2 dogs over night for boarding for the first time. They were nervous at first but we were told they settled in nicely and had a good time. Staff was very nice and helpful. We will be using them again for sure.

My pup came to play here while on vacation. She seemed happy and no issues, but she was wiped down at the end of the day with something extremely perfumed. My pup goes to daycare 3 times a week where we live and has never come home smelly, so Im unsure why she was wiped down (or sprayed down) here. Whatever it was was very harsh on my allergies. My dog also has sensitive skin so while it didnt seem to bother her, I wish they wouldnt have done this. Again, makes me raise an eyebrow as to why. Dogs play rough and get spitty / covered in saliva sometimes but again, seemed weird.

My dog was warmly welcomed and after his evaluation he stayed for a few hours. He seemed to feel comfortable with the experience and I will bring him back for play time again. It will be nice to board him here since hell know the staff.

The staff are very friendly and treats my baby boy vey well. This is a good place for your pet. Mine loves coming here and spending time with the other dogs. HoundsTown is his happy place!

Lazzy, my Siberian husky puppy, spent the day for the first time yesterday and had a blast!!! Everyone there was friendly and informative and answered all my questions and concerns . Holly and Jackie were wonderful and patient and I felt so comfortable after Lazzy spending the day there that I booked her for boarding. It was great during the day to see her on the facebook page and could see that she was in her happy place. Jaime was also great at the desk and patiently answered all my nervous mom questions as well as my 3-4 previous phone calls!!!

I took my dog there twice so far for grooming. Between covid and everything being shut down, my dog was matted and they did an amazing job grooming her. She looked extremely cute and had no Knicks. Anny (groomer) is absolutely amazing and super nice. The price is amazing! Cheaper then alot of places but the work is much better then any other place ive been too! I will bring my dog there for life! Highly recommend!

I brought my golden retriever Riley here. The staff is very personable and friendly. They really seem to care about the dogs. Riley came home happy and exhausted! I highly recommend hounds town.

We’ve been bringing our dog Sam to Houndstown on Commack Road since May 2020. Everyone working at this location has been wonderful. From the photos we’ve viewed Sam seems to be having a great time. He gets excited the minute we pull up to the building.

Oakley our Hot Dog Loves Hounds Town ……. We see him daily on Facebook while he stays over nite at Hounds Town … He’s active all day and even gets a bath before pick up…Also the dogs are treated with love and not traumatized………Oakley “loves it”Oh the luau party he had a blast !!!!

Absolutely phenomenal service. The staff is amazing; attentive and friendly. A lifesaver in the day to day hustle and bustle, pup gets to socialize and play, comes home happy and healthy. But a definite godsend when in need of boarding. Exit bath highly recommended.

Our dog, Kiera, loves to play with her friends at this hounds town location. I like to believe they do care about the dogs they care for as I have no reason to believe otherwise. She is always excited to go inside when we drop her off. I don’t trust many people with her but we trust hounds town.

Ozzy loves houndstown!!! He just visited for boarding and is going back for Halloween parties!!! The staff is the best and ozzy is a handful so we appreciate that! He has blossomed in the socializing he has done there and now is a totally different dog. He loves houndstown

Wonderful experience! We have 2 puppies and we were going away for the holiday weekend. I called a week before and asked if they were available for boarding. Luckily they fit me in and our puppies had an amazing time. Staff is super friendly and answer any questions or worries you may have. From the photos you could tell they were having fun. Put our mind at easy leaving them there. So happy we found a place where our dogs can stay and be happy. Thank you again 😃

The staff was very thorough in letting us know what to expect when we board our pup. This location was easy to find, and were looking forward to utilize their services.

I thought everyone was really nice and professional. They answered all of my questions (which were a lot) and didn’t rush me. They provide all required services even can make arrangements for a pet taxi. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I thought the place could be a little cleaner/updated and have cameras inside of the dog rooms. They do post pictures on Facebook but there is nothing like seeing your dog play with others.

I’ve been taking my dog to Annie for two years now and she is so professional and by far the best groomer for my puppy who suffers from severe anxiety. I travel all the way from Queens to Deer Park so Annie can groom him and she is always so patient with him.

Weve taken our dog here on two occasions and each time she got sick. Do not recommend taking your dog here at all!!! We will never take her to another Hounds Town again.

Took my Yorkie for a grooming at hounds town for the first time. The people there were extremely nice, groomer did a great job and the place was clean, did not smell and that was very important to me.

Great place! I was nervous because I have a very active dog. He was exhausted when he came back. The place is very clean, the people are nice and answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. My dog came home exhausted but happy. I highly recommend.

I love this location! I’m not there very often but every time I go my boy is greeted and always remembered! The new owner is very nice and caring as well. The staff is so sweet and loving. They are always honest and def take great care of my Johnny.

While the staff is extremely nice and did their best to take care of my dog while at daycare there were things I failed to ask for lack of experience and they failed to tell me. Fully interactive means pack mentality type play (as described to me after the fact MMA type play) Your told your dog can get a scratch or a bump. In that type of environment it is not likely the case. My dog came home with 2 puncture wounds within 2 months. When I went to address the situation only then am I told that my dog plays extremely rough and exhibits behavior not condusive to this type of environment. I also learned after the fact that it isnt recommended that a dog play in this environment until they are neutered. Something I wasn’t told. Lastly make sure your dog is given a true assestment of his/her demeanor. My dogs assestment lasted less than 5 minutes. So as a newer location I felt that wanted my dog as a client and didn’t really take the time to explain to me the process. So beware before you send your dog to this location.

Excellent care for my German Shepherd, very punctual, my dog loves to go there, I boarded him several times, lots of love and care for him.

Although I appreciate the discounts applied to my pups stay, I paid more for 9 nights this year under the new ownership than I did for 12 nights last year under previous ownership. Despite the unprecedented times were going through, there was an increase of $22 per pup this year as compared to December 2019.

I send my 5 1/2 month old boxer puppy Charlie. He loves going. He comes home exhausted from all the fun he has. He definitely gets into less mischief on days he goes 🐾

Our boys were here for 10 days- we left 2 messages and spoke with worker day of pickup, letting them know what time we’d be there so boys would be bathed dry and ready. Boys were not ready- not bathed either ( this is the second time)- the filth and stench was horrendous. Jameson has sores on his front legs. Worse than that, both lost an alarming amount of weight. They should be ashamed of themselves. Patrons beware!

We got our dog back a day early after a trip, I believe they clean everything the last day before you get your dog back, because he was dirty and smelly, and his bed was to the point that we didn’t take it home. Take this advice as you will.

Tucker can’t wait to get to Hounds Town. He jumps out of the car and waits until we open the door. When he comes he is so tired from the fun he had.

I was given incorrect information about pricing. I boarded two dogs and neither received exit bath- before boarding & during drop off I was asked THREE separate times if I wanted exit baths to which I said yes.

I love hound town Commack rd and so does my dog! The staff is amazing and they are the only boarding facility I trust leaving my dog with.

They are efficient, kind and responsible. I never doubt how my animal will be when I pick him up. And they post pictures of all the dogs all day.

I love that I can go on Facebook and see pictures of my dogs throughout the day. They looked like they had a blast. Thank u again. They were knocked out when they got home.

This place it great. Everyday there were tons of photos on Facebook and I was watching my dog socialize and have a ball. Honestly I felt a little bad picking her up. Lol.
