UP PUP

Up pup was the worst experience for me and my dog. They charged me extra for matted hair and then proceeded to shave him anyway. I wanted A Fuller look for my dogs face, but no, it was shaved like the rest of him. They make you sign so many disclosures when you come in. Obviously people are as unsatisfied with their services. I ended up paying double of what I usually pay for the worst haircut ever. Don’t bother going.

Weve been sending our dog to Up Pup since he was a puppy and he absolutely LOVES it there. We cant say enough good things about our experience with Up Pup - everyone there is so kind and loving towards all the dogs, the dogs have an absolute BLAST, and get great care. We also get our dog groomed with them and he always comes home looking adorable, and have used their boarding as well and trust them immensely. Up Pup is our dogs second home and we couldnt be happier.

My pup, Bryson, has been coming here for about a month now and he absolutely loves it! He gets so excited when we get to their door and doesn’t even look back when I drop him off. It’s always very clean and the staff is so kind. The daycare prices are very reasonable for the area and I’m looking forward to trying out the grooming soon. This was a great way to get him more socialized as a puppy. They do a great job of posting plenty of photos and videos on their instagram that I can peak at while at work. I highly recommend up pup!! Oh, and the best part is my pup comes home tired and sleepy!

Weve been sending our dog to Up Pup for daycare for about a year now. Wed tried a couple other daycares and she never really seemed happy there. However, she absolutely LOVES Up Pup. She tries to pull us there on every walk. Theyre extremely communicative and take excellent care of the dogs. Weve also used their grooming services for a few nail trims and their boarding services when were away on vacation. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this place to anyone!

Five stars isn’t enough to express my family’s love for Up Pup. As soon as our puppy was old enough to safely go to daycare, we started taking him here. We credit Up Pup with socializing him and teaching him how to properly play with other dogs. He always had the best time there. We always felt so safe and comfortable leaving him in such competent and compassionate hands.They are also very active on Instagram stories which is amazing so you can watch your pup all day!The groomer also does amazing work, and was our go-to every time he needed a bath or haircut. We also boarded him here multiple times and always felt comfortable doing so.We have since moved out of the area, and truly one of the things we miss the most is Up Pup. They are one of a kind professionals who will take care of your dog like they are their own. It really felt like his second home. Even though we no longer live in the area we would drive out of our way to board him here again, they are really that incredible.

My partner Beth and I had never owned a dog until late August when we adopted our beloved 11 lbs Poodle, Chihuahua, Pit Bull mix Poppy. We then interviewed 4 doggy day care centers on the Upper East Side before choosing Up Pup. It is unequivocally the best decision we have made for Poppy.When we pick up Poppy on our way home from work she is happy and exhausted at the same time which the perfect combination. Also, Joe and Bronwen are brilliant at their craft as well as straight shooters.Simply put: Up Pup is the best in the business.

Ive been sending my doodle Gouda to daycare and grooming at Up Pup for over a year now and am super happy with the care she receives. Her safety and happiness are extremely important to me and I was nervous to leave her with anyone at first, but I had to return to office a few days a week plus some socialization and playtime are good for her. She was nervous the first time but quickly grew to love it. She goes absolutely bonkers when she realizes thats where were headed, and she never wants to leave when I pick her up. Its been the same staff since I started taking her, so I never feel like Im handing her over to strangers. They accommodate snack time, which is great on the days she doesnt feel like breakfast. She also craves human attention and I can tell she gets plenty of pets and love from the staff! Gouda and I highly recommend!

We love Up Pup! They are our go-to for everything, from weekday/weekend dog sitting to longer vacations…and now we’re adding grooming! They truly love animals and treat your pet like their own. Our dog absolutely loves Bronwen and is always so excited to see her. We never worry about our dog and are at complete ease when he’s in their care. Strongly recommend!

LOVE Up Pup!!! My dog is so happy going to Up Pup for doggie daycare that she spins around in circles when I say the words Up Pup to her. I know she’s getting great care and I recently had them groom her and she looks great! Your dog will be super happy and so well cared for at Up Pup!

We love Up Pup! Our dog Bones has been there for daycare, boarding and grooming. He is always well taken care of, they have a great space for the pups, and post lots of photos and videos on Instagram. Joe and Bronwen are so friendly, and always willing to help me when I’m navigating a dog and a toddler, which is greatly appreciated!

We love Up Pup!! Me and my pup came and checked out the the place when it first opened and we are so glad we did! My dog always has a great time coming here, and I’m happy we finally found a place she feels comfortable in! I’m usually super picky when it comes to daycare and leaving my dog anywhere because she’s usually shy and other dogs tend to pick on her, but I have never had any issues taking her here and leaving her with them for boarding. Joey and Bronwen are the best and I am happy that we don’t have to look for a go-to spot anymore!

My pup, Luigi, is absolutely in love with Up Pup!! He can always tell which days he gets to go to daycare and is always running and jumping into Up Pup. He often gets anxiety being away from me, but he loves Up Pup so much that he doesn’t have it while he’s there. He even gets upset with me the days he doesn’t get to go and will try to plant himself in front of the building to get me to change my mind. The owners, Joe and Bronwen, are always so sweet and accommodating and I feel so safe leaving Luigi there with them. I love being able to watch Luigi on their Instagram stories while he’s there and I know he’s having the absolute best time. The dogs get to play both inside and outside and are never put in crates. The outside is also covered so there aren’t concerns about bad weather. I cannot recommend Up Pup enough!!

Up Pup is an absolute life saver! My dog Walter is a true COVID pup, with intense separation anxiety. We tried taking him to other daycares and he was miserable, so we avoided it at all costs. When Up Pup opened it changed everything — Walter isn’t just tolerating it, he pulls me through the door when we arrive, because he loves Bronwen and he’s having the time of his life playing all day! I trust Bronwen and Joe completely - they clearly care about each dog. Would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

Absolutely love Up Pup! Its been my puppys second home and he absolutely loves it there to the point where hed drag us there every time we walk him outside.We take our puppy there for day care as well as grooming, and they take such good care of him :)

Up Pup is fantastic! We loved Hudsons groom, he looked great when he came out. Also, they do a great job with boarding and daycare. We can tell all the dogs love it here - Hudson too. Highly recommend.

I just started taking our family’s English bulldog puppy to Up Pup for daytime dog care. Today she didn’t want to leave Up Pup. Every time she had a chance on the way home, she would turn around and strain at the leash to return to Up Pup. The owners are lovely people. Highly recommended !

Brand new Day Care, extra clean and looking comfy with different sections to separate dogs who wants to rest or play.Staff is extra friendly and seem to be very experienced.They sent me updates and pictures during the day and my dog is always very excited each time get there.They also offer grooming service.

My dog loves it here, whether for doggy daycare or grooming. I almost hesitate to review Up Pup because I wanna make sure she can still have a spot here.

This day care is the best! Our pup loves it here, they have reasonable prices, comfortable beds for the dogs, and are always responsive. He’s always so excited when we get to the door which is the best endorsement. Won’t go anywhere else!

This review is for grooming. We took our pup here and he had his worst haircut so far. Uneven throughout his body, including the top of the head and the ears. The groomer completely forgot his neck and a strip on one of the legs, the ears were not cleaned properly. On top of everything we were charged for a medium dog for a 16 lbs dog. I wish I wasn’t in a hurry during the pick up, as I would have totally asked for a refund. We will not be coming back.

This is a new doggy daycare in the UES, and it is great! My older dog loves it there, and is always so happy to return. Also reasonable prices, and no hassle booking. Highly recommend!

Our dog loves coming here!We used to bring him to a different daycare close by and he would always fight going. Now, he runs down the block and stops at the front door, hoping to get let in.

Rosie, our 1 year old Irishdoodle, loves Up Pup!! She travels from the UWS to hang with her buddies and when she needs it receives anything from a trim to a full grooming. We love watching the photos and videos posted throughout the day! Rosie is happy, well fed, given lots of love and exhausted when she gets home! Browen and the entire staff are wonderful! We cannot recommend Up Pup enough for the perfect amount of socialization and fun for furry friends!

Best new dog place on the East side. So glad I tried them out. I could tell my dog was happy with them and he didn’t want to leave. Will be back regularly when I have to go to work.
