Nice use of space inbetween a very busy thruway. the pool basically in need of being totally demolished and rebuilt. A far more utilatarian use of the space would be to build a indoor pool of a lesser size( the city does not have the guards needed to monitor a pool that size) that would be open year round and use the other space for other activities.
Great park for hiking. Clean park. Nice views of Harlem river.
A beautiful park with a lot of ongoing restoration projects, such as American chestnut restoration project. The park is operated by The New York Resoration Project, an NGO that inspires privetly owned foundations to invest in this type of project. This park, along with Inwood Hill Park, is one of the last wetland sanctuaries in NYC. Our city has already lost approx 70% of wetlands.
I always enjoy visiting and walking, biking or running down the paths of this enormous linear park. Being engulfed in nature is relaxing and worth a visit. You see views of the Harlem River and get on High Bridge which connects Manhattan and the Bronx (car-free). The greenway offers access dedicated space for biking.
Beautiful, historic park filled with activities and playgrounds for everyone. Plus the historic High Bridge pedestrian walkway which is open to the public from 7am to 7pm everyday.
As far as parks go, this is probably my second favorite place to take a walk by myself. Its so expansive, you can spend three days here and still see all new places. Immense. LOTS of private areas to relax without being interrupted with noise or nosy people. Excellent place to reflect and be alone, or to spend time with a friend or buddy and enjoy the outside air.
The view in the middle of winter isnt that great...but in the summer and spring items beautiful with all the trees and plants. Breeze is amazing and calming. I would definitely recommend coming here for a picnic or just relaxing
It is a beautiful park I like it I like flowers and the tree I like to sit down and watch the water and watch the boat passing it is a very beautiful Park and clean you can go there ride your bike or have a picnic or walk around and its always a police officer watching around for any nonsense..they real take Care of that park keeps up the good work and pool clean too..
I grew up in Washington Heights from the late 80s till 2008. The bridge and everything behind Highbridge pool was always closed, full of stolen cars and homeless people its great to see that they have cleaned up everything and made walking paths for people to enjoy the history thats back there
On return from biking from Roberto Clemente State Park to Astoria I and my six years old took the advice of a DOT advisor and chose the high bridge route. The views were stunning on the High Bridge. My little son was so happy with the green pathway 🏞️ after the High Bridge and the Central Park scenic route he didnt complain about the twelve mile distance even once! 💚He was singing along the way.
Very nice views. Pretty high up. It was used as a water reservoir. You can cross it and end up in the Bronx.
Absolutely stunning park with plenty of greenery and a way to disconnect from the urban environment nearby. Offers a little isolation and not a high of amount of pedestrian traffic. Beautiful views of the High Bridge. Plenty of easy access for pedestrians and bikers like.
A very beautiful place to walk/jog especially the trail. It isnt as large as most other part but certainly long and beautiful to think and wander.
Highbridge is a clean, safe family friendly park. Since the pool, playgrounds, baseball fields and courts are closed its more quiet than usual. During COVID you can still find folks picnicking and exercising, lots of dog walking too. Very enjoyable
Love this park! When you walk through, you can appreciate the city and nature. Now lights are being install which will add an improvement in security. Nice job 👍🏽
Great place for a walk, jogging or bike ride since the park has been restored in 2015. Beautiful scenery too!
Its a nice little park to sit down and take in the view or a nice stroll across the bridge. You get an excellent view of the Harlem River, the Major Deegan highway or Harlem River drive. During the early days of summer is the best time to walk the bridge because of the cool evening time and the amazing sunset view from the bridge.
Perfect for running and and worknig out. Is also good for just sitting down amd relax
Now that the leaves are gone the beauty is dormant but the drama of the city is on full display. The river, the highways, the Bronx, and the bridge still make the hike worthwhile.
Beautiful experience with my husband and my son. We biked through here and had to stop for the view and of course some photos... Lovely place to enjoy a nice breeze and view.
Look dirty and abandoned. Many double parking car on the street dont let people walking safety around
One of my favorite places to go especially in the summer!! There is a beautiful meadow on the lower level that is like out of a movie.
One of the most underrated parks in all of New York City! Many different trails and paths that can lead you to places that you wouldnt even believe are Manhattan. Highly recommend.
Features unpaved trail with a view of the Bronx and a Highbridge, of course. Parts of this park are currently under reconstruction. Its a part of multi million revitalization program by NYC Parks.
One of the oldest bridge crossings in NYC. Great route across the East River from the Bronx to Inwood Park
This nostalgic historical bridge that has been refurbished is an ideal unobstructed method to commute from the Bronx to Manhattan. The ability to walk, jog, or ride a bike without worrying about car fumes is refreshing during the day. There are a few benches to sit and watch the boats riding along the river. The only safety concern is that once you walk the bridge from the Bronx towards the Manhattan path, there are no lights to guide you once it gets dark. People have been seen using flashlights and walking accompanied to avoid traversing alone; although the bridge is closed and not accessible approximately after 8pm.
Love the many trails secluded areas to be alone but be careful sometimes to secluded
So beautiful a lot of people bring chairs and music and have a nice time
The park itself is mostly clean, just at the bridge connecting from the park to the Bronx is dirty. There are many playgrounds for the kids to play in. Theres one playground in every 10 blocks or so. Theres also a Mountain biking course at the northern side of the park. HighBridge Park is a very good park for everyone with some outside interests.
Always a lovely walk, up close w nature the views are awesome and you get to see 2 Boros.
Great open public space with a bridge connecting Washington Heights and the Bronx and some terrific views of the Harlem River and Manhattan.
It such a beautiful place for a walk, stroll and even a bike ride. It also has a pool, playground and picnic area.
The place is very clean and safe. It is surrounded by trees and so the air is fresh. This is a great place to bring your family and friends.
Off the beaten path less used park, great connection over to the Bronx via Highbridge pedestrian overpass. Also a low traffic alternative throughfare and nice way to avoid the hills of the westside on the Harlem River Path. Lastly there are dirt jumps and legal mountain bike trails in here actual elevation and some interesting runs, wouldnt want to fall in here alotta strange items on the side of the trails nonetheless very cool.
There is a lovely paved path on its northernmost eastern entrance heading south. The bridge, however, isnt the only thing thats high. Keep your eyes open for used needles on the ground! The graffiti museum under the Bridge is gorgeous and love the maps pointing out the starting point of the Old Aqueduct Trail.
Highbridge Park, a wonderful quiet hideaway that my dog and I enjoy everyday!! Has a great trail that goes up to a walkable bridge that lets you end up in the Bronx. The scenery along the trail is awesome and peaceful...My dog, PETRA loves running and sniffing every part of the woods!! Bring your dog and lets enjoy them enjoying nature in the middle of Manhattan!!
It was a great place to visit especially the water tower.
Oh them Dominican boys after dark are so between my legs
Nice place to walk over even on a rainy day. The view is not scenic more industrial views if you like that kind of stuff. Interesting history associated with the bridge. I wish they would beautify both sides more to make it more a destination from both sides. Easy to get to via subway. I recommend this nice walk over!
This place has gym, dance room, sports and pool
Spectacular Views coming off the GW rite by High Bridge Pk. Routes for Cycling as well
Absolutely love this park. It sits at a higher elevation, allowing for great views of the surrounding areas. Lush with trees and with unpaved, sometimes non-existent walk paths, it makes you feel like youre in a forest until you hear and see the road traffic beneath the park. There are natural exposed rocks like the ones in Central Park. The autumn colors are amazing, similar to the famed foliage of New England. There is a path to an aqueduct-style walk bridge, which you can cross to get to the Bronx.
The bridge and directly adjacent parts are very nice, but the areas to the north end are decrepit and strewn with syringes. Ashamed that this is an nyc Park when it could be a very nice area.
Love walking in the park. Great for daily exercise routines.
This was my second time here and I loved it all over again
The LOUD EXCESSIVE MUSIC PLAYING NON-DISCRETIONALLY at all time of the day and night in this area is absolutely OBSURD!!! Is anyone else suffering from this? It’s def coming from the highbridge area. It’s sickening how these people BLAST music from 2pm in the afternoon until 6:45am the next day. By 7am, they’re finally packing up and ready to sleep peacefully without disturbance. They cone back and do the same thing every single day. This is an ongoing issue thats affecting so many peoples quality of life.
We are currently working on the water tower, and i gotta say the view is amazing from above. You guys tell me what you think
Nice pass to get over and bike by the west side bike lanes
This is my spot for a great run! I love the idea of running from The Bronx to Manhattan in less than 5 min and vice versa.
A nice place to explore and spend some time with the kids. They have events organized by the parks dept. and they have a public pool as well.
Very clean pool. The only problem was that ever few minutes the kids were finding rusty nails all over the pool. Mostly in the little ones section. Fortunately no one stepped on any of them. Oh and my bathing suit was stained by the rust on the grates at the edge of the pool. Aside from that, all staff we encountered were nice.
Natural, fresh air and a safe atmosphere to visit and spend time with Family and friends!
All this years living in The Bronx, and I never came to this bridge. A bridge that serve a important purpose for this City. It was awesome for me to visit this forgotten Bronx landmark.
Nice park if you wanna just walk around and breathe in so mother nature. Park can be dirty at times but has gotten a lot better in the last couple of years. Pool in the summer and rec center all year. Even a jungle gym for kids. Park is small and dirty at times my only compliant
Beautiful. What a renovation. I was lucky to witness the great renovation and even read about it. It was a wreck. The homeless used it as a safe haven. Monumental! The work seemed to go on and on. However, today itsnot only beautiful but clean with a great view of the Bronx (Yankee $tadium. What a great bit of history. Check it out.
I truly love coming here during the winter time. The view from this park is so beautiful and you can have a clean view of the city. .. During the summer time it’s too clogged with people and this isn’t a place I would recommend if you don’t want to someone too close to your side.
Its a beautiful park and they offer many different things to the community from exercise, swimming lessons and many more. They have a large Olympic pool and a big kiddie pool for small children. They offer many activities for everyone from children all the way to senior citizens.
Pretty good park, definitely has the neighborhood flavor. Pool is big but could definitely use a renovation (plus some seating on the pool deck would be nice). Bring flip flops and a lock (they dont let people in without a lock).
Highbridge park is beautiful, but it could use some improvements. I know the city has been working to update some of it, Ive seen the updates. But I wished there were plans to add more garbage cans. Maybe it would I courage people not to litter there. It used to be an easy 5 stars park but people have been leaving their garbage everywhere. I see the odd garbage can is being used because its full. We all need to do our part.
This park is getting better every year thanks to the efforts of the parks department and volunteers. The views are great and a walk across the bridge is a unique experience. The surrounding neighborhood has good food to offer, an experience in itself
By far my favorite place in Highbridge, makes all the drama worth it when you can just walk across the bridge in peace. (Side note, on the Harlem side of the park it is definitely a male hookup spot so I do not recommend going that way after dark)
Great place thanks to NYC!
Awesome view of the Hudson River.
I love this park! It has everything. From trails which you forget your in manhattan, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball field, grass fields, sitting areas, and my favorite the two dog runs. One for larger breeds & one for smaller breeds. Both include fresh running water, pools with small pebbles grounding for no dust, good drainage and easy clean up.
Great views... I may have come at a bad time as the bay was low and emitted a stench that I couldnt stay to long, was getting a headache. But I can totally see myself coming back when the tide is higher and have lunch on the beautiful patio.
Its a nice, safe place for exercise or relaxation. Its clean for the most part and well maintained.. The view from the footbridge is a stunner! Be prepared to capture many images for your scrapbook.
I love this park but could we finish it?? I was walking around with a toddler for an hour and a half because we found ourselves at dead ends several times. We followed a path and then it was gone. We finally got out except we were blocked by a construction site.... so I taught a 2.5 year old how to slide on his belly under a gate. So.... finish the park.
Beautiful park. Theres a walkway down to the restored bridge and you can cross over to the bronx. Wonderful views and so much to do. Theres a pool, playground, small baseball field and of course lots of places to sit and have a picnic if you want. Theyve cleaned up this park and its great
Baby pool is closed due to something about the filters which they should have fixed. Parking sucks. Bathroom is horrible and can use renovation. They closed the deep end
The bridge itself is nice to walk. Would recommend with a friend or 2.
An outdoor park with multiple sections to do different activities with your children and family. Great for family picnics and gatherings, also to play many diverse sports and games with your kids. One of the best places to make any of your plans happen. If you are from the neighborhood, its very close to everything.
The best on Washington Heights .for sports including swimming .and we can do our Rumba.
Very busy! Lots of teenagers. If thats okay with you then its cool. Water is very clean. Definitely trad the rules before you go. Bring a lock to put on your locker. Free!
Highbridge pool, playground, field, and park is a vital resource of nature and recreation in Da Heights Over 25yrs my family and neighbors love this park!
I love Highbridge & so do my dogs 🐶 🐶
Visiting, walking along Highbridge Park is refreshing, invigorating. It always brings me a lot of memories since I have lived in the neighborhood for such a long time and I am familiar with this park. It looks clean, neat. Id wish the Watertower section would be open.
Beautiful open area great for kids and picnics
Great views, definitely worth the trip on the A train.
Very neat space especially in the summer as its lively and reminiscent of a more calm peaceful time. Its a good space to just enjoy a summer day or have a stroll to experience a neighborhood
A great place to go for a swim or workout. If you plan on using the pool, they strongly encourage you to bring a lock. The staff are pretty strict about following the rules.
Awesomely challenging hardcore urban mountain biking trails. Nice dirt jumps up at top as reward for climbing from lower flowing skills section. Various sections to learn on or flow together at top section from rock gardens and rooty to water logs and rollers. Just know your limits and be aware.
The pool here got renovated 2 years ago and the pool is incredibly popular. Theres 2 huge pools with one specific to children and the other for more adult crowds. I would definitely go again
I remember this park back in 73-75, I was just a young boy , went walking, swimming, played baseball, went to the swings or just explore. Man that was so much fun! I lost mom and two sisters along the way and I guess when I look at this park it reminds me of them, cant believe it still brings me to tears. Do yourselves a big favor, forgive one another, love one another, care for one another. Be blessed , may Gods richest and best be yours.
Beautiful long riverfront park in Washington Heights along the Harlem River
I use to go here all the time when I was a little girl. Its a huge park. Beautiful view. They have a huge pool. Theres always vendors in front selling food and icecream. They have lockers. You can come and walk around or even do excersise or go bike riding. When I was little my mom use to go and play bingo in this park. They sometimes do festivals and concerts here or even do fundraising. Theres stores across the street. When you come for the pool you have to wait in a big line so try to come early so you wont wait as much. This park is very old been here for years.
I always go to the pool here during the summer, its okay but sometimes when one person does something stupid a bunch of other people follow and then everybody gets kicked out. And it sucks sometimes because you cant even bring in water to drink if you get thirsty & they dont even have vending machines inside where you can buy some .
The only park in New York City with a professional grade BMX track. The water tower tour is a must do. Be careful on their off road track. If you fall you can go 20 feet rolling down hill.
It has a pool and its where the Major League Domino players are at. Friendly ambiance, kids park, 10 feet pool and a kiddie pool. It has a Kids play ground, tons of open space ***it also has a solar panel charging station*** how cool is that? It has a baseball field too. And a walking bridge that takes you to the Bronx aaaaand a YMCA
Love this pool my family & I go to this pool its big & it have a bby pool off to the side that go up to 2 feet & the other side go from 3 feet to 10 feet this pool is the best & they also give lunch at 12pm . If my family and I love it I know you will
Went looking for the skatepark, the way there was crazy sketchy but the park was pretty cool
Wow ! The city fix this place really good . Great view from all directions . Definitely worth taking a trip there.-1 for the occasional smoker see there ,overall the place and the view are phenomenon. Highly recommend you take a trip on a sunrise or a sunset
The tower is a well constructed Romanesque Revival structure, with great view to northern Manhattan. The renovation was done well, maintaining its architectural feature.
Its simply lovely, with playgrounds and ball fields and basketball courts. Theres also a pool! It would get 5 stars except that there always seem to be hookah smokers around!
Its a nice park just watch with the tigers or as americans would say hoodlums. Nice place thoAs a young kid i was swiming in the nice pools they have only to come back to my locker being rob and broken into had to walk home in bare foot no shirt and wet with trunks on
I love to come here to swim. The pool is huge and it has a deep section too which allows you to dive. Its never too busy to swim your laps either.
The pool is big and clean, o like to go for the first shift when is nice and quiet. The rules are very strict but just relax, dont forget your lock and bri h a good oaperback.
Great views of the city! This is a must see for native NYers and people who are visiting. Its a hidden gem and the bike trails leading up to it are in great condition well maintained. You are riding along and all of a suden you come to an opening and there is this bridge that connects Washington Heights to the Bronxs. The views are amazing and there are a few benches to sit and enjoy the views.
Great experience at this park. They had been renovating some of the areas and it looks so much better. I just love taking long walks here.
A perfect place for skate boarders. Safe place for kids from noon to dusk. Also great for views of Manhattans Eastside and the Bronx. With a jogging and walking trail. The walk on the newly renovated and opened walkway across the Harlem River. Great views during the day of the Eastside of Manhattan and the west side of the Bronx. But at night the view is more magical. Try it out.
Majestic views up & down Hudson River from way above water from High Bridge. NYC skyline, Palisades cliffs, Washington Heights, Cleopatras Needle, several bridges. Quiet oasis in bustling city. Completely renovated and rebuilt w new playgrounds and exercise areas. High Bridge gate gets locked at night on Bronx side
An awesome place for all kinds of outdoor activities. I love it specially bc it has a Mountain Bike Trails and Dirt jump area. Also has many basketball courts next to the MTB trails which is very cool.
We did not explore the entire park just a playground. Honeslty i did not really like it. It was dirty, there wasnt much of a playground, and the adults in the basketball court have no respect for the fact that there are little ones very close.
First time going to the pool with my friends, I have to say it we okay just not the best. Why?? Because they enjoy throwing peoples money away instead of returning it back. My eyeliner pencil and my friends UNO cards were thrown away without an explanation. My friend asked if she can give them back, they said no and threw them away in front of us. I understand there are rules and regulations but it doesnt look right. There are lockers, they could have just returned our items and we can put them away or better yet, have ALL of the pool rules outside the pool enterance. After the pool my friende and I saw a full 2 liter soda in one of the garbage bags along with other material that is just a waste. I had to speak with one of the workers who was very nice to explain why are they throwing away some of our belongings. The rules arent clear and theres a chance I will not return to this pool. However, I dont like holding grudges against this place in general the pool is nice and there are lots of lifeguards who keep an eye out for people in the water I just dont like the service.
Not much here but there is some wildlife so thats nice!
Great, they have one of the most biggest public swimming pool in New York City during summer, all you need is a lock and a bathing suit to enjoy the pool, Its free.
Loved it. Loved all the new walking/bike paths. Check out my video riding behind the new Edgecomb/Highbridge path on 167th n Edgecomb. Ball courts at the bottom.
Beautiful walk in the trees to a pedestrian bridge crossing the Harlem River, connecting WaHi and the Bronx. Just reopened the iconic water tower for scheduled tours by park rangers.
Probably one of the better parks in Washington heights, and its pet friendly. Very clean! Be weary at night because their are some giant squirrel bandits near the darker edges of the park.
Not a very big park, however its trail does extend from about 158th street to about 172nd street so its safe to say the trail is fairly distanced. You have the actual High Bridge at the top North end of the trail, which also offers a different view at the center of it, and a great view of the Bronx across the Harlem River on the East side. If you stay on the trail you can have yourself a pretty good run and its not often crowded so it offers a little relief from the average busy NYC streets.
They finally after years of deterioration, they have renovated and open the bridge for everyone to walk in it, though getting there from the Manhattan side in the park is dangerous if youre not careful. Back then you can see the bridge from Washington bridge not too far (the bridge connecting Manhattan and Bronx) but would never cross it because of the state it was. Some people did tend to pass through the barricade, and went in, (before camera phones were invented and people taking selfies) for the thrills.
Its good during the 1st session. The second session has too many people. Its a younger crowd who dont know how to behave much. Some staff do not know how to talk to people.
I love the bridge to the Bronx, even if its shorter than I thought it would be. The pool is pretty cool. There are a couple of playgrounds. Parking in the neighborhood is scarce.
The park is lovely right now. Theres alot of things for kids to do. If no kids theres quiet places to go. I say just make a day of it and enjoy.
I had a awesome time the pools are great the place was clean the only i didnt like was the locker situation there outside they used to be inside the building
A bit on the dirty side. Given the pool is there, theyre prone to alot of people traffic but if you want to grab a quick and cheap bite, theres people selling food everywhere.
A lifeguard was harassing my brother to go to the 3 feet for no reason because my brother is gay. It doesnt matter if he is gay or not. I thought lifeguards are suppose to save you if your drowning not laugh at you just because you are something different.I think the should fire him.
Great view 😍
This is a wonderful park. Its space is big and it has enough space to organize and coordinate for any public events or any occasion as well as for family picnics even concerts.
The bridge is cool. Theres a nice isolated road for cycling and running. The good thing is to get there there is long steps down, going up is the bad part.
Great recreation center. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Its clean. The equipment is well-maintained. My only complaint is parking
This park is awesome .lost of sights and lost of friendlys the pool is 10 thats a big plusss the have 2 sessions they also have akiddy section life guards and like I said friendlys.. bring your own combination lock no floties for ur babies they arnt aloud aside from the pool the walk around and in the park was great lots of trees with pathways u cant get lost I took my friends through the bushes and found some great chill spots ...but also bump into the deeper part where it was nasty filthy and fool of needles from crack heads
We went swimming and had a great time!
One of the nicest place in the Bronx for a short walk. If riding a bike, you can take 155th st, jump over the highway and ride all the way till the end of Harlem River Drive, then take some pictures of the Boat House
The park was so nice and clean. The park was so peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed the lake and taking pictures.
Nice park. Like the walk across the old old aquaduct to the Bronx. Not a very crowded park. Some parts of the path way out are a little rapey feeling.
It’s a nice part there’s there’s a lot ofNo spaces and children to do different activities and then on Monday I want to go on a trip on there because I’m going to have a field day also there’s a playground
I lived in the Bronx back in the 60s ,grew up over there in South Harlem area. And it brings back memories when crew of friends go up there to high bridge park and go swimming. Afterwards eat outside before heading home, frenchfries at the vending truck. It was a lot of fun!
The water sprinkler should have been working today. The weather was very nice and warm. The kids would have enjoyed it
Super cool place i go there since 2003 n i love it! Very clean ,nice & safe for kids & families as well😍😍😍👌👍👍👍🌊🌊🤽♂️🤽♂️🏊♀️🏊♀️
Decent restroom if ur a girl only the ladies room is such I guess 🤷
Come and try our trails, I built a drop in this park it’s a wall drop, you don’t need a lot of speed to do it it’s about 5 feet tall try it!!! Also we have a pump trak and jump line
Its a very decent Park where you can sit down and write a few chapters of your book .
Great big swimming pool ,as well as one for children clean fun awaits youLocker rooms available just bring your own lock.
I enjoy taking walks through this park and across the bridge. It has good views and it is a great way to get a decent walk in.
Very nice and clean park. Feels like a completely different environment while still being in the city.
Needs a little of TCL ... And a RESTROOM
Good place for walk, run or just pass a good time in peace out of house. Really beautiful views. Good persons who help you with you activities.
Great. Awesome environment. Great for athletic activities. Great way to spend a day doing active things. I had a really good time.
All down hill and just ramps. To get to the park you have to walk thru the most and do the most all at once highly recommend for BMX and roller skates.
Thats my mountain bike there in the pictures its a pretty cool little park lots of glass so on the trail so make sure you have puncture strips theres even some Adventure trials I cant do definitely worth it for free especially in York City grab your mountain bike come on out and get your backflip on
Fun trails for walking or biking. The now-open bridge has great views, and theres a shaded seating area and water fountain in the east side.
Nice cool walk it takes 15 minutes to cross to Manhattan from the Bronx dont go at 🌃 I didnt see any cameras or police 🤔
Very nice, hospitable and professional staff. I took my mom over to get tested and they were so accommodating
So great! Beautiful views! Only problem is the dog poop people forget to pick up!
Very nice bridge for pedestrians!
Good park, if it was bigger it would be much even better, it really feels good to walk to it, or to ride the bike, it really fills the lungs with fresh air.
It always a pleasure to be at the place seem I grew up in this neighborhood....all my childhood memories that comes from here its amazing.... I love it
Big excellent pool. All communities tend to flock at this pool. Good people, large pool for a day of family and fun.
I like this park.
Great park, the recreation center offer fitness classes, including zumba, cardio kickboxing, arts, huge pools during the summer and much more.
Nice place for a stroll with areas for the kids to play and some scenic views.
Theres something about oar(a. Best place to be when lost. Or when you feel tired. You can really clear yourself. Your thoughts. Your insides. Totes recommend.
It was great to visit this historic park and finally cross the oldest pedestrian bridge in NYC. I only wish I could have gone inside Highbridge Tower. I would pay for the privilege.
Cool park, nice bridge. But the place is on the edgy side. Should be OK for a group of 6+ physically fit people.
Great place to spend the day especially the hot summer also very clean and modern.
All parks in the Washington heights area are good , I cant say anything wrong about any of them.
Been there done that, I took a walk around that park numerous times and it took me to relax, enjoying my time for myself.
I did overtime here for their opening, and made some good money and hours...
Love walking to this park also really enjoy the pool. I have been going there since I was a teenager
Very lucky to have this in Manhattan
I love this park, nice walk/bike trail, great few from pedestrian bridge and huge pool which goes to 10 ft deep.
A wonderful walk along the old Croton Aqueduct from Washington Heights to the Bronx, crossing Highbridge. The marked trail begins on Edgecombe near 150th Street. For accessible participation, a paved path begins at155th and Edgecombe.
I love the fact that its so big. It dont matter how packed it gets you will still have space to swim.
Was so nice, a little dirty, because the people not care the child ans dogs, but fine after all. Recommend..
Its a nice scenery high above but just average on street level nothing to boast or brag about
Great pool but does get crowded. They have a pool area for babies too!
Nice bike path. Great views. Lots of greenery. Dominican culture. Water n bridge. Great people.
Beautiful views from a dirt path
Has the most beautiful view. Its relaxing and wonderful place have a piece of mind.
One of the best park in the Bronx , nice view, good place to work out here and also can cross to Washington heights In Manhattan....
The pool I went to as a child has cleaned up and got better with security, not bad for a public pool
The mountain bike trails are really great, especially considering theyre in NYC and I dont have to drive there
It is a beautiful place to pray
Besides it is located close to the subway the neighborhood is squelchy and you must be careful, it is a good place to attend a free concert and have a picnic or go outdoor for some sport activity
I just wish the bathrooms were a little more cleaner but i cant complain muvh because it is a public bathroom.
The worst park I have ever seen! Filthy! There was even a heroine spoon on top of the empty to dispenser in the restroom. Full of thugs. Not a nice place.
Is a great place to exercise, enjoy the fresh air, excellent view and spending time with family and friends. I love the highbrishe Park!
Even after heavy snowstorm the park was well cleaned and maintains good trails & views.
Nice park in the city. There is courts to play sports and lots of open area with grass to walk around. One can walk the bridge.
Its a decent neighborhood park gets better every year good views great local food surrounding area.
After all the work they have done to this park. Its become one of my favorite places to ride.
Ive havent been here since I was a child. To come back yrs later with my own children was a dream come true.
Horrible pool. The staff rush you when they are ready to leave and force everyone to get dressed in the open area. Very disgusting. They also close the pool bathroom when the second session is up.
My popular for recreation with the residence of the Washington heights area....
Absolutely beautiful bridge! Lovely park, lush greenery, and rock formations... plus a great pool!
Nice walking path with a great view, takes you from the west Bronx over to Washington Heights 165th and Amsterdam Avenue. Great exercise!
I like coming to this park and just relax!
Highbridge Park is located in Washington Heights on the banks of the Harlem River near the northernmost tip of the New York City borough of Manhattan, between 155th Street and Dyckman Street. The park is operated and maintained by the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation. Prominent in the park are the Manhattan end of the restored High Bridge, which was re-opened in June 2015, the High Bridge Water Tower, and the Highbridge Play Center
My nephew saw In The Heights and loved it! Had to take him to Highbridge Pool to commemorate! He loved it! #washingtonheights
The beautiful park was so natural , nature boys paradise , but the crack and K-2 smokers messed it all up
