We have been taking our fur baby to the Howard Beach location for a few months now and must say that we are quite satisfied with the outcome. Our Teddy looks awesome and he likes David very much. Took my new puppy here for his first grooming appointment. I had a wonderful experience. Leo took amazing care of him and I loved how cute he looked with his new haircut. It was so quickly done in only an hour. He smelled amazing after and was even gifted a cute bandana. I will be returning!! Only thing to note, if driving to drop off your pup, parking was very limited in the morning as it is located near a train station.

They handle your fur babies with great care and kindness. My favorite professional pet groom is Leo. Hes the best. My dog loves him .

I wish I could give this place 10 stars. Not only did they take my dog last minute on a holiday weekend the owner was super nice and very gentle with her. I am so glad that my old groomer wasn’t available because moving forward this is my new place. Not only was the owner of every professional you could see that she enjoys what she does. It also had been the first grooming place I ever been that actually doesn’t smell like a grooming place it actually smelled pretty nice. The store was super clean and she was also very quick. Definitely a place to go to groom your dog.

I love my pups long coat but after almost having a heatstroke and scaring me to death it was time for a short trim! I explained to the groomer that I wanted as short as possible as long as she looks pretty and to keep sort of a poodle look (she’s a collie-doodle). They did an amazing job and Luna came out from the back all happy and excited and still jumping on the groomer lol.

Great services! My dog Louie is perfectly groomed every time. The location is convenient and the store is well maintained. Very clean and smells great!

My dogs paws were still dirty and so was his coat fur .im pretty sure they only threw fragrance on my dog…be aware of there service please

I brought my dog Daisy, and Leo gave her a bath, clipped her nails, and expressed her glands. I told them I was very concerned for her quips, as shes a nervous new dog and they listen to me. She wasnt nicked, and looked great! They showed concerned for my dog which at the end of the day is what I really want. Highly recommended for anyone in the area!

My poor Bailey was in Desperate need of a grooming, his groomer just couldnt get him in! So I tried this place and wala... NYC Grooming Palace to the Rescue! Thanks so much he has a new home!

First time here and the groomers here are compassionate, understanding and very caring. It was my pups first time, I didn’t want her caged and I was very worried leaving her, the staff was very understanding and assured me that she would be taken care of. I picked her up and I was blown away, they did such an amazing job of cutting her hair, she looks beautiful and smells amazing. Affordable prices, I will definitely be back, thank you.

As a first time pet owner, bringing our puppy to be groomed for the first time was nerve racking, but NYC Grooming Palace was amazing! There answered all my question and made our puppy look absolutely gorgeous. The pricing was extremely reasonable for all the services that were provided and the employees were extremely loving towards the animals. Our puppy came back so happy and didn’t even want to leave. This is the best place to go to if your looking for a groomer that provides amazing service.

The service and staff here are fantastic! I have taken my dogs to several other places and have never been satisfied with the service or the staff and now I have finally found a place were my expectations were met. They treated my dogs great and they came out looking so cute and better than expected. The scent of their shampoo is great. Theyre prices are really reasonable. I would recommend everyone to bring their dogs here because you would really be satisfied and happy with the results.

My dog got a skin infection after her groom and when my husband went to pick her up, they gave him the wrong dog. Also, the price they tell you over the phone isn’t the correct price bc the last doesn’t take in consideration the add on (if any). Also, they only have one groomer.

I called to get pricing for a sphynx cat bath. The woman on the phone said $89 and it’ll increase if any behavioral issues during the session. I asked to pay before and the woman said I can pay after. I left and came back to pick up my cat and the woman said $152 in which she’s didn’t give a break down of the price and just said her manager gave that price it was $146 plus tax. Please give the correct price before a client wastes there time coming in for a price they believed over the phone to then increasing the amount when they are checking out I understand it’s a business but ripping off a paying customer by lying about pricing and having them spend more is horrible. Lesson learned!

This grooming business deserves so much recognition ! I take my golden doodle here every few months and the women who work here are outstanding ! I am so grateful being that my dog can be very snappy and aggressive. My dog comes out looking perfect, smelling fresh, and with a smile on his face. I cannot thank them enough !

Best groomers in town! They’re open 6 days a week and work with your schedule to get you an appointment that works for you and your dog. The scent of the month is always phenomenal, and your dog will leave pampered and smelling fresh. This is the best pet spa that gives you the bang for your buck. Your furry friend is in good hands with Liz and Angela and of course the amazing groomers! Love this place and love this team!

The people here are very unprofessional. They booked an appointment without mentioning to me that I had to bring my pet’s vaccination paperwork. Then someone named Elizabeth gave me the nastiest rudest look like I should’ve known better. She’s a real smart one 🥸 Typical trashy people who don’t enjoy the business of pet grooming. I wouldn’t trust them with my dog and you shouldn’t. Your dog deserves the best quality service and attention. No one should settle for less.

This was my first time bringing my dog to a groomer since we adopted her. I was very specific that I didn’t want them to shave her but instead wanted a trim and that is exactly what they did. Dottie was so happy when I picked her up which is a great sign that she was treated well. They were so nice, welcoming and friendly. When I picked her up the groomer explained that her glands were “taken care of” which was news to me..... every day you learn something new. I would definitely recommend this business and will be returning again.

I have many reservations when it comes to groomers (lackluster experiences elsewhere). My dog has to bad hind legs (surgery pending), so she needs a little extra time and tenderness. The entire staff and atmosphere were amazing.For the first time in a long, my dog left the groomers with her tail wagging and happy.THANK YOU for an amazing experience!!

This is the best, most friendliest, caring and cute little place i have ever brought my dog to. He was in and out in a reasonable time and smelled amazing for days. his fur was so soft and the hair cut was superb. as usual with other places he didn’t want to go in but when i came to pick him up he was too busy sniffing around and begging the groomer to pet him to care that i was even there! this makes me feel that he truly felt comfortabe and safe in the hands of them. we will for sure be back in a few weeks for another appointment. you can’t find a better place then this! thanks girls for such a lovely experience for my baby! did i mention the spa package? yes the spa package! they also have the option of cages and cageless! i could go on about how amazing this place is but you’ll just have to come in and see for yourself!

Great service here! The groomers are very friendly and work in a timely fashion. Truly the best in the neighborhood with fair pricing. My dogs are very comfortable and I would recommend anyone come here. Plus the dogs come home with cute little bandanas every time !

They’re incredibly patient and get the job well done! my dog always comes out looking so cute afterwards and always smells so good and fruity! my dog is an anxious pup and he usually gets really anxious and jumpy on the table so i’m really impressed on how well they cut his hair since he can be kinda difficult to work with sometimes but the staff here really do a great job on him and take excellent care of my pup. Thank you for being so patient and for providing us with tips on how to help with bmo’s anxiety! really appreciate you all!!

They were able to offer me service the same day I called. My maltese is 8 months and had some matted hair I was afraid he might end up with some bald spots. But nooooooo he was left looking great, clean , smelling great and fur was awesome he feels so soft and No bald spots! Great service, very nice staff and reasonable pricing. MILO will be going back for a retouch!

Wasnt dealing directly with my dogs groomer but because he has moles she had to shave him carefully and not over the moles. I appreciate when I spoke to her to help me understand this. We moved and the prices are nothing like this place... Ive been with this groomer for years and she always took care of my dog. Thank you

I have a very difficult dog to groom . . . not friendly to say the least and could be horrible to handle. They did a beautiful job and did not complain about Charlis attitude. They made a shaggy, wired haired terrier look adorable and invited me to bring her back! I would highly recommend them to everyone I know.

Great grooming place. Caring and lovely staff. They work well with nervous dogs. My puppy always comes back happy and doesnt want to leave from there, thats always a good sign.

It took me a few months to find a groomer that can deal with my Skye. I am so happy that I found Lucky Paws, Liz is amazing my Skye looks beautiful and happy. Thank you Liz and Lucky Paws. If anyone is looking for a groomer this is the place.

Took my dog to NYC Grooming Palace and my wife and I were very happy with the results. The crew is amazing and very friendly and done a great job with the grooming. I would recommend this place to all my friends.

This place is fairly priced and my dog came back smelling very good. Her fur was super soft and y dog was very happy. I recommend to anyone bring their dog here or pet for grooming needs.

Charged me $30 to trim my cats nails when I thought it was $15…. not going back ever again.

This place is one of the best places so far in howard beach to get your animals groomed ! My dog Shiloh was so comfortable as soon as he walked into this salon for the first time,he came home looking and smelling great. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!! They truly love animals 🐶

Jeff was absolutely fantastic. Brought over my golden retriever. And they did a beautiful job! He came out of there looking like a million bucks. They did exactly what I asked for and needed for his shedding.100% I would recommend them!

I called 1 hour in advance to see if they had availability to trim my cats nails, they told me yes come in that they can. I come in and both the employees tell me they don’t cut cats nails and that one is allergic and the other doesnt cut cats nails. Wasted my time, poor communication and no understanding of my frustration

I used this place three times over the last year for a full groom for my 10 lb dog. The first two times in 2023 I was pretty happy with the service and cut. In March 24 I took my dog in and they added nail filing without asking me (and price had doubled). The groomer also did not follow instructions to leave the hair longer on the head and tail but cut everything short. When I asked why, she proceeded to argue that this was better. But that wasn’t her decision. Besides, the cut is not even at all and as it grows out it looks terrible. And I’m not that picky. But unfortunately the attitude and bad cut cost them my business. I will not be returning.

They did such a good job grooming my pup. Will 100% be going back.

My Yorkey today had a terrible experience i bring her for a trim, i specifically say ..dont cut her hair short, just even it, and give a stile when i went to pick her up, was terrible, the lady or better say the butcher damage all the hair in my yorkie she even cut her mustache, those little hair around the mouth , i tell to everyone if you really care about your dog dont bring your pet to this place its terrible

NYC GROOMING is an amazing place to get your dog pampered, the staff are friendly genuinely loving to what they do my Charlie is a Pomeranian Shitzu and he always comes out of there looking like a stud and happy to be well cleaned, prices are reasonable and they are always accommodating to setting up appointments you can make.

Wish I could leave a review more in line with the others. Our dogs hair was cut much shorter than we asked (and we brought in example pictures of what we wanted and what we didnt). We were lectured about how our dogs hair was unruly and unmanageable (its not; my wife brushes our boy every other day at minimum) and told that was the reason it was cut short. The package we initially wanted only had scented shampoo, which my wife doesnt care for, so we were upsold into a $150 spa package with oatmeal (apparently the only unscented option). In addition, the credit card machine was broken so the only payment option was cash and our dogs appointment also took almost four hours in total. The staff wasnt really apologetic about any of the above either. Any one of these things by itself wouldve been forgivable, but taken together, wed rather spend our money elsewhere - particularly at that price.
