Fresh Tails Grooming

After my regular groomer moved out of state I decided to try out this grooming salon for my poodle. I am so glad that I did! I spoke with the person before making an appointment and he really seemed to listen to what I was looking for. My poodle was definitely nervous, being this was a different environment for her, but she seemed to adjust well and seemed happy when I picked her up. What a wonderful job he did! Her hair was very messy and matted and definitely a challenge. I will definitely be back!

Danny is a great Groomer with reasonable pricing! (Penny the Schnauzer looks sad in this bad picture, but she really looks awesome.) Highly recommend

Just getting a coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts next-door and whoever works in there had someone’s dog outside with no leash and no collar running freely around the parking lot almost got hit by a truck!!!! I would never ever bring my dog hear if they’re going to let the dog out with no control !!!!!! Chasing the dog around the parking lot nearly ran into the main road with cars flying past !!!!!

Been going here for almost a year now! My bernedoodle always comes out looking and smelling fresh! They always do a great job!

The owner is very accommodating, understands, and works very hard at meeting our requests every time. We have yet to be disappointed with his or his staffs work.

I live in the Huntington area, but Fresh Tails Grooming in Glen Head came highly recommended, so we made an appt. and took our Shiba Inu dog there to be groomed. Since it was her first visit, she had a little anxiety, so I didnt get the opportunity to take any before or after photos but next time. Danny, the owner did an amazing job. She looked beautiful!

Fresh Tails and Danny are great. They always give Teddy a great looking haircut. Nice full service with a bath, haircut, nails and teeth. Definitely recommend Danny and Fresh Tails.

Found this groomer online and was afraid to try it at first and took both of my pups for the first time and Danny was so greeting and wonderful. My pups came back looking so adorable. A few months later I got a new pup and he’s a crazy one lol and I thought my pup was going to go crazy at the groomers and not allow them to do anything but Danny and his staff went out there way and made him look soooo freaking adorable. 10/10 love this place.

My dog, Tyson, can’t chill out no matter what. So anything I take him to the groomer I usually expect him to come back kind of choppy. It’s never the groomers fault, Tyson is just super high-energy. But when he came back from Fresh Tails, my gosh, he looked like he should be in a commercial! So pristine, so happy🥹 I could tell Tyson was going to be taken good care of when the groomer properly introduced himself to Tyson. My pup usually doesn’t like strangers but he was comfortable immediately! 10/10 would recommend!!!

Truly the best grooming spot around!! Danny is the best. They always get our dog in quickly and she has never been there for more than 1.5-2 hours tops. They always listen to what we want for her and do a perfect job. Can’t recommend them enough!

After moving to Glen Cove and trying out a couple of places, this is by far the best! They follow every instruction, are on time, responsive and responsible. Our Nala is not the easiest to deal with and Fresh Tails really goes above and beyond. Thank you Fresh Tails!

We had our 4 month old wild and crazy labradoodle groomed here, even though we couldn’t imagine her sitting still for it. Danny did a wonderful job and she came out looking beautiful. We will certainly go back.

My first experience and Danny made a customer for life. Less expensive and much higher quality cut than the other local places. Ive tried them all. Theyre (secretly) located next to Dunkin Donuts in that little strip mall.

Very patient people. They did a wonderful job with my 2 rescue dogs, which was not an easy task, considering this was probably the first time my girls get groom. Very reasonable prices.
