I originally posted a glowing review. The vets here are caring people, and they were helpful to me with my occasional rescue work and my own cats.A few months ago however, that all changed. My cat Lexi had an old stitch from spay surgery that was not removed. The surgery had been performed prior to my adopting her and had nothing to do with Station Plaza).I brought her here to remove the stitch because it was irritating her, and that started a nightmare.To make a long story short, three botched surgical procedures to remove one stitch turned into a life-threatening situation for Lexi. She had to have emergency surgery with a specialist to repair what had been done here. The work done here was careless, follow-up made it worse, and Lexi almost died because the surgery here left her vulnerable to infection. It truly was careless. Nothing like that should have happened. If you look at the photos youll see the results of the surgery done here, and its awful. She almost died.This office is lovely and fine for routine care, but in my experience as a former animal shelter employee and long-term pet owner, anything more complex should be done elsewhere.

The most amazing people I was turned down by others but not them . Now thats amazing! With help yogi Lori and Alan gerdy has a chance to be pain free doctor Sullivan is out of this world to take this on . Im crying right now . Even if you dont take your animal there get to know them . Whoever is reading this review trust me they are dedicated to saving animals !

Love both doctors and all the staff. Weve been going there for nearly 20 yrs. They care about your pets, your cost and are as convenient and helpful as possible. All around awesome!!

Ive been using them since I adopted my latest dog, Rudy 2 years ago.. I switched to them because the came so highly recommended from several friends. Im so glad I did they are very knowledgeable & professional. The staff is great too.

TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. Let me first start of by saying I don’t write a lot of reviews but I just had to. Since being in NY, I’ve had bad experiences with vets. I even lost one of my dogs to the hands of a money greedy vet last year this time. However, this place has restored my faith. The staff is so nice! They don’t use condescending tones and are genuinely loving towards your pet. We got Dr. Sullivan and she was a gem. Super caring and attentive to our lab, she was easily able to diagnosis him with an allergic reaction to a bee sting. She kept him for two hours for observation after giving him treatment and the swelling went down instantly! When went to go pick him back up, he was so happy and looked like he had enjoyed his time with the staff. The charges in total came to only $158! Other vets always charged us ridiculous prices and always tried giving our pets treatments that were costly and unneeded. I was in such a pleasant shock and left with a happy pet and an even happier owner. As their slogan goes, they really do treat your pets as their own. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

I just have to reiterate how amazing this group is and Jessica went above and beyond for my pups! I will never change, going on 6 years now with this group and I do not live close by, they are worth the drive!Original post: Despite these unprecedented times with COVID-19, they still operate and take very good care of their clients and clients owners. They are always very accommodating and reasonably priced for all services. Ive been using them for 5 years now for my 1st pup. I have 3 pups now and all receive outstanding care from this professional group.

Ive never had such a pleasant experience going to the vet as I have had here! I thought my dogs teeth were beyond repair and would require x-rays/extractions. He ended up coming back with all of his teeth still there and they were SO clean, I couldnt believe it! His breath is no longer stinky and Im sure his mouth is feeling much better without all that caked plaque. Super affordable for such a necessary procedure and we are so happy with the results!

I can’t say enough on how happy I am with Station plaza Vet, they are so knowledgeable and you can’t beat their prices. I paid 4 times the amount at a vet in Roslyn who basically did nothing. The vet made me and my dog feel at ease with her kind way, I highly recommend it his vet!

Disappointed. We have a 2 year old German Shepherd who is very friendly. Used to go to VCA Glen hospital and wed bring him over just to say hi-no treatments. The 3 times we have bought him to Station it was like we were bringing in a hostile dog (Vet even asked me if he was mean-well, yeah cause you guys made no attempt at showing him care or love). They made no attempt to really hands on treat him, even with sedatives. People were nice enough, but after our past vet who unfortunately closed I was really let down given the positive reviews in the past. Were taking our dog elsewhere.

I have moved from my mothers house to an apt and now my own house so I do not live local, but I keep coming back. They are truely the best vet out there. This team of professionals actually care for your pet and are not trying to just make a ton of money on you. They have always gone above and beyond for me and instead of me trying to build a relationship with a local vet, they have proved to me today that they are worth the 45 min drive! Thank you station vet for taking care of my 2 furbabies with such great care!

Visiting from our and a minor issue cropped up. They were able to quickly squeeze me on with little notice.The Vet showed me how to change bandages if anything happened while traveling.The fee for this was less expensive than a normal visit to my vet back home (in a MUCH cheaper cost of living area).5 stars!!!

Dr. Cathy and Dr. R are the best, most sympathetic vets I have been to. Their course of treatment always has your pets best interest in mind. They only time they think about money is when they believe the costs will be high to treat your pet. The staff is also caring and courteous. I highly recommend them.

Station Plaza Veterinary Group is the best. They do what is in the best interest of your animal and they never take advantage of you financially. My dog was initially brought to them by the shelter he was rescued by and we continue to commute 40 minutes to see them as we truly trust their judgment! They are knowledgeable, kind, and true animal lovers. We are grateful to have been introduced to them!

Been going to this vet for almost 15 years, I’d never go anywhere else. I’ve been there with kittens, puppies as well as older dogs and cats at their time of transition.Both vets are absolutely top notch and second to none. The most capable and compassionate group I’ve ever worked with.

Compassionate, kind, professional and competently skilled veterinarian.On one of the saddest days of my life, I met a compassionate, kind, professional and competently skilled veterinarian with a team that genuinely cares about animals and people.My cat had Lymphoma. She went downhill so fast, she was clearly in pain, stopped eating and drinking; I didn’t want to subject her to the 70 minute car trip to our usual veterinarian.I started calling all the animal hospitals within a 20 minute drive.I was shocked at the amount of money they were asking me to pay to end her suffering. All were charging for a full exam even though I explained I had the pathology report & one look at her & it was clear that sadly the time had come. A couple of places even gave me ridiculously itemized totals.And then, I called Station Plaza Veterinarian Group. The fee was so low that I questioned the education & amount of years in practice. Top Vet school, 15 years in practice... okay.I arrived to a filled waiting room, but was ushered right into a treatment room. The Vet Tech was kind, caring and comforting.Dr. Cathy Roncskevitz came in. She examined my cat and read the report. She then patiently explained the possible treatments and poor prognosis.She supported me, explaining and giving me the confidence that I needed to go ahead with euthanasia.With a full waiting room, she told me to take all the time I needed to say goodbye.I have euthanatized five animals, and Dr R. took the most time with the sedative first to make sure she was asleep before injecting. She was the first doctor to get the vein on the first try, considering my cat was dehydrated, making it difficult. She even took the time to shave all the fur I wanted.I commented to Dr.Roncskevitz about her very reasonable fee;Its the last service that we can provide for an animal, why should we price gouge.”From start to finish, I was treated as if I was a long time important client.I still have two cats & a parrot,I am pleased to say that I won’t have to make that 70 minute trip to my long-time veterinarian.

This practice offers excellent animal care. Their staff is friendly, warm and professional. They are very thorough in the examination and treatment of their clients pets. Would recommend 100%

I am so grateful for the skill and professionalism of Drs. Sullivan and Roncskevitz. They have cared for mymy 9 year old Shih Tzu since she was a puppy. She can be a handful to treat but these valiant and skilled vets always manage to rise to the occasion. Many thanks to them and their excellent techs!

Located right by the train station the location has plenty of parking making it an easy expert for your pet from the car to exam room. I started using Station Plaza Veterinary Group 3 years ago. They are the best practice around. The entire staff is extremely knowledgeable. They are kind and compassionate individuals as well. They are also extremely transparent with any procedures that they perform and never suggest anything that is unnecessary. I highly recommend them!

I had to put my sweet girl down today and felt compelled to write this review for this wonderful place. I am not the first one to struggle with the decision as to when it is time for your dog or pet to cross the rainbow bridge. Both Vets are warm and compassionate people. When we arrived the entire staff knew why we were there and the warmth I felt from the moment I walked in was was extremely appreciated. The Dr carefully explained everything and reassured me we were making the right decision. The experience for my dog was peaceful and she experienced no pain. As difficult as today was I left knowing we did the right thing and thankful my dog was no longer suffering. I hope I never have to do it again but if I do I would only go back here. Lastly, if you are struggling with whether you want to be in the room at the time, I assure you you do. Your pet deserves to be looking into the eyes of the person who loves them most when they pass on. It’s difficult but I promise you that he or her will feel your love and be comforted and you will feel at peace knowing their journey is complete free of pain and stress. Thank you Kristen and Cathy and the entire staff.

My dog had an allergic reaction last night which I treated appropriately and then started vomiting today. I was really nervous that something was wrong and although they were closed because it was sunday they check there messages and called me back in a reasonable amount of time. The Vet on the phone gave me advice, I was reassured. I have never had a Vet actually call you back when the office is closed usually your only option is to spend money and use 24 hour emergency hospital.

They are always so caring and accommodating.

I went in there with my Presa Canario pup named ACE! Instantly greeted and felt right at home! very nice environment! great people! and a very Knowledgeable staff! will continue to bring ace there for routine check ups! did not try to up sell me any premium dog foods or vitmains not a thing more than taking care of Aces small cut that needed a few stitches! As far as Price i would say they are extremely i mean extremely Economical. I want to say thank you again for all of your help again.
