Parks Dog Run

Summer time isnt bad since it is covered and the hose is on, so its cleaner. But once the water is turned off, dont go, its not clean. Also, homeless people live in there so can’t use it when they sleep in there. Very frustrated for locals that we can’t use the park

I’ve seen a few dead rats in there and that’s so dangerous for the pups since most dogs would grab it or worse gobble it up. Not to mention, the trash is usually full and there is random food on the floor. The city really needs to mange it better!

Beautiful little dog park that is neglected by the city, almost never cleaned, water hoses are taken away in the winter In order not to freeze, but the park is situated under the FDR so it’s really clean.During the summertime the city says they clean it once a day, but they don’t.

Lots of room for dogs to roam. Its under the bridge so out of the sun. Nice magnetic closing doors hose available for clean up as well as sweeper. Not many dogs when I was there.

Nicely maintained dog run. Needs some upkeep and repairs however. Only run around that doesnt have 2 parts.... One for large dogs and one for small pups.

This is a gated off leash dog run. Its one area that both big and small dogs use, but Ive seen mostly small/medium sized dogs when I went. There is a water fountain, hose, trash can, and some obstacles for your dog to climb and play on. The ground is concrete and theres a small dipped area with a water fountain for warmer months. Its usually very clean and the dogs are well behaved. Its right by the water so if youre tall you might get a view. Its under the FDR so its got cover for rainy days, but there is traffic noise from above that might scare skittish dogs at first.

Nice dog run down by the water. Pretty peaceful if you go early enough in the morning. Nice mix of big and little dogs.

Impressed by NYCs dog park facilities, sprinklers, fountains, climbing structures, plenty of friends to play with.

I wish there were more bunches to sit on.

Nice park, could use some attention in the cleanliness area, but it’s good. Dogs all seem nice and what not. My dog enjoys it for sure. Just needs a bit of cleaning from time to ring
