Nice dog run, well behaved dogs!we like it better than Tompkins as it isn’t all sand/mud/dirt. Nice hose for dogs that like water and for rinsing off before you leave. Only flaw is that the middle brick area is very uneven and seems to be uncomfortable for the dogs to run on.

For NYC I think this is a great dog run. I wish that there were some softer services as it is all stone, but it never seems too crowded, the owners all have been very respectful, and there are some good views to be had of downtown Manhattan.Living in Stuyvesant Town, This would be my first choice over the internal dog park as well as Tompkins square when it comes to giving my pup a little place to run around. Very friendly owners and I, personally, have never had an issue with another dog.

Best one in area. Quiet enough to make phone calls from while the dog hunts the perimeter for squirrels. Lots of dogs to play with. People mostly pick up after their dogs. Benches all around. Good shade and sunny spots.

Spacious concrete park with nice people and friendly dogs. I bring my dog here from ues and he loves it. More space to run for him and less dirt later on, he’s always tired out on the way back 🐶

Love going to this park when Im in the area, but worth checking first on dog pack app to see if its too busy, which it can definitely be sometimes. Great park overall given the location.

Stuyvesant Square Dog Run is an adequate dog park for an urban environment. It is one of the larger dog parks in the Gramercy/Flatiron neighborhoods with a ton of room to run and play, but without the gravel, other nearby dog runs use underfoot. The park is a repurposed section within the larger Stuyvesant Square Park and therefore has the usual New York City benches that ring the entirety of the park. The park is very shaded and has cobblestone and paved areas. Theres no water available at this park, which is a drag. The humans seem to be slightly lax at picking up after their dogs defecate.

Clean. Most people have well behaved dogs. Just nice and relaxed. This makes the Tompkins park dog run look insane.

One of the better dog parks in the area. Cobblestone surface. Plenty of seating.

Inclusive, but responsible group, and a large reasonably clean area. The paved surface and good shade coverage make it an all season first choice for me in this neighborhood.

This is fine for an urban setting, but I worry about the cobblestone and concrete if a dog takes a tumble.

My favorite dog run in the area. It stays cleaner because of the concrete and cobblestones.

Large dog park with lots of trees and shade. The park is paved, which can be hard on the paws if your dog runs a lot. Mine prefers to sit in the shade so its perfect for us. Most other patrons and dogs are friendly, ive never see a tiff get out of control.
