Hounds Town Garden City

Hounds Town is one of the best places to bring your dog for boarding or day care. They treated my boy Hobi (brown/white Beagle) like family while I was away for a week. Hobi looked so happy with the other dogs, and I know he was given lots of love while my family and I were away. There was an outbreak of Kennel Cough when he was there, but he was already vaccinated and caught a minor case of it. Overall, I love Hounds Town and I will definitely come again when I need to board Hobi or bring him to day care!

Our dog is considered one of the family so leaving him in a safe and trustworthy environment is of the utmost importance when go on vacation. Our dog (StanLee) is always excited to go to Hounds Town Garden City and the tell-tale sign he has a great time is he is exhausted when we pick him up. One nice personal touch that we get from Hounds Town Garden City is at they post pictures on their private Facebook page. We look forward to see him playing with his new canine friends. We typically see him playing and having a great time while burning some energy. However, we do see him up to some mischief with his hound friends (see the pictures below). We thoroughly enjoy the service we receive at Hounds Town Garden City and highly recommend them.

Great place that treats our four legged friends wonderful. They share photos of the dogs interacting with each other which lessens any stress about leaving them. I highly recommend them for day care or boarding.

Colleen, Lauren and the entire staff at Hounds Town do everything possible to make your dog feel at home, which allows families to have piece of mind when theyre away.The facility is bright, clean and nicely decorated. They separate the dogs during playtime by size and take so many great pics of them together. When youre part of their FB group, you can see the photos of your fur baby having fun, which always brings a smile to your face.You have the option for an exit bath or spa treatment, which is great after a stay with lots of play. When our pup turned 2, we couldnt believe Hounds Town put up a sign, balloons, gave him a birthday crown and took pictures. How special!!The staff loves dogs and its evident the minute you walk in the door and they see your fur baby. They are responsive, answer all of your questions and make you feel at ease.Many people in our town go to Hounds Town because of their incredible reputation.I highly recommended booking a stay or day care for your furry family friend! You can even schedule a 15 minute meet and greet prior to.

This was the best doggy day care ever!! My 10 month old puppy Lilo had the time of her life and was exhausted! Workers were so kind and caring about the dogs! She was there for 9 hours and got a little report card when I came to pick her up.

Our baby beagles love going to hounds town twice a week! We love that they rotate the doggies so they have someone new to play with every so often. They get to go outside to get fresh air and sunshine. They are very tolerant of me calling on lunch to ask about my babies. Lastly we LOVE that they post pictures of the pups everyday so we know that they have a great time.

I had to leave my dog with hounds town garden city for an extended time frame. The staff took such good care of my dog for the many weeks he was there. He came back to me beautiful and happy, Barney loves the staff at HTGC. The boarding and day care are great. The people that work there are kind and attentive. I will continue to bring my dog to them. I trust them with him very much. I did not have to worry at all about my dog while he was there, I knew he was in good hands! Best place .

Staff are very welcoming to you and your dog. You know he is in safe hands and will be looked after. Sincere and kind o your dogs needs and to the owner. They have a excellent knowledge of a dogs behavior, which helps so much.Bailey loves going to play and knows he is safe, I know this too.They are exceptional! Best Ever!

I don’t have enough great things to say about HTGC and the staff there! Our American Bulldog, Scott has been attending Hounds Town for the last few months for daycare and boarding and has truly found a safe and loving place to spend his time. Scott entered Hounds Town a SUPER anxious and shy pup and has flourished into a confident, happy, and social dog. No words can describe how sweet, supportive, and PATIENT the staff have been to our sweet Scott. They go above and beyond to accommodate all of his needs no matter how big or small the request. Not only did they provide him with a safe space, they provided him with SO much love as well! All the staff has been responsive and fantastic with communication as well whenever we are away!!

Had to leave the pooch for a weekend. He came back happy, healthy and waggin his tail. Thank you guys so much for taking care of my baby like he was your own. It brought me comfort to know they have an emergency vet contact in the event of an emergency. I would absolutely recommend hounds town garden city to my friends and family and without hesitation use them again for the next time we have to leave Napoleon behind. I would also recommend the end of stay bath he came out sparkling!!!!

Highly recommend Hounds Town for boarding for your pet. We used Hounds Town for a week for our sweet 4yo lab. They were transparent about their facility, showed me where Parker would be sleeping and assured me that if anything were to happen with Parker they would call me and either go to Bond Vet or VEG, which are great vets. The owner called me to give me an update on Parker while we were on vacation and I felt so at ease knowing she was somewhere that she was safe and having a lot of fun at. There is indoor and outdoor space and they uploaded photos of Parker and the other dogs everyday to their FB group. Will be using again!!!!

I love Hounds Town Garden City! They take excellent care of my pup. Maureen and the staff are the nicest, most caring people in the business! Do not hesitate to leave your pets here. We boarded our pups there for the first time in the beginning of October. From the meet and greet to their stay, it was a positive experience all around. They sent pics of our pups throughout the trip, and each time I called to check on them, I never felt like a bother. The staff at Hounds Town were all very pleasant and made us feel very comfortable leaving them there. We will definitely be using them for regular boarding of our pups! Thanks Hounds Town!

Hounds Town is amazing. They always take such good care of the dogs. My dog goes there for daycare and he always comes home happy and exhausted. Thank you HTGC! Ohhh and the best part is you can join their facebook group and they post pictures of the dogs so you can see your babies play!

HoundsTown Garden City is awesome they take wonderful care of the pets my doggies was happy. I got to see pictures of her and when I called to ask about her they were understanding and caring.. The staff is wonderful Thank you for all the wonderful work you all do to keep our pets safe and loved while we are away. She’s tired guess from all the excitement she had.

Tsuki was happily tired after his first visit to Hounds Town. They gave us a score card that gave us some ideas of how he behaved and who did he played with, which is quite helpful. We will go back soon.5/14/2023Tsuki had a wonderful time a couple of days ago and to our surprise, Hounds Town celebrated his 3rd birthday and look at this happy boy!!!

Our dog has so much fun playing with all the other dogs! Endless play dates and staff who really care make Houndstown the best!

So happy I found Houndstown!! I love that they post picture of the dogs during the day and they are always having a blast! I feel comfortable leaving my dog there while I go on vacation and I know he is in safe hands and having fun.The staff is very kind and caring.

We sent both of our girls (Jack Russell and Mini- Labradoodle) for an extended stay at Hounds Town Garden City. From the moment we went in for an evaluation, we knew we had made the right decision. Colleen and her staff gave us a detailed explanation of what a daily day at Hounds Town was like. The dogs are grouped appropriately and under great supervision. We received constant daily updates when we were away with pictures and updates via the Facebook group. The staff could not have been friendlier on drop off and pickup and were very receptive and knowledgeable when had questions. Our dogs both were knocked out the first night they were home. We highly recommend HTGC and will schedule daycare and extended stays again with them in the future.

My Daisy has been going to Hounds Town for over a year. She is a handful, lots of energy. She gets plenty of attention and love at Hounds town. She is excited to go every week. Everyone is genuinely a dog lover. They are attentive and caring. The dogs have a chance to interact with other dogs and get outdoors. Its a great doggy space.

What a wonderful place for dogs. Staff was engaging and very aware of what was going on around them. Calvin and Hobbes gives it 4 paws up.

Hounds Town is the Place to be!!!! My dogs Tallulah (12) and Brixton(8) had an awesome time. They came home with amazing report cards, as well as with big happy smiles and were exhausted;. Id call that a success.The staff at the Garden City, NY location was fun, friendly and fabulous. The time they put into meeting both you and your dog/s is comforting and top notch. My furry babies were placed with other dogs that best suited their energy levels and temperament.Hounds Town was highly recommended by a friend and now Im highly recommending it to you all. . We give them 5 paws ... whoops I mean 5 stars!

If only I could give this facility a ZER0!!Since the time Ive been bringing my dog to hounds town garden city, he has gotten sick EVERY single time he been there, even when I have brought his own personal bowl. Not only is this a problem but there is no live feed to see how your fur baby is doing throughout the day. There is no report of how their day was, like how other normal daycares would give that extra quality that your dog matters and theyre not just other animal. Also, I immediately noticed the facility had a TERRIBLE odor. I have brought it up to staff before but it has never gotten better. Definitely dont recommend brining your fur baby here and look elsewhere and get better quality for a couplebucks more.

Love this place! Staff is awesome and know every fur baby walking through the door whether theyre daily regulars or occasional drop-ins.

We are upstate New Yorkers who were traveling to Florida for a few days out of JFK Airport. We found this Hounds Town facility through a Google search and the location worked really well for us to drop our dog off on the way to the airport. While its not right next to LaGuardia or JFK, the 10 min diversion was worth it!Google maps directed us right to the facility, and while its not right on the street, its easy to spot once youre there. We arrived on the tail end of Presidents Day week. They were rather busy with checkouts, but despite that they were very accommodating to see to our check in with only a couple minute wait. They gave us their card, Facebook info and we were able to see pics of our dog having a party while we were away. We pinged the facility to see how our dog was doing (this is our first dog and first time boarding so we were quite the nervous parents). They responded quickly saying how great he was doing, which helped put our minds at ease on top of seeing the pictures on Facebook.When we arrived to pick him up, they showed us the type of apartment he stayed in and where he played. I can honestly say that he must have had a great time because hes been sleeping on and off for almost 2 days now!Were so grateful for Hounds Town Garden City for giving us a tremendous first boarding experience at this. I can see that they run a tight ship there and are well organized. We will be most certainly board our dog there again for each and every trip out of the NY airports, and day camp him should we find ourselves in the Long Island area for any function or event in the future!

My two dogs love going to daycare and being boarded at HT. They are always excited to see friends when I drop them off and are happily exhausted when I bring them back home. I never worry about them at all while they are there.They had exit baths the last time after being boarded, and they came home all fluffed up and smelling great!Thanks, Colleen and the HT staff for giving me peace of mind when I travel and for taking such great care of my pups!

We took our 1 year Pitty Puppy to Hounds Town for a trial appointment and were instantly at ease with the support, knowledge, and kindness of the staff! Our pup Pip was nervous and the staff ensured a perfect dog friend to put our pup at ease while safely testing our little guys temperament. We’re so excited to go back to hounds town for daycare and boarding pip!

Colleen and all of the staff at Houndstown are incredible! I always feel like my pup, Molly is in excellent hands. The staff is so caring and really loves the dogs. Houndstown creates fun events for the dogs for holdiays, etc. They wil take pix of your baby....which is so nice to have. I highly recommend Houndstown in Garden City. You wont be disappointed!!!

By far the most responsible and honest place. Let me start by saying that Colleen is the sweetest, caring and loves these animals like they were hers. My pup is small, about 7 lbs. he is little so I worry about what kind of dogs he plays with. I was sent pictures and updates. I was able to relax on vacation instead of worrying about my pup. I recommend this place hands down. Truly the best!

I have received services from different locations of HT. I believe that the Garden City HT has more responsible, consistent and dog savvy employees. It is a pleasure to see that is a family run business. My fur babies enjoy coming to HT GC. Thank you for opening your doors and hearts to Theo and Khloe.

The people at Hounds Town, Garden City are very sweet, friendly and accommodating, AND they love dogs😍 You can text to inquire about your dog, and they get back to you with pictures. My little dog was there for 6 days (5 nights), and when I picked him up after the spa bath that I requested, he was clean and fresh, and smelled wonderful! He was happy to see me, and from what I was told, he did very well eating, playing and making new friends🥰 He didn’t have a scratch on him, has been a little tired today after all that fun, and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring him back to Hounds Town, Garden City🤩

It was the longest time spent away from our Riley. Actually the first time. But all was well!! Seeing him with his new friends on Facebook was great. The staff was very good at what they do. I highly recommend them. Riley came home tired and happy!!

This place is by far the best boarding place ever. We had a tough situation on our family where we were displaced from our home. They took our puppy with open arms for 17 days with no stress on us of upfront payment. Since then he has visited there a ton of times and we cannot thank the staff enough for taking care of our boy. They are constantly almost fully booked and that alone is a sign that this place is truly amazing.

Hounds Town is great, our dog loves going there - they take very good care of him and he enjoys it immensely!

Having made the decision to board my two cats versus having someone to come in take care of them for a long weekend was extremely difficult and stressful. This was not the first time they were separated from me but it was the first time they would not be with my sister who normally took them into her home. From the minute Maureen smiled at me and greeted us I knew I made the right decision. Now if you ask Oliver or Lola they may disagree because well, they’re entitled and high maintenance but I hear that they even warmed up quicker than I would’ve thought tbh. But how could they not? They were fawned over, taken cared of and loved by a staff of amazing humans! Hounds Town Garden City is warm, caring, clean and just plain awesome in so many ways. I was able to be in daily contact via text and calls and yes, I’m totally guilty of being a helicopter mom, but Maureen and her team never let me feel that they thought for a second of how annoying I was to them even though I know I was! Was it a nerve wracking decision? Totally. Was it the best decision and worth it? Absolutely. There is no price for peace of mind and that is what you will have entrusting your baby or babies to Hounds Town Garden City!

I cant say enough good things about Hounds Town. My puppy has only been going a few weeks and its his absolute favorite. The employees are so sweet and really love animals. Im grateful they were confident to take on my dog as he is not yet neutered and a large breed. They pair him up with other good dogs and he has so much fun playing all day (he comes home nice and tired!). If youre looking for excellent dog care, call now!

Our fur-baby always loves his time at Houndstown! We make sure to say good-bye to him before we enter because once we get in, he runs towards the playroom and doesnt look back! The staff greet him by name and are always patient and friendly. We miss him when were on vacation but we never worry - we know he is in good hands.

Words cannot describe how great this place is! Previously, we had always gone with in-home dog sitters. Specifically a person who watches dogs in her home. Never had a good feeling and she ended up losing our dog! It was so upsetting, receiving a call from a stranger while on the second day of our vacation, saying they found your dog on the side of Sunrise Highway a mile from the persons home. After this incident, I REALLY did my research and brought my dog to Hounds Town. Such peace of mind, knowing he was well taken care of and safe. Great staff!

We have boarded our beloved dog here several times. Charlie remembers this place and is happy to be dropped off . The staff are super nice, friendly and pleasant. I recommend this place since the care and interaction with our dog has been consistently favorable.

My pup and I LOVE Hounds Town Garden City. Doggie goes there a few days a week while I am at work. He cant get in the door fast enough. The facility is well managed, there are always enough staff, the dogs get attention and love. I particularly appreciate when they flag that my dog is due for a vaccine (kennel cough required every 6 months). The fact that they stay on top of this administratively is impressive. It helps keep everyone as healthy as possible. I am very happy with the service.

We love it here! I have a 10 month old husky and I wanted to start creating a more intensive/enriching schedule than just her daily walks and she absolutely loves it. We’ve been going for a couple of weeks and after the second visit she already knew when we were approaching the building and starts excitedly wiggling in her seat! She’s becoming well acquainted with the staff and comes home exhausted from playing all day. The staff is so friendly and very knowledgeable about dog behavior and how to ensure everyone has fun and stays safe. Would definitely recommend to other high energy dog parents! :)

Never had to board my 2 rescue dogs before so the whole idea was very anxiety provoking. We were going away for a family cruise for 7 days so I couldnt imagine how they would fare in a totally new environment. I was assured that they would be well taken care of, and they were! They came home happy and lively! Will definitely use Hounds Town Garden City next time I need overnight boarding!

My dog was diagnosed with an inoperable cancer but still has quality of life. Every morning when I take her to Hounds Town she is excited to go in and she seems to love all the people working there. I definitely recommend them

I would 10/10 recommend going to Hounds Town in Garden City! I recently boarded my dogs there and I get very nervous but the staff makes you feel so comfortable leaving your dogs with them! I love how the dogs get to play and interact with others all day while they are staying there (many boarding places either dont offer that or they make u pay extra for daycare). They are all so nice and they are very responsive. Whenever I would call them just to check up on my dogs they knew exactly who my dogs were and how they were doing. They make you feel like they are actually spending time with your dogs, not just putting them in a room and not paying attention to them. The staff is so nice and comforting and I feel safe leaving my dogs with them!

Just picked up my fur baby. ❤️ While away ….they communicate with you about your fur babies by sending pictures and texts so you never need to worry. They offer great prices and packages. BEST around. Maureen and staff are very friendly and loving. This will be my go-to place😉!!! And they send them home after they bath them!!

My dog Jax has been going to Houndstown Garden City since he was a pup. Over 1 year. He is my boy and his happiness, health and safety is paramount! So, he has to be taken care of by my standards. The staff at Houndstown exceeds my expectations. They are AMAZING! They love and care for Jax and he loves them back. Every time I take him he cries with excitement. They treat him as if he were their own! He gets so much love and attention. I go to work knowing he is in the best of care. I get him groomed there and bathed. They do it all. And their prices are so reasonable! I would pay double for what they do for him! Houndstown is the only place for Jax! If you love your dog as much as I do, it should be your place too! Sal T

My pup gets so excited when he knows he is going to Hounds Town. He jumps out of the car and drags me all the way to the door every time I bring him in. He absolutely loves his days playing with his friends.

Our dog absolutely loves her days at Hounds Town! The staff is so friendly, and you can tell they genuinely love spending time with the animals. My dog eagerly pulls me towards the building every time we pull in the parking lot. 100% recommend!

After a couple of times at daycare I felt comfortable leaving my dog there went I went on vacation, the first time he spent the night not with family members. I don’t think I could even put into words how much I love Hounds Town Garden City! I’m from out of town & my dog is a rescue that is a little weary about people & places but she immediately warmed up to the entire staff here. You can tell right away how much everyone on the team loves & cares for the dogs. They post daily updates & pictures of the dogs & it’s always so fun to see all the dogs playing with each other!Highly highly recommend checking this place out if you need a doggy sitter/daycare. We love Hounds town!!! And so does our Lola. Everytime we tell her its a Hounds town day she gets super excited!The garden city location is like a family. They know our Lola right when she walks in. Everyone is always so friendly and you can tell they really love the dogs. And Im always so amazed how they know every dog even without their collars on. The owner really runs a great business and all services are amazing.

Hound Town of Garden City is a warm and caring, happy place! My dog loves being there as he is always so happy when I pick him up and usually falls asleep pretty quickly afterwards. My dog goes to the day care a few times per week and has been boarded here. The staff is always so professional, caring, and attentive. They love their job and it shows! I am so grateful to have Hounds Town close by.

I left my baby girl Julie for 4 nights. From the time, I registered her at Hounds Town Garden City, I felt welcomed. Everyone was pleasant. During her stay, several pictures of her were posted especially by Sarah. She was so tired when we took her home! She looks so happy when we picked her up! Great job guys! Our first experience at not one but two different boarding places were so different where she was left in her kennel most of the days and looked so sad when we picked her up! What a HUGE difference! Thank you so much guys! You rock!

My dog absolutely loves Hounds Towns!! She can be timid around new people and dogs but she sprints in every morning for daycare. I never wonder if she’s having fun or being taken care of when she’s there.

We love Hounds Town!! They are always very quick to respond via email, and are very reliable. We have been going to daycare when needed since our dog was fully vaccinated, the first day she was scared and weary but ever since then she has figured out the ropes and comes home exhausted and smelly! We also tried out their boarding recently and were glad to know she was in great hands.

I knew my mini poodle Bijoux needed buddies to play with so I researched and found Hounds Town in Garden City. She comes home happy, thirsty and exhausted. They have a nice group of dogs and she gets excited as soon as we drive into the parking lot.Today was our second time there. I think I found a great place for my pup to burn off energy! The girls that look after the dogs are really nice also.

The best play dates for your dogs!!! They are cared for and have the most amazing time. When I pull into the parking lot my Shayna starts going crazy. She knows she is going to have the best time. They play safely and hard. Another perk is they can bathe them before you take them Home. They love each and every one of the dogs like it is their own. They also have over night boarding. So nice to know when you are away that you fur baby is being so well taken care of!! I highly recommend Houndstown!! 5 stars!!!

Our Chocolate Lab, Lacey loves going to Hounds Town! The Spa is great-they even cut her nails. Lacey has had overnight visits and has always been happy. Do not hesitate to bring your special pup to an amazing staff and super happy place!!!

I was hesitant sending my dog to daycare because he had just got to New York the week prior, but he had soooo much fun here and has been back many times since! The people who work here are so incredibly sweet, and they take such good care of your dog. They really get to know them, and are very attentive. They’re also very good about giving you updates and letting you know if they felt like your dog has some unusual behavior (like not eating all of his food for example). Every time I called for a check in, they always had an update or called me back with one immediately. They even do little puppy report cards to say how your dog’s day was! (So cute!)My dog also had a great experience with grooming here. They’re the best groomer I’ve found in Queens or Long Island. They did such a good job beveling/smoothing out his nails too! The end of day bath after daycare is such a nice touch too so he comes home clean and smelling good.Bottom line: I know that I can trust them with my dog, and I appreciate that they accommodate any special requests or diets. I really am so glad I found them for daycare, boarding, and grooming. I highly recommend!

I can’t say enough great things about Hounds Town Garden City! My 6 month old puppy Holly goes there 3-5 days a week and since day 1 they have taken great care of her. She comes home happy every day! The team that works there are all so nice and welcoming and make you feel comfortable leaving your puppy. I highly recommend!

My dog, Tanner, is scheduled to visit Hounds Town for his first stay next week, and I look forward to going there in the future. I am sure he will be very successful in his stay there.

My Hazel was in such good hands at this Houndstown Establishment. I felt comfortable and not worried leaving her there while we went away. I got updates to ensure she was doing fine.When I picked up my Golden Retriever Hazel she was happy to see us, but she was in perfect condition and I think she had a mini vacation from us while she was there. I recommend Houndstown to all my family and friends who love their dogs just as much as I do.

So glad we found hounds town for my pups daycare! We tried it for the first time new years eve day and picked up a tired, happy pup. The people could not be any nicer and I feel very comfortable knowing she is safe and happy there. Great place.

We tried Hounds Town for the first time for our dog Lucilla. She’s six years old and we never really leave her because she’s an anxious dog and feel guilty. After just a few hours we knew she was having a good time. They sent us pictures and we were relieved to know she warmed up right away. That gave us peace of mind. When it was time to pick her up and go home, she did not want to leave. She had to be physically carried out of the playroom. That’s definitely a good sign she was well taken care of. Lucilla will be going back to Hounds Town very soon!

I had to leave my dog with hounds town garden city for 9 days. I could tell my dog had a great time there because he looked sad and didnt want to leave his buddies. Very thankful for the boarding part.However the grooming part was rather DISAPPOINTING. I asked my dog to be groomed after such a long stay and contacted the front desk before I went to pick him up. When I arrived there, my dog looked clean but smelled terrible like he was bathed without any dog shampoo at all. Still full of dog boarding facility smell AND he was still WET for a good portion of his body part especially his butt and chest area. I had to give him another proper bath after arriving home after a looong trip.Overall, Id recommend boarding with HTGC but probably not grooming. Just my personal experience....

I was suggested to check out Hounds Town from a LI facebook group and Im so glad that I found them! My pup has been experiencing some pretty bad separation and social anxiety because of the pandemic and I needed somewhere he could spend the day and socialize, as well as decrease his separation anxiety. The girls at Hounds Town are always so friendly and responsive! Theyre so gentle with Onyx and I love the fact that the facility is so well organized and has different groups based off of size/weight - especially since my pup is only 6lbs! I cant sing enough praises for Hounds Town and if youre looking for a great place for doggy day care or boarding, I would definitely check them out!

11/2022. Just used Houndstown Garden City for the first time for my two pups for a two night stay. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, my pups did great, came back happy and clean after a recommended bath. Will be using them again in January without hesitation.

We cannot say enough amazing things about Hounds Town in Garden City!!! First off, our pup LOVES his time spent there whether its just a day of fun or a pupcation. When we pull up, we never see him more excited than when he realizes he is there!! He always comes home so happy from his day of fun/play! Second, the staff at Hounds Town is just absolutely wonderful. Everyone is knowledgable, professional loving and caring towards our pup, and SO hard working. Everyone at Hounds Town has always made us feel extremely secure in leaving our pup, we always know he is in the best possible hands! I cannot recommend Houndstown enough whether it be for daycare so your pup can play, or for boarding. I will never use anyone else. Thank you to everyone at Hounds Town for taking such wonderful care of our pup!

Hounds Town was highly recommended by a friend. I am very happy with how happy my pup appeared in all the pictures posted on Facebook! I had a bad boarding experience at another facility in the past but my pup came home from Hounds Town very happy and herself! I would highly recommend Hounds Town for day care or boarding!

Our small dog loves going to play at Houndstown. He is so excited when we pull into the parking lot. At the end of the day he is always ready to come home and crash. He gets lots of activity and excitement.I really appreciate that they send reminders for upcoming vaccines, so that we have time to make an appointment with our vet.The staff is very sweet and friendly, and they’re always so happy to see all the dogs.

I cannot praise Hounds Town Garden City enough! It is Disney World for dogs!I have been bringing my dog to Hounds Town Garden City for daycare since June 2019. I have also boarded him there several times. Hounds Town Garden City is his home away from home! It is his happy place and his second family. I cannot describe the happiness and excitement he displays when I tell him we are going to see his friends and play at Hounds Town.Hounds Town provides dogs with a safe, loving, happy, and positive environment where they are able to engage in play with one another. The owners and entire staff (or as I call them the HT family) are friendly, helpful, and loving. It is evident how much they love each dog. They are so unbelievably amazing especially during this pandemic. They have gone above and beyond specifically when I have had my newborn daughter in the car, and I have not been able to go into the lobby. Without hesitation a member of the HT family has HAPPILY met me in the parking lot to either safely escort my dog inside or bring him outside.Hounds Town Garden City is the ONLY place I am comfortable bringing my dog. I know when he is there he is having the time of his life running around with his friends! More importantly I know he is safe, well cared for and loved. Trust me, you and your four legged family member will be beyond satisfied with Hounds Town Garden City. Oh, and he/she will most definitely have the Hounds Town hangover which means he/she had the best day ever!Townie for life!

The best place to leave your dogs for both daycare and boarding. Great staff that genuinely cares for the animals. Dogs are constantly playing- no sitting in a kennel all day. We have two pretty particular dogs who are fearful of humans and nervous when meeting new dogs and they’ve opened up so much from their time at HoundsTown. Wouldn’t trust any other place with our dogs!

Our Goldendoodle started going to Hounds Town Garden City daycare, so he could socialize with other dogs. We got him, as a puppy, right before the pandemic, so he never got those important opportunities to socialize. They post pics, throughout the day, of all the pups socializing together. When we pick McGuinness up, hes mellow and tired ... a good day of playing! We boarded him overnight and felt very comfortable and at ease because Colleen and her staff are top notch, the nicest and you know they truly care about your furry family members. I would definitely recommend Hounds Town Garden City.

This place is amazing!! I have been taking my puppy Cooper here since I rescued her. The moment she did her temperament test and met all the phenomenal staff she gets very excited. She plays all day and I know that she is being supervised and cared for. She always comes home tired and happy. The staff are the friendliest. This really is the happiest place for doggies ever!! Finding Hounds Town Garden City has made such a difference in my life - all for the better! My pandemic puppy wanted friends so badly! She has grown socially so well spending time at Hounds Town. The staff is wonderful, they are responsive and post pictures of the pups on facebook which makes my day [even when its not of MY pup!]. The shots of my sweet doodle jumping and playing with other dogs are the best evidence of how much fun she has there - and when we leave her there for boarding she comes home both exhausted and relaxed - not stressed like she was at the kennel or the vet. Its like puppy camp - I feel so comfortable leaving her there. And so convenient for baths and manicures!Update 2/16/22: this remains an amazing resource - the staff is so caring and accommodating and the pups are so happy! Houndstown GC puts extra care into everything they do!Update 1/13/24: Just picked up my floof from her longest stay ever - I was worried about it being 10 whole days but I could see from pictures posted that she was cheerful and relaxed while there and was happy to come home but not stressed at all - shes now resting comfy after her exit spa bath and as alwys, Im so happy to have found HTGC!

We love Hound Town Garden City. They provide exceptional care and clean facilities for our beloved fur baby. She literally pulls us through the door every time we arrive for a “play day” and doesn’t want to leave at the end. She has made some best buds with the other pups and people. Highly recommend!!!

Houndstown Garden City has been an awesome place that we found over a year ago. We were looking for a location where our Baby can meet other dogs and have great days of fun to which she does all the time. Further sometimes we need overnights And we border there all the time. To which we feel very safe with her there. The employees from the owner To every single one of them we consider family.

Since the moment I brought my dog to Houndstown in Garden City it has been a great quality experience. They treat each and every dog and owner like they are family. Everyone that works there is respectful and professional. It is so reassuring to know when I drop my dog off for the day that she is well taken care of. At the end of the day she is a very happy dog which makes me a very happy owner. I highly recommend!!

Hounds Town Garden City has been a game changer for us! Our dog, Maddie, LOVES going and starts to whine in excitement as soon as we get close. On those days I bring her, I know she will play all day and be loved and cared for by the awesome staff. I am pretty sure she does not want to leave at the end of the day! We have also used their boarding services and it was great.

HoundsTown always takes great care of my dog. They post pictures everyday so you are able to see your dog playing with all their new friends. My dog has always been tired when I pick her up because she ran around throughout her stay. Best thing is they offer are the exit baths so your pup is smelling nice and clean at pickup! I always recommend HoundsTown and will always trust them with my dog in the future.

I could not have been luckier to find Hounds Town Garden City! All of the staff are absolutely wonderful and take such good care of all the dogs. They truly treat them as if they are their own! Whenever I drop my dog off, I know she is going to have the best time (and sometimes doesn’t even want to leave when it’s time to go home!) I would highly recommend using HTGC for day care and for boarding!

Hounds Town has the most caring staff, and is the perfect place for my pup to socialize with other dogs! He doesnt want to leave! The facility is immaculate. I highly recommend for day care and boarding!

Houndstown Garden City is beyond amazing! Luna is always so excited to be there - pulls from the car to the door. You are always greeted with a smile by everyone! They all knew Lunas name after the first time I brought her in. I cant recommend this doggy day care enough!!!

I bring my dog here 1-2x a week. The staff is very friendly and it seems as though my pup has a good time when he goes. He’s always excited when we get there. The hours are great - especially for folks who have late evenings or early mornings. I believe the price / package prices are very reasonable. The only thing I wish they had were cameras so you can check in from time to time to see what your pup is up to, but maybe they will in the future :)Overall I trust leaving my pup here for daycare!

This was my first time here with my fur baby and they were extremely friendly and accommodating. It has a small-family feel with brightly colored decor. Everything was explained in detail and my baby slept so well that night. We’ll be back to board him later in the week and I feel very confident doing so. Great place!!!

My 2 Doberman pups love going to Houndstown! They take very good care of them. The staff is friendly and nice and importantly know the breed!

We looooove Hounds Town Garden City. We’ve taken our doodle there for daycare about 3 days a week since March and couldn’t be happier. We feel like they’re part of our family. Our dog loves being dropped off in the morning and is exhausted when he comes home which is so great because he has a ton of energy when he hasn’t played with other dogs all day and we live in an apartment. We also have boarded him there and that was also great! I highly recommend them to any dog owner I meet!

Hounds Town Garden City is the best! They are so kind and wonderful to the animals in their care. Its a hard job but you can tell the staff loves each dog/cat. I recommend them highly.

Puppy paradise. Best place to take your pup! We bring our German shepherd mix there to daycare and we also use them for his baths. He absolutely loves everyone there and gets so excited to see his Houndstown family and furry friends. They are so accommodating to all of their customers however they can be. They are always pleasant to speak with and always treat our pup with lots of love and care. I recommend them to anyone, they’re awesome!

My 3 year old lab loves it! Since June I have been bringing him for daycare and when he gets home we would be exhausted (he has a lot of energy). We had to go away for a few days and boarded him, this was the first time he has every boarded and I was very happy, the staff was very responsive when I texted them asking how he was doing. Im happy that I found a reliable place to have my dog go if I ever need to board him. I would definitely recommend Hounds Town to anybody I know that has a dog! Also I love that there is a Facebook group where they post a bunch of pictures so you can see your fur baby.

I can’t say ENOUGH about this staff!!!! Wow!!!! My dog is very skittish and can get uncomfortable easily and can only be left with a select one or two people. I have never left him alone before but unfortunately we had a case where his designated people could not watch him so I brought him here for 2 test days before boarding. I truly expected them to call me and tell me to pick him up immediately. But this staff was so understanding, gentle, and professional with my dog that he was able to warm up which is something he has NEVER done. I was able to board him with no stress and the staff updated me daily. The staff here really made my experience unforgettable. Thank you hounds town!!!!

Th is a was there first time in 15 years I had to board my dog.This Place is very clean. The room where the dogs played was bright and spacious. They told me they would keep my dog with older, timid dogs. The contract you sign is very clear. The staff seemed very caring .They post pictures during the day on Facebook so you can see your dog having fun.They give you one day of free doggie day care to see how your dog likes it. They also offer an exit bath so you’re pup smells sweet so you pickhim up.I’ve already booked for a week in August.I highly recommend this for your dog’s day care and/or boarding .

The best doggy day care! I highly recommend Houndstown of Garden city! My dog loves going there and is so happy when I drop her off and pick her up. All of the staff are very nice and caring with all the animals and they post pics of my dog when I’m away and give updates.

Amazing. They always take such good care of our girls. They clearly take time to know them and each one’s individual personalities. One of our dogs is outgoing and wants to be in the center of things at all times! The other is shy and would prefer if no one ever even noticed her. Both always come away happy and well take care of

If youre looking to board your dog with a staff that cares then I would strongly suggest Hounds Town Of Garden City. They listen and take the time to understand everything about your dog. Our family loves leaving Cora at this location when we have to leave town. Lauryn/Colleen/Brianna are absolutely awesome!!!

I was very happy to see Bentley come home somewhat tired which tells me he had a great time . I think the staff is friendly and sensitive to the needs for your dog . Colleen came up front to personally meet both myself and Bentley and took me on as much of a tour as she could. The camera says it all and I love the fact that she puts all her dogs in thee best suited room for your dog and the others inside as well . Highly recommend Hounds Town !

Love the people at Hounds Town! My cat was very well taken care of when I went away for a long weekend. They are super responsive if you have questions while youre away! Ive taken my cat there twice and will continue to do so.

My dog Stella tends to be more reserved and a bit of a “couch potato.” We started taking her to HoundsTown so she can get more active and within a few sessions she was out of her comfort zone and sprinting into the door. I’ve toured other day cares and I liked this one the best. They don’t cage your dog and it’s also very affordable with one flat rate no matter how long you keep your dog. I highly recommend!

Hounds town is by far the best thing that has happened for me and my pup !! The staff are all so reliable and I genuinely trust them to care for my puppy when I am unable to for the day! Ruby basically pulls my arm off trying to get in the door because she’s so excited to play with her friends. It’s been hard to find someone I truly trust to care for my dog while I am busy for long periods at a time and finding hounds town was life changing !! So grateful for them and all they do!!! Ruby has so much fun there and always comes home exhausted from a long day of running and playing! Absolutely love hounds town and would give it more stars if I could !!

My dog absolutely loves this place. Is always nervous when we arrive but once he is in he loves it! But the best part of this place is the customer service and their love for animals they treat your pet like their own! We love it here and all the cute stuff they even do for your furry littles. We love Colleen and her whole team here!

My dog stayed for holiday weekend. She was greeted with warm welcoming staff. I was able to see pictures of her every day and was able to see she was having a blast. She came home bathed and smelling amazing. She is one happy dog. Highly recommend!!

I absolutely love and appreciate all the people that care for our pups every day at Hounds Town Garden City. My boxer Zelda, runs to go inside as soon as I open the car door. Everyone there takes the time to show each person and their dog how much they care about our pups. I was very happy that both of my dogs had such a great time playing with each other and other dogs. Im so relieved that they both were okay staying overnight at a new place. It makes me feel so relieved that they were taken care of and there were no issues. The staff made us feel so welcome. We thank you for the hospitality. They are so loving with the dogs. You can see the eagerness of the dogs going to the staff when you drop them off. Our even knows the route in the morning that she goes crazy in the car the closer we get to the school. They made the separation anxiety so much easier. They treat each dog 🐶 as if it was their own. My nearly 2 year old golden retriever Oban had the absolute best time at Hounds Town! Everyone who works there was kind and helpful, and I felt comfortableleaving him in their care. At the end of the day he was happy and tired! We will definitely be returning.

Amazing experience for Rossco, I trust houndstown to take care of my fur baby with no issues. We will definitely be returning for daycare! This is exactly what I was looking for, a home away from home while I’m at work. The environment was friendly and he was just as excited going in and leaving. I want to thank the staff for their amazing customer care and putting my mind at ease. They answered and covered all my questions, there was no hassle and they even returned my call when I was checking in on him.

Brought my dog here based on a friends referral, and they were great. They require a temperament check before boarding, and based on first impressions I was very confident leaving my dog here while away. First time in a very long time that I had to board one of my dogs. I really like how they are free to interact with other dogs in a big room, and not in a cage all day. They post pictures on their Facebook group everyday, so we can see how shes doing. I paid for an exit bath for her, and they did a great job. I would confidently board my dog here again.

At first, he was very shy and timid but the staff paired him with a great group of dogs and he has really opened up and became more playful and confident. Fredo’s first ever boarding experience was at Hounds Town and he came home both happy and exhausted! He had such a great time and everyone there is so kind and caring. Fredo has now been going to daycare for over 2 years and Hounds Town has become his home away from home. They are his extended family! Love this place very much.

A great facility for doggy daycare. Our 9 month pup had a blast playing all day with the other townies. Staff are professional and friendly and clearly know how to handle dogs. An excellent option to socialize your dog and let him/her play all day.

A fantastic place for a dog to play with other dogs in a supervised environment. The staff is very caring and dedicated making sure your dog is going to have a great day.Update: my dog still regularly visits and knows the route there. When we get a few blocks away he starts whining. He cant wait to jump out of the car and into the play area.

The entire team at Hounds Town Garden City cares deeply for each 4-legged furry family member. They are professional in every aspect of their work and you become fast friends with the caring staff. They offer exit baths for a very reasonable price. The facility is clean, roomy, with many play areas for the different play groups. Their spot-on assessments of the dog’s behavior places them with like-minded play companions assessed for activity level, anxiety, friendliness and age. They offer “fun days” around each holiday, and always celebrate birthdays. We trust them implitedly. Our furry one gets sooooo excited to leave the house on her HT play days and comes home with a HT hangover having expended her energy interacting all day. They are The Best!!

The meet n greet was brilliant. Sarah was very welcoming.. first impressions always count and she and her coworker. 10 our of 10. Kenza my dog has cerebellar ataxia and they treated her so well.... 1 have booked 15 days boarding . Place is clean , no doggy odor, loved it ! We went away on vacation for 1 week and checked our mini-goldendoodle there. The staffs were amazing at drop-off and pick-up. Very professional and courteous. We also saw many pictures of him during our vacation at the daycares Facebook page. Overall, we were very happy with the service.

Best place for peace of mind should you need dog care during the day or if going away on vacation. They open at 6am and close at 8pm M-F and 9-5 on Sat Sun. They are the friendliest, nicest staff. When we went away we could text anytime for an update. They treat your dog like their own. A day here and your pup will come home tired and happy. They offer packages that bring the cost down to about 30$ a day. If your pup needs a bath? Reasonable rate for an exit bath or treat her/him to a spa bath for a little extra. Best place ever for dogs.

We have been bringing our dog here for 8 months and she absolutely loves going. Its so good for getting her socialized to other dogs. And since they also board there she will already be very familiar with the employees, other dogs, and the place itself which will make boarding that much easier for her!

HTGC is the best! If i say the words “hounds town” to my pup she scarfs her food down and is waiting at the door to get in the car. They treat her like she’s family and every time i walk in the door with her she is welcomed with open arms. Clean, personable, caring, safe and amazing! I’m so happy to have HTGC in our lives.

Great staff. They were so pleasant and helpful. I found it to be a great experience and wouldnt hesitate to bring my dog again.. He was happy and exhausted when I got him home. That is a good sign to me that he had a very nice overnight stay.

We found this place through a friend and so glad we did. Tucked away behind a deli, we never knew this place existed. It’s clean, our Fozzie always has a great time there and everyone treats the dogs like family, Your dog will come home exhausted! They do a temperament check with your dog to make sure they can socialize and requires all the vaccinations you’d expect from your groomer,p. I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Every staff member who works for Hounds Town Garden City is in a great mood, always willing to help and professional. They are always ready to accommodate with last minute boarding and stays. It is a great place and offer great service.

Pros: Friendly service for my 14 month old puppy. Convenient location. Wonder was tired and ready to nap the two days that she was in puppy day care.Cons: Not one single photo of my dog from the two days she was there, out of over approximately 150 photos taken. No report at pickup. May seem unimportant l, but this does give me pause as a first time client. 🤔

Hounds town is a very organized and friendly place to bring your dog. I loved at the end of the day we got a report card for our Rolo. This was the first of many days we will be spending with hounds town!

I have been bringing my Luna to houndstown for years and they always treat her with so much love and care! I was nervous to leave her for boarding after being home with her for so long during Covid, but Houndstown took great care of her and updated me while I was on vacation! Hounds Town Garden City is extremely communicative, professional, and put all of my worries as a new dog parent aside. All of the staff are so friendly and treated my dog so well- and I would 100% recommend this place.

Our beagle generally has social anxiety issues , but I guess she could sense Colleen and her staff were warm/friendly with dogs. She was immediately comfortable in the check in area , without her usual excessive barking . She also warmly gave her good bye on the late afternoon., without any signs of an anxious afternoon at doggie day care . thrilled!

I love this place! Its so cute, and they seem to really care about dogs! I was so nervous to drop my pup off (more nervous than dropping my kids to daycare) but they reassured me, set my dog up with one on one play time to start, and my pup seemed to have a great time. I will definitely be doing back.

Edited:Colleen, the woman i referred to as who usually checks me out called me and explained the woman who charged me was new and made a mistake. Colleen refunded the daycare amount. She was very apologetic. I appreciate her reaching out to me to rectify the misunderstanding as Damien does love being there. They have always been very accomodating. I know hes cared for by all the girls as well.I have been boarding my cat with them since we got him. I honestly never had a bad thing to say. The staff is super friendly. Price was always reasonable until my last visit. He wasnt even there for a full 24 hrs and it cost $55. The woman said there was a daycare fee added bc i picked him up after 12 but that she didnt charge me for his nail clipping. Ive never had to pay that before- it was always just the $25 nightly fee, and the last time they gave him a bath and nail clipping. I mean hes a cat and kept in a cage and youre charging me daycare??? Hes not out socializing. So sad, we wont be going back…not with those prices. I wish we would have seen the normal woman that checks us out- shes so amazing.

HoundsTown Garden City is the best! My dog loves this place! He can’t wait to get in the door, and always comes home tired. Super friendly staff with easy drop off and pick up. Best doggie day care!!

The Hounds Town staff was so welcoming to my family and our sweet little pup, Chica! They informed us of all of their services and the ways that they strive to keep dogs safe, happy, and cared for. They posted pictures of our dog all day as she played with other dogs her size. When we picked Chica up, we received an adorable report card detailing Chicas behavior and interactions. Chica was one happy pup (and were happy parents)!

We are so happy with Houndstown. Our Great Dane loves his days there, playing with the other dogs and the staff too! We have also boarded Blue several times and it was a great experience. Great place!

As soon as I walked in with my GSD, I felt my puppy of 10 months was already categorized as not fit for the program. I was questioned several times about the Vaccination Card and the location to greet was constantly busy with entering dogs that startled my pup for his first time with strangers. Not a highly recommended area to do an evaluation for a first time Puppy. Dogs barked at him at the entrance, but once he started barking back, he couldnt join because was considered temperamental. I recommend that the daycare hire professional trainers to know how to handle a puppy in distress so they can be comfortable enough. Website was off leading by stating they can handle any size or breed dogs. Petsmart handled my puppy better than this Facility. To say that Jupiter was snarling as soon he entered is untrue.

We love Houndstown! Our mini Bernedoodle is so well taken care of there, and she comes home happy and tuckered out. She loves all the staff and has made wonderful doggie friends!

From the first day I used this service I not only was impressed but very much satisfied. My pomeranian Nasir loves the staff and has made many friends. Its a wonderful place for your pet to come for the day or stay overnight. I would recommend Hounds Town Garden City for anyone who loves their pet because thats exactly what your pet will receive LOVE.

Our dog cant wait to get to Hounds Town. She seems to know when we are taking her and she barks at us if we dont move fast enough. We truly appreciate the love and care she receives Thank you!

My puppy Gracie was there for one day so far, but everyone was so great . They texted me throughout day as I was nervous to leave her, and she was taken such good care of . We will be back next week for more !

Colleen and the crew are so wonderful with my dog. My fella is an older dog and could be a bit cranky but the Hounds Town team knows just what he needs. I know he is in good hands when he is there.

My Basenji Huey loves this place. Every time I drop him off for the day it’s like Christmas for him all over again. HoundsTown appropriately separates by size and are attentive to every dogs’ needs. Huey’s a happy boy when I pick him up at the end of the day. I couldn’t ask for more in a doggy day care center.

I had to suddenly take my grandmothers cat and needed to find boarding for her really last minute because I had a vacation planned ahead. A good friend of mine said they take their dog for daycare here and they also do boarding. I called but then realized Lady (cat) wasnt up to date on her shots. I was so stressed out because I didnt know what to do and Colleen, shes absolutely amazing, helped me to find a place where I could get her vaccinated the next day. The amount of relief I felt after making the appointment and getting Lady in order was amazing. They were so helpful I wish I could give them 10 stars. When dropping off, the girls at the desk were very nice and also experienced with cats so that definitely eased some stress I had with dropping her in another different enviornment. They were very responsive and honest when I called and asked for updates about how shes doing, and they even sent me pictures of her! I asked that they give her a bath but she was a little to scared for that but they wiped her down before pickup which really seemed to be all she needed. During pickup Lady was a little nervous but nowhere near how she was when i dropped her off. I feel like after adjusting she was able to relax and enjoy her time there. Will definitely be coming back for future vacations.

My puppy started about 2 months ago and I was nervous about dropping her off bc she wasnt used to being around other dogs and the staff was so great, considerate and patient with all my questions and concerns. Now Maddie runs towards their door and comes home exhausted from playing.. Would definitely recommend!!

I am so glad a friend recommended Houndstown. Bo loved it! They posted picture of him on Facebook so that we could see his activities and were so responsive to our phones calls. They are fairly priced and have him a great bath before coming home. Great place!!

I boarded my dog here overnight once but never did daycare. this morning i had a terrible migraine and called out work. knew i couldn’t walk my dog/do anything today so i called hounds town and they took him last minute! when i picked him up he fell asleep immediately after jumping in the car because he had been non stop playing for hours! love that i have an amazing place to rely on when charlie needs somewhere to go!

Our dog has stayed at Hounds Town several times in a short amount of time. He fights us to walk into Vet offices but walks right into Hounds Town! He loves it!

Amazing customer service and my dog has so much fun playing with his new friends. We love that they open early on Mondays through Fridays so we can drop him off as early as 6 am! Thank you HoundsTown Garden City!

Amazing experience. This place was able to bring my rescue out of her shell in two visits. I can’t express the joy I felt when I received a phone call telling me that my girl Snow made a new friend and was playing with Cooper all day.
