Hilton Animal Hospital has been my fur babies only Vets. The dedication the staff and Dr s give to these two is outstanding. They answer all questions.when seeking advise I can always count on Hilton. I love that they also send reminders for each pet. Thank you!
Dr. Strom at Hilton Animal Hospital was gentle with my dog and gave a resolution best for my dog and dog & owner. I am thrilled with Dr. Strom and wish I acted faster in switching Vets to Hilton Animal Hospital. Front desk to physician, they are all wonderful. I have every confidence my pet will get genuine care at Hilton.

Everyone Ive met at Hilton has been wonderful, from the front desk to the techs to Dr. Czarnomski. The whole staff is so kind, and Dr. C was soooo incredibly patient with our cat who did NOT want to be there at all. Dr. C worked with us to find a good pharmaceutical cocktail to make sure our Gracie had the least stressful experience possible. Thank you all so much!
If your pet is having an emergency or needs an annual checkup, I highly recommend calling The Hilton Hospital for Animals! I called them and got an appointment for the same day.The staff was super sweet and polite and there was zero wait time which is amazing for an anxious doggy like I have. Also major thank you to the Vet and vet assistant who took care of my baby and made this a very easy and calm experience.
DR. Strom and the staff are amazing. My dog had an obstruction in his intestines, i could not afford the astronomical cost the surgical center estimated, i decided to put my baby to sleep. Dr Strom offered to do the surgery (he doesn’t typically do anymore), at a reasonable rate that i could afford. He gave my boy a chance he otherwise would not have gotten. The staff and Doctor called everyday 2-3 times to give updates. I highly highly recommend them.

Our Alvin who was a patient of the Hilton suffer seizures after hours. Went to a 24 hour facility where he was treated. this morning Alvin was unresponsive and we brought to the Hilton. Hilton refused to see him as that said they were booked. we were the only patients in the waiting room. we brought Alvin back to the 24 hr facility where they had to put him down. Hilton had no regard our Alvin cause we didnt have an appointment.
We are very happy with the care and service from Hilton. We know that SageNoel is in safe hands when she is there .
Dr. C takes such good care of my dog and cat. I also appreciate when she says things like, “you probably don’t need this shot.” Could have easily done it and taken the money, but the dog’s needs and comfort came first. When I find a vet like Dr C, I stick with her.
I take my 2 cats to Hilton Animal Hospital and they get wonderful care. The Vet Techs are gentle and comforting to my cats. Both cats see Dr. Czarnomski and she listens to my concerns and provides valuable feedback on care plans.
Great employees very clean. I have been going here for years. One major issue is my dogs ears are red and he shakes his head constantly. Have been seen by the doctor 4 times paid 4 times purchased 2 different medications and problem not solved. The costs keep up without results. Very dissatisfied!!! Update!! To be fair received a phone call from Dr Straum and he explained that this condition can be ongoing and caused by many factors. After speaking with him I now have a clear understanding of the situation and how to best deal with it. I did not see him on prior visits and never received a clear understanding of this condition at all. The medication is to calm down the symptoms but not a cure.
I have been taking ALL of my cats to Hilton Animal Hospital since way back in the 1990’s. They are a caring group of doctors and office staff. They have recently updated their system to allow you to make your own Wellness appointments on line which is quite convenient. Both doctor Strom & Czarnomski take the time to explain what’s going on with your pet. They have recently brought in another Veterinarian, Doctor Seebaran which I haven’t had the opportunity to meet him yet, but I will one day. They also give Senior discounts.

Staff was unwelcoming & rude.The “manager” had a passive aggressive tone of voice.Wouldnt accommodate me even though I stated I’d be late to my appointment due to traffic.Not sure what kind of office doesn’t want to accommodate new patients but whoever owns this vet place should hire a more welcoming & professional staff. ◡̈

Dr C is the best. She is caring and knowledgeable! My dog was sick and I called Hilton Animal Hospital. she called be back right away and gave me an appointment instantly. She cared about my concerns and my dogs needs. She gave me all the time I needed to answer all my questions. By the time I got home my dog was feeling so much better. I highly recommend Dr.C
Took my dog here for an emergency visit late on a Friday afternoon. I had been calling places all afternoon but none including my regular vet could get her in. Hilton was very busy as well and said no at first but put me on hold to check with the vet (Dr C) . They came back on the line and agreed to treat her. That was wonderful considering they would have to stay a bit late at 5pm on a Friday. Everyone was terrific from the vet to the techs. I would like to actually meet them after Covid restrictions are over.
I have used Hilton over the years with different dogs and cats. Overall they all received excellent care. The staff is caring and empathetic. The doctors are accessible. The facilities clean and well kept. I love the fact that they have great hours during the week and on weekends. They will even book a regular visit during their Sunday morning hours.
Worst job ever!!!!! I was fired/let go wrongfully!!!! I had alittle over a month working here and on my third week while working I was bit by a small dog, back story I had 5 stitches ( thankfully non were pulled out) but where I had stitches the dog bit me causing my cut to re-open my doctor recommended for me to stay out of work for two weeks, but given that I had just started I only took one week! The same day I was getting my stitches removed I was ‘ let go’ because ‘ I didn’t work with the schedule they needed me to’ no one spoke to me about my hours no one gave me a warning asking me if I could change my schedule to work with the hours they needed! A simple I need you to stay till close would of solved the problem but of course because my hours wasn’t the problem but the fact I was hurt and had to file a report so that they would cover my visit to the urgent care ‘ pissed them off ‘ they let me go!!! Don’t get me wrong everyone was nice other then mornings when saying good morning everyone just ignores but as the day went on everyone seemed to wake up alittle more making the place a little more workable and not feeling that uncomfortable feeling of doing something wrong or saying the wrong thing, point of this is for any ‘ new ‘ comers don’t get hurt because they will fire you and blame it on something else, because when I questioned the one that hired me she had nothing to say but had the front desk receptionist answer for her saying “ I’m so sorry I need someone who can work from open till close” at every chance she got when the one who hired me only works 2 days a week! Which I explained I have insurance through the government, and I didn’t want to have them remove me or make me pay for insurance because I have 4 kids under my plan, I was told it was fine that we would work something out so that I could work the full part time hours so that I wouldn’t pop up as full time and have my insurance taken from me, but instead I was ‘ let go ‘ when I was willing to work as many hours as I possibly could with out being full time, they say they are very flexible and understanding and willing to work with you when really they ARE NOT understanding nor flexible to work with you on a schedule that fits right! Although at first I did say full time would be okay, I forgot until reminded by a coworker about government insurance and working full time the changes would mean me paying out of pocket or even possibly not qualifying but of course I was let go instead, very unprofessional
I had the great pleasure of dealing with Dr C. She was very patient, caring, took the time to listen to all of my concerns. Ive gone to other veterinarian practices where it truly seemed that all they cared about is how much money they can pull out of you. Dr C is The complete opposite! I will never go anyplace else, Hilton hospital is fantastic!
Great vet! My mother has been going there for years so when my wife and I needed to find a new vet 5 years ago(our old vet was uncaring and taking advantage of us) we went to Hilton. They have always been great and have taken care of any of our concerns. We had to put one of our dogs down a few years ago and Dr strom was amazing. We have also boarded our dogs there multiple times and they were very well taken care of. I am sad we are moving out of state and can no longer use them.
Ive been a loyal client of Dr. Stroms for nearly 20 years! Ive had 4 dogs in his care from 7weeks until their old age/passing. He has always been part of our family! I cannot compliment him enough! He is easy to speak to and always shows he REALLY cares! His hospital and his staff are hands down the BEST!
Brought my elderly cat in last week for an emergency appointment. They got us in as quickly as possible and were all very kind about calling our retired vet for our cats records. They sent us out to a specialist for further testing that their facility could not perform, and it unfortunately ended up being not so great news. They helped in putting our baby down and made the incredibly difficult process as smooth as possible. Dr. Czarnarski and the staff are super compassionate and kind. I will definitely be transferring my other cat here as well as referring Hilton to friends.
Our Puppy Piper had surgery by Dr C. The care given to her by Dr C and her incredible staff was highly professional and caring. Communication with them concerning the status of Piper was prompt and informative for us. Piper recovered nicely and a week later is back to her normal 7 month old puppy activity. The veterinarians and staff are wonderful. You can get van appointment when needed and there is plenty of parking on site. My rescue dog Lucybis very well taken care of!
We have been bringing our dog here for regular treatments for skin allergies and checkups for about 7 years and are very happy with his care. Staff are friendly and caring. Hes getting older now and had pain in one of his back legs. He was diagnosed with a sprained muscle beginnings of arthritis in his hips. He got some anti inflammation meds and now takes chews to treat him. They were very gentle with him and I really appreciate the care they give.
I have been dealing with the Hilton Hospital for Animals for the past 20 years. Dr. Strum is very knowledgable and extremely caring vet. He listens carefully to my concerns and evaluates my dogs in a thorough manner always keeping the best interest of my pups in mind. Talking with him puts my mind at ease and i know that my 2 mini dachshunds Bobby and Britnee are in great hands. It is comforting to our family that our little furry friends are in good hands and we trust Dr. Strum 100%+ with the care of my pets.Dont want to forget his staff, they are awesome as well. Always ready to help, friendly and courteous.
Brought my rescue cat Midnight in last October (2014), treated me and Midnight as though we were the only ones there. We have gone several times since then for follow up visits, etc., appointment times are adhered to, longest Ive had to wait is about 5 minutes! Have seen several of the doctors there, all of them are awesome, genuinely caring about the pet they are seeing. Never feel rushed, able to ask as many questions as needed. Support staff equally professional. The place is so clean, to the point of spotless!!!! I highly recommend Hilton.
We couldnt find a better staff of caring vets and technicians than those at Hilton. Our two dogs actually like going to the vet! The care and treatment has been excellent and we would highly recommend them to someone in need of a good vet clinic and staff.

Our two furfamily members are very well taken care of by Hilton Hospital and the caring staff. Weve just this past year had to come in for more than just the check up and shots and theyve been empathetic and helpful in treating them and reassuring us. They are not inexpensive, but Ive not found a vet that is inexpensive, they are certainly comparable to most other vets Ive used.At this point we wouldnt trust anyone else to treat our furboys.
I have 2 pure breed dogs and a very young rescue kitten. Each time I visit I am so happy to see the way my pets respond to their visit. Everyone greets them and talks to them. I always know that the reason theses people do what they do is because they love animals. I have come to Hilton since I was a child with my parents pets and then my own pets when I returned to Lynbrook. I have been to other very competent veterinarians but only here did I feel they loved my pet the way I do.
Dr Strom and Dr Czarnomski are excellent! The entire group is fantastic, everyone we have encountered at Hilton has not only been friendly, knowledgeable and professional, but caring and compassionate as well. After dealing with some horrible places in the past, we are so thankfull we found Hilton and would not trust our pets with any other vet / animal hospital. My husband and I highly recommend them to all pet owners!
Hilton has always been the caregiver of choice for our animals. They are always accommodating, kind and helpful when we ask questions. During our most recent visits, they have really helped us find the best care to keep our very loved cat Jacques healthy. We have been with Hilton for 10 years and we would never dream of having any other team care for our animals. Great Job Hilton!!
I was not completely satisfied with some of the matters handled. yes I brought my cat in as an emergency, but when I asked about the care credit policy and they put partial down payment that was required of $900 on an 18 month charge then the other 1200+ on a 6 month plan and refused to work with me then I needed to not bring my cat back as they refused to work on adjusting the payment plan as the care credit advised me they could. so do not be fooled with the ability to have them work with you on these matters. also a few other issues bothered me too but billing process was a HUGH matter as they reviews here were that this vet hospital works with you which I did not see at all
We have been taking our dogs here since the 90s and never had any issues with the staff. They were always kind and caring.However recently my elderly dog had a stroke and is not well. Dr strom was so mean and condescending to me with absolutely NO compassion what so ever. He got annoyed when I asked any questions and snapped at me many times. I was so flabbergasted and shocked. He tried to call me back and explain or some what apologize cause he knew he was wrong but too little too late.I have to stick w this place because they know my baby and he is old and I can’t switch so I will be seeing another vet at the practice. If you are bringing your beloved pet to this place and want to be treated kindly do not see Dr Strom.
They are the worse! I called this animal hospital several times for different reasons and they discuss me. The first time I called I wanted to board my dog, and they stated if hes not a client we cant board him. Ridiculous! I told them I would pay for him to see the vet for a check up but was turned away. The second time I called enquiring on the price of a topical flea and tick medication and the woman stated even before giving me a price, is he a client? I said no, well we cant sale it to you. Why? Its the policy, thats ridiculous, at least Im not buying it from a store. Im trying to purchase it from a Veterinarian. Crazy, rules! I was considering becoming a client but not after this.
Stay Away!!!Poorly managed and incredibly rude staff but good Vets who seem to do more apologizing for their staff then work on your beloved pet. Unless it’s a dire emergency I would definitely not recommend Hilton Animal hospital with how poorly its run. Please before taking your pet there google this establishment and you will find many, many other quite concerning complaints!!!!

Unbelievable people work there, from the front desk, to the doctors and the rest of the staff, they all want the best for you animals and really take the time to explain it all. I can never thank them enough for what they did for me in my desperate situation. They do it all for your pets from surgery to nails with love and compassion and professionalism, this is the right place for you and your animals.
Every time we come to Hilton it is better than the last, and the first and everyone since has been perfect.the doctors know our two pets as if they were their own and treat us like familywe love coming there and will continue in the future.
This practice is owned by Vetcor, a corporation that owns many Veterinary Hospitals. It seems in the last 2-3 years their business model has changed. It appears that they largely want to be Healthy visit and vaccine clinic. Anything even the most remotely complicated they refer you out. One of my dogs required some dental surgery for removal of his Canine tooth on the lower jaw. It was a procedure Dr. Strom had done on 2 of my dogs with no issues. However, we were instead referred to a Veterinary Dentist 35 miles away. Their first appointment was May 10 (this took place 3 weeks ago). We are now using another local vet which is privately owned and does not have a corporate bean counter dictating policy. Its a shame, the people are largely the same but they are obviously marching to the beat of a different drummer.On a final note..over the last 14 months we have had to put 2 of our dogs down. They were both over 12 and had an aggressive cancer. In both instances due to their referral protocol we were with people who we did not know, instead of with the Dr.s and staff we had known for over 10 years. Trust me, it makes a huge difference to say good bye to your petwith people who know you and your pet.

We have been going to them for years with my Shin Tzu, Snow. They always took great care of him. Now at almost 15 years, he had a brief illness and they did as well as possible for him with caring and compassion. We had to have him put down this morning because he was in terrible pain and Dr Strom was wonderful and explained what would happen, and Snow passed peacefully.
My daughter brought our lab here after he was no longer able to walk on his own after an injury. They did not even do an xray on his legs they just diagnosed him with a degenerative spine disease and sent him home. Three weeks later my daughter took him to a vet recommended to me for a second opinion who was shocked at what little they did for him for the price paid. This recommended vet did an xray and found a growth on his leg which now has been biopsied and we are awaiting the results which do not look good. We wasted alot of time thinking he had a spine disease when in fact his spine is fine but is looking like bone cancer. Avoid this place!!!
I cant believe how rude Dr. Stron is!! After having my dog Shadow checked here for about 1 year. My vet decided it would be wise to leave him for 2 days on observation since he has been having diarrhea non stop. I called to find out how my dog was doing to have this man scream at me since the moment I answered the phone! Now I will need to find my dog a new vet that has a sense of treating their costumers with respect.
After having used Hilton Animal Hospital for a good 15 years on and off, I have to finally stop using them. I was ready to stop using them 3 years ago when my 16 year old cat was close to the end and I called them on a Sunday morning to ask to bring her in because she seemed in pain. The girl who answered told me that they were closing soon, but she would squeeze me in the next day. Once asked what I should do for my cat since she was in pain, her answer was that she was sorry but she could get me in the next day around noon. My friend called the next morning and complained about just an uncaring attitude to Dr. Stroms daughter who proceeded to apologize and said to bring my cat right in. 3 or 4 months later I even went back and adopted 3 cats from them. Today (3/20/14) however, Hilton showed me an uncaring side once again and its for the final time. I called this afternoon at about 4:30pm saying that the stray cat that I have been feeding for about 6-7 years has been sick and staying in my garage for about 2 weeks. However today she seemed to be in pain and dragging her back leg. I feared she was at the end and didnt want her to suffer, could I bring her in. The girl who answered asked for my name, looked me up and than told me that they couldnt take her today. I asked what I should do for her since she seemed to be in pain, I didnt want her to continue suffering. The girl said to hold on she would speak to the doctor. She returned and told me that the doctor said to call the Town of Hempstead and they would take her away. I was taken aback by such a cold, unfeeling response. I even told the girl that that seemed so cold, to just have her taken away for them to dispose of her like a piece of garbage. I then told her thanks for her time I would call another vet. Her response was OK. Well I did call another vet. They told me to come right in, examined the cat and were caring and gentle as they had to put her to sleep. I wouldnt want the same callousness applied to me for a third time if one of my currant cats was to get sick. Time to find a new vet. Very disappointed with Hilton Animal Hospital as Dr. Strom and the other doctors there always seemed to be concerned animal lovers. I guess only steady patients deserve concern - occasional patients and strays dont deserve the same concern.Anna Bono
I want to start by saying the Hilton was not our regular veterinarian but was recommended from a friend.Our regular veterinarian was in Hewlett dont want to give thier name.We had recently found our our dogs vet left the practice sadly and the new vet didnt seem to knowlegable with our girl or want to look in the computer about her past so we looked else where.We brought our girl Gracie a 13 yr old lab to the Hilton with bad hips and had recently found out she had cancer.We knew she started to show signs it was too late by her weight loss and not being herself.The Hilton didnt have us give Gracie a whole lot of tests other then some blood work and they told us she didnt have that much longer from her condition.We just adopted a new boy named Buddy 8 months old from the Hempstead animal shelter and will be taking him to the Hilton.Its sad to report our veterinarian in Hewlett never sent any condolence card when our Gracie passed.I guess over 12 years of bringing our girl Gracie there doesnt mean much.

Our cat Moby is a patient of Dr. Strom, we are very happy with the attention, care and the overall level of professionalism provided by Dr. Strom and the whole team. Years ago Dr. Strom threatened to kill my friends cats because she could not pay her bill in full on the day her cats were to be discharged from the hospital (about $600 for two healthy kittens to be neutered, shots, flea & tick bath and meds, etc.). She only had $300 because there was a misunderstanding, when she made the appointment, as to how much the total bill would be. They were over charging, but that’s besides the point. She would not have had the surgeries done had she known it would be $600 and her cats would be murdered by Strom if she could not pay.I tried to help my friend by meeting in person with Strom, asking if he would take a payment plan from her - she could pay $300 down and $50 a month for six months. Or a payment plan from me – she would pay $300 and I would authorize three $100 payments through my credit card for the $300 she did not have. But Strom said no to any payment plan. He actually said that not only must she pay the entire bill in one payment before she could take her cats home, but if she was “five CENTS short”, he would euthanize her cats. He said Im not a bank. If she doesnt pay the bill in full within a week I will euthanize them.” And, he said, she cannot take them home until the bill is paid in full. He also made it clear to me that he was legally allowed to do this, and was fully willing to do it.I asked him to repeat what he had said, because I was so surprised at what I heard. He repeated it, looking me in the eyes, straight faced, and obviously angry. Why he was so angry, I don’t know, as my friend had never been there before, and did not have a bad reputation for paying bills late. And I was a long time customer, who always paid my bills on time.He also went on to say they would charge her $25 a day for boarding the cats ($25 per day for each cat), starting that day, if she did not pay the bill in full to take them home right away. So her bill, which she could not pay already, would go up $50 a day, with the threat of him killing her cats a week later. And, she’d still owe the money after he euthanized her cats, and he would add the cost of boarding and euthanasia to her bill, and he said he’d send her account to a collection agency.Knowing my friend could not pay in full that day, and no longer trusting Strom to be anywhere near her cats (or any animal for that matter), I called my credit card company, asked them to raise how much I could charge to my card, and I paid the bill in full – and got her cats out of Strom’s death row. My friend gave me $300 right away, and paid the rest to me in a timely manner (just as promised).Strom should not be a vet. He shouldn’t even be allowed to be near any animals, as he clearly does not care about them. His ONLY care is for money. And yes, I do understand bills must be paid so they can continue their business, but its obvious this situation went way beyond that issue. I never took another animal to Hilton, and I recommend they be boycotted until Strom is gone and they disavow such a disgusting policy.

My wife and I have been bringing our cats here for 20+years and could not be happier with the service that Hilton has provided- they helped save/extend the lives of several of our animals over the past two decades but never pressured us into an unnecessary procedure- they have consistently shown compassion and provided advice/treatments as if our animals were their own. Hilton has been there for us during many difficult times and always assisted us in making decisions based solely on what was best for our fur babies - something for which we are eternally grateful. Highly, highly recommend.

Love everyone there. Having been going there for years. Both my dogs have been very happy patients. When I had to bring my dog there for the final time everyone was so supportive, sympathetic and kind. They are not just doctors, nurses or even assistances, they are people with big hearts.
Customer service is terrible. You would never know that the staff is dealing with living animals. They have zero decency, courtesy, and respect for animals and their owners. DO NOT GO HERE. TAKE YOUR PET ELSEWHERE.

BEWARE !!!! DO NOT BOARD ANIMALS HERE !!!!!! NEITHER OF MY ANIMALS WERE FED/GIVEN WATER PROPERLY. THEY DIDNT FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS THAT THEY HAD ME WRITE DOWN AND SIGN AT THE FRONT COUNTER!! I WANTED MY CATS FED 1 CAN 2X A DAY AND THEY ADVISED THEY ONLY GAVE 1/2 CAN. AND THEIR EXCUSE WAS THE CATS WERENT PHYSICAL SO THEY THOUGHT THEY SHOULDNT EAT AND THAT THE KENNEL MANAGER DIDNT EVEN GET MY INSTRUCTIONS THEY MADE ME FILL OUT !!! DEFINITELY NOT EXPERIENCED ENOUGH TO CARE FOR ANIMALS.
Dr. is great and very helpful. Service and staff are always very nice to my dog.

Sadly, we had to put our 18 y-o cat, Patches, to sleep unexpectedly yesterday. Dr. Strom and the staff could not have been kinder.

Just took my two male cats for a well visit and to be microchipped. I made the appointment last week. Staff was timely with my appointment, they come right to your car, the doctor answered all of my questions and was extremely caring for my boys. It was an excellent experience!

I have several pets that have been to this office and can only speak highly of all the staff! Dr. Strom is the dog whisperer!!!!! My boys are a bit fussy about strangers and when Dr. Strom touches them, they calm down and are perfect gentlemen!
I used to rave about Hilton and, in particular, Dr. C, but for a while now, they seem to be operating solely as a business and all traces of compassion and care have apparently disappeared. I have 22 cats (all rescued), a few with special needs (paraplegic) or chronic conditions (diabetes), and spend thousands of dollars every year on medical care. Ive been going to Hilton for many years, but I am now having all of my cats records transferred to Dr. Foy at Terry Animal Hospital in Rockville Centre. Dr. Foy is a wonderful vet with exceptional bedside manner. He volunteers one day a week at an animal shelter, and has such a gentle way with animals that even my feral cats allow him to handle them without sedation. Good-bye, Hilton.
Very happy over 5 years! A great balance between a deeply caring staff and of course, a business. Fair prices, thorough exams, super knowledgeable doctors - truly! I half wish they werent as thorough because they discovered a problem with one of my dogs on a routine exam before he showed any signs/symptoms and, the remedy was an expensive operation (which they do net even perform but refer out). Anywho, had they not uncovered this problem, it would have meant a shortened life and painful death for our poor pet. Follow their advice! If they recommend a blood test -DO IT! Youll be happy you did.
