This is George ( The Owner of Happy Feet 2 Pet shop) regarding the review of Mr Joe , we don’t do Boarding or Grooming since July 2024 , what you saw at the store was my Store’s Cat 🐈‍⬛ , I hope you correct your review, Happy New Year to you and all Honest Customers.

Great selection of cat food. Clean and well organized shop. Super friendly cashier who even asked me questions about my kitty and offered some advice. Will definitely be coming back.

One morning before opening I saw the lights out, gates locked and a poor dog with what looked like a tumor looking around. Must have gotten out from the boarding area. The dogs being boarded are left alone overnight.

Decent shop, but a bit small. Didnt see anyone else enter while I was there, but maybe thats a good thing. I went in looking for a slicker brush for the dogs I am sitting and was able to find it. Im not sure if the price is comparable, but at $12, Id say it is probably the right price for a pet shop in New York City on the East Side.That being said, I was able to find it for $8 on Chewy. My thing was more time sensitive, so I picked it up, but it looks like youre going to get your best bet online. Especially if youre shopping for anything on the East Side of Manhattan. Plus, ordering it online gets it sent directly to you, and is much more convenient.In general, Ive seen a markup of a minimum of 33% above other locations in the city for anything you need to buy in any of the stores on the East Side. Thank God for public transit.

I’ve been taking my two dogs here for about a year now, and I refuse to go anywhere else. The staff is helpful and friendly, and most importantly, the groomer is phenomenaI would highly recommend Happy feet 2 in the second Ave.They really care about the pups. we are happily impressed with David, last time he gave our dogs a great summer cut, and finished the job with the cutest neck ties (above and beyond). Our dogs love them. Looking forward to our next visit.

Took my brand new foster pup here for a bath. He was previously stray so needed a lot of cleaning - his fur was nearly matted. They were able to take our new shy pup same day. Our pup came back from the bath sparkling clean. The difference before and after the bath is night and day. The staff was incredibly friendly and handled our pup with such amazing care. Not to mention, reasonably priced! Highly recommend!

Just picked up my new foster pup from this groomer and he looks AMAZING! He was a stray who needed a ton of attention and care as he is extremely fearful at the moment. This groomer did and incredible job not only with the bath but also with ensuring my foster dog felt comfortable and cared for. Could not beat the price and quality of this place, 100% recommend!

Great selection of toys, food, and treats. For example, they had EVERY item from WestPaw, while the big box pet stores have none or only the most popular item. Everyone was really kind and helpful, and my pup got a treat from the shop for being so good during our visit! I love supporting a small business run by people who have personal knowledge with the products they are selling.

I take my cat to Happy Feet to get her nails clipped. She is very fearful and squirmy, but the store owner is very good with her and stays patient and kind to her throughout the process. Theyre really a lifesaver! They also carry her favorite wet food and treats so its a one stop shop. Would definitely recommend.

FABULOUS!! I took my puppy for her first grooming few days ago and it was fantastic. the groomer is a nice guy and he did a wonderful job. My puppys coat was sleek and shiny, she smelled wonderful and he even put little bows in her hair, he also clipped and ground her nails. Our pup was so happy and it seemed to be an enjoyable experience for her. The grooming area was sooo nice,very clean and warm, it wasnt crowded with other dogs and the store itself is nice and clean, they have fun things for sale from treats and food to a huge selection of collars to little socks and shoes. I just love this lil place.

This is a great pet shop that carries even hard to find food. The owner is reay helpful and kind. They also offer pet sitting services. They have watched my cats many times and I always come home to healthy happy cats. It is a huge relief to find a pet sitter you can count on.

My mom took her toy poodle there to get groomed. She regrets leaving him there because they brought him down to a dark basement room that wasnt even decorated or made to look nice. Her dog was burned and it seems the groomer applied some type of iodine treatment because it left a stain on his skin. The grooming instruments must have been dirty. Her dog got pink eye and was very sick. She had to take him to the Vet and it cost $600. They didnt even ask or take his Vet records -- thats a sign they are not running their business properly.

We have been grooming our dogs for years at this place...always happy with services here at Happy Feet...our dogs passed over the years...we had no dogs & had no groomer...we decided to adopt an older rescue shih tsu mix from Bideawee...took him/Jackson to Rosie the groomer at Happy Feet...she did a fabulous job! Jackson has special needs and needed partucular attention to grooming him; their groomer listened & delivered! We are so grateful & highly recommend this facility!

The store is carrying a lot of Food ,Treats,Litters,Toys and Accessories, David is A Professional Groomer, Thanks Happy Feet for opening all days even when most of The Pet Shops were closed during The Covid 19 Pandamic serving The Local Customers.

The groomer who works on Sunday is super nice person as well as the owner, George.

The go-to neighborhood pet shop for all pet needs. If it doesnt have what youre looking for, theyll order it. Prices not bad for midtown. Support your local small businesses 👍
