How adorable is my dog?! Dominique did an AMAZING job! I’ve already recommended her to everyone of my friends that have a dog. My baby came back smelling delicious and feeling great. Usually when I bring him to new places he ignores us when he gets home but when he got back from his grooming appt he had kisses for everyone lol! If I could give her 10 stars I would. You’ve found a new life long customer! 😃

Dom is so kind and considerate. She knows what she is doing and has a clear passion for animals. The customer service is amazing compared to some other dog grooming places. My dog looked amazing and was so happy. I can tell she wasn’t stressed or nervous. I’m gonna keep going back because Dominique did such a great job! ☺️

I finally found what I have been searching for. Dominique loves what she does and it shows, in all the beautiful cuts and colors. She knows her stuff. I have taken my baby to several groomers and he always came home scared like he was mistreated. That has not happened not one time since bringing him to her, and hes not the easiest dog to groom.The cuts are always consistent and he always smells so good. She accommodates us even when she is totally booked. Finding a good groomer is not easy so happy we found her. Her prices are reasonable too.

First time I went to see Dominique and I am so impressed with what she did! She made my baby brand new. You can tell she loves what she does and takes care of each dog as if it were her own. Answered every text and phone call without any complaint. It took a few hours more than expected but that’s okay because it was worth the wait!I will be a recurring customer for sure! If you love your dog as much as I do, take her no where else but to Dominique. Thank you again ❤️.

OMG Dominique came highly recommended and I must say she certainly did not fail.... My poor fur baby was extremely matted and needed some serious TLC! She took Great car of him! She was efficient, my baby looked absolutely amazing when we picked him up and he was extremely happy while in her care! I have certainly recommended her to all my family and she will most definitely have a forever client with my family!!

Dominique is a wonderful person, kindness and love to not only the animals she grooms, but to customers as well. I arrived an hour early for my appointment for Ollie and she was soooo sweet to take him early!! I felt so blessed knowing she treated my dog with so much attention, care and love which is something I always look forward to in services. I will continue to support Dominique and her services and everyone should! Black businesses are to always be supported and not just a trend. Also, make sure you tip as she deserves it! Like its already wonderful to give a $25 fee in advance of your overall total. 🙏🏻💛 It’s also great that she also implements late fees, policies and rules to keep her business flowing to minimize any hassles. Keep it up!!

We had such a hard time finding a groomer that cut Kayla neatly and to our liking. I was referred to Dominique by a family friend. Right off the bat she was very sweet and professional. I admittedly was a bit nervous, but Dominique did not fail! She did an amazing job! Kayla looked and smelled great.She also offers drop off and pick services, which is amazing being a mom with a toddler.She will definitely be our permanent groomer!

I’ve been taking my dear Happiness to Dominique for over a year now and I’ve been following her wherever she goes! From Petco to her own setup to her own store front! What I love the most is the care and love she gives to my puppy and to all of them. And it’s super affordable and she’s very honest with her pricing. So I highly recommend that you bring your fluffy companions to Dominique!

First time i ever went to her. Not a person who trust other people reviews. But shes one of the best groomers around. She got me in quick even though she was busy, made time for me and got me in and out with ease. I have a husky and usually people have problem getting her whole grooming done. But she got me in and out in 2-3 hours and my dog looks clean and smells perfect. Definitely recommend

I discovered Dominique from Cuts for Pups by word of mouth and also via social media. The shop location is in a remote area and convenient to get to either by car and is asesiblele to those who may rely on public transportation. From the booking on line appointment was straight forward, a lot of steps well worth the effort, I arrived on time for my appointment, the ambiance of the shop window is inviting, bright and full of life. I was greeted by Dominique and her assistant, they both were professional, attentive and compassionate to the needs of my furbaby. Dominique assured me that my pet is in good hands and that she would take good care of him while in her care. Dominique explained the process and how long the service would take. The assistant sent a text messages 15 minutes prior to the completion of service. When I arrived Dominique was finishing up with her final touches to Sammy. I was pleased with the end result, the hair cut was precise and suited my per perfectly and he smelled amazing. I purchased a grooming kit for $20, which contained a vent brush, a comb, and nail clipper which will come in handy for at home maintenance. The invoicing process was painless, Dominique accepts Zell, and CashApp as methods of payments, which is a secure method for payment. Dominique and her assistant also informed me that they entered my information for a raffle. Thank you for a pleasant experience. I will visit this groomer again, and I reccomend Cuts for Pups by Dominique🐾🐾🐾🐾

She’s an excellent dog groomer. I take my Madison to Dominique to get all her grooming needs. I love her work if your looking to get your dog pampered Lavish life dog grooming is where you should take your fur baby.

This is probably the best groomer in NY she really takes care of your dog. My dog came in after never having been groomed and now I don’t even think I have the right dog. Thank you so much for everything. I was also happy that I could drop the dog off and pick him up close to closing so I could handle all my business. I felt my dog was completely safe and had no worries thank you so much and I will be back.

I don’t usually write reviews but from disappointment with how these people handled things from just a harmless phone call I have to share my experience. The woman who gave my dog a cut was nice and it was a stress-free process. But then after that appt, my dog started itching and biting had irritation in various spots. So I examined her and I found out she has fleas. I have two dogs neither of them has had fleas before the visit. The one that went for a cut here all of sudden has them now. I’m not sure if it is because of this place but I would like to say that it is a big coincidence. I decided to give them a call. I was very calm and I didn’t use an accusing tone. I was just giving them a heads up. The same woman who groomed my dog was on the other line. Suddenly she wasn’t so nice anymore. Very rude and cold. Instead of suggestions on what I could do to treat my dog, she blamed me and was dismissive about the situation. Why does it take one thing to go wrong for you to lose your cool? She could’ve been more professional about it. I was excited to support a groomer in my community but I will have to look for better business elsewhere.Update: They also harassed me by text when I posted this review.

I booked a second appointment with her. I wanted to support a black owned business. The morning of theAppointment I asked the groomer if she could do the style I wanted on a particular style. She responded in a harsh tone, the style I wanted didn’t make sense and it was contradicting. She said what I was asking her made no sense. Then we arrived at our appointment the store front wasn’t open she wasn’t even there. Needless to say I cancelled my appointment and told her I was not dealing with her unprofessional actions. Instead of working her customer service she went on Instagram on her stories to bad mouth the entire transaction. Being a professional is not something she knows how to do. And she is about $20 more expensive then other local groomers. Go somewhere else she is not ready to be a business owner she doesn’t know customer service 101.

Dom was extremely professional and punctual. Dom groomed my 4 year old pit today and this is by far the happiest i have ever seen royal after a day of being pampered. royal was all smiles smelling amazing. dom did an amazing job deshedding her and cleaned her teeth and ears. thank you Dom, we look forward to seeing you again. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The way she loves animals, is out of this world. The way the animals love her back, you would think she is a pet whisperer. The way she repair and recreate the looks of dogs is Phenomenal and your dog wouldn’t want anyone else but her to but they’re stylist... thanks so much

Unprofessional, with a nasty unpleasant attitude. I’m worried about the safety and treatment of the dogs in her care . Please work on your customer service . This is the same place as the paw parlor, be warned. If I knew, I would have never came. Customers are overcharged and owner has attitude. You’ve been warned.

I was looking for a long term groomer that would take amazing care of my baby. I looked up groomers in my area and I found Dominique. She’s honestly the best and I’m so happy I found her. She really takes care of your dog and takes her time. Dominique is such a sweetheart and I’ve recommended her to multiple people that are looking for groomers. Bring your fur babies to her!! You won’t regret it. Also, if you’re on Instagram follow her !! The before & after pictures of fur babies are very cute.

During this quarantine I’ve struggled to find a groomer for my baby, Everyone has a month+ waiting list but Dominique took us in on a same day appt, which I’m more than grateful for. My pup look gorgeous, smells amazing and I can’t stress it enough she was cut so evenly! I can tell she took her time and for the first time in a while I’m very impressed! My sweet fur baby was in VERY bad shape due to this pandemic. I always took her to get groomed at one of the franchise locations but they have yet to reopen. I was desperate to find anyone who was open at this point. I came across Cuts For Pups and was rather pleased by Dominiques work via Instagram.I was blown away with the service!!! My dog has NEVER looked this good. I’m so glad I found her. No one else will ever groom my dog!!! Dominique has magical hands and a sweet spirit to match. You can tell she’s really passionate and takes pride in her work.

I was so tired of making appointments at Petsmart in Valley Stream and Oceanside only to have them call me the day of to cancel because this person or that person cancelled.I googled dog groomers in my area and came across this gem!! Dominique not only professional, but she is such a cool chick!! She works with my schedule and her signature bows/ties are the perfect touch!!!!Charlie looks so handsome and smells amazing... thank you Dominique you are such a Godsend!!!
