We have been with Pooch Pals for over 11 years and our experience has been stellar- I honestly dont know what I would do without them here in the city. They have looked after our 3 French Bulldogs over the years with great daily care and have helped out with pet sitting, puppy training, and have brought a wonderful sense of fun to our dogs daily lives. Our current walker/trainer is Mike - the dogs love him and he is reliable, informed and great with the pups. I cannot recommend him (and Pooch Pals) highly enough!!! They are great.

We are SO happy with the service we received from Pooch Pals (I rarely write reviews but this one is needed!). Our French Bulldog, Rooney, has been on a few walks and had Mary over for a 4-day sleepover. She had the best time! They provide great updates with photos and are always super responsive and friendly. Even other folks in our building have switched to Pooch Pals, so needless to say the hype is true! Thank you Pooch Pals for being so caring to our fur-baby!

Nora has been absolutely wonderful with our terrier mix, Dewey and we’d highly recommend the Pooch Pal service to anyone in NYC looking for a dog walker. The scheduling and invoicing is seamless, and we love getting our daily updates from Nora. She really cares about our dog, and is great at noticing any little nuances about him to share with us. It’s so comforting to have her come to our home to walk Dewey every work day, she’s the best!

Our 2 French Bulldogs are the lights of our lives... but they are not easy. They have completely different dispositions and temperaments - one is easily excitable and frenetic, the other stubborn and suffering from some serious health issues. Allison at Pooch Pals has been there with us every step of the way and her care for our pups has been amazing. From her desire to really know and care for our dogs and bring out the best in both of them in their daily walks to her quality pet-sitting care when we are away on vacation, she has been been an incredibly important part of our Frenchies lives, and in so doing, has made ours much easier. In addition to her competence, it is her genuine love for our pups that makes her so good at what she does - I feel she has both the knowledge and the heart to make us feel secure that they are being cared for, on their daily walks and when we are away, in a manner similar to the love and care we provide. Allison and Pooch Pals are simply the best.

I couldnt have trusted anyone more than Pooch Pals with the safety and happiness of my puppy! We always knew she was in reliable, capable, and caring hands. Pooch Pals was a joy to deal with - always responsive, flexible, and accommodating. They are always there for us when we need them!

Working with Michael has been such a gift for us and our dog, Leika. She has made huge strides in her behavior since starting walk-and-train sessions with Michael. Michael has a very collaborative approach, which has allowed us to make adjustments to training approaches as Leikas behavior changed over time. This has been so helpful for us and for Leika, who wouldnt have done well with a one-size-fits-all training approach. Communication with Marc and Kimberly and the rest of the folks at Pooch Pals HQ has always been easy and clear. We are very, very satisfied members of the Pooch Pals community, and Leika is Michaels biggest fan!

After our training session with Marc, we felt much more comfortable about being able to handle any behavior issues that may come up with our dog. Marc is encouraging, gentle, and very skilled, and brings both expertise and common sense to his training. He’s conscientious about appointments and following up, and we know that we will be able to call upon him when we need to. He was terrific to work with.
