I love that the play areas have cameras, allowing me to check in on my dog gives me peace of mind when he’s not with me. It’s so comforting to see him happy, active, and getting plenty of attention throughout the day. The variety of services and the cleanliness of your facilities are top-notch. Its clear that the team is passionate about what they do, and they go above and beyond to make sure every dog feels loved and well cared for. My pup always comes home exhausted from all the fun and excitement, and he looks forward to each visit.

We LOVE Camp Bow Wow! Everyone is so friendly, we have no concerns about leaving our dogs in their care. Our dogs get so excited when we pull into the parking lot and come home exhausted from playing all day.

I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow for boarding and day care. They offer half day and full day care. The friendliness of the employees is impeccable and they truly care about our fur baby. The cleanliness of the facility is amazing and the cameras in the play yards are an added bonus so you can check on how your pup is doing and interacting with the other dogs. They are so on top of everything, they email reminders about vaccines that will expiring, suggestions on bringing in your pet for day care prior to boarding to get them used to being there. I trust them 110% to care for my fur baby 🦴🐾

This place is literally amazing. Our puppy Saint Bernard Dixie absolutely loves going there. Shes been going since she was about 4 1/2 months. Then unfortunately we had to board her for 16 days due to an emergency. They fit her in some how because it was Presidents week and the owners and staff are absolutely amazing. They go out of their way to help in any way they can. I dont know what I would do without them. They are angels and so are the staff. Cant wait to pick her up tomorrow!!!!!

Camp Bow Wow is simply and wonderfully amazing. Tori and Devyn take such good care of my puppy, Koa, every visit there. They plus Doug and Dave give me the reassurance that he is in good hands always for both camp and boarding. Thank you guys!

Very friendly and knowledgeable employees, you can tell they all love dogs. The cameras are great to watch your pup play during the day. The place is very clean. My puppy had a great time! Love the drop-in daycare.

My Shepherd Husky mix Kyra absolutely loves CBW. She nearly pulls my arm out of the socket to get into the door when I drop her off. That’s the greatest endorsement I can give. The staff is wonderful and my dog loves being there. And we love how she sleeps after a day of play with her pals.

Clean, safe, great care for the dogs, abiding by owners instructions, friendly staff, whats not to like?I dont have to worry about the safety of my 2 dogs when they are campers there. And they made every effort to accommodate us for a 2 night stay next week when they are fully loaded. Our 2 pups will have to bunk together, but they will cuddle up and feel more secure as a unit. I really wish there was a Camp Bow Wow in Suffolk County!

We love Camp Bow Wow! Our dog has stayed with Camp Bow Wow Hicksville many times over the last few years, and we know that shes in amazing hands every time. It really eases our minds to know that we can watch her on a live feed for most of the day, and when we pay for extra enrichment services, we always get such wonderful pictures and videos texted to us.

This place is amazing! Friendly, clean, attentive and fun! My Abbie girl loves it there. The staff is so nice and good to her! They also have video cameras installed in the play rooms so you can watch your furry family member on their app! 10 stars! ♥️🐾

Fantastic place! Very knowledgeable and professional staff. I was a little nervous as my dog is not used to day care, but they introduced him gradually to the other dogs over a short period of time, always by his side to monitor his reactions. My dog absolutely loved it. We will be back!

The owners and staff are very friendly to customers and so loving to all pets. You can see they all have much love for all the dogs that are there. The place is always very clean. The dogs are always playing and happy. You can also feel extra secure knowing that you can watch your pet on one of their dogcams from your phone or computer. My Ginger always loves going to their day camp and/or their boarding. I feel safe and rested knowing that she is in great care.

My dog Daisy loves attending Camp Bow Wow. Shes a nervous animal and even so she actually paws at the Camp door to go in. The staff are all very kind and attentive to both of us. I highly recommend it for dog and dog owners.

Leaving my dog for 1.5 months unexpectedly was not easy but Camp Bow Wow in Hicksville accepted Luke without hesitation and treated him like family. They were very meticulous about Lukes feeding schedule, nighttime routine, etc and made sure he was as comfortable as possible by giving him lots of snuggles and love. When I picked Luke up after his long stay, it was so clear how in love he was with all of the staff. The staff and the owner/managers are all incredible; theyre extremely friendly, warm, and their love for dogs is incomparable to other places Ive been to. Unfortunately we now live out of the country, but the very least I can do is 100% recommend Bow Wow in Hicksville. I miss this place A LOT and I know Luke would love to spend his day there right now if he had the chance. Thank you for EVERYTHING! Seriously!!!

Penny was taken care of and tuckered out after a full day of play. The staff is amazing and super caring and takes their campers and parents in like family. We’re going to recommend this CBW location to anyone with a pup !!

When I first went there I thought it was going to be great. I have two dogs and the older one was in another day care for a year and a half with not one issue. Today I drop him off and less than an hour later they tell call me to tell he was dominant and not allowed to return. But he didn’t bite anyone. At home he’s the most mellow dog, not a mean bone in his body. I’m beyond livid at this point. I won’t recommend this place if you have a high energy dog. It’s a shame because the owner David is so nice. Maybe they need to hire more mature people to work there.. All the employees are kids

A great place! Everyone is working there is so caring and nice. My Roxy puppy loves it there. Soon as we park in the lot. She try’s to break down the car door to get in there!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Camp Bow Wow! Everything from the time you book boarding until the time you pick up your pup - amazing! I love that you get an email notification confirming the dates for boarding and reminders on what to pack. So helpful! When we get there, my pup pulls me to get inside. He can’t wait to get there and be spoiled by the staff. They take such good care of him and I love that there are cameras so I can check on him when I’m missing him! Everyone is so nice and so friendly. Doug the owner is always there at the front desk to oversee everything. I would never take my pup anywhere else!

Camp Bow Wow is an amazing doggy daycare facility. It is super clean, and they treat all the dogs like family. They actually get to know your dog as if it is their own. The staff members are extremely friendly and every one is always in the best mood,I guess working with dogs all day can do that to you. I wouldnt want to bring my girl anywhere else.

Im a professional Animal Behaviorist/dog sitter, so dont trust many people/businesses. Camp Bow Wow is my go to place for my 3 large dogs. I have been taking them there for a few years. Theyre always excited to arrive and happily tired when I pick them up - both good signs. The price is affordable, and the best feature is the 24/7 live feed, which you can access anywhere around the world at anytime. I always reccomend Camp Bow Wow when I am unavailable for my own clients, and I have no issue if they decide to stay with them permanently!

I cannot say enough good things about this place.Cooper at first was very timid with just being dropped off with some strangers but now I swear when I turn off the highway he knows exactly where he is going and gets excited. The staff always greets you with a friendly hello but Cooper basically leaves me at the door during drop off

Love this place! Everyone is super friendly and LOVES dogs! The owners are also very hands on and that goes a long way. Management goes above and beyond with any and all inquiries. Their level of caring and professionalism is excellent. We entrust them with our beloved fur baby for playtime and boarding! Rigsby loves going there! Highly recommend!!

I have used Camp Bow Wow for many years. Always wonderful service. When the pandemic closed everything, I hadnt been back to Camp Bow Wow for a few years but needed them when I took a trip and could not bring my dog, Marshmellow, with me.The owner actually remembered her and my other dogs, Honey and Madison! They were so sweet to my old girl (she is 14 years old). They took good care of her. Great staff, clean and fun facility. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow, Hicksville!

Camp Bow Wow is the only place we trust for Heathcliff’s care when we go out of town. Very affectionate staff! I feel like they love my dogs as much as I do! And my dogs love going there, they get so excited when we break out the seat belts! I would love it more if they opened a little earlier and closed later!

Ive been bringing my dog here for almost 2 years and absolutely love it! The staff is super nice, always smiling and loves the animals. there is plenty of room for all sizes of dogs and plenty of employees to watch them. The minute i say puppy camp to my dog she goes crazy and is so happy to be with other dogs in this safe place. We can drop her off for the night and shell be bathed upon pickup (if we specify at drop off). Check it out to see for yourself, this place is amazing!

I love Camp Bow Wow! When I first called, the counselor walked me through their policies and what they can offer my dog. I got a tour of the facility when I first got there. I really appreciate the fact that they want your dog to have a practice day to make sure its the right fit for them. They are not just trying to take your money. They helped my dog acclimate to the play group since he was nervous the first 2 visits. He ended up loving it and gets so excited when we arrive to the facility. I also like how clean the facility is and the lower ratio of counselors to dog. I also appreciate the ability to monitor my dog remotely on the web cam. The schedule is also great. He gets dropped off at 7AM and rests in a crate until 8:30AM (with a blanket that I bring). He then plays all morning but is taken to the crate for a short bit to rest in the afternoon. He then goes back to play. I would definitely recommend! The staff really seems to care about the well-being of my dog.

I have been bringing my dog here since she was a puppy. She is always happy to be here. Camp bow wow staff is extremely caring and friendly. Facility is kept clean and my dog has never come home sick. Highly recommend!

Camp Bow Wow is absolutely incredible. I dropped my dog off today for the interview process and I feel incredibly lucky to have found this facility. It is absolutely immaculate. The people are incredible, especially Sam. Her extensive knowledge, professionalism, and kindness made us feel like we were leaving our dog with family. There is no safer place to leave your dog or better people to leave your pup with. Yes, the interview process is extensive. You must show up to date vaccinations and your dog must be able to play with other dogs. They introduce your dogs one on one with other dogs and on leash before allowing interviewees in with other campers. Its clearly a facility that wants whats best for all dogs involved to ensure safety and fun. I really cant stop raving about this place! I highly recommend them. They are well worth the money. No other boarding service or camp service gives the dogs this much play time.

My pugs Lovie and Bo absolutely adore Camp Bow Wow and the extra special care they receive. They love playing with other dogs, their cozy suite, and their campfire treats. I love all the amazing friendly counselors and the fact that I can watch my dogs from the app! The facility is also super clean and run very smoothly. I wouldn’t trust any other place to board my dogs or watch them for the day. I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow and am so grateful I found them!!!

I love that I can check on my dog throughout the day on the camera. The staff is so great. They are always so happy to see my dog and they do a great job. I like that there’s a staff person in the playyard with the dogs at all times. This definitely gives me peace of mind. Anytime a dog goes to the bathroom, they clean it up right away. They gave me such a great tour when we were new customers, and it made me feel like they were going to care for my dog like I do at home. I feel very comfortable leaving my dog for overnight boarding, and I’ve done several baths for her too. She always come out so clean and VERY tired from playing all day. I love that there are no mandatory breaks throughout the day. Honestly, I’ve had bad experiences at other facilities. This place is my favorite BY FAR. I recommend it to everyone I know!

I absolutely love everything about this facility. Can drop off anytime without an appointment and pick up anytime before closing.Literally everyone I’ve met there is wonderful.I feel my dog is in good, caring hands. They also screen dogs very well since I do not ever see any aggressive dogs.I a word, fabulous.

We cannot say enough about our dogs home away from home at Camp Bow Wow in Hicksville, NY. Our dog Preston goes everywhere with us. We were searching for a place that would love and care for him like we do for the occasional times we needed to be away. I hesitantly brought Preston over when Camp Bow Wow first opened. It was so clean and welcoming, the staff was super friendly and they understood my anxiety about leaving him even though it was for only a short time. I loved that I was able to watch him from my phone. When I picked him up he was happy and didnt want to get into the car.Since almost three years ago, Preston has been partying up at Camp Bow Wow. Weve moved to Vermont but still come back every month. All we have to say is Want to go to camp?and he grabs his leash and runs to the door. The camera is nice to have but I dont check it that much anymore. I know hes loved and cared for and is happy. The staff call him by name as he enters the building. Its still as clean as it was the day it opened, and the people that work there are just amazing. Dont ever hesitate to bring your pet to Camp Bow Wow. Take them up on the trial. You wont be disappointed!!

The person who gave us the introduction was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. When youre leaving a 5 month old poodle for the first time its beyond nerve wrecking. She put us at ease. The cameras in all the play areas is great for us parents as well. The first day my wife and I watched the cameras for the four hours my pup was there. The second day we probably only watched an hour out of the five she was there. Well definitely be back.

An incredible safe place to bring your pup to play! We absolutely love this place. Its perfect for the days we have a busy schedule or if the weather is not cooperating for outdoor excerise. Our sweet boy plays for hours and is exhausted by time we bring him home. The staff is amazing! They truly love what they do and love the doggie campers.

I wrote a 5-star review for Camp Bow Wow in Hicksville about 2 months ago, but, unfortunately, I have to change it. At first, we loved this company. The owners were and still are super friendly, and they really made us feel like they cared about our dog. That changed a few weeks after we started taking him there.The problem began when we left him for the weekend and kept checking the cameras only to find that our pup wasnt in any of the play areas. We kept checking back every 15 minutes or so, and we didnt see him for hours. We called and asked why he was crated, and we were told he was playing too rough with other dogs and was getting put in time outs. The staff specifically said they were putting him in for 5- to 10-minute time outs when he was being too rough. Our dog is energetic, so we believed them.The next time we dropped him off for the day, we watched on the cameras. He entered the play room, did one lap around the room, didnt even interact with yet with the other dogs, and was separated. He was gone from the cameras for about 30 minutes before we called. We explained the situation, and while it was clear they didnt have a valid response, they said they could tell that he needed to calm down in the crate before playing.We took him for another weekend, and this time watched the cameras diligently for about two hours. He wasnt ever in the play areas. I called and asked what was going on, and they very quickly responded that it was dinner time, and that he was separated for an hour while he ate. What we DIDNT tell them is that we had been watching for TWO hours, so they lied. Finally, we went to pick him up on a Sunday about an hour after they opened. There were dogs playing in the playroom, but ours wasnt in there. The employee brought me our dog and handed me his urine-soaked bed without saying anything. Evidently, they hadnt let him out at all in the hour they were there.Based on our experience, we cant recommend this place to anyone with a high-energy dog. Weve watched employees separate and crate our dog just because hes not one of the ones that just lays around in the play room. Maybe youll have a better experience if your dog is calm and relaxed, but if they like to play at all, Id strongly recommend against going here. Very disappointed, especially since they seemed so great and caring in the beginning.

Pongo loves coming here!! I am thankful to all the staff who take good care of our pets! I love it when the coach interacts with the dogs and run around with them to initiate exercise and play. My Pongo loves it when that happens. I feel like as much as staff can initiate the running around and play, it is so healthy and fun!!. I will continue to bring my dog here and thanks again to everyone who make his day so happy and wonderful!

Your warmth and compassion towards our little girl Harley is always appreciated. She obviously loves going to Camp Bow Wow as she always runs to the door and right through the gate to get started playing with her friends. The staff is professional and without a doubt loves their jobs and the beautiful dogs they handle on a daily basis. We can go away without a worry knowing she are in the care of such a fantastic team. Also, the honesty is refreshing, I cant say enough about the facility or the staff. A number 1 in our book!

For all the places we looked at to take care of our pups, this was the best choice. They offer plenty of services and the best is all day play for overnights on the drop off and pick ups. They also have cameras if you wish to check-in and see whats going on.The staff is super friendly and amazing, they love the dogs just as much as we do. Ive been taking my pups here since they were young and they always remember them by name (or reputation since one is a big yelper) whenever we bring them in and we are able to board them together whenever we need to.Thanks to their amazing service and our repeat visits they were super accommodating for an emergency drop off when my wife went into labor. We let them know ahead of time for a possible range and of course the baby decided to come early. I left a voicemail that someone would be dropping them off but with no set pickup date since we didnt know. Truly going above and beyond to help us out.The only downside, and this isnt their fault, are the Sunday hours due to the town regulations where they need to close up for a few hours. Its not great timing since its right in the middle of the afternoon but they gotta follow the rules like most everyone else so we deal with it if we ever need a Sunday for the pups.This is long already but if youre looking for a good place for day care or overnights with a solid staff and great facility, you found it here.

Maggie runs right in! Great friendly team, flexibility for when Maggie needs play time and I need to work! I love watching her on the doggie cams playing with her new puppy friends. The Bow wow team is professional and loving. They even shopped for food when I was away when my packaged food went bad. I dont worry when my furry baby is there!

I was blown away by this place! I was not expecting such friendly & knowledgeable staff to kindly walk us through every detail of our puppies stay. One of the owners, Dave was especially helpful and informative on our tour of the facility.After watching the interview process, Im comforted that he will be safe from other dogs as well as be well taken care of by the staff when we leave him here during our vacation, which was originally all we were interested in. Now, I want to bring him in just for fun to socialize and play with all the other dogs for the day! They dont discriminate against mixed breeds, which is amazing!!Im a fan of the all inclusive pricing, and all the playtime for our active pup. They even have live feed cameras in the play areas so we can watch him while were away, very cool!Im impressed by the cleanliness of this facility, its very uniform. The crates and play areas are superior to any that Ive seen so far, even the small crates are pretty big w/ raised beds in all the cages, big and small - two in the suites and a TV, plus a camera so we could see him in that room too.Overall - VERY excited about bringing him back here!!

I have 2 very energetic and friendly lab pups . I came across camp bow wow on my month (+) long internet search. I liked what I saw, especially the fact that dogs must have all proper documentation and have a free meet and greet prior to any kind of visit. I brought my dogs for a meet and greet session and loved it just as much as they . I really like camp bow wow for the Access to cameras , Dogs come home happy and tired , Indoor and outdoor play areas , Feeding schedules , Boarding if necessary , Flexible hours , easily adjust to last minute changes, Friendly staff , Fair pricing , Great care. You won’t regret it!!

Weve only had our dog in for an interview session so far, but the facility was attractive, clean, and a good size, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our puppy had a great time while she was there, and my wife and I appreciate that BowWow insists on a dog behavior/interaction check before accepting new campers. Well be boarding our dog in March and will see about updating the review after our girl has spent a few days there...

My boy loves Camp Bow Wow! He gets so excited every time I mention going to play with his friends. The staff is great and always friendly. Dropping off and picking up is always quick and easy. They have video cameras in the playyards which is nice so that you can see that you pooch is behaving and when he starts to tire out. Also great for a little comic relief, some of these pups are very funny! Would highly recommend Camp Bow Wow if your looking to socialize your pooch and get him some exercise in a safe environment.

We had a very pleasant doggy-day care experience with Camp Bow Wow. Interview process was easy. Facility was clean and spacious. People were friendly to humans and dogs alike. And webcams! They truly provide what every modern day doggy-day care should - unfortunately, not every day care does. Camp Bow Wow really seems to get it. We’ve been coming to Camp Bow Wow Hicksville for about 7 years now. Owners are amazing and clearly love animals. Many of the same staff over these 7 years. My dogs go crazy when we pull onto the street it’s on because they are so excited to know they are going there. We have daycared and boarded and it’s always been a positive experience. When we got our second dog 6 years ago, she had been abused as a puppy before we got her. She as very fearful and we didn’t think it would work out since she was terrified (and appeared aggressive) with strangers. We did the interview and they gave her time to relax. They were amazing with her and she loves everyone there. We highly recommend them- your dog will love it!

First off, my initial calls and requests for information were answered promptly and I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and friendliness! When I arrived, my expectations were exceeded- the facility is lovely. Great decor, love all the screens and streaming video for checking on the dogs, and every room was extremely clean, bright and welcoming. I loved the kitchen, and the attention to detail as well as the grooming area and cabins. My dog Sophie was well taken care of and I would absolutely recommend CBW to anyone who was seeking daily care as well as long term boarding.

My dogs enjoy campbow wow i have been taking my dogs for over 10 years. several dogs. they have never hesitated to walk in and that shows me they must enjoy their time

I love that the rooms have both indoor and outdoor spaces. The indoor looks a little smallish from the camera, but the outdoor space helps offset it. I love the boarding accommodations set-up, and that the cameras are on in the boarding rooms overnight.Well definitely be visiting again for play dates and looking forward to boarding in the future :-)

My husband and I needed to find a place to board our dogs when we were out of town. I pass Camp Bow Wow every afternoon on the way home. I decided to stop in. Everyone at the front desk was helpful and offered to give me a tour of the facility. I cannot tell you how clean the camp is! I was impressed, not only with its cleanliness, but also with the manner in which the dogs are treated and the organization of facility. My dogs went for their initial visit. They had a blast. We are thrilled to have a safe, friendly and clean place to leave our four legged family members for a visit or a vacation.

My 7 mo. old German Shepherd, attend a 3 hour evaluation at Camp Bow Wow at no charge to see if she was capable of interacting with other large dogs. She passed and has returned on several occasions for 1/2 a day. Having 2 Westies at home that played well together, I felt that the Shepherd was not being included and needed large dogs to play with... She comes out happy and tired. I love the way the staff greets us and monitors the play areas both in person and monitors in the lobby for all to see.I would not hesitate to recommend this Camp to all.

My dog absolutely loves going to camp! I love that they know him by name and greet him as soon as we walk in. Everyone is friendly and professional. When I pick him up he is so exhausted he can barely keep his eyes open! He typically will come home, eat and is out for the night! Even the next day he is tired so taking him to camp is definitely worth it.

Nice staff and I like the webcam option they offer to be able to check in throughout the day. Very flexible staff who can accommodate to your situation.

My dog loves it there... the staff, playtime, everything. He gets more excited to go to Camp Bow Wow than he does to see me when I get home. He even knows the car route now and gets super excited. I love being able to check the online video and seeing him have a great time. Plus, everyone is very friendly.

From the staff that greets you w a smile at the door you know right away that they care for each and every dog that either goes just for the day or On extended stay.We have done both w our Ginger. She loves going to Camp and seeing all her friends and loves it more when she gets to stay overnight or for a few days. I leave w a peace of mind knowing that she is getting loving care from the staff and having fun playing w all the friendly dogs. I can also watch her on one of the camper cams they have which is great as well.

My dog Duke loves going to doggy daycare. Hes a shy dog but he loves the staff and always comes home happy and tired. Weve done a half day (5hrs) and full-day and hes a happy pup either way! Highly recommend. Especially now that ppl are working from home and kids are home all day. Its a nice break for the dogs!

Honestly we took Duke to Pet Smart first and it was awful they had my 80 lb Lab with 10 lb dogs. It made no sense and only one employee working with all the dogs. Long story short it was awful and my dog wasn’t able to play with other dogs. We took him here the following day and I couldn’t be happier between the employees, the environment, and the quality this camp is worth every penny! They even are helpful with me when they found out that I was 6 months pregnant they have been super accommodating offering to get my crazy dog in and out of the car. Thank you from Duke and the Gustafson Family!

Outstanding! Very clean facility and welcoming staff. Only two complaints.... 1) my dog has made it clear she would prefer to spend the day at camp than with me and 2) After four 12 hour days of nonstop play, she isnt exhausted, shes in shape and ready for more!! Camp Bow Wow is my pugs’ favorite place to play or stay overnight. They make so many friends and absolutely adore the counselors. What I love is the app with the cameras so I can watch them when I miss them, the suites, the incredible, caring, and professional staff, and the clean and well-maintained facility. I wouldn’t board my furkids anywhere else!

My puppy Snowy the westie loved it! She went for her 3 hour interview and had a ball. She loved the staff and made some puppy friends too! I LOVED that I could watch her as she played while I was at work. Her tail was wagging the whole time! They really seem to care about the dogs. The facility was very clean and not very wet dog smelling either! When we got her home she walked around the house crying looking for all her new friends! She cant wait to go back.

Best treat in the world is when Onyx gets to go to camp for the day. She has been going to Camp Bow Wow for 3+ years. She goes there happily and comes home exhausted. And we all know that a tired dog is a well behaved dog. Highly recommend!

We went for our pups assessment last weekend. Everyone was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable about dog behavior and health. Place was very clean as well and pricing is reasonable. Will be taking her hopefully this weekend.

Camp Bow🐾Wow has great staff and facilities. I use it mainly for daycare and love the option to buy bundles for half day or full day daycare. I highly recommend them.

I took my puppy here for a trial visit and cant wait for the next time she gets to go. Every person I encountered on the staff were amazing and so caring. I especially loved tuning in to watch her play via the app - it put me at ease!

Friendly and caring staff. Camp BW team knows all the names of all the dogs. Preston is always happy to run in to play with his friends and comes home exhausted. Sam was extremely attentive to my pup Lloyd. He called me twice to let me know he was acting a little funny (he had a little cough we later found out, not the camps fault at all). I appreciate the staff really keeping an eye on my pup, gives me a strong piece of mind while at work.

Social environment where dogs can run and play instead of being in kennels for the majority of the day. Staff pay super attention to details and really care about the dogs well being. You can see the excitement of staff when dealing with the pets. We also loved the ability to see our dogs playing via webcams and an easy-to-use app.

First time using a doggie daycare. Informed staff that my dog is a pup (although she is large), a bit nervous around new people but overall a friendly playful dog. Upon watching the cameras all day, I did not like seeing how they removed her from an area pulling her collar or when i went to pick her up that she was pulled out from under a lightweight slide by a leash. They did move the slide a bit but could have used better tactics such as a treat, etc to get her out rather than pulling her by her leash/collar. When she came to me she smelled as though she was dipped in engine exhaust....so on top of a new stressful situation she now had to get a bath which she isnt too fond of. Staff told me we need to work on her people skills......she goes to puppy training.....maybe the staff needs more patience. I would have expected more from such a positively reviewed pet daycare.

Teddy LOVEs coming to Camp Bow Wow! Its great that there is always supervision for the pups and that they can play outside! My only suggestion is that I feel like Teddy is SO obedient and potty trained he doesnt go potty on the turf ... not sure if any other dogs experience this issue?

I sent my dog there for boarding just for one night. My dogs stuff was returned drenched in pee. He had scratches all over his body and he overall seemed off returning home. I don’t recommend this daycare. Think twice before sending your dog there.

I had been to three different Camp Bow Wow sites in different states before: Michigan, Wisconsin and NY. My experience were always positive, so I tried this site in Hicksville again when I moved to NY recently.Unfortunately, this was not a positive one. The other places in MI and WI were cleaner, larger and cheaper. My fur baby always came home cheerful, excited and clean. For this Hicksville one, upon pickup, I received a depressed, anxious, filthy dog with an obnoxious smell (like urine + feces). He never had accident at home before, but upon coming home, he had #1 accidents, always appeared anxious, depressed and startled easily, very much like an animal under post-traumatic stress. (I know how post-traumatic stress disorder looks like as I treat this illness.)I am very disappointed with this visit in NY. I have yet to lose faith in the franchise but will not visit this same site again. Now I only hope I can find a better CBM to take care of my baby when I am away next time.

Dropped Ryker and Percy off at 9 am for their interview. It was super to see their interaction with the other dogs they were spending the morning with on the video cam. They slept very well when we left. I think they had a stimulating few hours!

The place smell clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We will have our dog board in August... maybe it can go to a 5 star after that..

I drove out from NYC to do a workshop in Syosset and needed to leave my guy rather than take him to the meeting. I reached out ahead of time, filled out my first time visitor information online and emailed it all back to them before I arrived. I cannot emphasize just how NICE these people were. Like the old Wizard of Oz line, Huxley, I have a feeling were not in New York City anymore. They were welcoming and smart about how they introduced Hux to the other dogs, including having a monitor where (nervous parent like kids first day of school) I pretended I wasnt watching as he got comfortable with the other dogs. I have always hassled finding him a babysitter when I travel, but I think from now on Im going to swing out to these folks and drop him off on my way to the airport. If there was an 11 rating I would give it to them.

The facility is inviting and always kept in the best shape. The prices are reasonable and you will often pay just as much to hire a dog walker for 30 minutes. They truly have you and your dogs best interest in mind. I am thankful that Meadow has a place to socialize and get exercise while I work.

The staff at Camp Bow Wow are very friendly and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and the playrooms are staffed to ensure all dogs are supervised. The staff really made my rescue, who is not always comfortable with strangers and other dogs, feel comfortable. She was timid during the interview process but soon warmed up and came home exhausted after her first overnight stay! GREAT SERVICE! ITS EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR.

Love the convenience and how close it is to home and that u never have to make an appointment u can just drop off. Love the camera feature so I can watch my pup play. And appreciate them separating the dogs by weight so I know my dog is safe playing with his own size. And I feel very comfortable with his safety knowing that there is an interview process to be accepted to attend camp bow wow. Reasonable pricing & friendly faces

Someone always answers the phone and they are pleasant and more than happy to speak w you. They really listened to my mother and I and our concerns about our shy/ slightly skiddesh rescue. After the temperment test, they had us wait for a bit to see how he did in camp atmosphere. I could see in the cameras that he was okay. They reassured us they would contact us if our pup wasn’t happy. I told them I would like to call and see how he did, and have their opinion/input on how he would tolerate it further and they couldn’t have been more pleasant and trusting. They went above and beyond for me, my mother and of course my pup!! They have the right formula for success.It’s fun watching the pets on the cameras. As well as the certified counselors. I watched often, and what I saw was actually above and beyond what I expected. The counselors were ALWAYS attentive to the pups and their safety, there was ALWAYS a counselor present in each room, they quickly cleaned up messes, they were NEVER on their phones (can’t stand) and last but not least, my absolute favorite, was how often they would be seen interacting w the pups. Petting them, walking by and giving them a pat, bending over and ruffling their hair lovingly etc… other pups would come running over and they would pet them all. I was showing my friends the cameras, and every time I was showing a friend, there was always a counselor petting the pup or sitting them with them on the bridge, and everybody just thought it was the coolest thing. Good job camp bowwow and thank you. You guys were really awesome, all of you, I just wish that you weren’t so far from us.

Love this place, My Molly is always so excited when I ask her if she wants to go to camp. She comes home tired and happy. The staff is amazing!! We boarded her when we went on vacation and they sat with her while she ate in the morning and night because she likes company when she eats. I love that I can check on her with the cameras on my phone. So glad we found this place!!
