HAD A 10:30 appointment…called at 3:30…he still wasn’t ready….kept saying he was matted,which was NOT the case….learned later this is a tactic for extra fees….came there at 4:30 and he STILL wasn’t ready….FINALLY at 5:15 the owner came and got me…and this was the results along with a nick over his eye…kept saying he was matted,I take my dog monthly to this groomer…and have also with my other dog years ago(different groomer)HE WASNT MATTED!!!…my dog is calm but was unusually lethargic….the vet said they probably gave him something to calm him down….please don’t take your dog here!!!

MyFavorite child is a little high strung and they are soooooo amazing with him. In the past I would have to sedate my bear to go to theGroomer , no more! They truly love animalsAnd are Also well trained , accommodating. and cost Effective when you have 2 furry babies . I am a little jealous how much my dog loves them! I will NEVEr go anywhere else

Been coming here for years off a recommendation...i have no complaints - dogs apparently hate the dryer but i get clean dogs so Im thrilled. Price very well too...should go mobile so i dont have to take my PITA dogs out, car rides are less than fun 🤨😂. Regardless, recommended for sure 👍🏼🐶🐶

Just took my doggie Roman to get groomed here and I am in love. My baby looks perfect. It was very easy to get an appointment. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was my first time taking him there and will definitely not be the last. The price was very reasonable considering the knots my baby had on his fur. I am very happy and I highly recommend them.

Best Groomers. I’ve been taking my dog to be groomed to my vet for years because no groomer would groom him because he was to aggressive so our vet had to sedate him. The groomer at the vet recently retired so we had to find a new place. A friend at the dog parks recommended Michael at just pawfection. We met with Michael and told him our concerns about Murray aggression. We found out that Michael not only is a groomer but a behaviorist too. We were very nervous when we left him. After a few hours Michael called and said everything went well and he was ready. Murray was happy and groomed beautifully. We are so relieved. Thank you so much Michael

These people are theives!! I sent my German Shepherd (who is mostly an outdoor dog) to get washed, and have her de-shed. They shaved my dog nearly bald in the middle of the winter!!! We never asked for this!!! She’s been going to these groomers for years and has gotten the correct services done in the past. They also asked to bring her in at 11:00 am but didn’t give her back until 5:00 Pm. They held my dog for 6 hours with no food or water!!! The man on the phone said it only took two hours to work on my dog so I dont understand why she was there for 6 HOURS.She came home extremely thirsty and weak. My dog has patches of missing fur. She gets anxious being cooped up in the hours for hours at a time and prefers to be outside for most of the day. Now that she’s completely shaved, there’s no way we can even take her out for her normal walks. We live in New York and winter time is brutal. My dog was physically weak, and exhausted when she was released back to us. I have no idea how she was treated while she was in there. This is the first time she can’t back from the groomers not her normal self. These horrible people refused to give us our money back. They didn’t let us see our dog unless we paid first!!!! THEY CHARGED US $150 TO SHAVE MY DOG. THEY ARE THIEVES. CROOKS. EVIL PEOPLE.

Just Pawfection is the best groomer in Howard Beach. My dog Bella is always nervous when it comes to the water and they make her feel comfortable. The grooming job they do is outstanding. They also are cageless which is a really amazing thing. I always feel comfortable leaving her. They treat the dogs like their own. Definitely recommend!

I must say I cannot give Just-Pawfection enough compliments on the fabulous job they did on my princess Lulu. I am beyond happy with the outcome!!!

They are beyond what you could ever expect. They are accommodating and love the job they do. They have NO CAGES. The owner is is sweet, accommodating and is always in the shop when it’s openened. One of my dogs is over 100 lbs and they NEVER let her jump off the grooming table. They carry her off. They care

This was my dogs first grooming so it is possible that I am being too critical but honestly I could have done a better job myself. especially if I took 4 hours. apparently they give discounts if you pay cash if you try to pay with credit card they will charge you tax and a credit card surcharge. it cost me $125 which was including tip Im not sure if this is a good price you be the judge. my dogis a full size goldendoodle oh yeah and they did not cut his nails or trim hish paw pad hair. this was the lynbrook location

My mom has been taking me to Just- Pawfection for almost a year and I love it! 1st I love that Im not put in a cage!Michael, is my groomer, and he comes highly recommended due to his vast knowledge of dogs. I have a skin allergy and Michael noticed right away, and made a suggestions to my mom how to treat it by changing my diet and special baths. Ive been bringing my Stella to Just Pawfection for about a year now and they are best. They are clean, friendly and accommodating. Stella is always happy -never nervous when I drop her off or pick her up.

Michael is awesome! He’s very knowledgeable and loving and caring with my Goldendoodle! She always looks amazing! I definitely recommend Just Pawfection and Michael!

We have been taking our fur baby here for over a year now. We are always happy with the care and service. Will not take our baby anywhere but here for grooming.

I bought my dog to the Lynbrook location and it looks as my dog was not even touched. Has to be the worst grooming ever. My dog is petrified to come here and I would not recommend anyone from coming here. VERY UNSATISFIED.

Just perfection is a wonderful place to take your dog matter what the size of the dog the men and women that work there the groomers the people who cut the nails and do the ears a dedicated sweet and truly care about the animals very easy to get through this even parking in the back but street parking is usually available every dog gets a very cute little bandana when theyre finished and they walk out styling and looking good prices are very comprable to the large chain stores but you know your dog is not a number here and its looked after much more carefully than they do and lets say Petco definitely get your dog here

I gave these people specific instructions to not shave dog just a lite trim if there were to many knots than do nothing I will still pay . they completely ignored what I asked for . I am so sorry I used these people really how dare they AGAIN THEY WERE TOLD NOT TO TAKE MY PUPPYS HAIR OFFSO UPSET I WISH I COULD SUE THIS ESTABLISHMENT

Horrible experience my dog was cut under his belly cause they have a 90 year old groomer I cant tell you how upset I was Im considering legal action they refuse to pay a vet bill I will never recommend anyone to go there !!!!!!!

First time I am ever grooming Beau. He’s short hair mix Shepard/lab. I needed a de shedding and I am pleased. Beau looks great, less shedding, and smells nice!

Giving them a 1 star because it’s the least I can give! My last visit was unpleasant. I was told a price over the phone and was charged something else after picking up my puppy. My 2nd dog who has been going there for 2 years was also not groomed as expected- she still had knots on her. Never returning again.

Michael grooms Mocha. They have a special bond ❤️Michael is an amazing man who goes Above and beyond for all of his clients! He truly cares about them. Mocha loves him! I trust them 100%. WORST CHOP JOB. I was told it would be a few hours when I brought my dog in for her appointment. I called to check on status of my dog 3 hours later and was told she would be ready in a half hour. I was actually told I could start heading out in 15 minute. When I arrived my dog was on the grooming table appeared to have been air dried and NOT groomed at all. In fact, the groomer was sitting in front of my dog talking on his cell phone instead. The owner rudely retorts I told you it would take a few hours forgetting he had told me to come. While I waited in the shop for my dog another client called inquiring of their pet. The owner turns around and directs groomer to do that persons dog next. Another half hour and my dog was done. When I arrived home I had to get scissors to even out the mess. The right side of her face was cut shorter the the left. There were long strands poking out from where the rest of hair had been cut. Her tail was another uneven nightmare. Her nails were cut but not filed.Never never never will I go there again!
