North End Dog Run

Only dog park we’ve been to where time and time again the dogs and their humans are friendly and well behaved.The parks format is also notably awesome because they can actually run! No benches for them to crawl under and no fake boulders for injuries. Just a great time.

Great, shaded, safe place to get out and stretch your two or four legs.Not a lot of features but its nicely shaded/secluded with trees.

Im a dog walker/sitter & have a few clients in the area. I love taking them to this dog run! Theres 2 sections for big and small, water during warm weather, nice space & the dogs who frequent here and their pawrents I find to be way more laid back rather than judgey or sensitive like Ive experienced in other dog parks.

The big dog park is a great size. The small dogs park is okay, the rocks shorten their running span and it can get crowded really quick. Theres a pushy dog walker (black bobbed asian american) who hangs out around 11am and tries to pick up clients while she ignores the two dogs shes in charge of. She barks orders at other dog walkers and dog parents as if she owns the place. Sours the energy really quickly. My dog didnt like her energy so were going elsewhere even though its so close. Much better to take your small dogs to Leroy between those hours and avoid her ownership issues of a very small park.

Fantastic dog run. The dogs and the owners are well-behaved, friendly, and respectful. In addition to the drinking fountain, the dog run has a sprinkler system for dogs to play in the water. It is very well-kept and clean with plenty of shade from the trees that line the western and eastern edges.

Large, by NYC standards, for a dog run. This city block rectangle allows dogs to run and play. It can get boisterous, but there is a segregated small dog area. Tap on the floor sensor to activate the fountain. Sit back and watch dogs of all sizes cavort and let out pent-up energy.

Great dog run. Very friendly dogs and owners . Wish it was a little cleaner in the winter and spring while the water is turned off.

Very respectful and friendly dog owners and dogs. Safe and welcoming environment. Mostly locals.

Good for dog walking

Clean, nice people, nice dogs. Mostly small to medium breeds.

Occasional dogs pooping while owners dont pay attention...

Fun for little dogs to run!
