DO NOT BRING YOUR DOGS HERE unless you want them to be mistreated the same way a dog owner would...We used this service twice, and both times, after picking up a dog, he was scratching himself quite a lot, which led us to believe that the shampoo used was not appropriate for him. We forgot to mention this to the owner of the shop last time, and ended up with the same story/issue. Weve taken him to the vet to see if he has any allergies and requires meds, a vet confirmed that he has no genetic problems, and we need to ask his grooming place to use a different shampoo. I just reached out to the owner over the text , since our appointment is tomorrow, and he got bent out of shape about this simple question, like I am asking him to invent a new formula. He said he is cancelling my appointment as he does not have time to deal with the shampoo issues. When I asked not to cancel anything, just let me know if a different shampoo can be used, he said that he believes it is not a shampoo(I guess he knows more than a Vet) and hung up the phone on me.IT IS BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNACCEPTABLE AND NON CUSTOMER CENTRIC.!I highly recommend to ignore this place and find a different place to give your money to...not worth an aggravation

Perry is NOT a nice groomer, if he yells at his customers can you imagine what hes doing TO YOUR POOR DOG. I’ve witnessed him throw tantrums and be abusive. He has anger issues and is the worst person to trust with your animals. Your dogs dont deserve that!
Most arrogant groomer I ever met. Every time I brought my dog there, I had a pit in my stomach. Its unfortunate because he does nice grooming, however, I got to a point where I couldnt take his arrogance or negativity. Don’t disagree with him or make a request or he will yell at you. Very happy now with my current groomer who is pleasant and does a wonderful job.
I have been taking my two pups to Perry’s for 4+ years; never put mind to Perry’s rudeness as I only cared about my pups being well groomed and handled properly. I had to stop going for a few months (since April) due to changes in our routine. Yesterday I called to make an appointment for my pups since we really liked the way Perry groomed. I was informed we no longer were considered old clients and no appointments would be provided. We were also told we should continue going to the same place we had been going to since last going to Perry.Sadly being customers for over 4 years meant nothing to Perry. I really didn’t think I had to explain or defend my reasons for not going since April. On the other hand, as a shop owner wanting to build my clientele, I would have been flattered to have customers want to return.Assuming we had been visiting another shop is clearly unprofessional and rude. We always knew Perry lacked customer service skills and respect for his customers but despite this we never held that against him - simply ignored it and took nothing personal.Dog owners beware - the reviews from others are true.Perry, it’s extremely disappointing to have been with your shop for years and be treated this way. You should seriously consider improving your customer service skills and appreciate your customers more. There’s plenty of companies that offer workshops on customer service. Definitely consider taking some anger management classes as well. Learn to not belittle people or lash out over small things. This behavior of yours will ruin your business.
While waiting at the front desk to pick up my dog I witnessed one of Perrys groomers handling a dog that was getting groomed in a manner that seemed awkward to me. Of course I dont know what it takes to groom a dog and it must call for some patience but I then noticed the groomer grab the dog extremely forcefully by the neck. Trust me that what I witnessed was not cool!To make matters worse I ask to speak to Perry privately in the waiting area so I can advise him of what I saw. Perry comes out didnt even give me a chance to explain properly of what I saw. He immediately started yelling at me saying, How dare you tell me about my employees, all my employees are hard working good workers! I was completely stunned by the way he turned this on me. While I was trying to make my point he got louder and started screaming, take your dog and get out of my store, don’t ever come back. He picks up the phone and threatens to call the police by saying that I was harassing him. Unbelievable!!Why would I make this up!! I simply wanted to make Perry aware of what I saw then you take it out on me Bad way to run your business sir! You have no patience and poor customer service!! This incident happened at 3:45 pm Wed Dec 11 - Go to your in house video tape and you’ll see what I saw Perry!!
9/21/16 just a few minutes after my original post below:UPDATE - And as if it couldnt get worse, Perry saw this review and two minutes later decided to call me and say the following its a shame you accused me of cutting your dog, its a shame you wrote that nasty yelp review, its a shame you burned this bridge....good luck with your nasty dog and hung up. Is this man for real??? I just made an appointment with the vet and if it turns out to be a different issue, then I will take down my review. But I have a feeling the vet will confirm my suspicion. All I can do is laugh at your ridiculousness because if I dont laugh then Ill cry. Not only did you hurt my dog by accident but now youre hurting me on purpose. Lucky for me, I believe in karma. :)9/21/16 - Never thought Id say this but Perry is the most UNPROFESSIONAL pet groomer in the business. He has ZERO compassion and will not take accountability for his mistakes. Ive been bringing my dog to him for about a year and Im always happy with his work. The last time I brought him in, however, changed everything. He cut my dog in two places on his chest. I called the salon to speak with him about it (calmly) and you could hear him in the background yelling and screaming that he didnt do it. He finally got on the phone, told me to take my dog to the vet and prove that they were cuts from the groomer and then HUNG UP the phone before I could say a word.By the way, I wasnt even accusing him of cutting my dog. I was simply asking them what happened because I was surprised they didnt bring it to my attention.Never in my life have I experienced such terrible customer service. He did a terrible job and HURT my dog, refuses to take responsibility for his actions and yells at his PAYING customers? All I can do is hope that it doesnt happen again....but something tells me its not the last time. Youve been warned!
