Dirty and looks abandoned, dog owners don’t pick up after their dogs and trash everywhere, hope it gets a makeover. On top of it, dogs are scared of the subway noise from the Manhattan bridge and the skateboards in the skate park next to it. Who had the idea to create a dog run close to noises dogs are very sensitive to? Not. a great planning.

Not a bad dog run considering there aren’t many in the area! It’s pretty basic: Asphalt run with sections for big and small dogs—well shaded, nice big trash cans. Some cons: The smaller run doesn’t have seating and there aren’t any areas for dogs to get water. Also, it’s very loud from the trains on the Manhattan bridge, which might frighten some dogs. We’ll be back here, though!

Its a basic dog run, no frills. But the dogs that come to play are friendly and the dog parents are also friendly and respectful. Update: the parks dept. Needs to get off its kister and keep the dog park free from broken glass, trash, dog poop, and other debris. (the pics shown are not representative of what the park actually looks like.)
