The Debonair Dog

Our normal groomer and place closed down and we decided to try Debonair Dog based on recommendations and reviews. When I say we couldn’t be more thrilled and pleased with our Golden Doodle’s haircut and style, it’s an understatement! It’s absolutely 💯 perfection! My sweet boy looks so handsome and fluffy. He had a good experience there and they were good to him. I am so happy to find a wonderful new groomer who spent the time with my dog. It’s very hard finding a reputable groomer that you can trust and does an amazing job! A BIG THANK YOU 😊❤️🐾🐾

I got Oscar last month; hes a two-year-old rescue whos not great with strangers, and as a result, Petco wouldnt take him and recommended an animal hospital that would muzzle him in order to groom him.I instead reached out to the Debonair Dog on Facebook and Fran (the owner) responded immediately, even though they were closed that day. She assured me that they handle scared/territorial dogs all the time and was able to give me a timely appointment for the upcoming week.Everyone I spoke with from this company was so helpful, patient, and kind, and after a few hours, Oscar came home looking clean and well-groomed. They also took care of the matting on his face and gave him a cute bandana, all for a very reasonable price. Fran seemed confident that she could build up a trusting relationship with Oscar so that grooming is easier in the future, and Im really looking forward to using this business from now on.

I help out with a woman who brings her dog to this groomer, every few months. The folks who work here are always polite, and respectful of the woman’s wishes. They do great work.

Theyve raised their prices quite a bit. However, the dog was well washed. Smells good. As im sure you know, everything is more pricey these days

We brought our 13 week old Pomeranian in this morning for her first little hair trim and grooming. We were nervous to leave her alone but the staff was so amazing and so kind, they made us and our puppy feel so comfortable. She was done in about an hour and a half and she looks and smells amazing! Her nails were cut and filed, she’s nice and fluffy not too short not too long, she’s a very happy girl! We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend! Fran is incredibly sweet and always does an amazing job! My grandmother brings her dog (all the way from Queens) here to get groomed, because she is so happy with the way they treat her dog and the way her pup comes out looking perfect every time.

We have been using this groomer for a few years now. Yesterdays grooming was very disappointing. The haircut was very choppy and some spots were almost scalped. The last grooming was a little better. Their price went up and service went down. I spoke to the owner this morning and got a lot of excuses like; other people bring in matted and tangled dogs so it takes longer to groom them and they get backed up. What does that have to do with my dog? Is that why my dog got the rush job? Then she said that my dog is curious and when other dogs are brought in she moves around to look. Isnt that what dogs do and isnt that part of the business. She suggested that I bring her back and she would try and fix the problem. How do you put hair back on a dog. Time to start looking for a new groomer???

Fresh from the city life we searched for a dog groomer for our toy pomeranian dog Teddy. We looked at many places and finally coming across The Debonair dog. Very cute place adhering to COVID protocol, the staff is very friendly and even calling was well received. We inquired on prices and was hoping for an appointment next weekend but got lucky with a cancelation today!! We arrived there in minutes. There is parking outside which is great and was received by the one of the staff, she was very sweet and answered our questions. When it was time to pick up our dog we were so happy to see the results. Teddy smelled so good and seemed content which is a plus having him home now is like night and day. If you are looking for a dog groomer, you have to guve this place a try. We will definitely be back!

I have been there several times with my beagle-boxer mix Roscoe. They are very good with him and its always a job well done. Never takes long at all and prices are very reasonable! Would definitely recommend.

I was searching for a groomer ever since I love back to the island & Im glad I came across this one. The reviews on Google made the choosing easy for me. Reasonably fast service & my dog looked excatly hos I wanted him to. Yes difficult to cut, especially around his face, but they managed & did a great job. Staff was very nice & the place was neat & clean too.

Fran and her crew are phenomenal. I have a special needs dog - 15 yrs old, mostly deaf and blind, diabetic and very insecure outside her home environment. The crew is extra accommodating. professional and made us and our dog Biscuit comfortable in a stressful challenge.

I highly recommend!!! I dropped my Scarlett off today and was so pleased when I picked her up. She looks beautiful and smells great! Thank you so much for a wonderful job. We will be returning :)

This is THE best place that I have found to have my Newfoundland groomed. I drive 30 minutes to get there because when he walks in and sees his groomer that tail is wagging and when I pick him up he looks fantastic. Highly recommended from a picky Newfie lover.

Fran is fantastic. Our 15 yr old labradoodle suffers from diabetes, hearing loss, cataracts and has separation anxiety disorder. Fran has provided loving and excellent work and we would highly recommend her services.

Fran and the crew over at Debonair Dog are the best. They always welcome my dog with LOVE. She always comes home clean and fresh smelling, which lasts a couple of weeks. I highly recommend Debonair Dog.

I take my Saint Bernard there and Im always happy with the results. They treat him well and they dont complain if he is being difficult. Also theyre quite reasonably priced.

They didn’t take my dog in.. I don’t know if it was because he was a pitbull or what but ever since i made an appointment with them they sounded iffy about him. then they had a power outage and said they’d call me to reschedule an appointment with my pit the next day and I haven’t heard from them since. anyways stan poochie couture 😌✨

Exceptional cut on our 14 month springer doodle.

Brought Nixon in to Debonair in June I believe.Hes a mix poodle,maltese. His hair was in knots!When we picked him up he was all groomed short,smelling so good and happy. They were verynice and did a wonderful job!

Amazing and caring loving to all kinds of dogs I have a big red pitbull (Redrum) which they handle him with nothing but love and care and he comes out looking and selling amazing. Thank you ladies for all your hard work and dedication

I dont know what it is about this particular business but the owners/workers are pretty rude. From the way how they answer the door, to the way they talk to you... they answer the door essentially asking what are you doing here? Could do with a refresher on customer service. Wont be going back. Ever.

Fran has taken excellent care of our Sheltie for years now and never rushes with her grooming. Highly recommend.

I cant say enough good thigs about this establishment. We took our dog there for his first grooming last week and the experience was awesome. Our dog is only 4 1/2 months old and he was extremely nervous when we brought him in. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a woman at the front and then by the owner, Fran. She assured us that he would be alright and they would take great care of him. We filled out the paper work and they said they would call us in about 2 hours when he was finished. Well, at two hours we received a call that Bear was ready. We picked him up and he looked awesome. He was clean, smelled great and was in a happy mood. We will definitely be taking him back here as this in now our go to groomer. Thanks again...

Frank and the ladies are awesome. My dogs 4 of them go in like little pigs and leave beautiful.

Food was flavorless. Place was very clean though. We were seated in the back closest to the kitchen. There were only 4 other people in the restaurant.
