Thank you so much for the job done on Teddy! ❤️ Teddy is a one year old Alaskan malamute. I absolutely love the trim she was given. It was her very first time going to the groomers. We always maintain her nicely at home the best that we can, so she didn’t need much done. She got a full grooming done, but specifically got a trim for the main areas: the ears, butt, paws, and legs. Being such a dog mom, I was worried about her first time at the groomers, but I was told she did amazing! She looks and smells great too, thanks to the Love My Dawg team! I love the little bandana that was put on her too. Thank you for taking care of her and making sure she looks good. The lighting in the photos probably doesn’t do it much justice, but it’s a job well done.I forgot to mention how fluffy and soft she’s feeling.

Absolutely thrilled with the service at Love My Dawg! My dog, Honey, just got her haircut from Danielle, and she looks fantastic! Danielle did an amazing job—Honeys cut is stylish and perfectly suits her. The staff are friendly and caring, and the facility is clean and welcoming. Honey came home happy and looking great. Ill definitely be back and highly recommend this place to other pet owners. Five stars!

We have used Luv My Dawg for grooming and boarding services for over eight years. In fact, we purchased one of our dogs from them 8 years ago. In May, my wife made a reservation to board our two dogs for a week in August. Earlier today, my wife called to confirm and was told they did not have the reservation. The gentleman my wife spoke with then proceeded to say how we had made several complaints over the past few years. I’m not sure how that was relevant to the inquiry. He said he would call back to see if he could still board the dogs but has not done so. Needless to say, it obvious they are not concerned about keeping us as clients so we will look elsewhere.I know the ownership of this establishment has changed over the years. Unfortunately, not for the better.

I have used Love My Dog for grooming several times now & Big Sheba always leaves looking like the Queen she is. All staff encountered are friendly yet professional, & all groomers excellent.

Found Love My Dawg Resort and Spa doing a search on Instagram!I wanted to find a dog groomer that wasnt afraid or didnt have the patience or commitment to groom my two long hair yorkies. Most groomers will give them the puppy cut just because its faster and easier to maintain. I was tired of being envious of all the long haired yorkies Id see on Instagram, so I finally decided to search via hashtags and came upon Love My Dwags account. It was love at first scroll. I made an appointment and havent stopped going to them since!The amount of LOVE they give my babies makes the experience for them all the better! The groomers there are probably the most highly trained, experienced, and certified on the south shore! They are all incredibly talented artist and professionals. I never ever leave disappointed.Chrissy is AMAZING! Beyond what I said above, Chrissy is always pushing her talents to the next level and never stops learning! I feel ridiculously and blessed to have found her, and for the amount of love and attention she gives to my two fur babies. She really does treat them as if they were her own kin.Everyone at Love My Dawg is a pleasure to interact with. They all do love their jobs, and when you love your job, it really does show and makes the whole experience that much better.The south shore is super lucky and fortunate to have a business like Love My Dawg in our community!

This place used to be good but now they overbooked the appointment, and they dont know how to manage. They used to take 1.5 hr to wash my dogs and now this poor dogs sit there for 4 hrs, and you have to keep calling and asking if they are done. One of my husky have anxiety he doesnt like to be locked up for 4 hrs, so I informed them can you finish both of them at the same time so he wont sit there crying. They do this job without any care and its very annoying. I made appointment for my dogs today and confirmed last Wednesday they were like we are booked. Can you bring then Thursday. This is very unprofessional, and I would rather take my business somewhere who actually care about the dogs and take care of them the way they deserve. I will give 0 start if I can. Thats how annoyed I am.

Been bringing my dog here for grooming as well as my cat. My cat gets a cut and bath and always comes back looking so beautiful.I always boarded for the first time over the weekend, and Lola had a great time. She was able to socialize with other dogs. It was like a vacation for her while we were away.

I took my goldendoodle to Love My Dawg for the 1st time yesterday I absolutely loved them and I am going to use them again, the owner Keith was so nice and so was Danielle and Joe as soon as I walked in they came out from behind the desk went right over to my dog listened to everything I had to say, when I picked up my dog there was nothing I could say I loved how he looked and I just had the best feeling leaving him there and knowing they listened to what I wanted

Bring my pup here every 4-6 weeks like they suggest. Never had to shave my dog anymore and my dog comes out amazing every single time. Staff seems to really listen and treats my pup like it’s their own.

Melissa is a sweet heart. She is very gentle, and thoughtful. She considers the clients wishes, and is very creative.After Pryia’s spa day she looked and smelled wonderful!!

More than us or dog Brody loves this place! They know him by sight. He is always happy to be dropped off, and they provide grooming services for free of you leave your pet for more than 72 hours. Everyone, without exception, is wonderful and you just know that they love their wards. This is the only place that we use.

Love my Dawg Resort and spa is just the best. I adopted a high energy dog almost two years ago and I was afraid no one would want to board him but every time I pick Kane up they are always just friendly and welcoming!

Very nice place to bring your dog to! Chrissy is an AMAZING groomer that speaks volume why the shop is booming. Very elegant and sophisticated. There are many beautiful choices of clothing and accessories to choose from. It’s like walking into the Saks of the doggy world. The doggy day care area is really neat too. Plus they do really cool creative grooming styles as well. If you haven’t been there yet you’re missing out

If you have an older dog, please do NOT use this company. They gave the dog a nasty cut, and then there was no way to follow up with them about it. we informed them about our Dogs weak legs and they ignored it and treated her roughly anyway. Its upsetting that management refused to listen to or even hear our complaint. it shows they dont care.

Left our dog for boarding, she was on flea/tick prevention. When we picked her up she was full of fleas. Told them we were picking her up as soon as they opened, yet they had her in the bath upon arrival! So disappointed because we visited two times prior to make sure she would be comfortable & taken care of.

My dog Zoe has been groomed by Chrissy for years. She comes home relaxed and groomed beautifully. Chrissy is so fantastic. She is loving, knowledgeable, caring and takes pride in what she does! She is truly a professional in her field. Her staff is the warmest and her shop is impeccable. I highly recommend.

The staff is FANTASTIC. They give my puppy so much love and attention every time he is there. He goes there for daycare every once in a while on top of his usual grooming. If it was up to him he would be there every day! Thank you all for making me feel so comfortable leaving my little guy all day. Such a weight off my shoulders having a place I really trust!

I called and went to 6 pet grooming stores and nobody wanted to accept my aggressive dog for nail clipping. Then finally I called love my dawg and they save my life! They are super friendly and helped out with so much courtesy! The Most important thing is that my dog’s nail is cut! He looks totally fine after coming out! He pooped and ate like nothing happened!

Our 9 month old Blue Heeler / German Shorthaired Pointer, Dottie, seemed very happy there after a three night stay with a grooming. She loved the open floor plan and made friends. I dealt with Tyler, Emma, and Melissa and all were wonderful. Already booked Dotties second vacation there. Recommended.UPDATE: Our now 2 1/2 year old Dottie still loves Love My Dawg. While the staff remains amazing to me, the new ownership raised prices a bit and scheduling seems to be a little more difficult than it was in the past. All that said, Im still a customer and still recommend.

Staff members are kind not only to your pet but owner too. They make you feel assured that your pet is loved and will be well taken care of by all. My dog is always bathed with a two day stay free of charge. Its clean and updated atmosphere with plenty of similes.

Tracy is an unbelievable groomer. She is kind and patient and the animals are always happy to see her. The place does not smell like wet dog or cat. It is clean but may be a bit loud depending on how many dogs are being babysat as they do bark. I highly recommend them for cats.

Best experience for my girlie! We boarded her there for a week when we went away and she was SO HAPPY! Staff answers all questions and are always helpful. Will definitely be coming back!

Ruby loves it and all of the other dogs are always happy. More affordable and higher quality than most local groomers. Pleased with the service EVERY visit and they will call and make sure to confirm its ok w/you to perform any services that werent discussed prior to servicing your pet.

I took my dogs here for the first time on Sunday and Emma was my groomer. She was so nice and welcoming. The young man that greeted us was also very nice he gave me a $10 discount for the first time. I definitely recommend these groomers.

Just picked up my dog (Beau) from a 5 night stay and I can tell he was definitely well taken care of here. They were able to keep him on very short notice for a trip I had to take and I am very grateful that they were able to, and I was comfortable leaving him there. Thank you!

Very nice service. I bring my puppy every now and then to this nice place to get fresh and clean. The dog gets energetic and happy every time, and I feel more confident with my pet. Workers there are nice and kind, they usually treat dogs nicely as I noticed. Totally recommend the spa.

Like the way my dog comes out of here, A little pricey $65 for a small 4 pound dog. Have tried all the groomers , he smells good when he comes out of here but not everyone cuts the hair the same some better than others . Make sure the front person really listens to your haircut request otherwise you will be disappointed, She is the key to your happiness .

My dog came home FILTHY from a week boarding with terrible bug. AFTER her complimentary wash her white paws were still heavily urine stained which means they didnt tend to any accidents and didnt clean her in a timely way. I got no response from the owner who was supposed to reach out to me. So, lack of communication - 5 stars. Ignored my pup when she needs to be cleaned mid stay - 5 stars. DO NOT put your dog up in the filthy place over night. Just dont.

Its ok, they used to do a great job grooming my dog, but now the ears dont get plucked very well at all, his coat looks kinda uneven and he just doesnt look as tidy. I think they used to have a girl called Kim but she left and the new girl just isnt up to the same level. Will try again as have used this place for years now but they need to do better for a $65 hack job

Highly recommend for any pet needs from day care to grooming they are there for your dogs needs. Always friendly and welcoming from drop off to delivery. My puppy comes how happy, tired, and clean!!!

Awesome place. They gave my puppy a great cut. Only reason why I’m not giving it a Full 5 stars is because this is the second time I bring my pup there and they leave his ears filthy which kind of annoys me. Other than that great place. 65$ was what they charged btw.

Will never use again, took over 4 hours for them to tell me they had to essentially shave my dog. My dogs cut looks sloppy and careless, patches and uneven throughout the coat. How does shaving a dog take 4 hours? Staff was nasty and very unfriendly. Couldnt recommend this groomer less.

I had a problem getting my dog in to be groomed and was very upset and disappointed because this is where I always bring my dog. However, Chrissy, one of the owners heard about what happened and she immediately called and apologized. Chrissy even offered to groom Rocket free on his next visit. I love bringing my dog here and am very pleased that Chrissy handled the situation with the utmost professionalism.

Love my dawg donated a generous gift certificate for a local fundraiser. After Hearing about this I brought my yellow lab in to Get bathed. We were very pleased with the experience. We will definitely return!

Very happy with this place, price is comparable to many others in the area, but this place consistently grooms my dog to my liking. Also if you need boarding, they do that as well.

Used to be a good place but not anymore took my dog in for a simple groom I come back to pick him up later and it’s 30$ more ok what ever I get in the car and see some redness in his eye ok it’s usually stressful for him as he doesn’t like the groomer get home look at his eye again it’s bloody read like completely red he bust a eye vein because it was extra stressful in him this time round so if it dosnt go away in a weeks time tops I’m taking him to the vet and I love my dog will be reviving a bill from said vet so wouldn’t recommend

This past April we adopted our baby after not having a dog in the house for years. We went to the groomer who we used to take our last dog to years ago (in Bellmore) but after two visits I wasnt happy with their work. I found this place and Im so happy I switched groomers! Our dog has short hair so I cannot comment on their grooming or clipping but she does have very dry skin so we like to get her a professional oatmeal bath every 1-2months.They did a great job cleaning her ears and making her smell nice. But they did an AMAZING job on her nails. They got them as short as possible without it hurting our furry baby and they filed them so they werent sharp on the edges. This was the main reason why I decided to switch groomers, because I didnt like how the other groomer haphazardly did her nails.The people there are super nice and seem to really car about your dog. And while our dog was nervous going in, she came out all smiles. They even gave her a Fourth of July themed bandana!! Definitely satisfied. Im taking my baby here from now on!

How can you not love a place where most of the pupsters are loose thruout...with exceptions...they all seem to get along.. CHRISSY and her staff are sweethearts of people....wonderful groomers...and their boutique is outrageous!!!...if youre in to that stuff...( Im not!!!)

We’ve been using love my dog for a couple years.. My two black labs always come home very clean and happy. The staff are always friendly and make you feel that your fur kids are in good hands.

People at the there are just wonderful my dogs groomer Tracy is an absolute doll my dog loves her were having a little problem with my dog scratching we called her left a message and she called us back at 7 at night she is one excellent groomer

I’ve left my little yorkie here for a week while I was away on vacation twice within the past 6 months. She’s a rescue and my family is always apprehensive about watching her because she has anxiety and accidents when she’s scared. But Love My Dawg has taken her in with open arms and she does really well there. The owner is really nice and attentive. He’s able to tell me exactly how she behaved and was well attuned to her temperament. I feel that I’m leaving her in good hands when I can’t take her with me for any extended periods of time.

This place is Awesome! Conveniently located right off sunrise Highway in Merrick,plenty of on street parking to get your pooch inside safely, inside is like doggy heaven! Clean with so many accessories,scent sprays, leashes and treats, im loving the sports team jackets as well! The girls behind the counter are great!, When I initially visited, I was greeted by Melissa and her ear to ear smile! Very sweet,friendly and she filled me in on all their services, first thing I did was trim my little guys nails and to my surprise it was complementary! The man in the back did a great job and I tipped him accordingly,Came back a couple days later after making an appointment for the oatmeal bath & the owner Chrissy was there, wonderful girl, again very sweet friendly and she offered me a $10 off the bath for being a first-time customer!score! I even bought a good quality coat & a nice mandarin honey spray to keep my pooch smelling fresh in between baths! I look forward to coming back here real soon just because the customer service, fair prices and quality treatment they offer! Highly recommended.

I drive out from the city to this spa. This is the only dog spa I trust, my dog loves going there and loves the people. Theyve always done an amazing job and treat me and my puppy like were family =D

They let your pet play with the other dogs as long as you are ok with it. My dog, Happy, hates getting his hair cut but doesnt mind here because he gets playtime after and a really cool tie to wear on the way home. Im glad we found this place.
