Its difficult to convey how grateful I am that I found Adam. My dog is a real handful - hes anxious, reactive, and high energy. Other large high end boarding outfits in the city suggested we look elsewhere, and their trainers werent able to help him. Adam, on the other hand, instantly connected with my dog and showed him that he was a trusted caregiver. Adam has a striking ability to understand exactly what dogs need to put them at ease. His knowledge, experience and confidence makes dog owners comfortable when entrusting him with a dogs care. Hes really the best.

Adam was amazing! When we first got our puppy at only 10 weeks, we had a family celebration that meant leaving her alone on and off over a few days. Adam spent those days at our home with Kaia. He knew exactly what to do to make her feel secure and calm, and provided her with his skilled play and interaction. She was so happy with Adam, it meant everything to know we didn’t have to worry about her! We were so relieved to have met someone so knowledgable and loving, we’ve used Adam ever since. Today Kaia is three and we’ve always felt secure and comfortable leaving Kaia with Adam for anything that takes us away from home either for a few days or a week. Adam regularly updates us on their adventures, sends videos and photos, and makes sure if Kaia has any special needs, medication, exercise schedule or feeding schedule, he has a full understanding prior to our departure. We feel so lucky to have Adam in our lives and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone who goes above and beyond the simple description of dog sitter!

I had the pleasure of booking CityWags to care for my cat, Finn, at my home in Chicago while I was away on vacation for 10 days, and I couldnt be happier with the service! From the initial travel planning to the moment Adam arrived, I could tell Finn was in for a treat. Adam was not only friendly and professional but also clearly adored animals.Throughout my trip, I received regular updates and photos of Finn, which truly warmed my heart. It was evident he was receiving an abundance of love and attention. When I returned, I half expected Finn to be disappointed that I was back because he seemed to have had such a great time with Adam!CityWags not only tended to Finns basic needs but also went above and beyond to keep him entertained and content. Adam even took the extra step to tidy up a bit, which was a pleasant surprise!I cannot recommend CityWags enough to anyone seeking top-notch pet care. They truly treated Finn like royalty, and I am immensely grateful for their exceptional service.Thank you, CityWags, for providing Finn with the staycation of a lifetime!

We first discovered Adam and CityWags during covid in late 2020. Our longtime dog sitter had left the city and we needed to find a good sitter for our 5 or so trips a year out of the city. Our dog was a rescue with issues, like so many NYC dogs. She had only had one sitter for the 5+ years since we adopted her. CityWags owner Adam worked with us before our first trip to make sure they were a good fit and was wonderful with our medium sized mixed breed dog and her territorial issues. In the years since Adam and CityWags are our absolute first choice go-to, and weve used them for approximately 20 sitting jobs from 3-14 days, plus dozens of walks. Our dog adores their walkers and sitters, communication is excellent and prices fair.We therefore highly recommend CityWags

If you are someone who treats their dog like a child and your dog believes they are a human - Adam is the one for you.Roly Poly was getting really sick/hospitalised when we would go away, even with close friends, so leaving her with Adam required me to have a lot of faith and trust in him, and I spent a LONG time looking for the right person. What really sold me was when he told me that he would need to text me back in about 30mins because he was walking his clients dog and he didnt use his phone while out walking dogs. That kind of attention to your dog - in the same way you would - was what made me think he was worth a shot.Roly has been with Adam twice now, and she has been incredibly happy (and gets very excited to see him) and hasnt had any issues. It has been such a relief for my husband and I knowing that we can go away with 100% certainty Roly is being treated the way we treat her. I wouldnt leave her with anyone else now, I am so grateful to have found him.He will always text me photos of their adventures, pick up my neurotic phone calls and answer my paranoid texts (you probably see where the problem really is...). Like any human, hes not a mind reader, if you let him know what you need, he will figure out how to do it because hes really cares about what he does.

I would recommend Citywags, Adam in particular, to every pet owner I know. Trying to find last minute cat sitters in the middle of the summer turned out to be impossible. After finding CityWags, my cats I believe had a better vacation than I did! Adam is super communicative and clearly loves animals (which I can not say for all pet sitters I’ve had). Will use them again!

Incredibly rude. Called to get more info on their services and was hung up on. I said I needed the info in the next 10 min if possible and he was enthusiastic about it, took my info down. That was great and nice of him to have agreed to being able to send it so quickly. But then I figured Id add a little more color on what we were looking/hoping for since I already had him on the phone, and in case there was anything outside of the presumed boiler plate he might send. I dont think theres anything wrong with that. Usually someone with a business wants to talk about their business, but seems he wanted Ill send you the info to be the end of the conversation. I asked a few more questions but his answers werent very clear and he seemed annoyed. His tone got condescending when the questions I asked were catered to a more traditional doggy day care, but thats why I was asking, cause it wasnt clear and I wanted to get more info. He then said something about how what they do is very custom. I said, thats great! This is for my boss and we love custom! But his condescending tone continued, and he asked me Are you looking for information or telling me what you want? (or something along those lines) -- which I thought was a pretty rude response and Im not going to lie, prompted a condescending response back from me. He then asked me, Are you looking for a service or a client? which is a question I still dont understand, and then when I tried to say Okay, just send... he hung up on me mid-sentence. If he really wanted me off the phone, he could have said something like hey, Im sorry, I cant chat right now but let me send you the info which will cover your questions. You can reach back out if you have more questions and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.” -- but that’s not what happened. It’s almost like we misunderstood each other from the beginning. Basically a mis-communication gone wrong and handled very poorly, but I still dont think any of that warranted being hung up on.

The best dog walker/ sitter! My rescue dog is a biter and has been blacklisted from several places around NYC. Adam is the only person who’s ever been able to handle my dog! He’s vigilant about making sure people don’t pet my dog and handles him better than anyone. Another plus, he knows all the tricks such as - getting dogs to take pills and sends the best pictures/updates! Adam is super trust worthy, and has stayed in my apartment with my dog when I travel. EVERYONE should use CityWags!!!!
