Joanie is the best. !! She loves dogs. They all love pets. When I dropped off my stinky girl She came home sparkling clean. They could of made another dog from her shedded fur, and she smelled great. The also gave her a pretty bandana.And she shows off her bandana!Easy to make an appointment.I was very pleased with the service and it wasnt $.

This place is cool, they do a good job but there’s this old lady in the store which I assume is the one running the place, couldn’t even tell me how much a wash and haircut was gonna be. She told me “I don’t know, it’s just a wash and trim”. I also asked her how long would it take and she told me again that she doesn’t know with a attitude. I been here a couple times and last time I went there, she told me the same thing, that she doesn’t know how long it would take with a lot of attitude. I let it slid the first time cause we all have bad days but second time now. I asked a simple question and she started saying I was rushing her and if I’m in a rush to leave without any work done and I had a appointment. The rest of the workers are very nice and welcoming but that old lady gotta go cuz she tweakin.

I just wish there was a smile when we enter or a feeling that theyre grateful for our business..but the cut is good. I heard several people review same.

The worst ever. Owner very rude n nasty with a bad attitude..Had appt this morning for 9a dropped my dog off at 9a. Called 1p n then again @ 2p dog still not groomed. Told owner that I was annoyed, we had words n she hung up on me. Of course, now I’m going to get my dog @ HOLLYWOOF. owner just started working on my dog 5 hours later. I asked her why she hung up on me which she says bc I was yelling at her. The owner is very nasty n needs to take a course on how to be polite n how to deal with people which apparently, she does not know how to do . Now she tells me, she’s not going to finish the grooming on my dog n to leave which I did n never to return

I really don’t know what to say. I really loved this place until today. I even recommended them to other people, but today I was dropping off my dog and was told I didn’t have an appointment which I did. Wasn’t even greeted kindly and told that my dog hurt her arm last time he was there. The strange thing is no one said this to us last time he was groomed. We were told he was a good boy. So after she proceeds to complain about we are not on her schedule and her arm hurt for 4 days I took my poochi and business elsewhere. Very upsetting.

Very professional staff. I was so pleased with this grooming experience. Took my 3 dogs for grooming and was very pleased with the outcome. Every hair was cut evenly with no chop looking areas. Best grooming in a long time.

I had the best experience today. I brought my 9.5 year old Puggle to get groomed today. I called up this morning and explained that my dog has only had 1 groomer. His groomer passed suddenly and I havent brought him to a new one yet.Today he went to Hollywoof and it was amazing. From the minute I walked in they were very friendly and so welcoming. I picked him up and they said that he was great. I was so relieved and so happy to hear. I found my new groomer and I couldnt be happier. Thank you Hollywoof 😊

To be honest when this groomer was located in Baldwin I never had any issues with them. But then they moved to Freeport and the owner started being rude and nasty. She would get angry because I did not bring my two dogs in frequently and even though I payed them a lot of money to groom my two dogs the owner was rude and nasty to me. Last time I brought them in she said that one of my dogs had a tumor on his butt and she was just so nasty about it. I will NEVER EVER go back to them again. I now found a new groomer who are SUPER nice and have wonderful customer service skills and doesnt yell at me every time I bring my dogs in for grooming. This place is good but the owner messed it all up with her DISGUSTING attitude.

My dog still smells. She was groomed yesterday and she doesn’t even smell clean. I have a bulldog and they didn’t even clean her tail. It’s one of the most important parts which I repeatedly emphasized. This place doesn’t know what they’re doing. Take your pet somewhere else.

Terrible! The owner is rude and nasty. I walked in and heard them screaming at my dog because she had an accident. Then they proceeded to ask me did I walk my dog before I came as if the accident happened because I didn’t walk her. Meanwhile, they had my dog there for 6 hours, what the hell do you think would happen after that much time. She can’t walk herself. I believe my dog was nervous. I will NEVER bring her back there again! I also hate that her hair cut seemed to be rushed. There are areas where she is longer in some places than others. They made her look ridiculous. I also hated that they never called me to get her so I showed up because too much time passed. I will also be writing the BBB. Then I read another review and instead of apologizing to the person you complain that her dog hurt your arm and you need surgery as a result. Gtfoh. You are ridiculous!!!!!

Second time, arrival at 930am, called at 320pm for pick up just to be told they made a mistake, what a disappointment, miniature schnauzer and they took off the skirt

What can i say about this place ! First off the ladies that work here are so wonderful, kind and will answer any questions you have . My dog Echo came out looking beautiful as ever . I had a bad experience with Sugar ELSEWHERE! Hollywoof SAVED the day!!! Sugar looked FABULOUS!. She didnt even want to take off her scarf at bedtime! Caught a whole attitude with me! That spoke VOLUMES as to how my SUGAR BRIELLE felt about her experience and how she felt and looked! SO IMPRESSED WITH HOLLYWOOF GROOMING SALON!!! ITS A 10!!!!

We had an appointment this morning to get the the cats nails trimmed. The place opens at 9 and we were MAYBE 3 minutes early. A woman (Im assuming the owner) came to the door and said you know we open at 9.I told her that we had an appointment and she let us in, but she had such an attitude. Another groomer (who was very pleasant) was already working on a dog.Is 3 minutes early really that big of a deal?We just didnt get a welcoming feeling from this place.Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are plenty of groomers including Petco who would love to have your business.

The best place to get your pet groomed. Cookie has been coming here for years since she was a baby and always comes out amazing. The groomers are the best! I am a loyal customer for life! 10 stars**

First time visiting them, they did an amazing job and Pete was very handsome!

I had an appointment at 12 pm but dropped off my puppy a half hour early. I called at 2pm and was told that my puppy was still not finished being groomed. I proceeded to go into the store to pick him up because I had things to do outside of the island and they tried to charge me $35 dollars for “showering” him and had a really bad attitude. I told refused to pay the $35 dollars for something I could’ve very well do myself at home. Upset that he already had not been started on since 11:30am, I decided to leave him to be finished. Finally at 4 pm I was called to pick him up to find his hair cut unevened, his ears not cleaned, and he was locked in a covered cage. I’m highly disappointed with the service and grooming of my puppy and will not be using this place ever again.
