Nikki is the best! As a first time dog owner she helped me a lot with understanding his needs and pinpointing his issues. Cashew has become less reactive to other dogs on leashes and we are working on separation anxiety now! Nikki is always there when I have questions and super responsive and always eager to help me and Cashew! Nikki has made myself and my dog a lot more confident in each other!

Nikki has been amazing for our Morkie. He unfortunately has some anxiety, and she’s been amazing at teaching us how to set him up to thrive! She even recommended us a groomer and dog sitter that he really loves that cater to his needs. It’s so important to understand their behavior and why the behavior is caused (root) which is something she really emphasizes!Look at how relaxed he is!

In the time weve worked with Nikki from Michaels Pack, our Lilly has made great progress. Nikki is a wonderful and thorough professional and our girl just loves her. From our first assessment with Phil, through all of our training sessions, this has been an amazing and positive experience. We had other trainers prior and I wish we would have found Michaels Pack from the beginning. They are head and shoulders above any other training services around. We highly recommend them.

Nikki is an amazing dog trainer. Bob is our baby and we are very selective in who gets to work with him. Nikki is creative, positive, and encouraging, and most importantly is supportive of dog owners in learning to understand their pet. Bob loves her and is always excited to complete his training exercises. He is not perfect but he’s learning and improving every day. He gives Nikki two paws up.

Nikki is absolutely amazing! She changed my and my puppy’s life completely with so many tools and ideas that she provided us to help us build a stronger bond and improve my puppy’s obedience and potty training. With only a free sessions, she’s made such a difference in my puppy’s resource guarding issues (he doesn’t have that anymore!), heeling and recall. My relationship with my pup has also strengthened immensely since then. She’s such a positive person and has sooo much love for all dogs. When I was away on my trip she was texting me and asking for updates from us. She always made herself available via text for all kinds of questions or concerns and we truly depend on her for any issues or changes that come up. I’m so so happy that Michael’s pack placed Nikki with us because I cannot imagine anyone better or more suitable for our needs. Nikki did an amazing job with my hyperactive puppy. She took the time to figure out the root causes of his behavior to then help come up with an improvement plan. Nikki went above and beyond in her communication. She sent follow ups to sessions with a summary, resources, and links to toys/treats/etc.

Our trainer Nikki was fantastic to work with! Nikki worked with our whole family, especially the kids, to make sure we all knew ways to handle our new puppy! Miller is doing so much better and we are confident we can continue with everything she taught us! You could immediately tell Nikki loves what she does and wanted Miller to succeed!We also did the group trainings with Phil and Miller was able to socialize with other dogs! Phil was able to focus on individual commands and Nikki was able to make sure we reinforced them at home!Both trainings really benefitted our puppy and we are so grateful for the whole team of trainers!!!!

We had an amazing experience with Michael’s Pack. Phil was wonderful and very thorough with his initial consultation. Nikki was our trainer and she did a fantastic job with our Airedale, Duke. After the very first visit, many of the small puppy behaviors that we can see may become extrapolated into large issues began getting resolved slowly but surely. Duke was very responsive to the training and our family became more attuned to signs that Duke was attentive or at times when he was losing patience for the sessions. Nikki taught the entire family how to set Duke up to be a great dog as he gets older.

Nikki is an excellent trainer from Michael’s Pack. My almost 2 year old rescue pup, Violet, was having a lot of reactivity and anxiety while on walks. Loud noises and seeing other dogs would set off leash pulling, barking and sometimes growling. After the training sessions with Nikki, Violet is completely enjoying walks and loves greeting other dogs along the way. She barely reacts to loud noises, and if she does she relaxes quickly and confidently. Nikki gave us great tools and tips to help Violet. Her training instructions were not only easy to follow but easy to implement. She helped Violet and she also helped me become a better pet parent. Violet and I are going to miss her, but we know other pet parents are going to be lucky to have her as a trainer as well!

Nikki is line no other! I knew I was in the best hands ever in our first visit. She meets you where you are and is so realistic in her rtraining. We had a terrible time and she softly says sometimes a iTI can do this. I go to a great bet she uses and this puppy now is 100%a total mush and 100% non aggressive. We can go through a lot with our pets and we need someone “right” who can be a team with us and wow I am still in shock. I am so super grateful. This gorgeous puppy was biting and we were so emotiona l and thinking he had to to a farm and were devastated and yet Nikki so calmly says hang on. I have a thought on this. She is, was, and always will be a genius, with the passion for animals and dogs and focus on animal behavior line no other. I also adore Nikki. She is positive, makes training easy, and makes everything about having an animal a dream. I say this will such gratitude. We had a miracle. Why? The company always super responsive to our inquiry, then our family and dog’s specific needs and challenges were taken into thoughtful consideration when they matched us with the amazing Nikki as our trainer after an initial assessment. She knew exactly what to do including sharing her own personal experiences introducing an energetic puppy to an older, grumpy cat - one of our long list of needs. She was so patient with us and our children and so many of the techniques she taught us and our pup are working well for us today! We recently adopted a 2-year-old Shih Tzu which spent its first two years of life in a puppy mill in Minnesota. Our new dog was extremely anxious, clingy, untrusting of others, barely potty trained, and socially awkward in every situation. We knew we had our hands full but wanted to adopt our dog regardless. Jax our dog started training with niki at 7months, he has learned sooooo much. we also met with phil for jaxs first day and he was greattttt!!! Eric was an incredible trainer for my rescue dog Jose. When I first got Jose he was impulsive, territorial and did not like strangers. After working with Eric Jose is a new dog- hes patient no longer impulsive and friendly with everyone he meets. Eric truly went above and beyond to work with Jose and myself, was extremely accommodating to my work schedule and with coming to my location, even with a move. We reached out to Michael’s pack after our neighbor recommended them and decided to cancel our training package with Petsmart .Best decision we ever made. From the moment Phil came to our home to begin training we knew that it would be a worthwhile investment. Our 3 year old Jack-chi is quite stubborn and barky, but Phil’s level of patience with her and us made the difference. Within months we noticed how much better she responded to commands. We took her to a new grooming salon today and they were singing her praises because of how well she behaved. We texted Phil immediately after because grooming alone was a challenge with her ! This was definitely not an overnight change but with Phil’s guidance and a lot of consistency, discipline and patience we can say we feel a lot more confident being pet owners !

Just finished our training package with Michaels Pack and we are sad to have it come to an end. Our trainer was Nikki and she helped us tremendously with our amstaff puppy. He was starting to go through his teething phase and getting very nippy. Nikki came just in time and helped us navigate through the difficult phase. She was very accommodating to our work schedules and checked in with us regularly. Always addressed our concerns and gave us numerous training tips. She even used her own dog in training sessions to help with our concerns! Our pup looked forward to his lessons and was always sleeping soon after them. With her dedication we have learned to be better pet parents and now own a well mannered, happy puppy. Would highly recommend her!

I highly recommend Adam as a dog trainer! He completely transformed our lives in just two short months. Our toy poodle puppy, who was previously quite feisty and struggled with severe separation anxiety, is now a happy and obedient pup. If your looking for a dog trainer Michaels Pack is the way to go. Our trainer Dana was great. We met up with her when our English bulldog was 14 weeks old. We told her what our concerns were and she immediately took action. Our puppy Lola was over the top with energy and chewing everything and Dana knew exactly what to do--we will say it took time to get our bully to where we wanted her to be and after 8 sessions with Dana we were more than happy and we highly recommend Dana & Michaels Pack if your looking for one on one training. We had an amazing experience with Michaels Pack Dog Training. Our trainer was Nikki and she was great. Nikki showed us many techniques to help our 10 month old lab Cooper. Cooper had a tendency to use his mouth when he was excited and also liked to jump up when greeting us or guests. Through Nikkis training tips of positive reinforcement, Cooper has made amazing progress. On a recent trip upstate to visit my sister who had not seen Cooper in months, we were so happy to hear that he was a completely changed dog. Nikki would contact us during the week to ask us how Cooper was doing and she also told us we could call her or text her anytime with questions. I signed up with Michaels Pack over a month ago. We were assigned Nikki as our trainer for our Two, 3 and 3 and I/2 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniels Samoa and Fig Newton. We were having problems with: barking, jumping up on visitors, pulling on leashes and over excitement. We had worked with other dog training companies in the past and were a little bit Leary. But Nikki proved to be an amazing trainer. She taught my husband and I how to work together to help train our boys to be happier and follow our commands. I dont know who was more excited to see Nikki. Samoa and Fig Newton or my husband and I. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I highly recommend Micheals Pack and Nikki. They truly made us a happy family!

Michael’s Pack is a great place to find personalized training for your dog from seasoned professionals. We had Eric, and although he was new to Michael’s pack when we signed up, he brought a ton of knowledge to the company and is extremely knowledgeable about all things dog related!! He has been a phenomenal trainer for our labrador puppy, whom was definitely a hard-headed dog from the start and Eric did a great job teaching us how to deal with our dog’s training needs. Definitely recommend Michael’s pack…you’ll be very happy with this choice!

We just bid a sad farewell to Phil, the trainer we had for our 11-month-old puppy, Krisi. We cant say enough about how much Phil taught Krisi (and us) about recall, over anxiousness from seeing other dogs, and so many other things that helped make our sweet pup a proper member of our pack.

Recently adopted Bindi needed some training. We found Michaels pack online.Phils home visit was very helpful and he guided us to Nikki..Nikki is knowledgeable, communicative, empathetic, and friendly. She is as good with humans as she is with dogs!Bindi loved her as much as we did!Nikki gave careful consideration to all of our circumstances.She followed up our meetings with texts, not only to reinforce what she had showed us but to see how we were progressing.Under Nikkis guidance we learned different ways to help Bindi fit in to our family unit. Nikki helped us with basic commands, harnessing Bindis abundant energy and love, even suggesting some adjustments on our furniture arrangement to help reduce Bindis stress.In addition, I am mobility impaired. A substantial portion of our training involved finding ways for me to be around Bindi without falling over her. Nikki was innovative and found workable solutions. She worked with both of us with the same care and consideration. The only difference was that I didnt receive any treats! Bindi and I learned how to be safe around each other, implementing techniques I would never been able to dream up on my own. I felt completely comfortable working with Nikki.Bindi was very responsive to Nikki in all aspects of training.I would recommend Nikki in a heartbeat without reservation.

We first met with Phil, who then assigned Nikki to help us with our rambunctious rescue Tibetan Terrier. Nikki was always very understanding, professional, and patient with our pup. She provided our family with the necessary tools, and the time to actually apply them, in order to correct several behavioral issues, including leash reactivity. We recently completed our Michaels Pack training for our 1 year old Coton, Maddie. Our trainer, Nikki, was fantastic and extremely patient as she had to train both Maddie and ourselves. She always checked in with texts to see how Maddie was progressing. The tips & methods she taught have enabled us to train Maddie out of early bad habits and the knowledge she left us with will continue to benefit Maddie for years to come. We are so very grateful to have gotten the chance to work with Eric. He was amazing with our little guy who is definitely on the high strung side with lots of energy and dominant urges. Its night and day with how he was when we first started to when we finished. I dont think hed be where he is without Erics guidance and patience. Hes extremely professional and educated in what a dog needs and how to go about certain behaviors that a dog has and how to counteract them. I am so happy with Michaels Pack training. Contacted Michaels Pack after years of frustration with, Dakota, our 8 year old lab-pointer mix. In our home she would look out the window barking at people walking, people walking their dogs, bike riders, buses . We would visit parks or the beach and she would be barking at people and dogs so much I would be embarrassed and leave.Our trainer Niki taught us new ways of correcting this behavior and in just a short time the improvement in Dakota has been amazing. We had the greatest experience with Michaels Pack! We recently rescued two Great Pyrenees mix puppies (7 mos. and 1 yr)... Deciding to make an investment in their obedience was a great decision, as it lays the foundation for a peaceful lifetime of well-behaved dogs. Michael gave us so many useful tools that have easily translated into our daily routine. We have had many trainers in the past who provided unrealistic tactics that werent practical or didnt translate beyond the training session. Definitely not the case here. We see a noticeable difference and have had neighbors and even strangers comment that they are such well behaved dogs. HIGHLY recommend!

We just finished our 8 week training course with Nikki, she was absolutely wonderful with our 9 month old lab mix named Bindi. Nikki knew exactly what we needed in terms of training, and she was patient and very in touch with us throughout each week. She would text, send instructional videos and links... and told us although the sessions had come to an end if we ever had any questions we could reach our to her. Bindi was always happy to see Nikki every Saturday!

Michael was our trainer. He did a great job not only training the dog, but training us on how to be better owners. He taught us techniques that really worked. We keep seeing better results as time goes on, even with out Michael. We werent sure if we could teach our 4 year old dog new behavior and we absolutely are glad that we gave it a try with Michael.We split our training between his location and our house, which I believe really helped. I would recommend Michaels Pack to puppy owners and those of older dogs.

We have a 4.5 year old GSD/Husky who is extremely friendly and silly but recently had developed some reactivity towards other dogs which we don’t like to see. We signed up with Michael’s pack and had the privilege of working with Eric Vissichelli for 8 weeks (we had a time crunch due to an upcoming move). We are so pleasantly surprised and thrilled to see the progress King was able to make with Eric’s guidance over this amount of time. He is now able to be within feet with other dogs and lay calmly without feeling threatened or anxious. He has also successfully been able to greet several dogs without issue. Although this was our main focus, we worked on many impulse control exercises and King’s over all demeanor and behavior has drastically improved. Aside from his amazing training abilities and knowledge, Eric was also great at communicating, punctual, friendly and accommodating. He was always reachable and has offered to remain available even as we move out of state. I cant even begin to explain how incredible Michaels Pack Dog Training was for me and my best friend Patty. Shes a 9 year old pit mix, who had a rough past before I met her. She loved people always but could not be in the room with another dog. Other trainers were skeptical to take her on due to the aggression, but Phil (a head trainer here) could see that deep down she was a great dog and just needed guidance. Within a few sessions, it was quick to see quick attitude adjustments with Patty.He uses positive reinforcement and treats, as well as some interesting tactics like fake dogs, distraction training and more. On top of making sure Patty learned how to be a dog, he made sure I understood what she was thinking and why she reacted when she did, so that I could help further her progress on my own. By the end of our sessions, Patty has been able to be left unattended with my moms new puppy Nacho.Its a no-brainer that if I were to get another dog, Michaels Pack & Phil are the first place Id go to make sure he or she learns to be a great dog.

We had Eric train our incredibly reactive dog and he helped tremendously. Now, we can walk around the house without our dog thinking the house is burning down. Eric was super reliable and flexible! 100/10 would recommend.

Excellent experience! Michael was always on time and patient with our dog, June. Our issue was her leash walking. She would bark, lunge and growl at cars, people, and other dogs on leash. He provided us with the tools we need to enjoy pleasant walks with our dog and to continue training her after our sessions have ended. Her professionalism and kindness worked wonders with our new Lab puppy...she was thorough, personable and helped us navigate as new puppy parents! My Norwegian Elkhound is pretty much my world. She’s a great pup but was in need of training. Adam is a great trainer and guided us both through the lessons. It was actually really fun and rewarding going over the commands and watching her slowly get better at walking on a leash. After 6 sessions I was very happy with where she is at and may do more advanced training in the future. Adam was also very patient with me which I appreciated because between my dog and me, I’m probably lower on the learning scale.

Michaels Pack is a great place with a group of highly skilled and empathetic dog trainers. They use positive reinforcement instead of things like choke collars or shock. Excellent experience with our trainer, David. In just a few sessions, our year-old dog has made great strides across all our important concerns. Shes significantly improved in not jumping on people walking in the door (shes big and powerful, so this was a huge problem), walking on the leash (great recommendation from David on a harness), and general behavior around the house.Highly recommended!

We have a 7 month old labradoodle who was constantly nipping and growling at us. Our 13 year old was afraid to approach Libby, but desperately wanted to play with her. After a few training sessions with Nikki, all that has changed! Libby no longer nips at us, and we can approach her without being afraid. Nikki has been such an excellent trainer and communicator. She calls/texts everyday to see how Libby is progressing; she is always “on-call” if we have any questions or concerns. The trainers at Michaels Pack are fantastic! They are not only great with dogs, they are equally great with the humans. We had owned dogs before, but when we adopted a severely skiddish rescue, we knew we needed help. Michaels Pack gave us the skills to be able to give Jack his best life!

We reached out to Michaels Pack after getting our 2nd French Bulldog puppy and seeing a stark contrast from our first in her comfort being left alone even for 1 minute. We tried to put her in a larger space like a pen, but she would whine non stop and try to escape. Michael put together a month long program for us to desensitize her not only to us leaving but also to the cues our puppy would pick up on when we would leave. During that month, wed have daily missions wed do with her every day with the goal being shell learn every time we was out the door well always come back and after a period of time shell be able to calm herself down. A month later shes way more comfortable and at times can be left alone for an hour and a half to 2 hours. The program was super helpful and worked us through a period where we werent sure if wed ever really be able to leave her alone for everyday essentials like groceries without getting a dog sitter. Would recommend this program for anyone whos dog may have separation anxiety.

Phil is a wonderful trainer with compassion and the knowledge to train your dog. A number of neighbors are also using his skills and are very happy. We have a large German Shepard that is now well behaved and not dragging my wife down the block. I enthusiastically recommend Phil if you want to benefit from his skills. My husband and I worked with Adam for two months.He was very professional and very responsive to our needs.He was available through text and/or phone when we had a problem.Our dog is now well-behaved and well-trained thanks to Adam. Eric is an excellent trainer. Our dog is a rescue and would resource guard his food & bed. Hard habits to break but Eric gave us the guidance we needed to establish a well behaved, trusting dog, who now follows commands. I highly recommend Eric, he is terrific!

I had the opportunity to work with Eric over 8 classes and couldnt be happier with the results. Eric was an excellent teacher in setting finite goals with each class making the training more concrete and the goals more tangible. He presented the training methods in a positive constructive light which made it easy to work with as well as real time adaptations to training which proved more useful when needed. Michael trained my dog to behave in all the ways I needed him to. However, my very favorite part of Michael’s Pack is indoor doggie playtime. It’s for dogs weighing up to 35lbs, it’s supervised by a trainer, and it’s ‘almost’ year-round. When it’s too cold/rainy for my 10lb lil min-pin to walk, at least I know he can run, jump, wrestle and play with all of his doggie friends. Even when the weather is beautiful, I’m completely secure knowing that every Sunday morning, my dog can play with his lil friends while I socialize with all the other doggie parents. It’s the highlight of the week for both me and my dog, we really just couldn’t love it more, and I can’t recommend it enough!!!!!

Phil was amazing! He worked with our whole family, was easily accessible, and most importantly helped us help our dogs. We were lucky enough to work with Nickie who helped turn our incredibly fearful and anxious dog O’Neil into a totally different dog. O’Neil used to not eat, would refuse to go outside with me, and was terrified of new people. He also showed resource guarding and was sometimes aggressive towards other dogs. We had a great experience with our trainer, Eric. Our puppy Bailey absolutely loved him and was so happy every time he came to our house. Bailey learned a lot from him and, as new dog parents, we learned a lot too. Eric is very responsive and always willing to help. He answered all of our questions either during our sessions or via text between sessions. We highly recommend him.

Riley was a fearful young Bichpoo puppy which is why I decided to work with Phil over the course of 5 private sessions. Now Riley is much more confident and able to hand new situations way better than he could a couple months ago. Phil was wonderful in helping me understand how I could continue to improve Riley’s behavior down the line. We did private lessons with Jen, who trained our new puppy Comet and showed us our older 8 year old dog Sammie can still learn so much more!!! Even after countless youtube videos and research, the way that Jen taught us, with such patience and care gave us the much needed technique and confidence that we needed as new puppy parents. Jen is such a sweet trainer and she showed our boys so much love and cheered them on every step of the way. Our older dog learned impulse control and shows improvement in obedience everyday. Comet our golden retriever puppy learned sit, stay, wait, come, leave it, drop it and is slowly working on loose leash walking. Jen showed us how smart dogs are with positive reinforcement, we would highly recommend her!
