Dog House Club

The Dog House Club is a great place to groom your dog. The prices are fair and the service is top notch. The twins Barbara and Monick did an absolutely wonderful job grooming my husky, Ace! They were so friendly and made us both feel completely at ease. Ace can be a little nervous around new people, but their gentle touch and calm demeanor put him at ease.I have been taking Ace to the Dog House Club for over two years now, and they always listen to everything I want for him and get it right. His coat looks fantastic, and he smells amazing! The twins even gave me great tips on how to keep him looking good between visits.What really impressed me was how happy and relaxed Ace was during and after his grooming. It is clear that they really care about the pets they work with and want them to have a positive experience.Its the best grooming service in New York, its always a happy experience to have Dog House Clubs services, only good recommendations if youre looking for a quality service at a fair price. Ace and I will be back soon !

The personal service and attention at Dog House Club is lovely, I have two dogs Luna and Maya and my girls love this place. We have always had amazing experiences, the grooming is exactly what I always ask for. I highly recommend DHC, they are the best in the Upper East Side.

This was one of the worst grooming experiences. The third photo is what she looked like before going in and the first two are after. They completely shaved my golden retriever. I guess if you ask for a cut in the summer, this is what you’re getting…

I have been taking my dogs Luck (Husk) and Billy (poodle) to DHC almost 1 year , we love the services, the grooming is always terrific. My dogs feel the love and affection when we get there.I highly recommend they services, also, the staff is awesome.We love DHC

My very anxious dog has been coming here for both daycare and grooming for the past 3 years. He is always so well cared for and exited to go! The entire staff is always attentive and communicative - I have peace of mind that my dog is in great hands here!!

Tupac my little dachshund is in love with everyone. They are do unconditionally loving! He has bad separation anxiety and gets nervous easily but he’s very comfortable here and comes home super tired and balanced ♥️♥️

The Dog’s House Club is our go to for our miniature poodle every 3-5 months!She’s having a blast and Monica is the absolute best in the city for Poodles!Highly highly recommended

My dog has been here for day care, overnight stays, and now grooming. All services have been wonderful, reasonably priced and done by a friendly team!

My dog alfred always gets excited when i say “daycare” and apparently memorized the way to get there. Hes also very excited if he ever sees one of the employees outside while were on a walk. Good place, good people!

Update: we went back after a great first experience. However it was far from it. The first time we went snoopy was done within 1 hour but this time it took 3 hours we even called to check in as well. After we picked him up and brought him home we noticed he was bleeding heavily from his front paw. It took 3 napkins to soak up the blood. We also bandaged him up and at the end of the day the bandage still had blood. He was bleeding for a few days afterward. It’s been over a week and he’s finally healed. But it was a really deep cut into the hard part of the paw. The groomer definitely knew that they injured my dog but neglected to inform us. If they had told us it would have been a different story, but to try to hide the injury is not ethical. My guess for why the groom took over 3 hours was that they were waiting for the injury to dry up enough for us to not notice upon picking him up. I am highly disappointed and will not be coming back.

I was pleased to see how my dog looked after his haircut but in extremely concerned why he came back home with bloodshot red eyes. I finally understood why his eyes looked like that. I noticed what it seems to be a dog bite on the side of his mouth. It’s all the way to the flesh as well. I’m beyond upset and confused why I wasn’t told about this.

They did a nice job, except they cut my dogs face and then when I brought it to their attention, they refused to take ownership of mistake, saying it was there before or “stains.” Things happen, but to lie about it is insane. A little neosporin and the little one was fine, but Im glad I noticed, or it couldve gotten infected.

They put the dogs out for 10 minutes at a time several times per day, into a small, enclosed backyard space where they bark and make an incredible amount of noise. Im a dog lover but its unbearable. The entire apartment block has to deal with it - small children, elderly folks - people in your community. The action is thoughtless and extremely disruptive. Several people including myself have reached out to Dog House Club, but so far no reply and the activity continues. Attached is a short clip of the noise as an example. I encourage current customers to bring this up to ownership or to consider other dog care companies that are respectful to their neighbors and the community.

Staff is kind,caring and very competent. Highlyy recommend these groomers.

They do a great job of washing cutting and grooming my dog. Friendly, fair prices and convenient to the upper east side. I recommend them without hesitation.

Great summer cut for the price! The staff are friendly and accommodating. My dog always wants to stop with her tail wagging whenever we walk by so she must’ve had a great time here.

I brought my two dogs, Bruno, a 13 year old Goldendoodle and a 5 month old puppy to the Dog House Club for grooming. The older dog had boarded there numerous times and I always felt very comfortable knowing he was well taken care of. The grooming was beyond my expectations and I couldnt have been happier. The older dog looks quite handsome and Im sure all of his pals are jealous at how handsome he now is! Luigi, the puppy, had a trim and looks adorable. A special thanks to Monica, the stylist, for the great job she did grooming both Bruno and Luigi.

Our dog loves going to Dog House Club for daycare, grooming, and boarding. The staff is so friendly and every time our pup attends, we know she is in good hands and she has a wonderful time.

Love that you can see the dogs playing, that the play area isnt hidden. Its always clean. They do a great job with not so easy to groom dogs grooming. They also alerted me that she had an ear infection.

My pup Cloud has been a regular since she was 6 months old. She is now a one year old and cannot wait to see everyone there. She knows exactly where the door is as we approach DHC. She has made a lot of doggy and human friends.

My dog Camille had a wonderful time here for boarding. They made sure she was well taken care of and loved. She will be back soon!

Is the second time I take my dog for grooming . After 2 years looking for grooming place that I get satisfied and closer to me, I finally found if. Monica is great and very sweet with my dog. Reasonable price for Manhattan

Me and my Goldador love Dog House Club. She drags me there and is super happy and tired when she leaves - can’t ask for anything more!

Ive been taking my dog here for since when they opened and no matter what he always wants to go back here. Sometimes Im not even dropping him off here and he doesnt stop pulling to get to the store lol!

Had no problem dropping off my two Bostons for an overnight stay. Picked them up the next day with no issues. The girls seemed to have an a great time. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Place smelled and looked clean.

Nice reception but too many dogs in one small room

Dog discrimination? I’ve never encountered a dog facility that discriminates against specific breed for dog boarding. My dog had stayed here before and he had an amazing time they said he was very shy but a good dog. A year and a half later I bring him back for boarding (I also emailed them 3 days in advance and didn’t get a reply) and I’m told by reception they have to call the owner to see if they can take him. The owner calls me back and tell me they no longer take pits and reception wasn’t aware. My dog is medium size and is only 50 pounds. He isn’t even pure bred pit bull, he’s a Amstaff. It’s very confusing when you post pictures of the same breed but when a customers brings that breed in for a service they are denied.

My dog is her happiest self at Dog House Club! She truly comes home exhausted from so much play! I love Dog House Club!

My dog Roo loves it here! We have tried a few others in the area prior to finding out about Dog House Club. All the other daycares he would pull backwards and refuse to go inside when we got close. However with Dog House Club he has been going weekly for six months (daycare and boarding occasionally) and happily walks to the door tail wagging to get inside every morning.

Great services, loved the pack walks. Very responsive, available, and caring.
