K 910 Grooming and Training

Very disappointed with my experiences with this groomer. The first appointment I made for both of my small dogs. When I arrived at 12:10 pm, she (Kirsten) said she would only have time to groom one dog as she had another appointment at 2:30. I left my male dog to be groomed. She messaged me at 1:30 that he was ready. When I picked him up she was just hanging out… which lead me to believe she would’ve had time to groom my female (who is easier to groom) also. My male seemed well groomed so I made a second appointment for two weeks later for my female. When I took my female in, again, it only took an hour or less, but her cut was poor… very choppy and uneven. I know everyone can have a bad day, so I decided to give her one more chance and booked a third appointment. When I arrived today with both of my dogs, I brought the first dog in and she was grooming another dog in the back, but we were easily within eyesight and earshot of each other. I spent over 10 minutes waiting and trying to get her attention to let her know that I was there… calling out “hello” loudly repeatedly and waving my hand. I got no acknowledgement or response from her. Finally when I was just about to leave, she looked up at me. She said, “oh, I had my earbuds in”. Ok, I thought, but shouldn’t you be keeping an eye on the door / waiting room area when you know a customer is coming in? While I was waiting for her to acknowledge me I was looking around the place and I saw that it was extremely dirty and it didn’t look sanitary at all. I didn’t feel it was fair to cancel at that point, so I dropped both of my dogs off and by the time I left it was 1:15 pm. She messaged me at 2:34 pm and said they were all set. I arrived to pick them up and she let them run out into the waiting room to me and handed me their harnesses and leashes. (Prior groomers have always had them ready with harnesses and leashes on.) I was kneeling down to put the harness on my male when she told me that she hadn’t trimmed his nails because he tried to bite her. I said, well no other groomer has complained about that to me. She said that his prior groomer told her that she had to muzzle him. I said, well, that’s fine with me, muzzle him then. She said that she doesn’t do that. I asked if she was going to take anything off the bill because she didn’t trim his nails and she said no. I said I would like his nails trimmed then, because he really needs it, and I agreed to hold him while she did it. It took no time at all. I paid her and left. When I got home, I got a better look at my male, and I realized she had barely cut / trimmed his fur at all. She never trimmed his chest, only an uneven “landing strip” on his belly, no trim of his legs, an uneven trim of his tail, eyebrows, and beard. Based on these three experiences, I cannot recommend this groomer at all.

I have a very needy 9 year old German Shepherd. As my groomer is moving, she recommended K9/10 to me. I called over there to get my dogs nails trimmed. My dog is very anxious, so the gal that owns the place came out to my SUV, and jumped in the back with my dog and did her nails! This took away hers and mine anxiety! I highly recommend K9/10 Grooming!!!!

She did a great job the first time, the second was ok but the dog had a problem with his butt for 2 weeks. The third time she shaved him and took a huge patch of skin off his belly and she didnt say a word, didnt give him a bath or cut his nails.

Horrible experience. Freaked out my puppy mill rescue by meeting us at the door with an off leash Great Dane puppy then proceeded to drag my dog across the floor by her leash. Sent my other dog home half done because he snapped at her. Demanded full payment and neither dog was done. Beware!!

Today was our first visit and we are over the moon. We dropped off our ‘hot mess’ Yorkie and brought home a beautiful boy. They even managed to eliminate the ‘bad toupee’ look around the nape of his neck which has been an issue FOREVER! Thank you!!!

Kirsten does a wonderful job trimming nails for dogs and cats at half the cost of other places. She is friendly and accommodating - makes house calls if needed !! I highly recommend her services.

She is very good. My dogs just love her. I would recommend her without a doubt. I trust her very much.

Cares about the wellbeing and comfort of the dog above all else, which is exactly what a groomer should do.
