Lucky Paws Pet Grooming

Don’t ever bring your dog to this place. The groom for my shih tzu was supposed to be $75 with $10 off coupon. I was charged $95.90 they added $10 charge and told me my dog was matted. My dog was not matted. Oh and my dog came out all chopped up. No puppy cut. She looks worse than she went in.

If you’d love an amazing groomer… Go to Victoria. Her work is like the midas touch. She always does incredible work. She’s very careful &’ my dog absolutely loves her. I’ve went to other groomers &’ my dog is only comfortable with her. The price is worth the groom in my opinion 🤍

Let me just say if I could give this place a 0 star I would. My appointment was for 10:30 am which my pups arrived before his appointment time. At 2pm I decided to call and ask how much longer I was told they had an aggressive dog and they don’t know and he just had a bath, I showed up at 4pm because by this time I was totally frustrated how do you have an appointment time at 10:30am and bath him at 2pm and not even have the decency to call and let me know what is going on. Upon entering I could hear the young lady in the front screaming at a whimpering dog to Shut Up she then comes out and ask “you didn’t hear that did you” and that its a matted dog which I know my pups isn’t. I said to her is he finished? She just knotted her head no. By now I’m furious its now pass 4pm and he’s still not done I said to her how do you have a 10:30am appointment and not bath him then? I even told her to call me with any issues I would have taken him back and bring him when you have availability. I said to her I just want him back give me him as is because this is ridiculous. The other one comes out and said well you’ll have to pay didn’t even have the decency to apologize. I said I’m not paying you anything she then says well your not getting your dog back! I then had to call the police to get my pups back, can you believe this the nerve of her This place is the most unprofessional I’ve ever dealt with only God knows what they do with these poor pups. I booked a grooming not a daycare

Tia was always wonderful I dont know how this company can use reviews from Bark Central? They are riding off her good name. I tried in person to make an appointment and after watching them interact with the dogs and the way they spoke to me I chose NOT to let them cut my two Westies. Tia if you see this text me, Ill come to you.

I’ve searched 3 years for a groomer who would listen. Tia did a fantastic job. She cut my dog exactly the way I asked. Short ears and face not cookie cutter where every dog’s cut is the same. My dog looks so cute and smells so good. Tia is wonderful!!!!

Although my appointment time was pushed back, Tia still made time to accommodate my Maltese. I am a new customer and will definitely be returning. She did an awesome and quick job with my dog. Thank you Tia.

Great staff, affordable & quality work. I have been bringing my dogs to Tia for 30 years. Beagle, Bassett hounds & my current, Mini Bernadoodle. I wouldnt go anywhere else.

Guinness has been going to Bark Central for 12 yrs now, and Killian before him for 4 yrs. Both standard poodles. I wont let anyone else handle my dogs other than Tia. Wonderful people with a full knowledge of dogs. She was the one to find a problem that has since corrected itself with Guinness. And shes even handled my crazy huskies too!!!!

Called 30 min prior to get my difficult chihuahuas nails clipped and she welcomed me right away! Very convenient and professional. Will be back again for my pups grooming.

I would give 5🌟but only because of Victoria NOT BECAUSE of Lucky paws , they don’t even deserve 1 star .that being said I brought my dogs to this location when Victoria was grooming and my whole experience was wonderful, my pup loved her spa day and she looked fabulous and smelled delicious for weeks after her grooming. Then Victoria left ,,,,I finally found her again at CANINE COTTAGE 819 Carmen Ave westbury NY … My beautiful fur baby was so happy to see her again . We are even happier to know that Victoria may be reopening one of the closed Lucky paw locations 🐾♥️ I had to redo my original glowing review so others would know .thank you Victoria

After Victoria left I had two terrible groom appointments.First they lied and told me Victoria is off. I sent my husband with a picture, completely ignored it. There were long and short pieces…all uneven. Her face wasn’t even touchedSecond time better but not worth the $95. Do not go there.

First this is no longer Bark Central. I have been a loyal customer of Tias Bark Central for at least 15 years . When it closed we took our dog to Lucky Paws on S. Broadway because we heard Tia was working there. Tia cut our dogs hair and I was charged the usual price. I took our dog back to Bark Centrals old location now Lucky Paws and they wanted to charge me 50% more for the same service. When I asked why so much the reply I got was thats why Tia went out of business. The person at the front desk did lower the price $9 but thats still 35% more than I was paying. If thats the case why did they charge me the usual price at the S. Broadway location?I was pleased with the cut but not the price.

One of the groomers Layla was very disrespectful and cut my dogs body badly. As soon we came in, she didn’t like that my dog didn’t have a sweater and kept lecturing like we were little kids. We told her to be carful with our dog and she didn’t. Layla left red marks on my dog and said it was allergies. In reality, it was cuts on the body. I don’t recommend her. even try to connect the owner but she didn’t answer me.
