Biscuits & Bath - Midtown West

Biscuits & Bath Midtown West location is outstanding. I have three dogs and the staff there has helped make our lives better. Our youngest pup is high energy and goes to daycare every weekday. She thinks that Biscuits & Bath is her home and she just sleeps at our place at night. Her tail wags endlessly as soon as we get to the door.The manager, Sierra, is incredible. She goes above and beyond daily to help socialize our youngest pup. She is caring, kind, supportive, and knowledgeable. Frankly, we couldn’t do it without her and her wonderful team. Sierra checks in with us regularly and does whatever she can to make sure all of our needs are met. If you have a dog in the area, there is no place better than Biscuits & Bath. We are so lucky to have Sierra and the team.

We have been taking our puppy here for a couple of months. He absolutely L O V E S B&B! Every single time he realizes we are taking him here, hes thrilled.For us, dog parents, taking our dog to B&B gives us the complete peace of mind that our pup is in great hands. The staff is truly amazing! They have not only helped us with our pup lunch, meds, and socialization but also with his training! Seeing him master new commands in no-time is a true joy.

I’ve been trying to schedule a full bath for my dog twice and I ended up not doing it.That lady at the register, every time she says we have to fill up a form, instead of making it look like a quick and easy process, her face and voice makes it look like a hard, long and a boring process, that’s why the first time I didn’t complete it, but decided to give it a second chance, but same thing.She just didn’t give me the confidence and trust I need to take care of my dog.

I took my dog there for grooming recently. For twice in a row my dog with long fur was returned not fully dry, which could cause skin issue. The groomers excuse was my dog didnt like the dryer sound... Then how did she get dried perfectly at other places?! And the worst is after getting home I found my dogs front paw bleeding in one of the nails... Horrible place not going back.

Simba dreaded stepping into daycare his first few times but now every time I mention the word daycare he tilts his head and goes for his harness and leash 🤣. I noticed hes been such a good boy at home, on walks, and at the dog park since we started him on his train and play sessions with Arianna. Im happy hes gotten so comfortable around the workers and is even asking for scratches! The staff are super welcoming and communicate well. I appreciate you all for making it such a positive experience for Simba!!

I took my dog in a few weeks ago and have this to say:Pros: The people there are great. They seem to enjoy their job and really enjoy their work.Cons: The place is an absolute rip off financially and I do not believe they keep the dogs in a good place.When I first walked in, the playrooms genuinely look like prison cells from Rikers Island. Dogs can pee/poo anywhere and anytime in this small room with no sunlight. Although someone does clean it up, as an owner I have no idea who cleans it and when it gets cleaned. I am sure they will respond and say that they clean it up immediately but I highly doubt that.In terms of the finances - its an absolute ripoff if you want your dog to have a normal daycare day.Want them to be fed a midday snack that WE provide to the staff? - $8 extraWant them to go outside for a pee break? - $15 extraWant them to go for a proper 30 minute walk during the day? - $30 extraIts so sad that just the base price of $68 of daycare does not include any of that and that the dogs dont get a breath of fresh air or food at all during the day without an additional cost.There are a variety of other daycare places nearby that give just as much care and do not cost as much... The pricing model is very scammy and they will try to squeeze every penny from you.Verdict: Do not take your dog here

Our pup has such a wonderful and loving extended family at B&B. We simply would not know what to do without their care, convenience and incredible service. For our furry child, the time with his friends and the B&B staff is the best part of his day.

The staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Super friendly, professional, and its clear they all genuinely love dogs. Facilities are incredibly clean. As a self-proclaimed helicopter dog mom, I feel so lucky to have such a great doggy daycare close to my apartment. Whenever I pass by the location on potty walks, my 75lb dogter will punch the door and try to get inside so she can go play with her favorite people and puppers. This location comes highly recommended.

My dog loves it here, and the staff is excellent. They really take pride in what they do, and it shows. I’ve used several dog day cares in NYC, and none compare. Highly recommend.

Awful place. We tried this daycare for our 15 week puppy, this was her first time in day care. We were planning to have an evening out and asked them to drop her off home and crate her around 7:30 / 8 pm. Luckily hadn’t left for our night out yet and were home when they dropped her off at 5 pm, hours before the requested time. They were going to let her be in the crate for 6 hours straight, which is detrimental to her health at her age. They probably thought they could get away with dropping her early because they thought we would not be at home, even though we paid for an extended service. Not only that when she returned her really expensive name tag was broken too. Pretty sure it’s because one the other pups chewed on it and they didn’t even notice or stop it. Ridiculous! When we called to complain, they didn’t apologize or have any excuses. They didn’t even offer to take her back for another 3 hours as per our initial agreement, so that we could have a peaceful night out. Horrible place! Don’t go here. This place just looks fancy but they are clearly irresponsible and don’t care.

Gabrielle and B&B team in midtown west are amazing, they care of my dog Figo wonderfully and Im always up to date on everything concerning to his health, behavior and activities while hes there. The In-house vet team is also great. Totally recomended

My dog Chewy loves this place. He gets his grooming, vet services and daycare there. This place is awesome. The staff is so professional. and friendly. They truly love dogs.

Awesome place with great staff. My dog Teddy loves coming here to hangout with all of his friends. I highly recommend it to any dog owners looking for a friendly place to let their dog socialize.

The staff here are very nice and the facilities seem clean every time we visit! Overall both me and my pup had a great experience!

Gabrielle is phenomenal and the rest of the B&B staff are so great to our Shiba Inu, Gracie. Highly recommended!

I had an expired training sessions and they are great to give a grace period and let me finish my sessions. I appreciated that.

Awesome and friendly staff! All the pups there look happy, which made me feel comfortable the first time I dropped off my pup. Dulce (my pup) looks forward to visiting Esther and the team. In addition, the team is helpful breaking down costs and confirming the online requests. After the visit we like to hang out near the water front and take in the breeze.

Great communication through text. Great service. Pick up and drop off. Send pictures when overnight boarding. Love them

Edit: Note the lack of denial regarding: (i) crating a dog for almost 11 hours; and (ii) not informing the owner so we can make an educated decision. Just continued lies and misrepresentations (more down time than usual).**When there is one 1-star review, it may just be a jilted a customer. When there are multiple 1-star reviews from different people and over time and across multiple locations (as is the case with this organization), then perhaps there are systemic and problematic issues.We had been patrons of B&B since 2016 – big mistake on our part. They pride themselves on transparency and communication, yet, they did not practice these core tenets, at least in our situation.In our case, B&B told us that our dog was part of a limited play and rotated down-time program. As we found out on our most recent visit at pickup after some questions due to some fuzzy statements by the staff, this really meant that he had sat in a crate for the entire time that he was under their care. The only time he was let out was because an employee was willing take him out on their personal break. For the 11 hours our dog was under B&B supervision on Oct. 30, he was in a crate for 10.5+ of those 11 hours and the 0.5 hours was because someone took him out on their personal time. Meanwhile we had been told he was in a play rotation program.Confined to a crate for 10.5+ hours out of 11 hours is at worst an outright lie relative to what was communicated and an inhumane way of treating an animal, and at best a very liberal definition of limited play and still inhumane. Moreover, B&B refused to discuss questions about prior treatment of our dog or why we were initially told he was being rotated when in reality he was being crated, at least on this last visit, if not more.By misrepresenting their ‘care’ for our dog, this organization not only stole our business, but more importantly and disappointingly, they stole our right to make an informed decision about how to manage dog care and training as well as knowledge about the welfare of our dog. Shame on us for trusting this organization and not figuring out the truth sooner.There are additional examples where at best, B&B was not performing the service that they represent, and at worst we were being outright lied to. At the end of the day, it appears that some owners have good experiences, but clearly others do not.Dog-owner beware with this organization. If you decide to use them, please make sure to ask all the questions, stay on top of the situation and corroborate statements. Based on our experience, please do not take everything you hear at face value. If you utilize their services, I truly hope you have a very different experience from ours. Personally, we wish we had heeded the warnings of the 1-star reviews.Please feel free to message me for any additional details.
